Yelp
This trendy bar offers a convivial space to mix and mingle around a drink and a bite to eat. A lounge area at the front, an open kitchen space and a stretched bar give it a modern and familiar feel, perfect for meeting up with friends.
The décor, with its ceiling decorated with old wine cases and beer crates, is very funky. Not to mention that a number of exhibited images and paintings, including some of the vintage furniture, can be purchased. So if you're interested in reshuffling your home interior then be sure to take a look at the changing pieces on offer.
Drinks, which include a good list of cocktails, are very nice though a little pricey. It is a similar story for the nibbles, good but overpriced; though I'll always commend the effort in trying to use organic and bio products.
Situated across from Ixelles Town Hall, 'De Haus' is the latest venture of two young entrepreneurs that already own next door's "L'Amour Fou" and Ethiopian restaurant "KokoB" in town. This means that beside the bits and pieces on offer, you can also order burgers from next door's restaurant.
** On busy nights it can get rather loud and you might want to watch out for those peanuts, I managed to create quite a mess when taking them apart while concentrating on the World Cup game that they were screening.
