"At this veritable treasure chest, black walls highlight cabinets chock full of objects chosen solely for their beauty, whether they be modern French ceramics from Tse et Tse, rare jewels, or 15th-century religious effigies. It's all the work of owner Federico de Vera who travels around the globe hand-picking and then arranging every single item for his two Manhattan stores. Nothing comes with a label, but should you want the backstory on any object, the staff are expert antiquarians and design connoisseurs."

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say this is the best shop in all of New York City. The perfect combination of museum quality objects and handmade objects and vintage objects-that can be bought. Each display case is extremely special and beautifully laid out. Make the trek over here because it’s one of the most unique things about the city. Very welcoming atmosphere to browse.

What a quirky little place full of New York's cultural artifacts; not unlike an upscale version of the City Reliquary, but one at which you can buy things.
