Creative drinks & sneaker decor in a chill, snob-free coffee zone
"Proving the Venn diagram of sneakerheads and coffee obsessives has plenty of overlap, Deadstock serves bright, sweet house roasts with names like Fresh Prince and Slow Jamz, listed with flavor notes of “fruity pebbles” or “cinnamon toast.” The café has no posted menu. Instead, patrons order any of the coffee shop standards here (with a sneaker-shaped stencil of cocoa powder if you ask nicely). Warm weather specialties include Zero Chill, a blend of coffee and sweet tea, or the similar LeBronald Palmer, a blend of coffee, lemonade, and sweet tea. The business expanded with a much larger second space in Beaverton in 2024." - Paolo Bicchieri

"Sneaker-themed Deadstock Coffee is located in a small storefront that sells fun merch as well as house roasts with names like Dark Jawn and Slow Jamz. Customers can order photo-worthy lattes adorned with a powder Nike hightop or grab-and-go offerings like the LeBronald Palmer, a blend of coffee, lemonade, and sweet tea." - Zoe Baillargeon
"I visited Deadstock Coffee where owner Ian Williams serves espresso drinks and the cafe’s signature Lebronald Palmer, a mix of cold brew, sweet tea, and lemonade." - Janey Wong
"I observed that Deadstock, described as a sneaker-loving spot in Chinatown, represents part of Portland’s new wave of roasteries that blend culture and coffee." - Paolo Bicchieri
"A local Black-owned coffee shop, Deadstock Coffee partnered with Kann to produce a custom retail blend: a single-origin Blue Mountain coffee from Haiti that is sold pre-ground in ten-ounce bags with brew instructions and a recipe card explaining culinary uses such as a coffee rub, barbecue sauce, or ice cream." - Janey Wong
