Just visited this new spot and I’m honestly impressed. The place looks beautiful, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food tasted fresh and well made. You can tell they put effort into every detail. Definitely a great addition to the area.I’ll be back!

A great new gem in our neighborhood. They turned a crappy diner into a mediterrean paradise with awesome food for a very reasonable price. I had the lamb skewer that came with a salad you would have thought was just picked out of the garden. Agree with another that the lamb melted into your mouth. Where else can u go have fabulous food/ wines priced right/ perfect service /awesome decor and still walk out with cash in your pocket. Oh..they even gave us a free dessert to try JUST WOW!

The food was so fresh and delicious, one of the best Mediterranean spots on the upper east side. The manager came to check on us several times and the whole staff was truly lovely and hospitable. I had the lamb skewers which just melt in your mouth. I’d also recommend the 5 spread dips in the beginning for your appetizer. Will definitely be going back.

Very good food from appetizers to entrees. Service was attentive and considerate, too. I thought the portions for the salad, appetizers and mezze to be a bit small, but everything was well made. I was in a group on 6 and they put us on a large table in the back. This was a horrible spot because it was isolated from the rest of the restaurant and right next to the bathroom. Other than that, a good place to eat.

Had such an amazing experience at Dear Margo. Such a cozy atmosphere & the service was so warm & friendly. The food was fantastic! The spreads are a must order (the spreads and bread are to die for). We ordered a little bit of everything on the menu & one thing was better than the next. I can’t wait to come back again !

Incredible ambiance with amazing food ,wine and service. Very friendly staff as well. Everything on the menu was great. The spread is a must every dip was great I couldn't get enough. This new restaurant in the upper east side is a must try!

My group of four shared the mezze trio, kofta and steak kebabs, chicken schnitzel, and Israeli salad, all of which were fresh and delicious. In a thoughtful gesture, we were comped our first round of drinks because our table wasn't ready until 15-20 minutes after our reservation. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and the atmoshere. Docking a star off because we were rushed through the entire meal. Waiters came no less than every seven minutes to check if we were ready for our next course. I'd like to visit again and see if this was just first week growing pains, but it did put a damper on our vibe, and was especially frustrating because we were seated late and should have been honored our full reservation window, plus some.

I had a great experience at Dear Margo on the Upper East Side. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—especially the mezze and seafood dishes. Service was attentive and welcoming. Definitely one of the best new Mediterranean spots in NYC, highly recommend checking it out!
