This is as good as dining gets. Five of us had the Tasting Menu, and two had the matched wines. Everything worked, plus one of our party, could not eat shellfish, and the replacement was brilliant. Staff were wonderful, not pushy, not superier just service when you wanted it. Good speed through the eight courses. Cannont compliment the staff (and owners enough). Chef was pretty wonderful as well. Thanks.

Fantastic lunch - the best I have experienced in years! Beautifully restored bank tastefully decorated for Christmas. Reasonable cost for the high quality meal. Had the 3 course lunch. Just excellent!

Had an amazing meal at Deacon's Bank tonight. Took the train out from Hazel Grove and it was really easy to get to, despite the snow! The restaurant has a really lovely interior, with a cosy feel. The food was absolutely amazing, we did the tasting menu and every course was inventive and delicious, with all dishes explained well by our waitress. The waitress (i didn't get her name) was so friendly and welcoming - her French Martini was incredible! Absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and the hosting, will definitely be back.

Superb Sunday lunch. Perfect food, beautifully prepared and presented. Not overly expensive given quality of food. Bit quiet late on Sunday afternoon but that's not surprising perhaps. Minor quibble - it was a little on the cool side but then it was -2 outside. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely experience at Deacons bank. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was delicious and honestly such an experience. I would say very fairly priced considering you get top class food and service. I would highly recommend and certainly will be going there again.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the friendly, accommodating and noticeably seamless service to the incredible food- it deserves every accolade it has. Every dish was imaginative, beautifully and creatively presented and the flavours were well thought out. The drinks are also excellent. Genuinely brilliant meal, wouldn’t be surprised if it got a Michelin star one day.

This is my second visit to Deacons Bank on yet another cold day in Chapel. I had the privilege of having a nice coffee and a warm-up thanks to the wood burner. This is a very smart venue with a nice relaxed atmosphere and the service is first class. This also doubles up as a fully licensed evening venue. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Chapel.

We were recommended Deacons Bank by a friend. We had the tasting menu near the chef’s kitchen. It was a great experience. Friendly chat with everyone around made us feel very welcome. To see the food prepared in front of our eyes made us realise how much work goes into preparing these dishes. Everything that we ate had amazing flavours but the salt cod, smoked mussels etc was the piece de resistance! To find a venue like this in Chapel en le Frith is amazing. We’ll certainly return and recommend it to our friends.
