Wow. What a cool place! I missed the tour, but I will be sure to catch it the next time I visit family in Indiana. The chocolate is some of the best I've ever tasted. The staff were kind and helpful. The place had such interesting and fun decor. Check out the restroom, too!

You must stop here for the expensive chocolate experience!! So delicious and worth visiting when in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We tried Dubai chocolate for the 1st time. The truffles are amazing. The flavors of the chocolates are so rich and even taste expensive as your tastebuds sing with delight! We tried a free sample of the Rosemary citrus connoisseur chocolates and I think I was transported to the RIVERA on a yacht in the south of France. 🤣 It was delicious and I felt rich immediately. My hubby said we are coming back for breakfast for more chocolates! Lol Don't miss this place...its pricey but it's worth it! Way better than Godiva!! 🤎

Comfortable seating, great chocolate! More on the expensive side, but the quality of chocolate is worth it. The employees are always nice and patient. Once and a while we come here and hang out with chai and hot chocolate.

On August 4th I went on a group tour with our Flower Garden and enjoyed the experience. Having taken kids on field trips to DeBrand in the past, I knew it would be fun. Last year I received a gift box of DeBrand assorted chocolates and especially enjoyed the maple cream ones So, after the tour, I chose 6 maple leaf ones from the display case. The next day I had one, but was really disappointed. Unlike my past memories of the cream maple flavor I found it to be not creamy, but seemed gritty, not at all the same as ones I had remembered. It had a slight bitter taste. I was hoping it was a fluke and the rest would be good, but the next day, I treated myself to another one and it was just as disappointing. I haven't tried anymore of them. I had purchased two individual Turtles and the first one was fantastic, and I'm hoping the second one will be delicious too. Unfortunately I am wondering it the maple creams were old since they were in the display case, perhaps not fresh. If you still have them in your case, I would suggest you test one and see if the others are as bad as the ones I have tried. It tasted like the sugar had not dissolved well. Hands down the best chocolate you can get in the area. It’s a little spendy but totally worth it. They also have great hot chocolate and ice cream.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself. By far the best chocolates I have ever tasted. I built my own box and selected the Cafe Latte, Gourmet PBJ, Raspberry Cream - Dark, Rose Carmella - Dark, and Orange Cream. So good!

This was such a FUN, unique and truly DELICIOUS experience! The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is very affordable, there are a ton of yummy samples and you get a coupon for $10 with the purchase of each ticket! Parking is amazing and the atmosphere is very bougie and relaxing.

Debrand's Auburn Road - when hosting guests in Fort Wayne....do what Summit City goers do...go to Debrand's! We recently hosted family from out of town. They HAD to experience Firt Wayne's best!! On Friday nights...Debrand's offers a chocolate cheese cake. It's not a traditional cheese cake. It's not dense nor cheesy. The cake offering was light and airy. It has a nice chocolate flavor without being heavy and over the top sweet. It really kinda melted in your mouth. A MUST try if you are there on a Friday night! Absolutely delicious!! The ice sundaes are still a crowd favorite. The ice cream is home made and smooth. The peanut butter option is very rich and sugary. The peanut taste is bold and creamy in texture. No nut chunks. The raspberry option is just like this. Bold berry taste with a rich concentration of sugar. I added the caramel sauce which blends the chocolate and peanut butter flavors nicely. The pecan bits give the sundae a nice crunch texture. The chocolate shell on the ice cream tends to be hard and difficult to cut. I recommend that two people split a sundae as it is decent amount of dessert and it is really rich. The Debrand team is always very friendly and service oriented. On this occasion they brought our party some sample chocolate pieces while we waited for the order. This gave our out of town guests to sample the candy they Debrand us also renowned for. I taste tested a dark chocolate-strawberry filled candy piece. The dark chocolate is very bold in flavor. The strawberry filling had a distinctly strawberry flavor. Very tasty creation!

Great choice for party gifts. They have different gift box size options. You can choose pre-boxed sets with classic chocolates or can customize boxes with your personal favorites. I recently purchased two boxed classic sets for prize winners for a baby shower game - not knowing who would receive them but knowing anyone would be pleased. While in the store, my husband starting 'eyeing' the truffles, so we put together a custom box of truffles for an early Father's Day gift for him. Everyone there was friendly and we were in and out quickly. The boxed chocolates were a hit, as expected.

We took a public tour of DeBrand, and it was like getting a real life Willy Wonka Golden Ticket! My family and I really enjoyed learning the history of chocolate and DeBrand, seeing behind the scenes, and even getting to sample chocolate and ice cream! A DeBrand tour would be great for any age and a fun for visitors and locals alike. We highly recommend visiting this location! Mel was an excellent tour guide (very experienced and kind) and Lindsie was fabulous in helping select the perfect chocolates and delights to purchase and take home. Fantastic!

Still our favorite place for dessert in Fort Wayne. The sundaes are expensive but I have not had any other that comes close. The crunchy peanut butter is hands down the BEST peanut butter you could possibly find to put on ice cream. The raspberry sauce is tart & fresh. All the workers are friendly and even on busy nights service is quick.

Forget love... id rather fall in chocolate! I came by Debrand Fine Chocolates because I am a chocolate lover. I had some Debrands a few times when I saw it in stores and loved it. My family has never had any, and while I was perusing their website one day, I discovered that not only is it made in Fort Wayne, you can actually take a tour of the factory for only $10! So i told my family and we came at the end of November 2023. The facility is beautiful. When we got there we paid our $30 and were given vouchers/rebate on chocolate we buy there that day for that same amount! Neat! While waiting for the tour to start, i walked around and looked at the different chocolate they had for sale. I also discovered they make ice cream and shakes as well! I didn't try it, but I bet it tastes heavenly. They then took us to a room for the first part of the tour. The room is used for events/celebrations/weddings that you can rent. While there we watched a brief video on the company's history. We then were taken on a walking tour of the factory that also in included sampling the chocolate! Omg! It was so delicious!!!! After the tour I went back and used those rebates to make purchases. Instead of being selfish and using it to buy chocolate for me, i bought chocolate for three friends I have to send to them for Christmas! One of them loved it so much, she said it has become her favorite brand of chocolate! Great experience! Loved every moment of the tour! Loved the chocolate! Loved putting a smile on a friend's face!

There isn't much to see in Fort Wayne so if you are in town and have seen the fort and been to a Tin Caps game you will be looking for something else to do. This chocolatier is worth going to see. Good selection of truffles, candies, specialty bars etc... the chocolate is very good with the best truffle being the Key Lime Pie truffle.. wow was that ever good..and the seating area is welcoming. Service is nice as well. Go get some chocolate!

This is the best chocolates ever made. The peanut butter cups are so delicious and the turtles are also delicious. The quality and taste is amazing.. Thank you!

Whenever I visit Fort Wayne I make it a point to visit DeBrand. It's a cute store that has beautiful chocolates but for me the star of the show is the sundaes. A scoop of vanilla ice cream is place in your choice of a dark or milk chocolate bowl and then topped with your choice of milk or dark chocolate, raspberry, or peanut butter. I've tried several variations at this point and my tried and true is the milk chocolate bowl topped with milk chocolate and raspberry. The chocolate is so smooth and the raspberry is tart and pairs so well with it. The ice cream isn't anything to write home about but for me it's just a vessel for the rest of the dish :) It is a bit pricey at $11 but it's so worth it. If you are a fan of peanut butter, I suggest trying it. It has like little crispies in it and it's pretty light. It pairs really nicely with either chocolate.

Was driving through Fort Wayne and really was craving chocolate. Little did I know I was going to find this place!! I am blown away by DeBrand Fine Chocolates. The space was gorgeous and the people were so kind. It felt like a special place and I loved it. Definitely will be stopping by again when I have to drive through Fort Wayne again! The chocolate was AMAZING!

Visiting from out of town and all I can say is WOW!! Decadent! Truffles! Chocolate lovers dream. I'm a dark chocolate lover, so you can imagine how difficult it is to resist the temptation to buy most everything behind the glass here. OMG, I am so going to come back here when I visit again. I think I gained 15 lbs just looking at what was in the case. I even bought gifts for family and friends while we were here. The folks behind the counter are extremely helpful. We even came back to get a little something for the helpful and friendly hotel staff at where we were staying.

I've been here twice within the last couple weeks. The first time I went I asked for a hot coffee with caramel. The coffee was good, but not hot. It was warm at best but still delicious! They make their caramel themselves! And I believe the nice lady working told me they get their coffee locally! So a win win right?!! I went a second time and requested the same coffee with caramel. This time, the coffee was hot! You also get a complementary piece of dark chocolate. It's a smooth dark chocolate and not an over powering bitter one. The atmosphere feels cozier than other places. I like it better than Starbucks for sure!

The food was delicious and the service was great. The ambience is "lights low" with a cross between romantic feel and an ice cream parlor.

What a fabulous place. If ever there was an elegant chocolate store, this is it. With various seating areas available and of course the finest chocolate in town, the state, perhaps the country... I am personally a big fan of the salted caramel 5-packs. To me, one of those packs constitutes 1 serving. My favorite is the Connoisseur Collection, and my top 3 are: Passion - refreshing white chocolate fruit ganache in milk chocolate - accurate description, I like it because it is not overly sweet, maybe even a bit tart, fruity, light, yummy... Cassia - a Vietnamese cassia cinnamon ganache with a touch of sweet pear in milk chocolate - sounds weird but is so good, not the harsh cinnamon we are used to, but more like a little subdued undertone Raspberry Balsamic - Balsamic vinegar, sweet basil and tart raspberry in white chocolate - this sounds horrible, but it works. Be careful when biting into it as the center is a thick liquid which can drip all over. this is sweet and tart and fruity all over. I took a tour here over the weekend. I did learn a lot and enjoyed the samples along the way, however, I would advise to take the tour during the week when there are folks actually working in the various areas. I think that would make it much more interesting than to just look at the different stations. The same day coupon came in handy, as I bought up the store after the tour. Unfortunately they do NOT serve affogato at this location... booh

Breakfast at DeBrand's, a must for any chocolate lover! Their stores have convenient hours, and two locations in Fort Wayne. We started our morning with a Turtle Sundae, and finished it off in the evening with a shopping spree of their luxurious chocolates! DeBrand's is doing America proud. In the middle of the heartland is this chocolatier that specializes in all things chocolate. Their shops are absolutely stunning, and elegant, with helpful, courteous, staff. It is an absolute treat. They host bridal showers, baby showers, etc. They have convenient hours, so you can stop in for early morning shopping, or after dinner dessert, but you will want to leave with a goodie bag of their awesome chocolates. I love everything about DeBrand's.

I've been craving dessert lately that isn't a big tub of Kroger vanilla ice cream. I took my two younger sisters with me to try the famous Debrand's sundae that I've seen so many people rave and post about. When you pull into the parking lot, you can immediately tell how nice this chocolate place is with the pretty exterior, but the interior blew me away. It was nicely decorated and the chocolates were beautifully displayed in the glass cases at the counter. For the sundae, you have the option of choosing what kind of chocolate (milk or dark), the (2) toppings, and nuts (which are optional). It costs $8.50 for a plate of a small round of ice cream with the toppings decorating it. It was a bit pricey for the amount of ice cream on the plate. Overall, the sundae was great on a hot day and hit the sweet tooth craving. I'm glad I split it with my sisters though because it was a bit too sweet for me.

I know my pictures are not high quality but the quality of this dessert still shines through! The absolute best and my personal favorite sundae I have ever had. This is our families special treat sundae. And is it ever special! The inside of this facility is so comfortable. It's like a mix of a low key coffee shop had a baby with a locally owned ice cream place and the result is the nest of both worlds. I'm relaxed while I eat which makes the eating taste better! DeBrands is known for their high quality and attention to detail. It is not missed in this sundae. I had 3 toppings: PB, raspberry, caramel...the raspberry is not a topping I choose often but it sets the tone here. Perfect match of zest and refreshing delight to the smooth creamy ice cream and the bold but easy to eat dark chocolate. Love it! We scraped the dishes. If I was t with my wife I would have licked them! lol What a unique place for our local area. Hit it up and be guaranteed of good results. Our experience with the young ladies who helped us was also personable and pleasant. Very fun!

I love coming here whenever I'm back in Fort Wayne. I usually come here for the sundaes and get milk chocolate with caramel and raspberry drizzle and pecans and get an iced caramel. The best spot to go to for a cute little dessert date or to take your family to.

My husband and I swung in here after we saw it by chance and OMG it is amazing. The inside is very nice and posh and the chocolate is fantastic. We bought 4 truffles (mocha, Caramel, Peanut butter, and another mocha because I love coffee), my husband got the dark hot cocoa to go and I got the java to go. The truffles were fantastic. They were half eggs(in shape) and wrapped beautifully in a very nice box with gold thread and every single one of them was very good, but my java was simply amazing. It was one of the best coffee drinks I have purchased in a while. The hot cocoa was ok, but a prefer my cocoa to be on the thicker side and this one was a bit more watery in texture. I would absolutely recommend and go back to DeBrand.

Today was a great day to stop in for the most amazing sundaes! This is a great reward for good grades in our house. We had dark chocolate, raspberry sauce and pecans. We also had the milk chocolate, peanut butter sauce and pecans. Talk about mind blowing toppings!! Each bite is like a flavor explosion of fantastic chocolate. I enjoyed the sweet and tart taste of the dark chocolate paired with the raspberry. The crunch of the pecans is a fantastic compliment. Due to the restrictions of the virus, we were only able to eat them outside in to go packages. While the flavor was there, it's always nice to have the dine in experience. Hopefully good grades will continue so we can come back again!

So good, in every way. If you are in the mood for elegant ice cream, this is your place. Beautiful to look at, and a treat to eat! I chose vanilla ice cream in a milk chocolate cup with caramel and milk chocolate sauces, and pecans. Divine! Perfectly balanced sweet and salty. I wish I could eat it every day! And gluten free to boot. Paired with coffee it was perfection.

I love DeBrand chocolates and recently came to this location for the first time. It is bigger than the one at Jefferson Point I usually go to and a cute spot to meet up with a friend or go on a date. I did the chocolate tour with some friends and had a great experience! They give several samples during the tour and it's interesting to see the behind the scenes. You also get a coupon for your purchase that same day! Score!

We host a client event at DeBrand every year and have a blast! Our clients love being able to try all of the chocolates. The employees do a great job at keeping our chocolate trays stocked as well as our water and coffee filled.

We hosted a baby shower at DeBrands. The staff was great, very accommodating and enjoyable to work with. The sundae bar was a big hit. Good location and a beautiful place.

Restaurant review **BEST DESSERT** So far since moving to Fort Wayne, Debrand appears to have the market on the best dessert in town. This is the main location where the chocolate factory is located. They offer tours for 5 dollars which includes a 5 dollar off 10 dollar coupon at the end that can be stacked together so essentially you get the tour for free if you buy chocolate afterwards. These tours would occur on Tues, Thursday, and Saturday. Make sure to get there early or you may have to wait for the batches of groups to go through. I have been on two of the tours and they have been different both times. You start with watching a video then are lead into the different areas where the chocolate is made. You get some samples each step of the way. The first time they actually had 2 truffles that you got to sample, the next time it was just smaller pieces of chocolate (maybe this was due to us visiting after Valentine's day). Overall I am impressed and if you have time and plan to buy chocolate anyways, go on the tour for the samples! The actual purchasing of dessert and chocolate can get quite busy after the tours, so be prepared to wait. Overall this is a great family or date experience and I highly recommend it!

Really the best there is. DeBrand has rocked out the chocolate scene in Fort Wayne for as long as I can remember. I try to stop by for a sundae every time I'm visiting family in the area. Always great presentation and great flavor. I do miss some of their other desserts as I remember some options besides the sundae from a couple years ago, but I usually got the sundae anyway, so I'll survive. Beautiful space, classy music, overall a great stop for really anytime, whether it's date night or girls night or just out running errands. Also an awesome spot for events!

This fine chocolate place is all hearts my friends from Fort Wayne got these for us and we've been in love since!! They have got assorted varieties of chocolates and truffles. The assortment can be boxed in different box sizes and can be mixed n matches for trials! They also do have chocolate ice cream and gelatos but not more than 2 flavors, so it's good to try but not an ice cream place with variety. But would definitely recommend the place for fine chocolates.

I love DeBrand. I have always loved DeBrand. In years of visiting (never regularly, but always excitedly), I have never been disappointed. From date nights to business meetings, DeBrand is a beautiful setting for whatever takes you out of the house. Oh, and it tastes incredible! The attention to detail in atmosphere is only surpassed by the care given to their chocolates. They are exquisitely crafted and impeccably displayed. The most painful part of patronizing is picking from the plethora of guilty pleasures. As previously mentioned, I have never been dissatisfied with any selection (just my limited resources that necessitate modesty when ordering). Thank you DeBrand for consistently offering exceptional sweets in a welcoming atmosphere that is serviced by friendly staff!

DeBrand is always our favorite dessert treat when in the area! This time we used the party room for a dessert bridal shower and it was wonderful. The ice cream sundaes, chocolate trees, cozy ambiance and the friendly staff make this such a special place. DeBrand offers you an experience from beginning to end. Our Public Relations contact confirmed room set up, and menu offerings a week in advance and it was flawless! And can we just talk about the presentation and taste of their sundaes...YUMMM Can't wait for caramel apple season!

Yesterday was my first DeBrand factory tour. It was actually a lot of fun, super informative, and made me appreciate the way this chocolate is made. We got to sample several different chocolates and it is kid friendly. This is the best chocolate I've ever had in my life. It is on a level of its own. I kept hearing how delicious the Sundaes were. I just couldn't imagine how it could be that much better than anything else, until I tried it. It is worth every penny. Their ice cream is homemade and any of toppings are incredibly delicious with it. My absolute favorite thing here are the truffles. The keylime truffle is incredible and I can't decide if it's better than the caramel filled or the milk chocolate. This chocolate is the best I have ever had and it stands alone !!!!

The classic DeBrand chocolate is the place to go for fine desserts in Fort Wayne (I leave the baked goods to Waynedale Bakery-they are a MUST VISIT as well!). As a quick treat I got a hot dark cocoa, my girl got a milk hot cocoa made with almond milk and my brother got a cookies and cream chocolate shake. All were to die for! I love their turtles and some of their fine chocolate selection is heavenly!

I got the cone. It was phenomenal! I loved it. It took a little longer than expected and we were the only customers there. Didn't understand the delay. What I loved was the chocolate the ice cream was covered in. It was rich and creamy. It melts into your mouth like how chocolate should. It wasn't one of those dipped chocolates that break apart into pieces when you bite into it. The one thing I didn't like was that it was dripping right away. Once I held the cone, I had ice cream all over my fingers so I had to eat it right away. It was mostly the top that was melting so quickly but once you suck all the soup out, you're eating solid ice cream from there on. Would come back here again and try the other things on their menu!

This is our absolute favorite chocolate shop. We always get the milk chocolate turtles and individual pieces. They have a wide selection of milk chocolate and dark chocolate pieces with fillings, or you can get truffles. Everything we have ever had there has been delicious. This is my go-to for Christmas gifts as they ship all over the US and our families look forward to them every year. When we are on the shop, they have a menu for ice cream sundaes and other dessert food items. My favorite is the chocolate raspberry sauce but I like the peanut butter sundae too. They also have a separate room if you want to have an event there such as a bridal shower or birthday party. Make sure to ask if they have a daily trial piece because most often you can get a piece of their chocolate to try for free. Just remember, once you try this place no chocolate will ever compare. It's pretty addictive.

An 8oz. box with given to me by my employer. I had no clue of the name brand whatsoever. I was estatic to find that the "milk chocolates" did not upset my stomach as I am lactose intolerance! And they were all delicious chocolates! Too bad there's not a store in Cali! But yeah, one of the best fine chocolates by far!

Why can't there be a DeBrand's in Michigan?!?!? This place is just perfect inside and out. Of course I'm saying that because I'm a chocoholic, but to actually go here is something special. Not only is the chocolate rich, full of flavor, and presented beautifully, but the interior is exquisite. Unfortunately my memory of the the way the shop looks on the inside is foggy, but I know it was gorgeous. One trip when I was in Ft. Wayne to see my family, my mom took me here for the first time. We shared a sundae that was so rich with chocolate we couldn't finish it--it was the best sundae ever! Every year for my birthday my parents get me a box of truffles from DeBrand's. I hope to come back soon and see the place again :)

Some of the best chocolate creations you'll ever taste. We went to the Auburn Rd location on the north side of the city for dessert. Great way to end a Saturday night. The only dissapointment was they don't offer their Smores treat anymore... Always a favorite with the kids.

Went here to use some time before a future appointment. Immediately on going and are very helpful and they took our orders and we took a number and we sat a table. We ordered three cones one for each of us and when they came out they were huge and when I took a bite the chocolate was really thick on it. This is not your typical Dairy Queen cone dipped in chocolate. When they dip these cones they are probably dipped about five times. Wonderful for all chocolate lovers! The person that brought out the cones went back and got us some plates and some spoons because she knew that we would need them and she offered them I did not even have to ask. We also each had a raspberry truffle each and it was very scrumptious. The atmosphere was really nice and quiet even though they were busy. You felt very laid-back in there. Needless to say it was a lovely experience I definitely will be going back and my kids will probably be begging me to go back. LOL

Met my LFG team for a gathering at DeBrands and had a GREAT time!! I got a turtle sundae which was amazing and our server was extremely helpful and accommodating!! The Sunday tasted as good as it looked!! Also, if you've never done the tour, it's a must!! It will make you appreciate the quality and taste of their products even more!

I live in NYC, but I've never found a peanut butter cup better than DeBrands. They are so good, and I get them shipped to me all the time.

I visit annually during the Vera Bradley sale and always enjoy my time here. If you've never been, try to get on one of the tours. They pass out tasty samples of things you may not otherwise try. It's fun to see how it's all made and hear more about the production. Their menu is huge, so check it out online, especially if you plan on buying things as gifts to take home. The most popular item I've seen is the sundae. You can customize it with your choice of sauce and topping, plus it comes in a chocolate bowl. YUM! The truffles are fantastic and are pretty big for the price. The smaller collection that offers exotic flavors packs a punch considering their size. Favorites include: Caramel, Mocha, Cheese & Chocolate, and Raspberry Balsamic. I bought a few Peanut Butter & Jelly, but haven't had them yet. The turtles ... well, they call them something else ... they're fantastic!

Since I have been dating my love who lives in Fort Wayne,he makes it a habit to treat me to DeBrand Fine Chocolate. They are a bit pricey, but I love them just the same. I'm from NWI, so Fanny Mae is my prefer choice, but there are some chocolate that have FM beat. I just love when my love and I go into the store and they have something new they just created. We just like to try things out and have a tasting. We make it a point to stop here when I am in town and I am sure this tradition with remain for a long while with DeBrand Fine Chocolate.

Perfection !!!! When u first walk in the store it is so well designed . So romantic and classy. There's so much chocolate to choose from... They have really nice tables and chairs. in the back they have a very nice seating area, perfect for a big group of friends/family . There chocolates are always on point. Def going back

An absolute delight to end the day at Debrands. Their menu, albeit short, is truly a force to be reckoned with and can be expanded by the variety of customizations offered. One of the best chocolate shops I've had the pleasure of sampling!

How am I just now reviewing DeBrand's?! DeBrand is the bees knees of chocolate. It is the best chocolate in Fort Wayne. In Indiana. In the US. Seriously...I have yet to try better. Willing to taste as many chocolates needed to continue to rate DeBrand the best in class. DeBrand now has 4 locations around the- a new one just opened in the Ash Building downtown. My favorite has always been the one on Auburn Rd. It is the biggest and to me the most romantic. (I have not visited the downtown yet). As if getting chocolate wasn't enough, they have a full dessert menu. Craving something sweet after dinner? Head over to DeBrand and split a sundae or one of their famous caramel apples...beware the apples are a little pricey ($20-$30)/piece ...but they are the creme de la creme of caramel apples. My ultimate fav piece of chocolate is the European Heart. oOoOOOO all the hazelnut goodness. BUT I will say after recently trying the dark chocolate, raspberry filled I may have a tiebreaker. It was the best rasp chocolate I have ever tasted. Probably because their ingredients are natural and top notch. I can't recommend DeBrand enough, whether its a box of chocolates for that special someone, a date night cap, or simply stopping by for a few chocolates on the way home!

Haven't gone to Debrands for their famous chocolate tour, so I went about two weeks ago and omg was it fun! Shoutout to my tour guide Taylor for being so informative and entertaining at the same time! I didn't know how big the company actually was until the tour. Kudos to Debrands especially since they're local! The chocolate just melts in your mouth, caramel is the perfect consistency, good ratio of nuts.. You can really taste the love in every bite. Do the tour if you haven't already! It is worth it since you get quite a bit of samples :)
