We had a fantastic experience at this location! Ample street parking makes it convenient to visit, and outside there's a striking large metal gate along with a walk-in gate that displays the hours. The metalwork on the exterior is very cool and eye-catching. There are some curving ramps with metal work leading to the second floor, adding to the unique architectural aesthetic. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated in the bar area. We explored the back room, which is even more impressive and definitely worth considering if you're looking for a cooler, more spacious setting. We enjoyed flights of beers with a great selection—although most of the beers leaned a bit sweeter, each was crafted with thoughtful flavor and attention to detail. The French onion soup was excellent—one of the best we've had. The staff was simply incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We also learned they are expanding the inside, which will significantly increase the size of the space and enhance the overall experience. So glad we found this spot! We’re looking forward to returning and enjoying everything it has to offer.

Great beers, great atmosphere, excellent food. Esperanza is an amazing bartender and went out of her way to help us plan our trip. She was knowledgeable and very friendly to tourists looking for a fun time for their first time in El Paso. If you are visiting and looking for quality beer this is the place for you. Allie is an amazing hostess who went out of her way to make sure we had a quality dining experience from the moment we walked in the door. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great atmosphere and delicious beer.

Google
Esperanza was an excellent host!!! Super friendly and we discussed every beer I tried. She even gave me recommendations for activities while I’m in from out of state. The atmosphere was amazing and the beers even more so. Would make a trip back to El Paso just for this brewery! My favorite beers were the Brown Bonnie and the Stay Golden with the DB IPA close behind.

Google
Awesome place great atmosphere and music. Especially great beer 🍺 my server Andrea is the best. Recommend anyone in El Paso or visiting to come and try their beers plus food options. I love the Mac N Cheese with smoked pulled pork. I love the Irish, IPA, Dead Beach Lager and Abela Stout, but current favorite is the Chela. Great beer for the summer heat.

Google
1st time to the new location and they did an awesome job designing it. Staff was friendly, food was pretty stellar. Got the OG to start, has pretzel bites with a beer chile con quest, beer battered fried pickles and house made ranch. Honestly I would have been good just eating that. Was so good. Wife got the Durazno Dog and that thing was loaded up. She loved it, had a lot of flavor. I got the what-what burger and it was one of the best smash burgers I've had. Smashed and crispy, Salted right, had green chile, caramelized onions, Chipotle aioli. Get the Sancho fries! Initially went for brunch and got lunch items instead, but try their lattes and Affogato.

Google
Outstanding brewery with great food! We had a range of beer and got to sample a few others. The apps are solid and the menu is diverse. Taproom is good sized and you can even sit in the brewing room. Esperanza, our server, was very knowledgeable about their beer and menu. Would definitely come back!

Google
Service was really good. Food was very well seasoned (had the cheesesteak with sancho fries). Room we were in was a bit hot, but the waitress took care of it and got someone to adjust the AC right away. Beer was solid and they offer a varied selection. Definitely coming again.

Google
Great bunch spot I got the eggs Benedict with the bacon and I came with diced potato’s . Had a mazapán latte and the must grab Toma chuco red beer. The red beer is a must have if your hung over or just wanting to get a refreshing red beer.

Yelp
I love that this brewery has coffee and matcha! We had a party of 6 and were seated right away. They have lots of bar seating and table seating. We're from California and I'm not sure if we're not used to Texas seasoning but most of our dishes tasted spicy. The kabobs dish and the deadbeach mac n cheese had too much spice for our liking. Our fries were also cold.

Yelp
As we continue our trip back home we stopped to hit a brewery or two. Deadbeach in El Paso, not too far off the interstate and well worth the stop. I'm not sure how long this place has been open but everything looks very new and such a comfortable place to hang for some good local brews and a very tasty menu. My apologies for not taking a picture of the Aztec Soup, it's a cross between a pozole and your mom's favorite soups recipe. Absolutely delicious! The beers, we tried their stout and their IPA, both very tasty. Street parking, huge seating area if needed, very cozy bar and really great service. Driving by, give Deadbeach Brewery a try.

Yelp
The beer was good and the brewery was pretty nice. We were a group of five and had no problem finding a place to chat and hang while we tasted the beers. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was cool to hang out with all of the cans that were stacked from floor to ceiling. There was art and sculptures made from metal objects. The iron fencing was very cool and decorative.

Yelp
Ok soooo this was my first time coming here with some friends and I felt slightly boujee. Yes this place is most definitely Mexican hipster type of vibes. The inside was really nice and clean. Since we came during the day a few sections inside the brewery were closed off and the bar was full of people (which is where we wanted to sit at) but anyway we all sat at a table and it was nice. Our waitress was super awesome she informed us when a spot at the bar would open up for us AND she recommended some good food on the menu. Ok so this isn't your usual Mexican restaurant... everything is slightly upscale fancy. And the brew they have was GREAT!!! Make sure to get a flight so you can try out more than just one. I'll definitely be coming back again for some pozole. Enjoy my pics :)

Yelp
I had a great time at this place. We tried a beer flight and all the beers were cold and crisp. We also ordered the shrimp and chorizo crostini, which were delicious. The server was very attentive and friendly. Although we originally just stopped by to check out the place, we plan to return with friends and hopefully take a brewery tour.

Yelp
Excellent find. Great food and service. This place is beautiful and very clean. Overall great spot for a drink and a good snack. Offers brunch as well. Plates are large and the beer menu is plentiful.

Yelp
Passing through El Paso, found this dog friendly brewery that has food. Food is absolutely terrible, we only ordered a salad and a bowl of Aztec soup. Salad didn't taste fresh, wilted leaves. The soup was sooooo salty, omg, want high blood pressure? And that cornbread was under cooked and goopy. My husband ended up with diarrhea all night and all morning. Beer is just ok, not the best IPA

Yelp
First time here and it was an okay experience. Environment: Place is visually nice but the vibe is kind of weird. You walk in and it honestly feels like the "Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger" ride at Six Flags because it has a steam punk vibe. When you walk in, there is hostess waiting for you and escort you to a seat, so it is more of a restaurant vibe than a brewery vibe. Food: Only tried the truffle fries and they were okay. Drinks: I was pretty disappointed with the beer but I'm also from Austin Texas where the craft beer game is STRONG. I am happy that El Paso is finally getting a bigger craft beer scene so though. Staff: super friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We hosted an event here for my organization, but I don't think I'd ever come back. The food is definitely just regular old bar food. Tasted like it was a few hours old. The service was just okay. Nothing to write home about. And the place was kinda crowded, we were just outside with no where to sit. Don't know if I'd give this place another chance.

Yelp
First time in El Paso and happened to stumble on this as we got into town! It's in a strange area (very industrial) but then bam! It's there. The food was great and the portions were huge. The service was decent. Lots of decent beers to choose from. They mentioned you could walk around and look at the brewing equipment but I didn't take them up on the offer. Definitely a good El Paso find.

Emma R.

Yelp
Beer: 5/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Could benefit: college football Would give: 3.5 if possible Server was friendly and quick! The OG was delish and shareable. Beer also good. Kind of out of the way for us, but would possibly come again.

Carissa K.

Yelp
OMG the new dead beach is amazing! It is so awesome to have such a great restaurant and brewery right here in El Paso. The service and the food have been exceptional every time! The atmosphere and decor make it such a cool spot to enjoy!

Yelp
Checking out the new location. It's beautiful! Tried the beermosa with chuco and grapefruit. Not too heavy. Pretty refreshing. I ordered the what what burger. That burger is thick. Next time, i am definitely trying the turkey grilled cheese. I can't wait to see all the fun things this new location is going to offer this spring/ summer.

Yelp
Love the decor of this brewery. Staff is great. And the food was good. Looking forward to coming back. Great craft beer! A must try.

Yelp
I like this place. A group of my friends and I usually get together at the end of the week for long lunches. They have a great beer selection all of it IP and they make really good root beer. I haven't tried much of the food menu except for the soups and they are OK. I did try the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken added as protein and that was really good but I had to add red pepper flakes to spice it up. overall this is a good place to come And blow off steam. The brewery itself is truly amazing and worth the trip. And if you don't drink alcohol for lunch or dinner, the root beer is worth it.

Yelp
We met at DB to celebrate a family member's birthday. Now we've been here a few time and the food was good. The mistake may have been going early on a Wednesday. Although, time of day should not dictate the quality of the food. The tortilla soup was a bowl packed with tortilla strips in a bit of sweet tasting broth and the usual smattering of avocado. More like soaked tortilla strips than soup. It didn't look appetizing and didnt taste good. The real let down was the Vormonster. The brat was charred hard, not grilled, not even burned, charred. The hash had a black liquid ring around it, either from the brat or it was burned. The french toast biscuits were hard and the bottoms were black. The egg was edible, just an egg. So disappointed. The other entrees? Chilaquiles orders were good. Benedict was ok after soaking in the sauce. On a high note, the coffee was fantastic.

Yelp
The name fits, when we walked in that is what greeted us, a dead beach. Well it wasn't even a greeting. Tatted lady at front did not say hi, almost seemed annoyed we walked in. It was our first time there, we didn't know if we should seat ourselves or what, she gave us no clue and we stood there all wtf until I asked and she finally acknowledged us. Guess she was a waitress, and didn't want to smile or greet customers that walked in, let's give her benefit of doubt, maybe she was counting change and didn't want to be interrupted? No idea here. A few minutes later someone else much friendlier came out and greeted + seated us. Ok here we go, It is a huge and very nice brewery, super clean place and quite modern but unfortunately my experience here was not great. This place is better for corporate parties, a family dinner or a graduation. This place has zero vibe, staff doesn't engage you and they sat us far away from the bar so we felt isolated in that dimly lit back room. The beers were wack to me, tried several and liked none, either too sweet or too malty. Blech. Barely finished one beer. YMMV. Food wise looks like they do a good job, the food plates I saw looked bangin' however I only had an appetizer as we wanted to gtfo there asap after that cold unfriendly welcome at the front. The app was indeed good and the waitress (not tattoo lady) we had for our table was ok, friendly but she seemed overwhelmed, it took forever for our initial beers to come out and the place wasn't packed at all. Overall this place was a total disappointment. Wont be back primarily cuz of that rude 1st impression when my group walked in, visiting this place was my idea and you let my group down big time, fckn embarrassing man. Always say hi and Smile at your customers instead of making them feel unwelcome. Definitely felt unwelcome here. Again, the name fits. 2 star because it is a very nice brewery that's it. Nothing more.

Laurence F.

Yelp
To start, four of us split "The OG", which was pretzel bites and battered and fried pickle slices. The initial bite of each pretzel and pickle tasted a bit offputting. I'm not sure what it was, but it wasn't great. I wouldn't order that again. Then I had an All-American Burger (2 smash patties, American cheese, LTOP) which was as advertised and pretty good, except that the bun was overcooked and charred. It shouldn't have left the kitchen like that. Still, I can't fault DeadBeach's burger game. The shoestring fries that came with the burger were room temp. I bet they'd have been good when they were freshly fried, but we were the only people there on a Tuesday night at 6 pm, so who knows when that was. We all liked the beer--I drank their IPA. Service was fine. Our server was timely with drinks and food and checked in on us without being overbearing. I'd come back for a beer or 2 and I wouldn't hesitate to order a burger (with a side other than fries), but probably wouldn't order anything fried. The menu seems overly broad and like it would be hard to turn over food frequently enough when, as I mentioned, the place was empty. That being said, they scored 100 out of 100 on their health inspection, and that's something you rarely see. A solid 3 stars.

Yelp
It's been on my list to explore DeadBeach Brewery's actual brick-and-mortar after enjoying their beers for so long around town at Tin Man. Don't let the essence of it being downtown scare you away from visiting as they have a dedicated parking lot adjacent to their outdoor patio! Entrance is a little confusing as a first timer, but upon leaving you can basically walk in through the patio or indoor tasting room. The team here is pretty laid back about you sampling their various beers which was super nice. What really stood out to me was their servers bringing tasters outside to your table which was clutch. Their outdoor patio is serviced and their servers take care of you so no need to keep going back and forth on beer orders. I enjoyed their signature IPA and their signature sour. I was in love with their sour which was properly named Heartbreaker. So refreshing and great for the heat. The outdoor patio has plenty of shaded tables and it's also family friendly.

Yelp
Great tasting food but I'm not impressed with their collection of beers. Service was excellent and the ambience was spectacular. I think they had 8-10 beers on draught but & I'm sorry but I just wished the beers they served made sense

Yelp
Highly recommend the Sancho fries. They are so bomb and will hit the spot for sure. The fish and chips aren't that great. I was not a fan of them leaving the skin on the fish. Only because it just made it more fishy. Will definitely not have that again. But their IPA and even their triple lager is really good. I appreciate that they allow dogs. my youngest daughter and I had a great lunch the other day while we were out with our 13-year-old Boston terrier. The inside was nice even though it was a little warm inside. I would suggest they get more circulated inside.

Yelp
I went to Deadbeach on the recommendation, funny enough, from one of the servers that I met at Starbucks (shoutout to Erick) and I can already say that I love this place. I went on a Friday because there is live music and the atmosphere did not disappoint. The outside area is one of the best in El Paso, especially on the west side, that I have seen. It feels really tin panny with steel accents and a hollowed out truck trailer for stage with string lights all around the smaller tabled area and above in the far back. The inside feels a little sleazier with the long bar and narrow walkway between tables and the bar to get back and forth. I would probably go inside if I'm by myself or with one other person but more than 2 I would suggest just getting a table outside. The food was good but it is definitely bar food (portion sizes are not worth the price). The Cry Baby fries were excellent in their crispy ness and the brisket we added was incredible. I will say though, for a $6 additional charge for the brisket, the portions for that were laughable. I will mention something next time. The fried pickles were good as well. Battered well and tasted fresh but were surprisingly almost cold when brought out but still warm. As far as the beer goes, I am a sour connoisseur and I will have to say that the heartbreaker is one of my favorite sours to date. All in all, I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Ideal brewery for me. Beers were really good. I had the stout tasting flight and man what a get. Final beer was the Irish red and it was superb. Food was good too. I had the grilled cheese which was tasty and when they say spicy fries they mean it. Staff was helpful and friendly. Decor was goth like and I liked it. Superb outdoor areas too. Go here!

Luis F.

Yelp
The beers are really good. No complaints from me about them. I really enjoyed the food I had too, the burger was perfect. I'm looking forward to going back there.

Yelp
Worst food ever on Mothers Day Brunch. Never again. The biscuits were like flying saucers hard as $&@k. Food was suboptimal. Omelettes were raw. They charged 50$ plus gratuity even though they didn't serve us. Each coffee was charged individually. Such a shame that previously I enjoyed coming at the original location. NEVER AGAIN. You should've spayed us to eat there not charge us.

Yelp
The server was fantastic and the beer was good. The food was pretty good too. I had the Cobb salad. Over it was a great break for my afternoon

Yelp
Food and drink(35% weight factor, 2.0 stars) - Food was bad, perhaps this was an off day, there are better places in El Paso to eat. The beer was disappointing, the samplers we had covered a wide spectrum, was hoping to find a gem in the lot...I did not (0.70 total stars). Hospitality and convenience (25% weight factor, 3.0 stars)-The staff was nice and friendly, we were seated fairly quick, however using your credit card is no-no. There is a convenience fee when using a credit card, it would have been nice if they had told me beforehand or perhaps a sign posted at the entrance (0.75 total stars). Price (20% weight factor, 2.0 stars)-Expensive for the type of food we ate (food truck chic), look at the menu beforehand (0.40 total stars). Ambiance (15% weight factor, 2.5 stars)-It looks nice from the outside, but the layout was odd. Half of the restaurant is very nice, the other half seems like they just wanted to add more seating area (0.38 total stars). Parking (5% weight factor, 4.0 stars)- The street has plenty of parking (0.20 total stars). Overall, 2.43 stars rounded down to 2.0 stars, since yelp doe not allow fractions in the overall score. This place looked like it had potential, the food was bland, the beer was definitely lacking, the credit card convenience fee was annoying. Not sure I will go back again.

Yelp
Thank you Patrick for the brewery tour. We all enjoyed seeing the systems there. It's quite upscale. I was so impressed with how clean and sterile everything looked too. The beers were all so good.

Yelp
What do you do when you're business traveling? You pull up Yelp! To see the best places. So, that's what I did. After a long work day, I found DeadBeach Brewery. I was apprehensive because Waze said it was closed the day I went but looking on their website, it was open so I made the drive. If I lived in El Paso, I could get down with this place all the time although I'd be 400lbs! My server was super sweet and attentive. I ordered a beer flight and let her pick the sour one and while it was tasty, maybe my palette isn't sophisticated enough for sour beers. However, their Irish red and Abuela were delicious! Aside from a pretzel as an app which was delicious, I ordered the burnt end brisket street tacos and a side is fries "Cashed" style. I'm usually ok with words but I'm at a loss for the tacos. Simply put, I could eat these daily for the rest of my life! HOLY COW!!! They were ridiculous! The fries, I mean, smothered and covered with about 5 different flavors...yeah. Delicious! My server saw I was having little food strokes at how delicious they were and that made her happy. I have no idea how the night vibe is but honestly, there could be werewolves taking over the place and I'd still be all about it for the food and beer!
google avatar

Holly C.

Yelp
It's sour season! And did I try all of them, you bet I did. I loved them all but my favorite was the Silent Disco brewed with lactose. We had to soak up that beer so we went with the prezzle thinking it would be like any other pretzel. Nope--it was quite possibly the absolute best prezzle I've ever had and don't tell the folx back home but we lived outside of Philly, so I've had some good prezzles. I also must dote on the service. Excellent excellent excellent. We had such a fun time and our server was on it! She also made suggestions that were spot on. So glad their patio is opened now!

Yelp
We had a great time at this Brewery. My only reason for the Four stars is because the music was very explicit and too loud to ignore. Our waiter was Diego and he did a phenomenal job handling all the different orders at our table. We went with a large group on a Saturday night and there wasn't a wait on food. We did make a reservation so I'm sure that helped with seating. I purchased the red beer they have canned and it was so good! I ordered to eat the I like it elote. Be ready for a spicy kick for both of those but they were still very flavorful. Everyone's food looked good. The portions were decent sizes, too. I think next time we go, I'll order a flight to try more. We sat outside so the flies were really bad. It might be helpful to have fans going. I noticed in the other outside area they had plenty of the fans. It was a great experience thanks to the cooks and Diego, except for the music!

Paula Q.

Yelp
The chef, Eric & our server were extremely attentive to my gluten allergy. Eric pan fried the tostadas rather than the deep frier which would have presented cross contamination. Service gets 5 stars, and food low as there was only one menu item I could have. My friend loved her burger & beer.

Yelp
BEST BREWERY in EL PASO @deadbeachbrewery is brewing some amazing beer in the West Texas town of El Paso. Not only are they an amazing destination in downtown but have beer and food that you will brag about and look forward to returning. Their elote and hand breaded spicy fried pickled were both great compliments to their beers that Mario brews. Great to meet you Botha. By yourself, a hot date, or gather with friends on their comfy fresh patio. Carla, thanks for the insight w/ "Love and Honor" their amazing Hoppy Cream Ale. Yelp
Great beer and food, but the staff was even better! We will be back next time we are in El Paso. Best Brewery we visited on our trip!

Yelp
Great and diverse beers, fun patio and decor. We had a larger group, and service was prompt and friendly.

Yelp
I was excited about checking out the new location so I went last weekend. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were so spicy my friend and I had to send them back. They were made out of tortilla strips. Very weird. Ordered the hefe and it was alright. Disappointing.

Hensley J.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but was less than impressed. They were out of several items, beer and food. I also became violently ill after eating here. I've seen so many good reviews but after this experience, I won't be returning.

Yelp
Love this taproom. Extremely friendly service, cool vibe and tasty food. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area. The indoor bar area has the coolest tap handles!

Yelp
After having a DeadBeach hef at Kaedama, we decided to check out the brewery the one night we were free in EP. DB is only open two days a week, and we were downtown to see the Nutcracker at the Plaza Theatre on Saturday night. We walked over to the brewery after strolling through the winterfest in San Jacinto Plaza. Initially, I was not sure about staying. The bar entry was completely packed, and the patio was also packed with live music and lots of people. Eric R. and I were lucky enough to find a spot at the bar when we went back to the front. We ordered a flight (4 tasters for $9). We chose the Bonnie Brown (amber), Hef (we knew it was good!), 5 points amber (apricot ale), and Yippee-Ki-Yay (winter warmer). To be honest, ALL of the beers we had were great. The Yippee-ki-yay was so spiced it was almost like a dessert - and it is 10% abv so I gave most to Eric R. We actually ended up getting pints of the Bonnie Brown and the 5 Points Amber after, and one was on the house as the clocked neared midnight and Eric R. celebrated his birthday. The bartender was very friendly and married to the brewer. She told us how Big Bend Brewing was closing down and that her husband used to be its brewer, so they came from Alpine. We also had interesting conversations with random people waiting to order around us at the bar. Eric R. ordered the pretzels and beer cheese as a snack and then the in the clouds dessert (which turned out to be a blueberry marshmallow panini, definitely a new experience)! The beer is really good, so try to come here for a flight or grab a pint around EP at the restaurants that have DB on draft!

Yelp
I've been waiting for about half a year to be able to check this place out. It's located downtown El Paso, and has parking on site and street parking available. The decor and atmosphere is renovated, with cultural art and it's overall a fun place to hang out in. There's music playing and sports on TV. I enjoyed their draft beer faucets and taps, each an individual skeleton of some sort. This establishment also serves food. Got a flight with 4 beers: DeadBeach ipa Best on the list. I'm a hoppy drinker so I personally think this beer could be a bit more hoppier but as Other drinkers review: it's a classic tasting ipa. 6.5% abv, tasty: as a desert beer drinker doesn't want to be dried out DeadBeach lager southwest lager 4.5% abv tasty. Second fave on the list 915 Pale Classic American pale ale Guava Jelly Tropical stout 4.3% abv not as sweet as one would expect, still sour. Awesome for those hot days. **They didn't have much ipas to select from as they rolled out their winter menu. So, I'll have to come back later when they do to review their beers again.

Yelp
We were just visiting and we're invited to their party for the last night at the downtown location. Really nice people and very good beer. Glad they are growing and succeeding. Been there and got the T-shirt!!

Yelp
I am glad to endorse this home grown brewery that showcases hard work, quality, and vision. For years this group has produced great quality craft beer. They have embraced their strengths and have produced a beverage that is proudly served across our great city of El Paso. Chihuahefe is a must try and then you can declare your own favorite. For now, bravo DBB!

Yelp
A MUST SEE BREWERY FOR ALL YOU CRAFT BEER FANS! This place has a creative vibe and the beer is delicious. They also have amazing food from their foot truck. I would totally go back here in the future when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Cool environment. Staff was friendly. Food was okay. Beer was okay too. My favorite beer was definitely the Hefe. Truffle fries and fried pickles weren't anything special. Tried the "That's my jam" burger and it was okay too. The place is a good location in order to enjoy before a Chihuahuas baseball game.

Yelp
Jon was the best! I appreciate you being so accommodating and nice! Thank you for saving Joey.

Yelp
Whether you feel like hanging out on the big, inviting patio for brunch or inside on a Friday night at the quaint bar surrounded by incredible art - DeadBeach is a must for masterful craft brews and delicious food.

Yelp

Yelp
First time here and even before walking in, we were greeted by Clark, one of the brewers working on the silos. Dude was nice as could be. Very friendly and talked with is for a little bit. The set us is pretty awesome. The decor even as you walk in is pretty one off and bad ass. The great service, atmosphere and trully great beer makes this local brewery #1 to me. I took tome to really review this, take time to go enjoy. Support local small businesses. Beer 1- Double stuffed "Oreo Cookie Imperial Milk Stout" Yes OREO cookie and tastes phenomenal. Has the essence the cookie without the super sweetness. Make no mistake this is a true stout. ABV 9.5 Beer 2- Peanut Butter and Jealous "Peanut butter and strawberry brown ale" it had a slight tartness from the strawberry but the peanut butter note hits in the back end and goes down smooth. ABV 6.1 Beer 3- Abuela stout "Abuell mexican dark chocolate" The dark chocolate really comes through and gives this beer a great flavor. I am partial to dark chocolate so this was my favorite. ABV 8.6 Beer 4- Best name of everything they had 2 Bock Shakur "American style Dopplebock" great sessioon beer in my book. Goes down effortless and the flavor really coats your tongue. Probably one of the best bocks I have ever had. ABV 6.7

Yelp
I so badly want to love this place, and if they make some changes, I will gladly change this review, but they need to improve. Beer (Just OK): Ok, not great. They have light styles and dark styles, but few IPAs or Pale Ales. Their Deadbeach IPA is too malty and slightly coppery for me. It's ok, though but they need a hazy or and/or a session and/or a brut. Their lager and hef are serviceable, but both are somewhat sour and I'm not sure that's intentional. Stouts and porters are fine. Nothing to write home about. Food (Not Great): So much promise, but not great. Most things are WAY too spicy for an average palette. I was so excited for the pulled pork baked potato, but the cheese sauce was so spicy, it was inedible. Same w/ the meat in the chorizo brunch tacos. My kid even hated the burger because somehow, even the party was spicy. If they adjusted the heat, the bbq would be good! Every time I have been, the food isn't warm enough. This could be a service issue though. Ambiance (Great and Terrible):: Back patio is one of the absolute best outdoor spaces in El Paso. Very cool, very nice, and also comfortable. The inside feels like a crappy dive bar. Loud, dark and dirty - just not great. Service (Awful): I know every place is struggling right now so this could change, but the service has been very slow, somewhat aloof, and just don't seem super interested in anything but tips. This can change and I hope it does. Overall: This place could be truly great. And I really want it to be. I hope they take a long look at things and work to improve. If they do, I'll drive across town at least once a week and take business clients. Rooting for you!
