One of the dopest places I’ve ever set foot in. Last night was a literal dream. So happy to have traveled through torrential rain and make it to this wonderland. Epic music vibes and beautiful people. Just hope my bag is still there lol left by mistake in the coat check. Headed back today praying it’s still there :) also it has dumplings which were banginnnnnn

I wandered into Dead Letter No. 9 while waiting for my friend’s band to start playing a few blocks away. A jazz band was setting up as I entered. I went to the bar and saw that they have a happy hour until 8pm on several days of the week, and that it was 7:30pm! I ordered a Brooklyn Brewing Pilsner for $5, though I think the size was around ~12oz instead of a full pint (though it might be an optical illusion). The performance area had a DJ booth, lighting, and was backed by what looked almost like a library. The bar area extended quite far to the side of this, with additional seating, a projector with skateboard videos playing, and even a small restaurant with its own partitioned seating and ordering area. I only had the beer, but the space was really creatively designed, and the band that was playing was great. It seems like a pretty good spot for happy hour—drinks are super affordable and the vibes are relaxed while still being elevated.

Had the best time at DLN9. The people who work here clearly love their jobs. The bartenders made the best gin-based cocktails. I was hooked and had to limit myself to two. Also, I had the ribs and wings; both dishes were delicious and juicy, and I ordered everything well done. I prefer the back room for dancing because the music is loud and everyone is just full of energy. Great door staff and coat check was very organized.

Walking into Dead Letter feels like stepping out of Brooklyn and into another world. The space used to be a dead letter facility and now it’s broken up into all these different rooms. One looks like a camper under the stars, another like a treehouse, another like a porch in the mountains. Every corner feels like a set from a dream and it’s built for hanging out, talking, and just being present. The music fits the vibe perfectly. In some rooms it’s softer and more chill, in others it builds into something you can move to. When you head into Cargo in the back it flips into a real party with DJs and energy. The drinks are strong and thoughtful. Nothing feels gimmicky. My favorite part though was the service. Sarah behind the bar was incredible. Super friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and made the whole night better just by being welcoming. Overall Dead Letter isn’t just another cocktail spot in Williamsburg. It’s an experience. The design, the music, the drinks, and the people all come together to create something different. I’d easily recommend it to anyone looking for a night that’s more than just going out for a round.

Coolest bar in Williamsburg, Jesse was great and the drinks were amazing. There are a bunch of different rooms, each with its own unique vibe for getting some drinks.

Jesse told me a lot about This bar is absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, the energy and atmosphere were on point. The staff really took the time to give me a full rundown of the place and explain the pace of the night and how people truly enjoy the experience here. You can tell they care about creating a great environment, not just serving drinks. I’m having an incredible time and will definitely be back!

This place is a vibe for sure I will tell you that! one thing I will mention is apparently there are multiple rooms in this space, something I didn't know until I left. However my experience with the back room where I was, was such a good time. Dj was controlling the room amazingly and while it can get little bit crowded, everyone was vibing to the beats. The decorations of the Hall and style were also great. I will be back for sure to vibe again and discover the other Rooms.

Welcome to one of the most unique bar you'll ever enter. The details and design of this space is impeccable with multiple immersive rooms for you to explore and hang out. In the front is a bar with a lounge space where the DJ is spinning. There's packages along the walls and letters in cubbies keeping the theme of a postal office where dead letters end up. We ordered a cocktail before going to explore, but they also have pop-up bars throughout the space as well. You can hang out in a cabin porch or treehouse with bunk beds and all. There's also a room lit with stars and a vintage RV to sit inside as well. It really transports you to another realm as if you're actually outside in nature. There's so many knick knacks spread throughout that it really feels like you're in someone's home. They even have a free camera that prints your photo on a black and white receipt --too fun! Almost want to gatekeep this spot because it's just so unique and special. Recommend coming early to avoid lines as it got crowded when we left at 9:30pm on a Saturday night.

I loveeeeed this place. The drink that they gave me was literally the best one I've had in a really long time. It was such a creative concept and super repeatable experience in my opinion. The security guard was so kind and the overall vibe was very interesting and stimulating to me.

I loved the red hue all throughout. Upon entering, there is a bar area and then open seating. There was a beautiful ambience and it gets really lively the later it gets. Additionally, I believe there are four habitat or rooms which can totally immerse you into that particular atmosphere. I particularly liked The RV campsite and the log cabin rooms. The drinks were amazing. Overall, it was a nice vibe and the service was great. I would definitely go again.
