Everything You Need To Eat In Seattle This Summer - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This astroturf fever dream has the makings of a raucous day party powered by watermelon aperol spritzes and tasty bulgogi nachos. Thing is, it's a ghost town. Consider that an opportunity—the massive patio is all yours. Anyone in your social circle who's been called “a real hoot” at some point? Fill up this pseudo backyard with them so nobody has to play beer pong in silence." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, gabe guarente, kayla sager riley, kayla sager riley, kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

Great bar for small concerts. We were able to see both performances upfront and close.

Awesome…Yarn rocked Debauchery in Melbourne! Blake Christiana and his crew put on an unforgettable show….The setlist had something for everyone, from the soulful vibes of “Heaven in You” to the upbeat energy of “Down at the Dance Hall.” Blake’s storytelling between songs added humor and warmth, making us feel part of the Yarn family…Debauchery was the perfect setting…intimate, welcoming, and the sound quality amplified every note. Watching the band’s impressive solos up close was incredible….This wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience. Can’t wait until Yarn returns!

Does anyone else think whoever planned the crowd control should have been in the same room as whoever planned having a two way mirror in the bathroom? past midnight they are kicking people out of the bathrooms for spending too much time playing with their "reflections" 🤣 the barkeeps are solid and patient. it is a dive bar with a fairly historical reputation, so temper your expectations 🤙 i'm sober so I only come here to dance when i hear the dj is playing stuff i can dance to(?)

Cute little venue. I got to meet Grieves so definitely five stars

It's alright. Went on a Sunday night with some friends from out of state. First time trying out the bars in downtown Melbourne for me too. We did get ID checked at the door, which was fine. Then bags checked, then metal detected. It was a little much for me, but safety first I guess? The security guard was pretty nice about it, so I wasn't upset by any means. He also was running around helping clean messes and being attentive to members in a good way. I had two drinks and they tasted completely different than each other. If you want good drinks, this is not the place. This is the place you go for insanely loud club mix music, but not the good kind either. We were there for about an hour and the music never got better. Saw some decent reviews about the live music, so was pretty surprised. Would've preferred the jukebox over that. The first bartender I had was super nice, remade my friends drink after she knocked hers with her elbow. The shorter guy with the beard. The other bartender, girl with blonde hair, was a bit rude when I went to cash out. She asked for the name and I yelled to her my last name, but she looked annoyed at me for not being loud enough and put her hand by her ear to indicate she couldn't hear. So I screamed my last name again and got the hell out of there. Like...sorry we can't even hear enough to yell to each other over this garbage music? Why you look annoyed with me?? Overall, expected more, went for the music, and it was no bueno. Drinks didn't make up for it, and neither did the service really. Eh, wouldn't recommend it.

I almost didn't come here because of several reviews describing poor treatment of patrons. I decided to try anyways because some bands were playing that I really wanted to see and a local friend said they liked this place. I'm glad I did, had the total opposite experience to what the negative reviews described. - Security personnel were very kind/friendly, respectful, and non-invasive. - Bartenders were also super helpful, attentive, and offered quick service despite many customers. - Many good draft and packaged beer options. Mixed drinks were made well and according to my special requests, all for reasonable prices. - Very fun and intimate venue to see live music. Crowd was lovely and respectful of each other. One staff told me that live shows there are good, but the crowd changes as it gets later on weekends. I left around 11 after the bands finished and could see what they meant, but still nothing but good energy from staff and other patrons while I was there. I got there at 6pm and even as it got later, everyone was chill. I feel the need to write such a detailed review to hopefully ease suspicions of others like me who may consider skipping a visit here to avoid the horrors described in other reviews. I look forward to coming back for other live shows in the future even though it's a bit far from home. Additional notes as general FYI and to address concerns from other reviews: - the place doesn't permit knives or guns. Keep them in the car. They do check IDs, so bring it. They ask to look in bags but aren't intrusive about it. If you follow the posted security rules you should be good there. - I had no concerns about drinks being drugged. I watched the staff pour/make my drinks and I kept a close eye if I needed to set my drink down anywhere for a moment as I would in any bar. As with all bars, just be mindful and hold on to your stuff. Don't leave things unattended. Just a general rule to avoid issues, again I had 0 worries about this place in particular. - kept my tab open the whole time I was there. No overcharges. Check your receipt when you close out to flag any issues before you go. Again, just general advisory; the staff here were great and wouldn't suspect any foulplay. -Just be kind/respectful to staff and other patrons and you should receive the same treatment in return. Anywhere and everywhere you go. Bottom line: Despite other reviews that made the place sound shady, I had a great time here. It was very warm and welcoming with plenty of space to spread out and take a breather. Will definitely be back.

Google
I went out & the DJ was playing a song by SouljaBoy but remixed with another song. I approached the DJ and asked if the song could be played independently. The DJ responded & said " oh you want it ghetto? i'm not going that". after asking what was said, he stated " oh did you want it more urban?" i feel it was so offensive and rude. i would NOT recommend.

Google
Security needs reality check, I got kicked out of the bar because I made a joke about me being a Captain to the short fat security dude and he said I was being “disrespectful” and cursed at me while pushing me out. Would recommend going anywhere else even Neon Rodeo is 10 times better then this place.

Yelp
Our experience was great here, we weren't there for long but had a good time while it lasted. We came on a Sunday night. The music was moderately loud but you didn't have to yell to talk which was nice (there was not a live band playing, just music on the stereo). I just got a house margarita which was super good, and our bartender was amazing, friendly and hospitable. They have pool tables, so you can play and tvs up with sports on or whatever you'd wanna watch, I'd imagined Would come again for sure.

Yelp
ordered a rum and coke and the coke was flat and could barely taste the rum teehee! need a longer word count so ill also add that the cigar smell was horrible i love the smell of cigs but now i'm gonna have cigar smell in my hair for days

Yelp
First time at this establishment with my two daughters. Apparently we were on the wrong side of the water cooler at the bar when we were trying to order a drink. The bartender finally came to us and cussed us out for being where we were. We got our drinks, paid, and left a generous tip regardless. Then one of my daughters expressed her displeasure about being cussed out for being where she had no idea she should not be to order a drink. This bouncer told her, there's the door, we don't need you here. She mentioned that we left a good tip and he needs it more than we do. The bouncer then aggressively followed us, smacked the drink out of my daughter's hand, and had us removed from the bar. We are upstanding citizens who have never been removed from a bar before. This place is out of control.

Yelp
Debauchery is a cool place to have some drinks in downtown Melbourne. The inside is pretty large and while we were there, a lot of hard rock/metal was playing which I definitely enjoy! It can get pretty loud though. The bartender was friendly. We grabbed some beers and opted to sit in the outside area to relax and people watch. Beers were on the pricy side here in my opinion and the selection wasn't huge, but they do also have liquor so you can opt for mixed drinks instead. Overall, I thought it was a cool spot to hang for a bit and would likely return in the future.

Robyn F.

Yelp
3.5 I usually only come here during the week. The busier nights can get a bit crowded, to the point of a line out front. I forget his name rn but he makes the best lemon drop shots. The prices are reasonable, average compared to the other bars downtown. They always have plenty of security. I enjoy the music here. When they have a dj it's fun and usually packed. The bathrooms definitely need to be cleaner. Everyone loves the mirror in the bathroom, I don't care either way. I try to avoid using their bathroom. They have a few games to play & a couple of pool tables. The outside patio area is nice.

Caleb S.

Yelp
bartenders and staff are good, venue nice. DJ's routinely play bad mixes and kill the energy

Yelp
This bar is amazing, granted this is Melbourne and your options are very limited here. So for what it is, it does the job as far as being fun. The bathroom is the spotlight with their see through mirror and where you can truly see who wash their hands and who doesn't. The only thing that I didn't like is that the guy checking the IDs at the entrance is a d*ck. He tried to tell me my ID was fake and tried to take it from me. I told them this was real and had to show additional proof that I was from there and it was real. Other than getting past him, the bar is fun and exciting. Advice for the dude checking ID: Just use a scanner to see if it is real or fake. Cuz you cannot tell at all and almost took my ID, which I would have needed to get back on my flight home.

Yelp
We were playing pool, minding our own business, and our designated driver accidentally popped a ball over the table. We all had a little giggle at the mistake but a short ponytailed man picked up our ball and brought it over to us saying "don't ###king do that again" I sincerely replied that I was sorry and it was just an accident but he decided that wasn't enough and repeated what he previously said and potted our remaining balls while stating he was the boss. If that man was the actual manager or owner i am appalled by his actions and words. I was very sincere if I had interrupted his evening, but if he is the manager he should understand that occasionally a ball will pop over the table unintentionally. I simply do not understand the treatment. If that man was not an employee and simply an a##hole stepping outside of his business, it would be hard to believe the bartender didn't notice. We were nothing but respectful and having a good night between friends. This experience was one of the worst I've ever had I would not recommend it to anyone the so called "owner/boss" is awful!

Yelp
My wife and I decided to go to Debauchery for New Year's Eve. I was waiting by the back door for her to finish using the restroom and when trying to leave through the back door that has an EXIT sign clearly lit, the security guard grabbed me and threw me into a table and onto the ground for literally trying to leave the bar with my wife through the back door...He then hovered over me as if he were going to strike me! I had my hands up, didn't say a word and when he finally let me up we they kicked me out of the bar through the same door they weren't letting me leave through! I wouldn't recommend anyone ever going here and please report them to the police if anything like this ever happens to you.

Yelp
Zero stars! I use to enjoy having a drink at this bar !,,"BUT the girl bartender is on her phone and not even checking on customers! My husband waited over 10 minutes for service a group of 4 came in and she waited on them first , when she finally waited on my husband he mentioned he had been waiting and should have been waited she told him I'll get you check and you can leave ! This is the worst bar in down town Melbourne and I will not be returning. The bouncers don't wear face mask and get up in you face and are so rude. Ass holes.. boycotting this bar hope your business fails. Your service sucks and so do you female bartenders!!!
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
This place, Haw Haw The floors are sticky the bar is long and long. They have a pretty good selection of beer and they have a full bar. You can get your Vodka Orange juice, then walk down to another location while you are on your downtown bar walk. The music is usually very loud for the environment size or how crowded they are. They have a stage and often offer live music or a DJ . Watch out for the bathroom, there is a little surprise! Just make sure you are washing your hands because they are watching!

Alex C.

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I fell and twisted my knee--which has been in a brace since I partially tore a ligament in January--and their response, instead of helping me, was to forcefully toss me out of the bar when I tried to lean against a pole for support. The bouncer was rude and made a point to be rude. This is the worst kind of bar--they are rude when they can be, and the environment is uninspired at best. Don't waste your time coming here. You are better off literally anywhere else--a night in is preferable to the rude (and abusive) staff at Debauchery.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
This place is disgusting. Debauchery reeked of cigarette smoke and there was just another calibor of people here that I am not accustomed to nor have I encountered, ever. Beware. Certainly lives up to it's name. Trash everywhere, napkins and cigarette butts littered everywhere. It was dirty. My friends said she almost lost her cookies when she attempted to use the restroom. There was karaoke, but nothing fun or sing-along was being played. Just say no. I will not be returning here, ever. Just gross!
google avatar

Martin H.

Yelp
Beer selection is terrible - 1 beer on tap Service - awful. Bartender was extremely rude and tried to pick a fight. Probably just got done putting down meth pipe. Clientele- skeezey and gross. Bottom line - skip this and continue elsewhere until management gets a clue
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a bit of a dive bar. That does not mean it sucks. I like this place. They have a couple of pool tables and plenty of TVs-- a couple which show some funny memes in a loop. That provides for some eye candy while having a beer. The bathroom is odd and that's all I will say about that. The place seems dirty as the floor was a little sticky. The stools are uncomfortable if you sit on them more than 10 minutes. The music is sometimes so blaringly loud you can hear it from way outside. I don't go in there when it is like that. There is no food sold here and if you hate cigarette smoke this place is not for you. Overall, an OK bar to hang out in when the music is not loud. I usually do not stay here too long.
google avatar

Patrick E.

Yelp
Everything was great until we ordered a drink from the Mexican bartender. He served us a shot and knocked it over. I asked for another and he said I would have to pay. Total douche they should fire. Everyone else was pretty good.
google avatar

Adam D.

Yelp
They have the worst security!!!! The would not let someone's friend in with them and it was ridiculous!!!! Just because security is big and buff doesn't mean they are all that
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
The beer selection is okay, the music is great, but the service is usually not the best. Pretty much only dig this place because of the bathroom.

Jess M.

Yelp
Not even worth "1" star- summarize this establishment in one word TRASH. I totally understand the word Debauchery, not sure if this bar does. The employees DO NOT care about the customers and treat them with complete disrespect. What happened to me at this place was NOT okay and I am posting what happened to me at this establishment on NYE 2018. I hope if anyone else has had an experience like this please report it. A place like this should not be allowed: To whom it may concern, I had an encounter tonight at your establishment. While trying to use the ladies room, one of your "bouncers" grabbed me inappropriately when I was trying to go into the ladies room. He pulled me out, grabbed my arm then pulled my jacket down trying to pull me down to the ground. My friend tried to get him to stop touching me and told him to stop repeatedly. Instead of doing his actual job, he was trying to get a blondes girls number. When he tried to pull me out, he was threatening to throw me out and kept calling me names. I asked him over and over again, "getting thrown out to use the restroom?!?". He cursed at me and pushed me into the restroom. My girlfriend and I were stunned on the way he acted. I had only 1 beer the entire night and was not so called "trashed" like everyone else. He kept coming in repeatedly in the ladies room, then tried to push the door on me saying it was "a fire hazard" to have the door open, though he was in the door way with the door open for a very long time. After the encounter, I went to the bar and gave my info to a bar tender, short, black hair woman. My friend tried to have YOUR bouncer come apologize. He didn't show, so I asked another employee about him. When I was trying to leave your employees were out front, I spoke to them. I told them what happened and they only thing those men could tell me, "he's been here 5 years and never had an encounter before". Acting as though this was my fault! I am UNBELIEVABLY upset and will continue to have something done about YOUR establishment. If you think it's okay to have filthy, rude gentleman (not gentlemen, more like animals) grabbing women and trying to throw them out of the bathroom when they've done nothing wrong, I really hope you get shut down. Yes, I will be persistent and keep at this until something is done. If you have bouncers, doing this to sober women or "1 drink" in women, then what do you think he's doing to women that are inebriated and can't fend for themselves. An apology at this point will not cut it. The gentlemen was short, maybe 5' 7", black hair and black beard, let's say "not so pleasantly plump" 250 lbs (guessing), brown skin. A very weird name- possibly Arabic or Egyptian, discriminatory towards women

Kaleb M.

Yelp
Service is terrible, the night management is poorly managed and are moronic, bouncers just as dense, and not people friendly. I arrive with my friends go to the bathroom and in the bathroom a bouncer walks in to use the bathroom and he's walking strangely so I ask "Are you ok?" And he goes "I'm just trying not to slip in piss" I go "Understandable, but wouldn't that mean workers comp for you" and start laughing and he goes "What does that mean?" And I go "It's just a joke" go pee and leave and as I'm ordering my drink the bouncer walks up and goes "What did you mean by workers comp?" And I look at him strangely and go "Do you guys not get workers comp? And go on to explain what workers comp is" and he goes "I'm keeping my eye on you" so I go "Ok" and get my drink and before I can drink it the manager comes over and escorts me out with 2 bouncers and go "Your not allowed back in tonight maybe tomorrow because of what you said to my bouncer" and I'm like "Can you guys not understand a joke or what?" I explain what happened and he goes "Apologize and if he forgives you, you can come back in" I apologize just so I can get back to get back to my friends and he goes on to explain he thought I wanted to fight him. How does that make sense when he was talking about slipping in pee! And I go back in see my beer is gone and manager says sorry had to throw it away, I ask can I get another one since I didn't even have 1 sip, he says no you'll have to buy another one but I'll buy you one tomorrow. Why not now I'm not going to be in town tomorrow. So I got kicked out for nothing and bought a beer didn't get to drink even a sip or even have it replaced when let back in. I strongly recommend to not give this place business and go next door to Matt's Casbah.
google avatar

Slim S.

Yelp
This place will rip you off. Ask for pricing on everything. For a beer you can get for $10 a six pack, they charged me $20 for one beer. That's right $20 for one beer. And charged 3.25 for PBR, every other bar along the strip charges $2. Ask prices, don't let them shanghai you to. They say they have a good selection of beers, but if you want them it's gonna cost, BIG TIME. Stay with the generic's here. They should at least tell you before they serve you, exactly what they charge. I got the bill and saw one beer for $20, what a shocker! I will never go here again. I'm saying don't go; but be wair. And the atmosphere is not exactly worth paying for either. Next time you are on a trip to see Downtown Historic Melbourne, this is one site that you need think hard about going to.
google avatar

Christopher F.

Yelp
UPDATE: They figured out how to stop running out of their featured beers on their menu. Knowing that there is a place where I can find a refreshing cold Shiner Bock is truly a wonderful thing. Plus the staff is great, always have been, get down to the last bit of beer in your glass and there's another one before you even have to ask. It would be 5 stars but sometimes the music is just too damned loud (especially when people play 80s glam rock). I will miss this place when I move back to civilization.
google avatar

Claire K.

Yelp
Came here for the RQS memorial service and these guys were extremely friendly and punctual. I always got my drinks and the bartender will pour you a good choice of beer.
google avatar

Patrick B.

Yelp
Awesome beer selection including a good amount of craft / quality beers, live reggae on Friday night, no cover, I'm a happy man!
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place 3 stars - the drinks were fast and good, but this place was dirty and the DJ was way too loud. Mind you, NOBODY was dancing, and the sound echoed throughout the bar. I don't know how this place is on profitability, but they could probably use the help of Jon Taffer's Bar Rescue show. They did have a copious selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles.
google avatar

Ryan P.

Yelp
Such an awesome bar, bartenders were so accommodating and felt welcome. Highly recommend if you want to have a great time in a local atmosphere.
google avatar

Lee A.

Yelp
I must say, I am a fan. But you have to like how it is. It is definitely a party bar for younger adults and college students. It was my first time here while visiting Melbourne, FL, and I was more happy here than being at the Spanish spot not to far from here. The bartenders where madd cool, and made sure that they checked on me and my lady while we were here. They were conversational and talked with us and even gave suggestions on different shots which we tried and were good. Prices were good, and they even had a DJ. Next time I am in town, I would definitely like to come back here if I get the chance.

Chri C.

Yelp
Love this place. Best bartenders downtown. Just flat out good ppl. I'm a bit old for the late night fri sat, but Sunday funday, Monday funday.. all good! Btw Bear is really a softy!!!!
google avatar

Veronica A.

Yelp
This place is gross and creepy. You're jammed shoulder to shoulder with sweaty men. I'd say the ratio is roughly 4 men for every 1 woman. The men and women's bathrooms share a wall, and on that wall is a piece of plexiglass where the mirror should be, so the guys can WATCH YOU wait in line and wash your hands from their side. The whole bar gives off a "dirty strip club" feel. If you're a woman, STAY AWAY.
google avatar

Hiram G.

Yelp
I was visiting Melbourne this weekend and my wife and friends decided to go out for a drink. We lived in Melbourne for over four years and we are glad that finally the people is getting new places to hangout. However this is not the best place in town. The place is ridiculous packed, smoke is allow in the facilities which makes it very disgusting , and the music wasn't great. They also had a reggae band playing for over forty min, which probably that was the highlight of the night. Nothing really great about this place. Thank god today we are going back to Ft lauderdale.
google avatar

Drew Jackie M.

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in Downtown Melbourne. The bartenders are awesome, the drinks are always flowing and the love entertainment never disappoints! If you want a hip fun place to hang out in Melbourne, this is the spot!
google avatar

Knot D.

Yelp
Once again, pool tables are broke and nobody cares. I was told they only bring in $1.25! Hey, do the math! Four people playing at $4.50 a drink! Some people should not manage a bar.....

Clint D.

Yelp
We had perfectly strong drinks and great service! Lives up to its name! The staff was fun! Pool tables were well-kept and the band was awesome! We will be back! Would love to see some more live shows there!

Sam E.

Yelp
Nothing special, just your average dive bar. Two pool tables, couple of tables, does have a larger draft selection.
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Best bar in town! Over 40 different draft beers, hundreds of bottled beer to choose from and the staff is always fast and friendly! The bar is always packed with a fun and energetic crowd, as well!
google avatar

George R.

Yelp
FUN FUN FUN. Great Place, Awesome Bartenders, Good Times! One of the Best places catch a Live Performance (National and Local) in Brevard!

Kristen P.

Yelp
The biggest reason we come here is for Bear who is an amazing bartender and always takes a ton of time to make conversation with his patrons. My husband asked if we could have the fantasy football draft here and he was totally on board. Day of draft he opened up early for us and was amazing at taking care of our group. Sundays are the best days for us to go there as we don't like the large crowds this place draws in on late nights. Thanks Debauchery and thanks Bear!

Christina B.

Yelp
I like the mix of people that can be found here: old, young, black, white, hip-hopers, rockers, etc. The drink prices are average, but my favorite part is that they have a large selection of beers. The bartenders are loyal. Since I visit here often, I know them by name. Cecil is my favorite, but Andrew and RJ are nice to look at. They have a TouchTunes jukebox so if I want to play DJ, I can. When the real DJs play, I love the music choices. The space is vast, but since it is so popular, it can fill up quickly. The restroom is a novelty. The mirror is not a mirror at all, in fact, it is a window into the men's restroom which makes for some great fun (hint, hint). However, the management needs to put more effort in keeping the stalls up-to-date. The customers are quickly destroying them. Overall, I love this bar. I visit two-three times a month.

Casual O.

Yelp
Great that they have lots of beers on tap and the staff seemed nice enough but it took forever to get your drink. Place was way too smokey! They need to get some additional ventilation. Music could have been better. Hope this was just an off night
