I want to update my original review after seeing the owner's response. First, I'll clarify: my review was never meant as a personal attack on the employees. I understand they are real people, and I respect the work that goes into running a small business. My intention was to describe my experience as a paying customer, and at that time, I did not feel welcomed or well-served.
The coffee itself wasn't enjoyable for me, especially considering the price point. Of course, taste is subjective, but for $7.50 a cup, I expected something much better. The service also felt cold and disengaged during my visit. Whether that's due to training, atmosphere, or simply an off day, it had a big impact on how I perceived the space.
On the positive side, the café was clean and nicely decorated, and I can see how some people would enjoy the Instagram-friendly aesthetic. But for me, good coffee and genuine hospitality are what matter most in a coffee shop, and unfortunately, I didn't experience that here.
I hope this feedback is received as constructive. Small businesses thrive when they listen to customers and balance pride in their team with a willingness to grow. I wish this café the best, but based on my experience, it wasn't a place I'd return to.
