A really cool venue. Great service at the bar. Very interesting decor with thousands of pictures on the walls. A must visit for music lovers.

Very famous and really authentic Irish pub with folk music and modern bands and Irish soul. I've enjoyed all time I spent there. Very pleasant and helpful staff coupled with a good service and great ambiance will make you a regular guest of this place. Anyone must visit the place when in Clonakilty.

Google
Cool place to enjoy a pint. The service was very good and there's plenty to look at in the bar. The place is quite large. There was a live band coming in later in the night (€15 cover charge). Wish we had the time to see them.

What a great pub absolutely steeped in history!! First pint wasn’t the best but I’m nearly sure it was the first poured of the day. Once the bar man saw, he came out and took it back to refill. Great pints, great stories, great atmosphere.

Yelp
Okay, yes...it's a Wednesday night. So, I get it...there's no music. But good golly, the bartender-Owen, was less than thrilled to see us. Unless of course he is on the spectrum, in which case I forgive his lack of social skills. He seemed less than thrilled to have two middle-aged American women in the pub tonight. No worries, we struck up a conversation with a local, Luiga(sp?). It's a cool place. And I suppose if it were a weekend, it would be great. But tonight, well it was unfriendly and not very welcoming. Too bad because most of the rest of Ireland has been pretty nice.

Yelp
One of my favorite pubs on this planet! Very friendly staff made me feel at home. Interesting past with an association to Noel Redding from the Jimi Hendrix Experience and pretty close to decent surfing locations on the SW corner of the county. Next time when I am back in Ireland, I am heading back to De Barra's...

Yelp
Great fresh food. Soup of the day with toasty was delicious. Service fast and friendly. Lots of inspirational as well as funny memorabilia. Excellent value.

Yelp
This place truly amazed me! Started with a beautiful pint for my wife and I The bartender (James) was more then kind by helping everyone he encountered with wit and humor and this was just the beginning. The music started and it was incredible!!! With some coaxing (James says he doesn't sing) James began a rendition of "Arms of an Angel" that took the room away. When he was done wasn't a dry eye in the place!! Well done my friend. Oh by the way the bathrooms were clean and smelled of lilacs

Yelp
Amazing place. Live music on Thursdays are a must see when visiting the area. There's really no telling who it will be. Friendly faces and voices all around. they only serve food at lunch but the beer is always good. Walk in and don't sit down. order a pint from the man behind the bar, and just wander around and look at the pictures on the walls. It'll take hours and you won't mind a bit.

Yelp
Really great pub renowned for live music, it's deceptively much bigger than it first looks as it extends out the back. Brilliant place.
