De Basiliek

Have been here twice in 2 months period. Both times, a decent level of food. The second time , we took the day menu that included deer steak, and it was excellent. an attentive and friendly service. The location itself is always full and therefore It's very noisy. Had difficulties is to hear each other. I recommend booking a table beforehand.

De Basiliek is a modern restaurant with a chic monochrome colour scheme, made extra special by the festive sparkle of the Christmas season. The menu card caught my attention for being minimalist. They offer a set menu which you can pair with wine if you fancy. The festive season brought in a lot of diners, but it seems they had employed enough staff to manage the buzz, which kept the service running smoothly. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The bavette was medium rare and came with a lovely sauce that complemented it perfectly, the sukade was tender and pulled apart beautifully, and the ravioli was just heavenly—light, flavourful, and rich all at once. The only downside was the menu’s heavy focus on meat options. The vegetarian choice was taken from the starters, which felt a bit limiting compared to the variety of meat offered. If you’re after a modern dining experience with tasty dishes, then the De Basiliek is for you.

Excellent food without being pretentious. All the dishes were impressive, particularly the rock shrimp one. The rib eye was cooked to perfection. Very nice service. Prices were fair.

Amazing restaurant. The service is impeccable, even without a reservation they did everything they could to accommodate us at the bar. We had a delicious dinner, with wonderful food and fantastic wine... I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great, we had the fish of the day and steak. The service was not great, the server was quite rude and condescending. She did not know the menu, we asked how the fish was cooked and she just kept saying its sea bass.

Nice restaurant, actually bigger than it looks from the front. Nice concept, excellent food! You can choose your own menue for a fixed price. good value for money! Staff could because little bit more motivated and more active…but all in all a very nice experience and we will come back for sure!

We went for team lunch at this restaurant and it was awesome with the Lunch menu, the food was tasty (smakelijke) and service was good.

De Basiliek restaurant is a splendid fusion of Italian and creative multicultural culinary deliciousness. The descriptions on the menu can be enigmatic but it's impossible to be disappointed with the chef's masterful creations at Basiliek. My friend and I came to enjoy a night out and celebrate our 38 years of friendship and toast to many more. The cocktails are refreshing and the dishes are phenomenal. We shared the very creative and surprising rock shrimp appetizer, and enjoyed the cooked to perfection eggplant entree and the fine spicy mackerel salad. The flavors of the dishes are unique and succulent. For dessert we had the date-chocolate cake with ice cream and a special limoncello smoothie! Our server, Irene fro Salamanca, Spain is incredible! She went above and beyond to make our celebration unforgettable. Highly recommended!!

Had a WONDERFUL meal there in early July. We had a large group of 20 people and the staff was able to keep up with everything we wanted to eat & drink. Will definitely be back if travels bring us back here.

The atmosphere here is lovely. Dark and intimate. We were at a table for 8. I liked how tight the table was -- everyone could hear each other. The food was very good. Some highlights were the mushroom appetizer and the beef tartare. For main courses, the vegetable ravioli was solid. My venison was tasty, but the portion was small and it was a bit overcooked. This was a nice place to linger for a long dinner with friends.
