Where to Eat the Cheesiest Dishes in Dallas

"The cheesiest house speciality award definitely goes to Ddong Ggo’s Cheese Island. This gooey masterpiece features an iron skillet on a table burner filled with shredded white cheese. Once the cheese has melted, the pile of fried chicken wings and Jenga-stacked fries become the island. To add to the cheese-fueled experience, there are also nacho Cheetos french fries and soups topped with Kraft singles." - Allison Castloo

Google
This is probably my 3rd or 4th time coming here. But this time, I brought my Cousin that has never tried Korean food. He loved the food, the music, the overall atmosphere, and the service. I did as well. We sat at the bar this evening, and every now and then, one of the bartenders came over to check in on us even though he was busy. The food and drinks came out quickly. Yougurt Soju, for the win! We ordered the 3 types of fries, green onion chicken, cheese kimchi onion pizza, spicy shrimp, and sweet chili chicken wings. It was VERY delicious with a unique taste I couldn't get at other Korean restaurants. After we ate and left. My cousin wanted to go back not even 20 minutes later. 🤣

Jennie ng

Google
Food taste was above average, big portion vs price so i cannot give under 4 stars. My favorite is chili shrimp. tasty. Like the atmosphere there, nice music, loud but fun. They have special for someone’s bday. Free drink for customer’s bday. Service is lil concerned due to i feel sometime like they abandon me. 🥲 But overall is 4 stars for the restaurant.

Google
Celebrated a restaurant opening here. Great staff and food/drink. They’re probably the most expensive around but it was the closest pocha to us. They were able to accommodate my party of 10 instantly during peak hour.

Google
I have been here twice, great experience every time I come!! music and food is great same with the drinks, awesome for a night out!

Google
Everything about this place is amazing! Our bartender was charismatic, the food came in large portions and so flavorful, and the atmosphere is so upbeat and fun! Without a doubt, I will be taking my kids here to enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Small place with a ton to offer! Get your seat early because this place was PACKED by 6pm (they open at 4:30?).

Google
Amazing Korean fusion food, delicious wings, K-pop, and lots of cheese you can't go wrong going here. The staff was very kind and attentive. They did an awesome birthday celebration for one of the other guests. You need to visit. Big portion sizes so bring your friends and share your favorite foods together. Overall 5* this place does not disappoint.

My Reviews

Google
I had the honey garlic chicken wings and wow! they were crispy and flavorful. I wish their seating was a bit more comfortable. overall a great time.

Google
Food was delicious, although we were seated right under the speakers and could barely hear anybody, that’s my only real complaint about the place it’s just way too loud

Yelp
The best place to go after late night badminton or pickleball practices. The food hits the spot everytime. We came here multiple times. Almost becoming a ritual for us. The two of our most favorites are the pork belly and the honey butter popcorn chicken. Cannot beat it. Always burst with flavors and fresh from the kitchen. Food always comes out FAST. The servers always check on us. I dare to say this place is very close to almost perfect. The reason why I said "almost" is because of the ambiance. I still gv them a 5 stars because it is cozy and intimate. Really resembles a street food style. However, the music.. is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS WAAAAY TOOO LOUD. I usually can't hear my friends talking. We always have to scream at each other. I am out of voice when we are done because the amount of shoutings we do at this place. Honestly the music can use some volume control. Just turn it down a notch. Understand the vibe is young, happy, hip, and loud. But seriously this is WAAAY too loud. Give some rooms for people to hear each other and enjoy conversations. But other than that.. absolutely recommend their food!

Yelp
My friends and I shared the spicy rice cakes with ramen, garlic chicken wings with soy sauce, and the mango yogurt cocktail soju. All the food and drinks were super delicious and were a good portion size to share between 3 people. Ramen and cheese are both additional charges to the rice cakes if you choose to include them. My friends with lower spice tolerances did mention the rice cakes and wings were a bit spicy for them so take that into account when ordering as well. You will need to click a button if you need your server. They usually were super prompt with coming to address our needs once the button was clicked. The restaurant also celebrated a lot of birthdays at my visit and overall provided a very great atmosphere to hang out with friends later in the evening. There are plenty of seating available to accommodate various party sizes and bar as well if that is what you prefer.

Yelp
Ddong Ggo is a fantastic spot, especially if you're out late and want to avoid fast food, which is usually your only option at that hour. I likw that this place stays open late--it really fills a need in the area. During my most recent visit, we arrived earlier than usual and discovered they had a happy hour. My friend and I decided to split a yogurt soju cocktail, which has always been a hit for us. For our main dishes, we each ordered bulgogi bowls. While my friend enjoyed his, I found the bulgogi bowl a bit too sweet for my taste, though I think many people would really like it. The staff was friendly and even recognized my friend since he visits often. As a nice gesture, they treated us to a couple of items on the house. It was a thoughtful touch, even though my friend opted out-he's a bit traumatized from one of the ingredients in this item lol. Overall, Ddong Ggo has a great, chill, casual vibe, capturing the essence of a casual Korean pub restaurant. It's also pretty nice to go to watch the games on their TV's. This restaurant is always a go-to option for late-night dining.

Yelp
The customer service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were promptly greeted by the staff, and they were quick to respond when I used the call button at our table. The ambiance was lively and dimly lit, with great music that transported me straight back to South Korea! The honey butter chicken wings were a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it -- they were flavorful, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients. The tteokbokki was also delicious, with the perfect balance of spice in the sauce. There's plenty of parking, and the bathroom was spotless. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great late night spot for Korean street food! Their spicy stir fried chicken with cheese and bomb fries are soooo delicious. The cheese melt in the pot and the cheese pulls come out so satisfying. Lively environment and I always have a good time here with friends on nights out in Carrollton!

Yelp
Nestled in a lively strip mall in Carrollton, Texas, Ddong Ggo is the ultimate Korean bar experience. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a relaxed yet buzzing atmosphere, filled with the cheerful chatter of friends enjoying their night out. It's the perfect spot for good times and great food. The drink menu is a highlight, offering a variety of Soju in fun flavors that keep the party going. But the food truly steals the show. The Cheese Island is a must-try, featuring massive chicken wings surrounded by cheesy corn--pure comfort food bliss. The spicy chicken is equally impressive, delivering a flavorful kick. For something a bit different, the spicy fried tofu is a crowd favorite, as is the savory seafood pancake. Ddong Ggo is more than just a meal; it's an experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Korean dishes with friends, this is the spot.

Yelp
My favorite Korean bar spot. I've been back here so many times and never disappoints. The vibes are authentic Korean bar vibes and the food is flavorful and hot. Love the cheesy spicy chicken and the Kimchi fried rice

Yelp
Ddong ggo (chicken butt) is a Korean pocha that serves bar food and alcohol and is open late at night. They have another location in LA. It's pretty dimly lit but I witnessed them light up the place like a club for some ones birthday. Whenever you want service, you just push a button and a server will head right over. My friends and I got the bomb fries, the spicy rice cakes, and spicy chicken wings. There were certain times in the past where I didn't have a great experience but I had a good one this time. The fries were good, the ones at the bottom were overly drenched in sauce to eat though. The spicy wings were reallly spicy but they had good flavor. And the pickled daikons are good palette cleansers. The spicy rice cakes were nice and chewy, and I love the fish cakes as well. They weren't too spicy at all.

Yelp
My friends and I came on a Saturday evening, so pretty occupied. I found pressing the button for service to be convenient, since my group and I tend to be indecisive, but overall the service was good! The ambiance was a bit loud, but it's to be expected. It's a nice place to catch up with friends & have a good time. As for the food, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the stir-fried chicken with cheese! The chicken was prepared well & the addition of cheese + corn makes it a perfect 3-in-1 order (good for indecisive people). The spicy seafood soup was moderately spicy, good to eat with a heavy meal, but nothing special. In addition, the honey butter chicken had a bit too much powder on the top; good crunch, but I've tasted better fried chicken. Personally, I would've prefer if the honey butter flavor was more subtle. Food is good, but for what you get, it is on the pricier end. Would return for the spicy stir-fried chicken with cheese, and possibly other dishes!

Yelp
I love coming here for late night snacks/food and drinks with friends! They're open late and have a wide range of Korean dishes to choose from. Service is efficient as well with call buttons at your table. I visit this place pretty often and have tried the seafood pancake, assorted fish cake soup, steam big egg roll, shake fries, and kimchi fried rice. My favorites are definitely the shake fries and fish cake soup so far. The shake fries seasoning is soo good and addictive (a little sweet, salty, and cheesy) and the dish comes with three types of fries! The broth for the fish cake soup was delicious and goes well with soju. The other dishes I've tried are still good although probably not something I'd care to order again. Dishes are a bit on the pricier size but the portions are huge!! I recommend trying this place out for some soju and Korean snacks, especially later in the night with friends. It gets pretty lively during the weekend and it's a fun and cozy place to hang out :)

Yelp
Guess what, chicken butt! Ddong Ggo TX is one of the best Korean chicken and beer places I've ever been to in the US. It's great for large groups and they expect that. The staff is real nice and make you feel special when it's your birthday with a sparkling candle and loud music. I highly recommend ordering these two dishes: - Cheese Island (don't forget to let the cheese melt before grabbing something!) - Honey Butter Chicken Wings Can't wait to go back someday!

Samavi A.

Yelp
Came here with my cousin for a late night dinner. It was a cozy place playing Kpop pretty loud. We ordered the bulgogi rice cakes and the honey butter popcorn chicken. The portions were very large, 3 people could probably share 1 dish. The food itself was very tasty, we ended up taking leftovers home.

Yelp
Ddong Ggo is located in the same plaza as Hmart. My friends and I came here late on a Tuesday night and ordered takeout. We had the dogs with us, so we ended up eating outside. There's no outdoor seating, but there are benches. We ordered the honey butter wings, BBQ spicy wings, and spicy rice cake. Everything tasted so good! This type of food is rare to find in the States, and it reminds me of the fried chicken I had in Korea. We will definitely be back to try the other items in the near future!

Yelp
I tried Ddong Ggo TX this weekend with a group & we were not disappointed. This restaurant/bar has great food, vibes & service. If you're looking for somewhere to go after a night out, give it a try! Great vibes in this spot. The music is cool & they have a lot of TVs so I was able to watch basketball while we ate. Service was also really good, & they have call buttons on every table so you don't have to flag your waiter down. The food was delicious. I ordered the honey butter popcorn chicken & fries. The chicken was a good mix of sweet & savory, & the fries were crispy & salty. I also tried the spicy rice cake with cheese & ramen. It was so good, but so spicy. If you can handle the heat it's definitely worth it. Everyone I went with also enjoyed their food, so if you'd like to try something else I'm sure it'll be tasty!

Yelp
Everything is so good here. It does get really busy & they are open late. Came here from a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Start off by getting the WHOLE WATERMELON SOJU (if it's available) so you get the party started early. Then order the KOREAN STYLE BIG EGG ROLL for the appetizer to share with the rest of the table. It's really, really big. And since this establishment gives off "Korean pub", you have to order the HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN WINGS. The flavor profile on those wings is *chefs kiss*. For your main dish, get the FRESH GRILLED THIN PORK BELLY. Juicy cuts of marinated pork belly will do the job every single time! Highly recommend this place, especially if you want a chill night out with friends. The dishes are definitely shareable and the place is an overall good time. Tip: when its your birthday, let them know :)

Yelp
Food was amazing! The service is always quick and the mood is always upbeat!! Drinks are always tasty and reasonably priced

Yelp
I went here on a weekend and the atmosphere was very fun. It's a bar type of atmosphere with music and lights. They serve mostly Korean food in big portions so its definitely recommended to go in a group. Most of the tables were full when I was there which was why service can be slow. The food items are little pricey for what you get but it was pretty tasty and you're really coming here for the atmosphere anyways. I had the kimchi fried rice and I enjoyed it very much. There are a lot of spicy items so if you love spicy food then you're in luck. I would definitely recommend coming here if like bars and Korean food!

Yelp
I always love coming here! It's so casual and the call button feature is so nice so the waiters can help you when needed. me and my friend split the fried pork belly ($25), spicy rice cakes ($20), and pineapple soju bottle ($17). The soju bottle was perfect for 2 ppl. The fried pork belly was nothing too special- it was super crispy like lechon. The spicy rice cakes were perfect!! It's hard to mess up these food items so you rlly pay extra for the quantity. The pineapple soju was really bubbly- which was a nice change from the non carbonated options. Service here is always quick! Took them 15 mins to get these huge platters out. I love coming here for their $30 watermelon special and will def be back.
google avatar

Manvita M.

Yelp
We went here on a Friday night - it was pretty occupied. We ordered spicy rice cake, chicken with cheese, garlic wings and spicy wings. The wings were really good but the other two items were OK. The portions are huge and each dish was 20/25 - my personal opinion was they could reduce price and give smaller portions so we would try more varieties.

Kelsea C.

Yelp
The Kimchi Fried Rice with cheese here would be one of my last meal items. The portions are huge and shareable, so it's a great place to go with friends. It also has a very fun atmosphere!
google avatar

Jacob K.

Yelp
The food came out fresh and super hot that it was really good to enjoy with my family I would come here again for the big portions!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my go-to spots when in Carrollton. Super tasty food and good service. If you want to try Korean street food then this is the spot. My faves are the tteokboki (with cheese and ramen), honey butter wings, tofu & kimchi, and kimchi pancakes/fritters (jeon). Great cocktails and fun atmosphere. It can get very crowded and loud! Especially when there are birthdays, lol. If you can't stand k-pop then it isn't the place for you but you'll be missing out on good eats.
google avatar

Maddie V.

Yelp
Ddong Ggo is the best place to go for a celebration or just to have a fun night! We got the Tteokbokki, Egg Roll, Cheese Corn, and the Honey Butter Popcorn Chicken. Everything was delicious, if you come here you NEED to get the honey butter chicken, it's the perfect mix of salty and sweet. Food is served family style, so the more the merrier.
google avatar

Khanh T.

Yelp
This place was amazing!! I ordered the volcano kimchi fried rice and the spicy chicken wings to eat along. The fried rice has cheese and egg and the cheese is slightly sweet which makes the dish 10000/10. The wings are very crispy, hot, and the inside was very juicy. The sauce on the chicken is very good, but it's not spicy at all. I would come back to try their corn cheese next time!

Yelp
Take. Friends. With you. We knew next to nothing about this place other than some friends recommended the food. We were shopping at HMart, and decided tonight was the night! The pub atmosphere was not what we expected, but was still a fun vibe. As with every Korean restaurant, I had to immediately ask the server what was safe for me to eat (sesame allergy). The server wasn't super confident about what was safe, he did check for me and made some recommendations. We ordered two things (and a third was ordered because of a misunderstanding). We had no idea the portions were going to be SO HUGE. We could have easily fed 10 people with the food we ordered. Enormous portions. Super big. The spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) was really good. One of my favorite dishes, this was the first time I'd had it with cheese and ramen. I really like it. The Korean army stew was really wonderful. The kimchi gave the stew a great umami flavor that was almost reminiscent of a tomato base. Very flavorful and hearty. The green onion chicken was simple, but really flavorful. Highly recommended, just take some friends with you to share the food.
google avatar

Oanh N.

Yelp
Food: surprisingly for a place that's solely meant to hangout & drink (pub-like) the food is great! But do beware you might need some tums or pepto later on in the night, hah. I think it might have to do with the cleanliness of the pots/pans that the food get served on. Watermelon soju, spicy seafood udon, volcano kimchi fried rice, spam shake box, spicy stir fried chicken w/cheese, and wings Ambiance: definitely can be rowdy depending what time & day you come in. Kpop music on blast. Low tables + baby stools. Service: standard
google avatar

Vania B.

Yelp
I can see why this place is so popular! Good food, vibe, and service! The inside reminds me of being at a night market, and I love that each table has a buzzer to ring for help, so the service is great. Also, all of the portion sizes were huge. My favorite was the spicy fried chicken with cheese! Flavorful with the right amount of spice! Honey butter chicken was good, but I still think Vons (in California) does it best. Egg roll was ok; it's a bit plain and gets boring to eat by the time you get a couple of pieces in. Overall, really good restaurant and I would come back!

Jacob U.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night and servers were incredibly helpful and chill; the food was also great for a party of 6, with the egg roll (made with 18 eggs apparently) being a notable standout
google avatar

Yelp
Let me start by saying, I'm ggo-ing back soon. Eating here over the years made me come--- to the realization that the food here will never miss. Order a bucket of mop water and it will still be good. Had the tteokbokki and was isekaied into a shitty Korean webtoon, and suddenly became fluent in Korean. 이 포차는 사실 변장한 맡집이에요. See what I'm talking about? Devoured the spicy chicken stir fry with the creamiest corn in the Midwest like it would be my last meal. Overall it was okay I guess.
google avatar

Mandy L.

Yelp
The food was good. Expect to pay a hefty amount dining here. I feel like it's overpriced.
google avatar

Amy Y.

Yelp
This place was so fun! Try the Cheese Island--chicken wings, fries & cheese, you can't go wrong. The spam shake box was also fun. Ambiance was cool too.
google avatar

Mikala D.

Yelp
I saw many videos of this bar that looks so good! The music is fun anc catchy. The employees look miserable working there though. Food was okay. I will say the drinks are VERY strong. Assuming they want people to drink enough to make the food taste good. I got the screw kiss drink with the popsicle and it was honestly the best drink out of the 4 drinks my friends got. Food doesn't have too much flavor. We had corn cheese, spam flavored rice balls ( which you have to make your own balls, they just put the rice, mayo, spam in a bowl and give it to you with a glove), Scallion pancake (this was the best tasting), and a kimchi, pork belly and tofu bowl(very minimal flavor). The total for 4 drinks, 4 food items was around $115 before tip.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best late night spot! Love coming here to eat with friends and family. The food is always fresh and on point!

Kyle M.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and really like this place and have always had good service here. The food is quite good though a little on the pricy side and focused on larger portions so make sure to bring some friends to share. The honey butter wings ($26 for 12 wings) are a stand out that I haven't found a good approximation for anywhere else. I'd say it is worth the trip to just to try them for sure. They have a nice bar area as well. The shots and cocktails a bit more focused in sweeter flavors vs the more recent classic cocktail revival but if you like that type of drink then there are plenty of options to try. They also offer up the expected Korean soju cocktail options and some of the fun seasonal options like watermelon soju, etc. Overall, I think this is a pretty great spot. If this place had a few more options for smaller plates I'd likely make it my more regular local bar. Even still, Ddong Ggo Tx is a solid Korean spot for a fun night out with friends. Worth checking out for sure!

Yelp
Coming back like I promised! We came with a big group around midnight and the place was packed! We got a table for 9 and was seated very quickly. There are buttons on the tables you use when you're ready to order or need service (similar to kbbq restaurants). Our top 3 favorite dishes that you MUST get are: 1. Volcano kimchi fried rice - SO flavorful not sure what they put in it but one of the top kimchi fried rice I've had surrounded in a moat of melty cheese. This dish was cleared out first 2. Military hot pot - also SO flavorful and great when it's cold outside to warm your soul 3. Stir fried octopus and pork belly - just the right amount of spice! Order a bowl of white rice to eat this with on the side The big egg roll was HUGE. We ordered two for the table and could not finish, one would have easily sufficed for the table of 9. Nothing special, very eggy. I imagine 20+ eggs went into making that thing! Seafood pancake was alright as well, wouldn't order again. Very green onion heavy and bland. Overall, great place to go for late night munchies
google avatar

Kendy L.

Yelp
Food overall was average. Drinks decent. Service was lacking on a weekday evening. Had to call a waitress after ringing the bell 3 times for service. The Bomb Fries were tasty but had no spice at all even though it said it on the menu. It was just salty and very sweet. The grill pork belly tasted fine nothing special. Their bulgolgi beef was dry and lacked flavor. The Kimchi fried rice was decent. Again nothing special. The only good thing was the cocktail drink with the popsicle (Screw Kiss). However I only ordered for myself but they brought out two. So watch out for that. We also ordered a mango soju bottle drink to share and it was awful. Too much syrup. It was too sweet and we struggled to finish it.
google avatar

Samuel H.

Yelp
Overall wasn't bad. Service was great, ambience was chill and tad loud. Food was decent, a little sweeter than I usually like my food. When it says spicy, it isn't super spicy, just had a kick to it, so don't worry about having a bad time in the restroom later haha.

Yelp
After following and seeing Mikey Chen's vids, I bookmarked Ddong Ggo. Despite the plastic spoons, Ddong Ggo TX gets my 5 stars. Lets talk about the spoons later. D-dong G-go, definitely lets go when in Texas!! Been here twice and I really enjoyed my 2nd visit more. When I first visited back in April of 2021 ( without the other half) we were a party of 10 and remembered they were super busy. Food was mediocre and service wasn't the greatest. When I shared with my other half the Mikey Chen vid and my photos, he was jealous & wanted to try here. Few trips back to Texas we didn't have a chance to dine here and he kept asking about it so finally happened. Recently, March 25 2022 was the day, worked out perfect, arrived at this of part of Korea town at Carrollton Texas for an early dinner, about 6 pm. The restaurant wasn't filled yet but they got busy when we left. The waiter was going to put 5 of us in a tiny round table which we requested to have to 2 tables together. Thank you for accomodating our request, he moved us to the front of the restaurant which was so much better, less noise and a little quiet from the crowd. I like that Ddong has a button for service, we did utilized that a few times. What we ordered: We had to get the Cheese Island ( $30.) WOW, one of the items on vid., made me want to go here badly. Comes with fried chicken wings, corn, fries and yes lots of cheese. It was fun eating this seeing the cheese melt in front of you. note, the chicken is a little bland if you don't eat it with cheese. I mixed a little of the spicy sauce from the bbq chicken dish. spicy BBQ Chicken, with veggies and more cheese. this dish is ok, not my favorite. I had to get use to eating BBQ chicken with cheese. Kim Chee Fried Rice, the waiter pours the egg ( not cheese) on bottom of fried rice and its so cool, how the egg cooks in front of you. Taste like fresh kim chee fried rice, there are 2 types of egg. Bulgogi, my other half mentioned that this is his favorite dish out of the 4. For our cocktails, we got the lychee soju and I loved the Lychee Soju with popping boba. & about the plastic spoons, we needed spoons to scoop up the cheese, chicken, fried rice but it was really hard to use the plastic spoons. We had a hard time getting the cheese and since is a hot pot, I was worried about it melting the spoon. I really wish you provide us real spoons instead. All in all, we had a great time despite the spoons. My other half is happy, makes me happy too, he finally got to visit & YES. I will be back again!

Yelp
For a late night place/pregame, Ddong Ggo is not a bad option! The watermelon soju was a fun drink, a little water downed though, but enough to get us to karaoke nearby. We also ordered the vegetarian tteokboki - flavorful, typical pocha food.

Mark M.

Yelp
Loud (not a fan), mediocre service, recommend bulgogi, reasonable prices. Ok here's the required"more characters". Hhhhgfffftfgguhgghuuyg

Yelp
First time here for my birthday and I like the club vibes. Good music and good art. Also for your birthday, they pour dark and clear liquor in your mouth.. it was fun! Got the watermelon soju which is very tasty and light. Forgot to save my pictures but udon seafood was delicious! Also got fries which was very dry, probably needed to get more ketchup on it haha Kimchi fried rice was a must with egg. Will definitely come back again to try other foods!

Yelp
Great place to hang out at night. They open late and and everyone there is chill. I'm pleasantly surprised that the food is very authentic too. All their menu items have a decent portion. My favorite thing to get is the army soup, a staple of Korean bar food. Theirs really stood out compare to other bars' versions. It's not watery at all. It has a very proportioned content in the soup. I think 3-4 people could even enjoy an order of it. All in all it's a great place to go social with your friends or love ones.

Yelp
divine food, kimchi stew is my favourite ever and i will go back many times for it... everything i have tried has been delicious, i destroy my plate like a barbarian, like i am eating my last meal before execution.

Yelp
Service was great and the restaurant was nicely kept (bathrooms fairly clean, well-decorated). I like the buzzer system even if the loudness was a little off putting, lol! Shrimp tempura was good, pancake was alright (haven't seen whole crab sticks in them before... not a fan of that part personally!), tteokbokki was done well and on the sweeter side. My stew was incredibly oily! I couldn't finish it, brought it home to doctor it up. That broke my heart! I could pick out the seafood inside and there were about 4 pieces in there, a whole shrimp and I think some crab claws. The broth was so disappointing. Pure oil. I do like that I had the option to choose udon or tofu (I chose tofu). My partner had a bulgogi shake box that he took three bites out of and bailed, but he's a very picky eater so I can't speak to how it tasted. The presentation was super cute, though! Overall I would come back maybe for the apps and the H Mart nextdoor.

Yelp
I tried this on a weekend night with my sister and her partner and it was so so delicious and yummy! The service was pretty quick and it was quite loud in there. Everyone seemed to be having a great time though. I would 100% go here again. The food was phenomenal!

Yelp
Came here when I was visiting some friends in Dallas. The atmosphere here is crazy. Super jam packed, but lively. Lots of birthday celebrations so it adds to the festivities. The music was fun and a bit loud. The food was great for what it was. I'd say when you come here, the food is second and the soju is first. Get your drink on, enjoy some dishes, and have a blast hanging with your friends.

Yelp
Ordered the Volcano Kimchi Fried Rice with egg and cheese and the Spicy Chicken Wings. Both items were fantastic, super delicious and tasted much better than I expected it to. For the Volcano Kimchi Fried Rice, there's an extra $3 charge if you want both egg and cheese. Some of the items on the menu are definitely on the pricier end. One thing I loved was the portion sizes of the meals and in a way, it makes up for the prices. I didn't like the fact that most of the tables were close to each other because it definitely made me paranoid with COVID going on. I got there right when it opened and it got pretty busy soon after. They have a call button on the table that you press when you're ready to order and for service in general.

Yelp
FUN! It's a bar/dining/social gathering. It's really dimmed like a bar should be. They have KPOP playing and if you go in a Monday night like we did, you'll find lots of people finding any reason to celebrate on a Monday! Super fun. It's unique that they have a button on the table for you to press any time you need service. Press the button to order, get refills, get the check, etc. Bulgogi roll, salad, peppered chicken wings and Tbboki (forgive my spelling) combo platter- BOMB!! Their ttboki is spicy and sweet which was such a delicious addition to our next platter. Their bulgogi roll is such a good refresher for all of the carbs we inhaled. Chicken wings are EXTRA CRUNCHY!! Bulgogi Bowl- bulgogi over rice. Our waiter misunderstood us when we ordered this extra dish but it turned out to be a delicious surprise. It's a sweet marinade. Which went really good with the next dish. It adds SO much flavor! Kimchi Fried Rice with Egg AND cheese. Super disappointed with this dish. There's really no flavor. There's a $3 charge for both egg and cheese. I wish we just went with extra cheese instead of the egg. The tbboki fish cake and rice cake paired with the kimchi fried rice was delicious. The bulgogi and kimchi fried rice added such a good flavor to it too. But it wasn't very good by itself. I would pass on this next time. I love the authenticity to this restaurant! They serve you water just like they do in the Korean dramas and they play upbeat music upon walking in. The flavors are yummy and they have really awesome specials for people celebrating their birthdays. They open really late so it's a GREAT place to stop by if you're arriving from DFW. Only a 15 minute drive!

Yelp
CHEESE! FRIED CHICKEN! FRIES! This place gots everything we LOVE! We order two dish, "Spicy Chicken Cheese Stew" & "Korean Army Stew" They are WOW! The Spicy Chicken is the best food we ever tried! We love the cheese so much. It not only has chicken, but also has tiny rice cake, bell peppers. I love how they blend with cheese! The portion is decent. The Korean army stew portion is bigger than the spicy chicken stew. It has so many ham and sausages!! We love the ramen. The service is ok. They have a ring on each table, whenever you are ready, you can just click the ring. During the meal, there is no service, but that's a ok I think. Loud music, and might be not friendly to infants. But it's a perfect place for friends and party! Love this place. Definitely will come visit again again and again.
