"Decatur Market, located on East Howard Avenue, closed after only nine months of operation. The windows are papered over, and a note on the door expresses gratitude for the support. The specific reasons for closure remain unclear, but there is speculation about the impact of rising rents." - Beth McKibben

Thank you for the excellent service and delicious lunch Rasaan!(sp) They have beer and wine, toiletries, snacks, candy, Cheerwine in a glass bottle, fresh flowers, Ratio bakeshop fresh bread and pastries, a coffee bar, and anything else you would need on the go. Decatur is so lucky to have you guys and gals!

Great addition to Decatur!! A much needed market that is open more than courthouse hours! And on top of that they have great sandwiches at the deli and an even better beer an wine selection!! The amount of local products is great as well yogurt, coffee, cheese, and of course beer!

Perfect neighborhood store for Decatur. We love coming here. A great place to get a sandwich or cup of coffee. Great beer/wine/cheese selection. Lots of local and small business products on the shelf to support. Even supply some household needs like Decatur city trash bags.

I adore this market, and the fact that I can walk to it from home is just the icing on the cake! Fantastic selection of everything from Spotted Trotter jerky to great sandwiches and amazing, fresh pastries (the black-and-white cookies are to die for, as are the cream-filled cookies and the brownies!). All the wonderful people who work here are so friendly and welcoming, and I couldn't be more excited that they're in our neighborhood!

Great store. Not just a beer / wine store. Lots of local options, including kombucha, sparkling water. They have lots of snacks options too - olives, hummus, crackers, cheese, meats, sorbet, King of Pops. They have a cute & delicious little deli that even has some vegetarian and vegan options. They have a very nice wine & beer selections. Great convenient stop & super friendly staff.

Conteniently located in the hustle and bustle of the chic center of Decatur, this new neighborhood spot is a go to for grab and go items. Need a bottle of wine to have with dinner or a quick breakfast, because there was no time? From chips to bread, they strive to fill what locals need. I suggest you stop in and look around if you live in the area or are there for a meeting. They keep adding things and welcome your feedback.

I work down the street, first visit impressed, sandwich was great. I thought the value was there for a gourmet sandwich (12.74 w/chips). Second visit same sandwich, not as good. Today, same sandwich, horrible... cold, no arugula, no tomatoes, no red onion, very very little mayo (like that's all the mayo left on the planet, it was so thin, it was clear) even though I asked for extra. I'll not be back, shame.

A space with a lot of potential but missing the mark. The wine and beer selection is decent, and I had a great sandwich, but would be better to sacrifice some of grocery aisles for more fresh produce and provisions, something desperately needed in Downtown Decatur.
