"Is that a deer or hare bounding across the sweeping fields that surround this country manor? Very possibly! A meal at De Bloemenbeek always comes with a side of serene natural beauty. Be sure to take the aperitif in the warm and inviting lounge before moving through to the stylish restaurant area, where a dark carpet, glinting chandeliers and open fireplace set the stage for a cosy fine dining experience. Game hunted in the Twente region, vegetables from local farmers and Far Eastern flavours are artfully brought together by master chef Michel van Riswijk and head chef Vincent Goris. Expect classically indulgent robust sauces and exquisite creams. The best of the Twente terroir meets expertise and the occasional creative flourish in dishes that leave a lasting impression. Succulent pan-fried pike-perch with wonderfully crispy skin is, for example, accompanied by finely chopped white cabbage stewed in vanilla butter, as well as a warm, umami-rich vinaigrette with capers and smoked eel, plus crispy Bentheim Black Pied pork belly. The generosity here is genuine!" - Michelin Inspector

We had an amazing time at the Bloemenbeek where we celebrated our friend’s birthday. The staff was great and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in (and I have been very lucky to stay in some amazing places around the world). The staff are superb and everything is elegant but not stuffy. It's refined but relaxed. The restaurant is out of this world and the wine list is second to none. I cannot fault a thing. Just wonderful. It is not cheap but, for a fine dining and luxurious spa experience I was amazed at what good value it is. Been twice and will definitely be back.

This was our second time at De Bloemenbeek.||In advance I had mentioned that my travelling partner has an allergy for garlic. They wrote that they already knew from last year. This made a very good impression.|However when we were in the restaurant the first day, we got the starters, and my friend ask if there was any garlic in it, and there was. I don't know how this went wrong, but for a restaurant with Michelin star, you don't expect them to make any mistakes in this, but they did. I am generous to only deduct one point for that, because they rectified the mistake and adapted the menu for my friend.||On the room we got a welcome message. It was personalised, I liked it.||We had 2 days of great weather. It is so nice to sit outside here at 5 PM, and relax in the sun, and enjoy the peace and quite.

I had booked this hotel after I had seen an advertisement from a Golf Travel Agency.||Booking was done very well. They organise everything for you, even tee times for the golfcourses. ||The hotel is located on a small road with very little trafic, great for some peace and quite.||Hotel room was comfy, especially the bathroom, which I assume was renovated, looked very nice.||We had 2 diners in the restaurant in the hotel. Very good was that the allergy for my travelling partner that was mentioned at booking, was well recorded. My friend got all slightly different dishes where garlic was present. The restaurant is very good with great food and good staff. |However I had 2 remarks which concern personal taste. On the first day we went for the fitting wines, but some of them were too cool. Even the red wine is cooled these days. Maybe other people like, but we did not. On day two we took a bottle of red and white wine, and they were not cooled on our request, which was much better.|Second thing is minor, but I personally would like to see more light in the restaurant. I wouldn't say it was dark, but it was gloomy. Apparently it is done deliberatly to create an atmosphere.||On saturday morning we went to the breakfast at the earliest hour to find out we were an hour too soon. The receptionist clearly told us breakfast was served at 7 AM, however we then found out this is only at weekdays, at weekend days it's 8 AM. Even though I don't find this a big issue, this kind of mistake rarely happens, and should not happen.||For the golf fans, we booked Rijk van Sybrook and Twentsche. Both are not top courses, but they were fine, and surprisingly not busy in the weekend, which made it possible to complete the round in just 3 hours.||Apart from the mistake with the breakfast hours, staff is very helpful and professional, and I found this a very good hotel with restaurant.

Excellent hospitality rendered by the entire hotel Team. Lavish breakfast, comfortable rooms with best facilities and on top of that an awesome dinner at a rightfully * rated restaurant. Individualized service was most appreciated. We’ll be back soon!

Due to a breakdown on our road trip we needed to find a hotel nearby at short notice that could book us in and by amazing good luck we happened to find this place. ||I cannot say enough good things about the hotel, the food and the staff. There was torrential rain when we turned up but the receptionist still insisted on coming out to help us carry our luggage. ||Because we turned up at short notice we had no restaurant booking and we don't eat meat, but the amazing chefs in their Michelin starred restaurant organised a fish and vegetarian based meal for us at incredibly short notice and it was stunning. ||The staff couldn't have been more helpful during our brief stay and I guarantee we will be going back. The rooms and the entire hotel are beautifully decorated and the entire atmosphere is calm and relaxing. We have been fortunate to stay in many wonderful hotels and guest houses around the world but this does everything just perfectly. It is classy and elegant without feeling stuffy or uptightand the is second to none.

Our second stay. Excellent rooms and (mostly) nice quality food, with an overall friendly staff. The grounds are wonderful, and on this visit we also discovered the swimming pool. 4 rather than 5 stars this time around, as the breakfast was a bit of a shambles (foods ran out, there was an overly keen focus on where people had to sit, and the coffee was from a self-service machine rather than fresh….).

This hotel is our home away from home. Located in beautiful nature. The are currently renovating the rooms. We stayed in the old and new rooms and its a big improvement. The staff is always so welcoming and sweet. The food is excellent. So fresh and tasteful. Attention to detail and local products. Their staff takes good and personal care of us. They always have gifts for our dogs. I love to see the family spirit in the hotel. The owner talks to the guest and their dog bella walks around. The pool is also very nice.

Yelp
It is not without reason that restaurant "De Bloemenbeek" has a Michelin star and more than 16 Gault Millau points. So about the quality of the food nothing but good. And the anbiance is wonderful rural Twente wealth. The surprise is the combinations of taste that keep surprising you. Add to this the balance of the flavors without dominating. Enjoy pur sang. The sommelier knows his job and complements with a fine bouquet of wines. He also tells a nice "wine" story. So stay there especially sleep, you enjoy even more. There is of course a price tag, but that is well spent.
