This restaurant seriously deserves the Bib Gourmand and makes dining out an experience to remember. The service was wonderful. They were attentive and very friendly, and the food was excellent, which made our evening just that extra bit more special. Thanks for helping to make this a memorable evening!

As always very good. After a 10 km walk on the lemelerberg we had a light lunch. French fries, pata negra ham, Dutch cheese platter and a glas of white wine. Excellent as always.

We wanted to try out this place but we were quite disappointed for the price that we paid. The starters were nice. However, the service was slow (more than 45 min wait between starter and main), the lobster dry, lukewarm, with a sauce that did not match (we complained after finishing the labster, our mistake, they had no chance to do something about it). We did not get a drink that we ordered. They also left an open bottle of wine for some time unattended on the table (we only ordered one glass). After asking "why" they told us it was so that we could read the label, which seems inappropriate to us in terms of quality control. Staff was friendly but there seemed to be more guests than the restaurant could handle.

More than great food. Prepared with attention for detail. Food allergies no problem. Dogs no problem. Not cheap, but very good value for money. Staff is very attentive. Good wines. Lovely atmosphere. It's a 90 minute drive from home, but we keep coming back twice every year or so.

We were invited by friends to this restaurant. De witte gans is aan extremely good restaurant. We eat a 5 course dinner and enjoyed the whole evening in a perfect atmosphere. We will definitely visit it more often.

I found this restaurant via the Michelin guide. In 25 years, this is one of the few poor experiences I have had using it. We went out to celebrate my son's university diploma. Since our 9 year old was not having an appetizer, I asked if he could get his steak as soon as possible -- even before our appetizers were served. Forty-five minutes later -- long after the appetizers -- I asked about the steak. The reply was: "I leave these things to the authority of the chef, and he decided that it would be better to serve all the main dishes together." Even if, for some reason, it was not possible to serve the one meal earlier, at an absolute minimum he should have let us know. We would have skipped the appetizers in order to let our tired and hungry kid get his meal earlier. The reply to my complaint was arrogant, as if I should be impressed by a restaurant that "leaves these matters to the chef." Regarding the food, it was good. Nothing special for a Michelin Guide restaurant, but good.
