went out for a wonderful dinner here on a Friday eve. Ordered the steak special and the Crab and Shrimp Ravioli special and they were so very good. The atmosphere was relaxing and very enjoyable. And the service was impeccable. Plus we spluged for dessert! Cannoli was VERY enjoyable as was the warm apple pie w vanilla bean ice cream.This is definitely one of my favorite places for date night!

First impressions are important. I walked in and there was a very odd odor, a mix between an old place and a bathroom. The lady at the counter seemed confused as to why I was there (I was dressed in a suit, but still). She was very nice after I stated I wanted a seat for one. Looking past the odor, the ambiance was nice. The service was pretty good. The complimentary bread (only one basket is complimentary, reasonable) was good, but odd in a way. The bread and butter where both cold, so spreading it was a trick, but I got it! The main course came out very quick, almost to quick, as if it was mostly ready before I ordered, but it was good. I had the Tortellini dish. It was not the biggest portion I had ever had, but it was sufficient (maybe a little more for the price would be nice, but sufficient). I had the cannoli for dessert and it was very good. I've eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants over the years and this was one of the best cannolis I've had (top three). Overall, I think a freshening up is in order and a little less suprise when someone new enters the establishment, but the food is good. Maybe I got an off night. The local regulars seem to like it, though they were an older clientele. Give it a try, at least once!

I am in love with this little gem. Tucked away like a hidden Italian realm in the Lucky's parking lot, De La Torre's offers total welcome, total comfort, and a total lack of pretense. By the third visit everyone there knew my name and was using it. You can tell that people are at the heart of this place. There are no visible signs of technology anywhere on the dining floor. No blinking lights. No screens or QR codes—just gentle lighting and really kind REAL people. The owner herself is the person who comes to greet you at the door. As a vegetarian who doesn't like eggplant, my Italian options are extremely limited. I'm basically in it for a mushroom risotto, or for my favorite: spaghetti agilo e olio e peperoncino. Plenty of places don't have it on the menu and won't make it even if I explain it. The people at De La Torre's knew what I wanted right away. It is a deceptively simple dish with very few ingredients, and that means every part of it has to be good. This place absolutely nails it. The pasta is delicious; the olive oil is delicious; the peppers are fantastic and full of flavor. It is easy for businesses to make me feel unwanted. I'm an admittedly overly sensitive person, and I only ask to go out to dinner when I've had a rough day, so I'm always walking in upset and stressed out. Minor looks and interactions with staff members have made me feel unwanted and turned me off from many places after my first visit. Not here. I really felt like every single person liked me and wanted me there. They didn't care if I asked for something weird that wasn't on the menu, or if I had no clue about wine (except to know when I liked it), or if I asked to have my salad at the same time as my entree—they were just all wonderful human beings to be around. We have lived in Pleasanton for four years and never felt like we found our recurring date spot—this place is it. I basically plan on living at De La Torre's every time I can find a babysitter.

This place is cozy, and comforting with great food & wine. Well-decorated for Christmas, gives a festive vibe as you go in. We ordered chianti red wine, Pizza, and gnocchi everything was just perfect. Pizza crust and the way it's made in the brick oven gave an amazing taste. Loved every bite of it. It was a birthday celebration for us so we also got a Slice of chocolate cake on the house. It was sooooo good. Definitely going back there to try their other dishes on the menu.

We came in just after the dinner rush and waited a bit for someone to realize they had a customer ..? There's a big wall blocking the dining area for privacy maybe...that also blocks the front door from the staff. Weird plan. The food was fine. I had a pizza. They had some appetizer ravioli thing that was surprisingly really good. A unique appetizer. The servers were super friendly and laughed with us. It seemed like a quiet place. I think I would go back for friendly service and to try something else to better gauge the restaurant. The restaurant was empty and they sat a loud family right next to us ahha. We get it but....one table away wouldve been enough to prevent kids jumping on the seats bumping our seats.

Two years later and still very good with now having daily specials that are outstanding. Mine today was boneless quail stuffed with wildrice panroasted and served with pan gravy.

This place is a "jewel" find! Visiting the area and felt like some good Italian, but didn't feel like driving all the way back to the City. Researched several different places in the Pleasanton/Dublin area, but this one looked the most authentic. Upon entry, the place is very quaint and nicely decorated. It was interesting to learn that the restaurant has been in business for more than 25yrs (same owners)! The food, the service and the drink selection were 'par excellente' and the servers were very attentive and prompt, while providing enough 'space' to enjoy the meal and our conversation. Will definitely be coming back to this place when back in the area. Come to think of it, we'd drive all the way from SF to try out some more items on the dinner and dessert menu! Grazie mille!!

I usually order a simple dish when I order from a place I've never been to see if they screw up a simple dish. I ordered spaghetti. It's not hard to get it right. Terrible at this place! Maybe the other dishes are good, but the spaghetti was over cooked, the sauce was watery, meatballs were soft and lacked flavor on both parts. Too bad that I will not go back and face another disappointment.

Found this old school Italian resto a while back. Been in twice within a years period and will include this when searching/craving sit-down old school Italian. Very homey like going to your Nonna's house. There's even an armoire in the dining room that totally gave me the feels, since all my grandmas are no longer around. This also isn't the hip lighter style of Italian like A16 or most places in SF these days. This is heavier and more hearty type of Italian, like you'd see in the Godfather. Lol Cup of Manhattan chowder ($8ish/3*) I usually love red chowders, but this was way too thick for me. And the tomato flavor gets lost when it is that thick. But good chunks of potato and clams. Fried Raviolis ($12/4*) I think I've only had fried ravs once, so I had to revisit. I liked it. There's like a dusting of bread crumbs and the pasta is both chewy and crisp. The filling is just ricotta but goes so well with the requisite marinara that is on the side. I don't drown my bites usually, but I seriously slather this tomato sauce on each rav. And with sips of red wine, some chewy bread, I'm off to that old school Italian appetite that only a grandma could appreciate. Carafe of Chianti ($27/4*) I'm sure this is just jug wine, but more times than not a good fruity red wine is all I need with a rich meal. It was good enough for past generations, and it'll work for me too. The kicker here is that they serve it in this nicely painted ceramic pitcher that makes me feel like I'm in the countryside of Tuscany. This size is equivalent to a bottle so plenty for 2. Hanger Steak ($35ish/4*) This was on specials the first time I came here. It was a decent steak that was already sliced up. I remember killing it as we had just golfed, so can't really recall a sauce. I remember it came with a side of spaghetti in red sauce, but I'm sure you can get a potato side if you want. But how often can you get a slab of red meat with a pile of old school pasta, amirite?! Pour me another glass of wine from that pitcher, all over it. Lamb Loin Chops ($35/4*) This was on specials the most recent visit. First off it wasn't the rib chops that look like lollypops. These are the 'porterhouse' of the lamb so has more of bone to deal with. They were nice and thick and meaty, that a medium rare was easily achieved. The sauce was like a balsamic demi mix, which was just okay to me. I appreciated the fruity touch but was just too tart for me to wipe the plate clean. If I like a sauce, I will mop it up with bread or meat til it is clean. I left easily half the sauce. I like they do a seasonal veggie of the day and it is usually not just green beans or broccoli. My recent memory was chard cooked with chunks of butternut squash, which I enjoyed a lot. Went great with the mashed potatoes and the lamb. Warm Peach Cobbler ($11/3*) Ok I love a warm, cinnamon-y crisp layer with vanilla ice cream on top. That crust was more like a baked cookie type of crust versus the crumbly type with oats/nuts. It was decent with the ice cream. But the fruit filling was very small that it felt like over 50% of the cup was topping, and I just wanted more warm and tangy fruit element to balance things out. Service always great, I'm not a reg but I bet if I come in a few more times within a year, that they'd probably know my name. These aren't a bunch of college aged kids working for party/boba money. Lol So not as finesse driven but more hearty vibes. I know I have days when that calls me, and when those times come, I'll let De La Torre make the call.

This was my first time here and the food was good, but service was mediocre. My friend got the tortelloni alla panna pasta and I got the Tagiatelle bolognese and it was yummy. The bread and the butter was good too. Once we were done eating, they cleared our plates so fast and even took the bread and butter away (when there was still 3 pieces left). Besides that, the ambiance was nice with booth seatings, darker lighting, and nice decor with the wines all around. There is a large parking lot outside connected to a Lucky's.

Authentic Italian cuisine and decor. Love their wine selection as well. Ambience is classy and relaxed at the same time. Conveniently located in a shopping center that has Lucky's as well, so ample parking outside is available. Service is always quick and prompt. Came here for our Gnocchi and Affogato fix, and we got exactly what we wanted! De La Torre's never disappoints!

Was glad that we decided to try this Italian restaurant in the neighbourhood. Really enjoy the food and atmosphere this restaurant provides. The place is not very big and wasn't crowded when my family went; still the service was attentive and friendly. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs, the baked eggplant dish with polenta, pesto linguine, and the chicken Caesar salad. I really enjoyed the meatballs; it had great texture and still very juicy. The tomato sauce was very flavorful and fresh and paired well with the al dente noodles. The pesto sauce is light and has a delicate fragrance of herbs; with the freshly made pasta, every bite was satisfying! Chicken salad was also very tasty. Eggplant dish was probably our least favorite with the polenta a bit under seasoned. We were very full but we still ordered a couple of desserts to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The restaurant gave us a slice of chocolate cake in the house with a candle too! It was a very pleasant way to end the evening. Recommended if you haven't been here, especially to celebrate a special occasion!

This quaint little restaurant feels comfy and cozy. It's easy to relax here with the calming palette of colors and muted paintings of Italian style artwork. The welcoming staff also added to the comfortable ambiance and the menu variety had enough offerings to satisfy most customers. Our review is as follows: Pomodoro Bruschetta *** - I expected small crostini topped with our selection but it was a large slice of bread that was soggy with the ingredients Lasagne ***** - comfort food all the way! Bolognese ***** - delicious creamy tomato-based sauce. It was just enough that it left me begging for more

One of the better Italian restaurants in the area! Not too crowded and service is amazing. Sea bass is a must! You HAVE TO HAVE ALL of the desserts. Cannoli is 10/10 and affogato was perfect. The toffee butter cake is addicting!

We ordered chicken masala and Mary's half chicken.. Food was amazing and perfectly seasoned.. Tried their famous toffee cake, but was not impressed, it felt like it was just taken out of freezer and not even properly thawed.. Service was decent..

I went before and food was great! I went back recently and maybe change of cook. The food was not enjoyable at all. The staff was nice but otherwise wayyyy overpriced for the taste of the food.

Service is excellent. From the confirmation of the reservation, the greeting, the food service and attention to our comfort and all the details. The food is excellent! Ingredients tasted fresh, vibrant and homemade. We celebrated a birthday and they allowed us to bring a cake and they cut and served it without an extra fee. This was so generous. The whole vibe feels like you're being served and cared for in a cozy friendly home. I'll be back and will tell all my friends.

I've been to De La Tore many times in the past. The service as always was outstanding. The wait staff was very attentive. The food was disappointing. I had the lamb and my friend had the steak. Although I asked that the lamb be medium rare it was dry. There was too much Parmesan crust on the top, which I had to scrape off as it made the meat seem even drier. As a side I was given mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. I really like the brussels sprouts but there were only three on my plate. My friend had eight on her plate. We both had mashed potatoes. They looked like they been served with an ice cream scoop. I thought they tasted faintly as though they had instant mashed potatoes mixed into them. They were neither buttery nor creamy in flavor. Although it was about 7 o'clock, the potatoes tasted and seemed like they've been sitting around in a pot all day. I couldn't take more than a couple of bites. My friend had the steak and she said it was tough. She did say that the reduction sauce with it was very good. De La Tore has been a favorite of several of my friends and it seems like we go there at least once every six months.

Italian spot for lunch in downtown Pleasanton. I can't hear during lunch with my coworkers and we lucked out with an open table. The restaurant itself is small so seating can be tight and limited if busy. The menu has options for everyone. I opted for the pan roasted chicken with spinach. It was not what I expected. I was a bit underwhelmed.the chicken was very bland with no flavor. Service was ok.

Food is always an amazing culinary experience but the quality of customer service has gone down... I've been a bit disappointed the last 3 times i've dined here... Still a local staple for good Italian food and I love to support this local business but service has waned fragmentally...

Came here for dinner on a Friday night as a walk in. We were able to be get seated within 5 - 10 minutes which was nice. The waitress was nice as well and gave us some good recommendations. The ambiance was okay. Good amount of seating. I was not too impressed with the food. We ordered the clam chowder as an appetizer, Chilean sea bass with angel hair pasta, and fresh pappardelle pasta with short ribs. The clam chowder flavor was okay but there were barely any clams in it. I love me a clammy clam chowder. The fresh pappardelle pasta was not cooked all the way. Some of the noodles were still stuck together and hard. I like my noodles al dente but this wasn't it. The meat was nice and tender. I enjoyed the Chilean sea bass. The angel hair pasta didn't have much flavor. I wish it had more of a complimenting cream sauce.

I still cant believe I've lived in the tri-valley for five years before I tried this place. Best Italian food in this area. I've been here a few times now, and I've had the ziti w/meat sauce and the tagliatelle w/bolognese. Both were delicious. I'm kinda glad they DON'T have a bar here. Ask for Lee, she'll take care of you.

This hidden gem! Our waiter was just amazing. Old Italian ambiance. The food was homemade and great! We will definitely be back next time we come to Pleasanton.

This is its third or fourth visit here and I'm seriously disappointed. I ordered a veil parmigiana and it tasted awful why I didn't complain. I don't know because I'm sure the staff would have happily would given me a new dish. But unfortunately I was talking with my friends and wasn't paying attention. Staff is very nice. Restaurants very attractive. Restrooms are very clean

De La Torre's is one of our favorite local Italian restaurant. When I think of Italian, De La Torre's crosses my mind as pure Italian comfort food. Service is always friendly. Wednesday evening we went there to get a pasta entrée. We ended up selecting the baked Ziti. From the menu baked ziti is: "Sicilian sausage, tomato sauce, roasted peppers, onions, mozzarella." This is a nice alternative to lasagne which they also have. Tonight we started with a special mushroom soup which is probably the best mushroom soup we have had recently. It had several herbs that excellently flavored the soup. We then moved on to the Carciofi Fritti: "Baby artichokes crisp fried, herb aioli." This crispy Parmesan dusted fried artichoke appetizer makes a great addition to our dinner. We go there so often I must have just assumed I reviewed this place before. Next time we go I will need to get some pictures. We strongly recommend you give De La Torre's a try. My thanks to the owners for making this small business a great place to go for dinner.

We ate here yesterday and it was fantastic!! Pepe, our server, was incredible with light hearted banter and jokes and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered the bolognese, calamari, small pepperoni pizza and spaghetti meatballs and all items were a solid 5/5! Even the complimentary bread basket was amazing! The interiors gave a true feel of a rustic and authentic Italian restaurant with beautiful tapestries and comfortable seating. Huge shoutout to this 34 year old family run business. There is most certainly a reason you have been around this long and even stay a float. I will 1000000% be coming back

Still loving this place. It's close to our home, and the food is consistently good. Their pizza is like no other that I've had. Their special menu always has something to offer. My kids love coming here. I had the stromboli this time, and it was great. It's good to dine in occasionally. We often get the family meal deal to-go, which is greatness in and of itself.

3.5 stars. I came here on a Wednesday night and there was a few other parties in the restaurant. We got seated right away and after ordering, the food came out super quickly. The service was awesome, the waitress constantly checked up on us to see if we needed anything else and was very friendly. Spaghettini 3.5/5: the portion was huge and can be easily split into two meals. The noodles were cooked Al dente and the sauce was flavorful. The meatballs had good flavor but it was little too soft for my liking. Warm gooey toffee cake 3/5: this is a nice sweet treat to end the meal. It was tasty but nothing to rave about. The complimentary bread was good, it tasted like herbs. It would be better if it was warmed up! Overall, a cute little date night spot with friendly service.

Given this place few tries. Great on paper but every time we go there we are disappointed. Mediocre food. Staff was good and service is decent and average ambiance. We don't live too far from this place and were hoping for this place to be good. Not going back again...

We had a good dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. My husband ordered the lasagna and I had the tortellini plus the Misti salad. Service was ok, a little bit on the slow side. My pasta was good but the simple sauce lacked something. Maybe it was because they were packed on a Wednesday night.

We met our friends at De La Torres's for dinner prior to going to Tommy T's for a comedy show since it's fairly close. We never been here. Very first impression was, it's packed!! Second was this is a very nice little cozy restaurant. Gave us a very warm and welcoming feeling. Bread & butter was tasty, fresh and warm. My wife got a tortellini dish, I got a calzone. Our friends ordered Caesar's with grilled chicken & Bolognese. Everything was delicious! We would have ordered the desert which our friends said is insanely good, but we were running short on time. Next time. I highly recommend this place.

The food was surprisingly average starting with the pizza ultima which was overcooked and felt like eating large crackers, too the special peach salad which had tasteless peaches with little to no dressing.. really surprising.. We had the poached halibut in parchment and again disappointing with the fish overcooked and lack of original flavor.. we had two bottles of different chianti classico's and both tasted as though they were on the verge of turning which tells me they do not sell/turn their nicer wines.. overall a C-..

Had dinner at this place last night (10/26) and was less than impressed with the meal and the waitress. I ordered the baked ziti and it had so many green bell peppers, red bell pepper, and onions....totally over powered the taste of the dish. My wife had the Tortelloni alla Panna which had not taste what so ever. Very bland unless you had some prosciutto in your mouth. Very disappointing. Our server, Shelby, made us feel like she had more important things to do than wait on our table. Not a great experience at this restaurant, and this was our first time there. It will be a long while to give this restaurant another try. We will give it another try since some friends of our really like this place.

Have been looking for an authentic Italian place where I can get a good meatball dinner, it's amazing how many so called Italian restaurants can't even get that right. But by sheer luck I found this little gem on the map. Eating here is like going to mom's for dinner and the wait staff is delightful. They bake their own bread and that alone is worth going there. We were happy with our dinners but the Cesar salad is quite an authentic experience. The proprietor has created a very cozy dining room decorated in the right theme. I look forward to going back.

We had a group of 8 for dinner at De La Torre's last night and everyone thought their food and service were spectacular. We had the calamari appetizer, Caesar salads, lasagne, pancetta wrapped shrimp with fresh figs and Gorgonzola (daily special), shrimp scampi, truffle risotto, grilled salmon and other tasty entrees. (I love going to a restaurant when you never have to ask to have your water filled and where the waiter never complains about providing split checks for large parties! Since there is no mandatory 18-20% gratuity, we always tip generously.) The affogato and chocolate raspberry crème brûlée desserts were a real sweet ending to our relaxing and very enjoyable evening. All of our guests can't wait to come back to try more dishes!

I love this place, it is known as pleasanton best kept secret!! The ambiance is so quaint and cute. The service is very professional, and the food is so fresh and amazing!!! You can tell they use fresh produce. I ordered the Tortellini alla panna - Tortellini with Cream Sauce. This was the best Italian dish I have ever eaten. The stuffed pasta was so delicious the cream was fluffy and light very, very tasty. Everyone at our table commented on how delicious, fresh and yummy there food was. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend!!!

We've been aware of the presence of Dela Torres in Pleasanton's dining scene for quite some time, however, we are not quite sure why it's taken us so many years to finally give it a try. And boy have we been missing out of such wholesome authentic Italian cuisine! The restaurant is located in a very unassuming location within a strip mall anchored by a Lucky's Supermarket. Upon entering, you immediately felt wished away into the kitchen of a countryside Italian kitchen. There is a sort of hominess to the decor and lighting that contributes to the authentic ambiance. Even the restrooms had that home touch, something uncharacteristic of most dining establishments. We were immediately greeted by a young gentleman who seated us promptly despite not having reservations made during the dinner hour on midweek day. I've been told that reservations are typically required. Their menu selection is quite extensive on top of an also very expansive daily menu special. Our waiter and other wait staff were very attentive in taking our order, refilling our waters and checking in on us throughout our meal. Even the owner stopped by at the end of our meal to check in on us, help clear our table, and offered the dessert menu for us. We ordered the lasagna and eggplant dish, both of which were terrific. Flavors were perfectly cured and presented nicely. The only area to critique was the lack of freshly grated parmesan. Instead, they serve pre-grated parmesan in a container for you to self scoop onto your dish. Prices are reasonable given the high quality of the food and service levels provided. This is a definite go-to spot for anyone who lives in town or in and around the Tri Valley.

We went to Saturday 7pm and the restaurant was busy. Four of us shared Calamari and Baby artichoke fritters, and Primavera Salad (delicious and served in separate plates). They were all good. All of us had seafood pasta Linguine alla Marinara, Capellini with Jumbo Prawns, and Gamberoni Saltate. Seafood properly cooked and sauce was very tasty. Serving is pretty big and none of us could finish all the noodles. Wine list included both Nor Cal and Italian wine and we had Husch Chenin Blanc and Sangiovese. They were perfect with the food. It was my birthday dinner and they brought chocolate cake complementary. It was the best I tasted for a long time. We will go back.

Came in on a Monday evening to celebrate my wife's birthday, haven't been here in quite a few years. Service 4 stars - our server was attentive and pleasant Food 4 stars - we started with the Pizze Tartufo, Fior di latte mozzarella, mushrooms, roast garlic, arugula, crushed, pepperoncino, shaved parmesan, white truffle oil drizzle. perfecto!!! crispy thin crust, hint of sourdough (which I love), 5+ stars - wife had the Tortelloni alla Panna, Meat-filled pasta tossed with cream, prosciutto, parmesan. seemed that it was frozen as the pasta dough was a bit firm/tough, but the filling was fine. sauce is 5 starts but 3 stars for the texture of the dough - i had the veal, 5+ stars!!! plenty of veal cutlets, full of mushrooms and tasty sauce. Ambiance - 4 stars, had a nice booth, but you can see the front door and guests coming in to do their take out orders. not a big distraction, but it's a beautiful dinning room on the romantic side, could be nice if they put up a barrier to isolate the dinning room Price - 4 stars, very reasonable and a neighborhood gem. the 1 star off is in consideration of the tortellini review. Overall 4.5 stars, so rounding down to 4. We'll be back for sure!!!

I'm dying for some Alfredo and I didn't see it on their menu but when I asked the server, she said that they have it in the back and they were able to make it!

This is the third time I've been here and I can easily say this is my favorite Italian restaurant! The service here is excellent and the ambiance Okay now, the FLAVOR.... Stop. I'm usually a picky eater but I've thankfully ordered something different each time, and I loved everything! This time we ordered bruschetta, piccata chicken with pasta, and ravioli. 10/10

We stopped by for lunch close to closing time and were still given top service. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Tagliatelle Bolognese. There was nothing basic about this dish. It was full of flavor! The hubby had the ziti and said it was hella good, despite Italian not being his favorite cuisine. We'd both come back and we're interested in trying the calzones and pizza next time. highly recommend. Very traditional, cozy and clean space, can't wait to bring Dad!

This place was a true hidden gem, it really reminded us of our trip to Venice italy so it was a nice surprise. I brought my wife here for her birthday and our food was so good, Beto our waiter was good and he kept checking on us. I would definitely come here again. They even brought her a birthday cake at the end with a lit candle. This place is definitely a 5. No complaints.

Always a delicious meal with a fabulous Hospitable atmosphere! We had calamari, fresh lasagne and the salmon entree. We love coming to De La Torre's!

the food is very solid! the only criticism i would give is that the pesto pasta was a little bland, but maybe that's how it's supposed to taste. get the calamari.

This place is our go to for good Italian cuisine. Food are so delicious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

We came by today to enjoy a nice family dinner, this is our third time coming. I have never been a fan of Italian cuisine but we come mainly for my son whose favorite has always been Italian. We were greeted by a very rude hostess who told another greeter very curtly to have us seated. However she was very friendly with the next party of two women that came in, that belonged to another ethnicity. I did not have any complaints about the servers, they were nice and pleasant. I did not like the pesto pasta chicken that was served, the sauce was very oily and the chicken tasted weird, I left more than half of my pasta. The calamari and pudding was good, everyone else enjoyed their food. The ambiance was okay. I could still try different dishes and still come once again, for a better respectable service, and only for my son.

This review is 3.75 stars. Came here with a group of friends for a birthday. Almost none of us had been here before so we didn't know what to expect. It's a small Italian restaurant tucked away in a Lucky's shopping center. Upon walk in, it's a lovely cozy space where you feel a little bit like you've walked into old world Italy or an Italian grandmother's dining space. There were quite a few diners when we arrived and it became packed by the time we left. I ordered Linguine alla Marinara. It was flavorful and had quite a few pieces of shrimp and scallops. I tried a couple bites from friends plates and their meals were also delicious. One friend who ordered ravioli did say she didn't feel full as there weren't many ravioli's for the price she was paying. I did think my meal had a generous portion. The bread basket kept coming upon our request so that was nice. I think I would have enjoyed the bread more of it had been warm as if freshly baked but it was room temperature. Small detail, but there is something delish about freshly warm baked bread. When the waiter came back to the table to ask about dessert (we had other plans) we all a said no. But he continued to proceed to point to me saying he knows I'd like to order dessert even after I had along with my friends collectively said NO! I'm just going to take it down as a joke but being one of the larger ladies there, I didn't appreciate his target saying I did when I had clearly said no. Also, we tried to take selfies of our group together but we were too big of a group to get everyone in so we asked a waiter (as one often does) if he could take one for us. The waiter walking by snapped at us saying he is super busy so no. Hmmm... totally understand but he could have more gently said "I'm super busy at the moment but let me serve these people and I'll be right back". So, bottom line of this review is that the food was great but the wait staff needs to have less machismo and bit more kindness and friendliness. No need for rudeness! Life is too short!

Not a friendly place!. We really wanted to try this restaurant, but walked away because the hostess was not too welcoming. So we went to next door, the Malaysian Curry leaves and very happy. We heard this place has changed owner(?)

We had dinner here on a Friday evening. It was really nice out so we chose to sit outside with our dog. The vibe was really nice! Pepe was our waiter, but everyone we interacted with there (front of house, assistant/busser, manager) was so friendly. Pepe was a really great waiter and we enjoyed talking to him a bit! The food was all really good - the only small con is the chicken in my linguine was on the dry side, but everything else made up for that. The pasta was so fresh and flavorful and I'd say the desserts are a must-try. The toffee butter cake was sweet but oh, so good as was the spumoni. Ahh, I'm already ready to go back!

Visit weekly while I'm in town for work and always amazed! I order to go and it's still divine! Based on viewing the popularity, I'd recommend reservations for dining in!
