"Deck 84 is a popular restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway in Delray Beach. Whether by foot or boat, diners have been enjoying the food and views since 2010. Start with the baked spinach and cheese dip before moving on to the cornmeal-crusted chicken sandwich, made with crispy chicken breast, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon on a toasted pretzel bun." - J. Miller

My kids and I had a great experience , the location is unbeatable—right on the water with beautiful views and a laid-back atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. Food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Whether you're just stopping by for a drink or sitting down for a full meal, Deck 84 is a solid choice in Delray Beach. Highly recommend for a relaxing dining experience!

Google
Wonderful place with a patio right on the water. They also have two different levels of dining rooms that are beautiful. I had the Smashburger double patty absolutely wonderful and The fries were killer, the sushi was absolutely delicious my Girl loved it and the sushi servings are more than generous. Take note they do have gluten-free Soy sauce at request. We’ll be back no doubt about it. There is quite a few roles on that sushi menu. We want to try..

Stopped by Deck 84 in Delray for brunch and had a great experience. There was a bit of a wait to sit by the bar area or near the water, but it wasn’t bad—we ended up grabbing an open seat by the bar and got a couple of drinks and just enjoyed the atmosphere. I had an avocado on toast breakfast, which was fresh and satisfying. A live band was just setting up as we were eating, which added to the vibe. Overall, it’s a fun, laid-back spot right on the water with good food, drinks, and live music. Hard to go wrong with that combo.

Google
Casual dining on the water. If you have a boat, you can pull right up. Vallet parking was only $8. Food was okay, not spectacular, not bad. The service was good. I would go back. The bathroom was clean.

Google
It is a beautiful spot by the water in downtown Delray Beach. The food was good. Great service from the server. They have live music on Sunday during brunch. This is a good spot for you to brunch it at.

Google
I ordered the "fresh catch", smoked fish dip and the Delray bowl. Everything was delicious, the service was also very good. I drank 1 beer. It all cost $116. I would say that this is not a $20-30 restaurant, but $30-50 per person.

Google
Great find for a good dinner. Diverse menu and several dinner choices. Eating outside and have a nice view of the boats on the Intercoastal Waterway.

Google
Average food and service at above average prices. I had the brisket tacos (2) ( the brisket was tough) at these prices, 20+ i expected better. My friend had the meat loaf (around $30) he said it was good but not good enough that he would return. To park it will cost you $8 valet only other option is street metered parking. I arrived at 415 and asked for a view. i received i table in the second row. I asked about the 8 or 9 tables in front of me and was told they were reserved. The 4 of us finished at 515. All the tables in front were still empty. I'm afraid I won't be returning. There's plenty of places in the area with better food, better service, and as good of a view.

Yelp
How many entries have I Posted for Deck 84 ?!? Kianna our waitress was charming and very informative when we asked her question about the menu Going at an odd time always works for me" us older folks" We can hear ourselves talk while viewing the activities on the intercostal I told her , too young for her to remember , that I use to come when it was Bushes. I like it more now with the casual " come as is" kind of ambiance Ty for a lovely meal and a place to impress out of town visitors Jackie S

Yelp
The sever and service was great. But my client and I both got violent food poisoning shortly after eating. We both had the guac and both had burgers. Hope everyone that ate there 2/5 at 12pm is good.

Jamie N.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots in Delray. Casual outdoor dining with excellent food and live music. Service is always friendly and fun. Try the skinny margaritas, the chicken wings are some of the best we've ever had, and I highly recommend the spicy tuna roll for some freshness. Spice level is low. Deck84 is a guaranteed good time

Yelp
We had such a good experience here. We were a group of 8 and k would say they did avery good job serving us. Everyone wanted different things from calamari, salads, drinks and more. The weather wasn't great with intermittent rain so they had to roll down the window shades and then roll th up again but they did it with a smile. agnes have parking but it is $8 for valet and there really aren't any other options. They have a vibrant bar scene whether you come during the day or evening- amindbyoh at night the music is very loud. They are located on the water which is a very cool place to be.

Yelp
While on vacation with our pup we stopped here for lunch. No regrets - not only puppy friendly, but great food and friendly staff. Pro tip: There is a dog menu that benefits vets honoring heroes. Our pup loved the chicken dish. Pro tip 2: valet parking is offered. Place does get busy so plan ahead. Tacos were delish.

Yelp
Coming here was a great experience the food tasted great. Our server did mention the food will come out at different times if it's from sushi or main kitchen but all of our food came out at weird times with our apps coming out at the same time as our main meals. The atmosphere is great and welcoming. If you have a boat this is also a great place to tie up your boat and enjoy a great meal.

Kat N.

Yelp
Had a good meal with a friend, inside since the wait was over 20 minutes for outside. We had a room to ourselves! Most folks were at the bar listening to the live band, but we came to eat not party! We had the empanadas which were really tasty, and the guacamole which was a huge portion.

Maria F.

Yelp
Nice restaurant on the intercoastal. The service is always friendly and quick. The food is not top-notch, but it is pretty decent. I definitely think it is overpriced, but I understand you're also paying for the ambience on the water. I've been here a few times but mostly because of the atmosphere, not necessarily because of the food. This last time I went, we were pretty upset that they were not doing happy hour during winter break even though we did not go on the day of a holiday. This was also not advertised. We only found out from our waiter.

Loretta C.

Yelp
We brought our three pups to lunch here for the first time. It's great to find a nice waterfront restaurant that allows pets inside. They have a great deck for those who enjoy an outside dining experience and a full bar. They also have dockage for your boat if you are interested. They valet your car for $8 which was convenient. We enjoyed sushi, tacos and the krab rangoon nachos appetizer. The service was great. We enjoyed the corner booth where we watched the boats go by while feeling the nice breeze coming big through the slider doors. Bring your catch for the chef to prepare for you. We definitely will visit again sometime soon.

Yelp
Had a great experience recently with my brother and the wives. Great ambiance and nice to be on the water, although a little bit loud. Food was very solid and for what they are going for they nailed it. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp that came a with a good balance of dressing, shrimps, lettuce, and croutons. We got the smash burger with fries, which was very tasty and fries were nicely crispy. For apps we shared the general's cauliflower, an interesting tangy and Asian take on the side. We also shared passion fruit mojito, which was a bit sweet and like most of the drinks pricey (although I suppose $15 cocktails are the norm in a place like downtown Delray). Overall good food but nothing special, so why 5 stars? Objectively it's not a five star restaurant, but it does achieve what it is trying to achieve perfectly (gastro pub with expected fare), so in that sense it's five stars. It's kind of like if you go see a dumb comedy, knowing it's a dumb comedy, and it achieves the goal of being a dumb comedy with perfection, maybe that's five stars because you weren't looking for a drama or a documentary (the Ebert standard).

Yelp
While on vacation in Florida we decided to check out Deck 84. It was a neat place right on the water! We ordered the spinach and cheese dip. It was very good and recommended. I ordered the Hawaiian fried rice. It was sweet and spicy. The atmosphere was great with live music playing and boats driving by. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Fay C.

Yelp
Great spot for a quick drink at the bar. I headed over there on A Saturday night and it was pretty busy. They have valet service for $8 which I thought was reasonably priced for a weekend. I had a generous glass of Cabernet which was also reasonably priced! Loved the relaxed ambience.

Susan N.

Yelp
I came here with my family who were visiting from out of town. Looking for a casual restaurant on the water. We found Deck 84 and decided to give it a try. We thought the food was very good. We had the Smashburger, blackened fish sandwich, an omelette, and the chicken and shrimp fried rice. All the food was delicious. The service was friendly and timely. We only had one issue and it was with our cocktails, and without asking the manager refunded us for the cost, because they were not up to par for his standards. Their customer service is above and beyond! Overall the experience and food at this restaurant was awesome and we will definitely be back!

Tiffani W.

Yelp
Give me a chill spot overlooking the water with a unique happy hour menu and I'll call it my happy place! Deck 84 did not disappoint. I'm originally from RI but I live outside of landlocked Atlanta now so I miss these types of establishments. My daughter lives in Del Ray but I introduced her to it. We tried some sushi, wings, the krab rangoon nachos (sooo good) and the drinks were half of. I tried the pool boy because my fav alcohol is 1800 coconut. They offer value parking. It was $5 and there is indoor and outdoor seating and both areas have bars. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely keep this place on my list when I'm in town visiting my daughter.

Star B.

Yelp
Ambience was niiice and in a good location! SCORE!! Customer service was just okay. Most of the food was okay. I noticed a guy with a cane wanted to set at a larger table with his wife and the hostess denied them. Because table is to seat more people. I didn't like that because the restaurant was WIDE open. It was not full at all and many large tables available... I counted 4 large tables! I pay attention to everything going on around me ;) Anyway back to the FOOD... The Crab cake was really good. I'd get that again Garlic Brocollini is in the menu but they do not have that anymore and the pic of the chocolate cake on yelp is not the same looking cake at the restaurant. The rest of the team enjoyed their food. I also had shrimp tempura sushi. It was okay but would not order again. I'd return if the team wanted to....

Maura L.

Yelp
The only problem is have with Deck 84 is it's so hard to choose what to order! I split an order of the wings with friends and they were very tasty and perfectly cooked, making them a bit crispy. I also ordered the delicious deck burger without the egg, which was packed with flavor and probably one of the best burgers i have ever had. I look forward to returning and trying more in the menu!

Nathalia N.

Yelp
This is a cute, colorful, restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and beautiful water view. The server was friendly and attentive. For a party of 9, the food came out within 15-20 mins. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. Will return and wait for a seat outside next time.

Jamie K.

Yelp
Had a good experience, the server was great. The view is very nice however it did start to rain but the over hang did cover it well. We got the Smashburger, which was delicious. I would definitely go back for that. We also got the Cobb salad, which is a must so if we go back, those would be the two meals. We would absolutely get if somebody else came. We would have them try something new and steal some of their food, otherwise it's fun basic to go to if you want to see the water. We had some drinks that were normal drinks nothing special.

George G.

Yelp
Outside seating on the water next to the draw bridge that was fun to watch had the baja fish tacos see picture crispy fish slaw on top was tasty homemade possibly quick service 22$ tacos and a tea limited menu didnt seem like it had a lot of options

Gianna S.

Yelp
This is such a great spot to grab dinner if you're in Del Rey! I've been coming with my family for years, and just came back again for the first time in a while. The art and wall decor are amazing and the staff is so friendly. We had Patty as our server - she took such good care of us! From walking us through the specials to answering our many questions, patty was knowledgeable and kind. She even got my toddlers order in quickly so it came out before everyone else's (at our request). Patty checked in with us often and was super helpful throughout the entire experience! If you have a toddler, you know how meaningful it is to have an attentive server at a restaurant. And now onto the food - every dish was delicious and cooked to our specifications. I loved my tuna poke bowl - the serving size was just right. We all shared the flat bread which was a tasty appetizer. Highly recommend!!

Sam N.

Yelp
Cute atomosphere and good food with unique recipe. Calamari had some banana pepper on top and marinara sauce had a hit of something really good but I cannot tell what it is. Pork chop had some creamy sauce and there's pineapple in it like sweet sour pork. And I loved the seasoning on the burger.

Robin H.

Yelp
Haven't been to deck 84 in awhile, went for a few drinks and appetizers with a friend, sat at the bar, we had guacamole and the tuna tostadas everything was so good.. We had the sweetest bartender named Shannon.. She was so attentive, food and service were great! Love the vibe on the water..

Melinda K.

Yelp
What a great find! I have been to Delray many times, but never here. Hard to find a view of the water in Delray, and they have it. Highly recommend sitting in the bar area because you are a bit higher up and have more of a breeze and a view of the intercoastal. Drinks were 1/2 off for their summer happy hour Monday - Friday, and the fish tacos were fresh, abundant, and perfectly seasoned.

Evelyn P.

Yelp
The sushi and crab cakes were good but the crab cake was overpriced. The poke bowl with all 3 fish was tasty. The drinks we were not happy with... We ordered a Miami vice and Pina colada neither was served frozen, so we were surprised. I switched to a mojito and it was disappointing again... it was more like mint leaves, vodka and club soda just placed in a cup with ice. The mint leaves should be muddled with sugar and limes. Your average basic overrated restaurant with a view. Our server was attentive and we appreciated her hard work.

Janice H.

Yelp
This is a casual restaurant. The food came out quickly. We had shrimp tacos and it was filled with a lot of shrimp. It's messy to eat them because they are overstuffed. The burger was OK. Our server was friendly. We live about an hour away and we were in the area and had this on our list to try. I'm glad we finally did, but I wouldn't travel to go there again. A huge menu with lots of options. We sat on the inside, but outside had good water views. The views are better than the food.

Yelp
Best cocktail on Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach! Frozè (Frozen cocktail including Rosè, Vodka, strawberries)

Joel Jz Z.

Yelp
This is a really great Burt Rapoport restaurant group restaurant on the intercoastal in Delray Beach right on Atlantic Ave. We got to this location on a Monday night with a full house and a fun atmosphere. The staff at the reservation desk put us in a perfect table on the water. Kianna was our server, and she was excellent. Kianna made some great suggestions for apps and dinner for us and steered us away from the not as popular dishes. Plus, she made our wives happy by suggesting the more popular drinks. We had the delicious Gen Tsao's cauliflower and the smoked fish dip. Dinners for the table included a yummy Blackend Shrimp salad, Cevichè bowl, Seafood Mac and cheese, Flatbread, and I went with the really tasty Schnitzel with a white sweet potato mash. Tickled every tast bud on that dish! The manager remembered us from a prior property and stopped by to check in. It's really nice dining at affordable pricing!

Laurie M.

Yelp
We enjoyed a delightful lunch at Deck 84 when my nephew was visiting from out of town. The food was great, the portions plentiful, and service was great! The prices were a bit high, but you're also paying for the view and top of everything else that went well. Great place to go with out of toe nets or just to enjoy a special meal with a great ambiance!

Madison S.

Yelp
Quick and easy to get a table outside on a Thursday, staff was friendly. Food was overall lackluster - the fish sandwich lacked enough seasoning. The French fries are pretty good though. The table also was covered in stains. Can't say much about this place other than you're paying for the out door experience .

Thalia B.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, I had the burger and didn't really love it. But the service is amazing. And the ambiance is great as well. Great views. I would definitely come back.

Steve Z.

Yelp
This is a great spot to pull up by boat and enjoy delicious food while watching the boats go by on the Intracoastal. Pulled up by boat, had assistance docking and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch. Three guys had the Shrimp Tacos, one had the Brisket Tacos and I enjoyed the Mahi sandwich. The place runs like a well oiled machine, everyone from the bus people to the wait staff is top notch.

Bhumi P.

Yelp
Went to Deck 84 for a late linch/early dinner so I only got an appetizer, drinks and a dessert. However, the food I did try was great and the outdoor seating/view was nice. They do have live music so, it does get loud and crowded. But overall a good time.

Ryan L.

Yelp
While waiting for the Delray Holiday boat parade to start, we walked across the street to Deck 84 to grab some food to go. We got two sushi rolls, chicken, wings, and broccoli cheddar soup, all items were amazing. We definitely want to end this review with a huge shout out to the hostess Maddy She was so sweet and kind and helped us out and recommend food items. She made sure we had everything from napkins to silverware. She was so helpful. She was an amazing hostess and made the experience even that more special.

Susan K.

Yelp
Had a fine time at this restaurant with friends who were visiting from abroad. I've been to this restaurant many times, and always enjoy the setting, but the food is sometimes just OK. They now have a revamped menu with lots of interesting dishes, including excellent tuna, sushi, and a cauliflower dish. We ordered many items and shared them all, and they were all superb. The drinks were also very good.

Molly G.

Yelp
We had an awesome lunch here today. Brought our fish that we caught and Ireland immediately offered up all of the options for cooking. We decided to have the do half pan cooked and half Cajun tacos. She brought out a beautiful spread with all of the toppings. It was a 10! Ireland's service was a 10! Can't wait to come back again!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Casey was a SUPERB server!!! Extremely sweet and attentive ! Our food was delicious!! Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Kalei H.

Yelp
We sat right on the deck on the water. Really nice restaurant. We all enjoyed our food and the drinks were amazing. Two of us had poke bowls that were a hit.

Theresa L.

Yelp
Happened upon this riverfront spot during a work trip. Caught the last day of restaurant month in Del Ray, enjoyed Mediterranean Steak Skewers. It was delicious. The service was great from the hostess team to the servers.

Stephanie F.

Yelp
I love this place especially the location! Kayla, the hostess is so sweet. I got the Deck 84 sushi roll. It was truly amazing. Lauren , our server was great too! Definitely a great spot on the water.

S G.

Yelp
Made a reservation for a group of 12 women. We were promptly seated inside with a view of the water. Very pretty location! It was tough to choose an appetizer because they all looked great. We went with General Tso cauliflower and guacamole. Wine, cosmos, frozen margaritas and Manhttans were met with rave reviews. Smash burgers, salads, shrimp tacos and flatbread pizzas were the mains. Everyone was full and happy. Best experience provided by our waitress Patty. She was fantastic and we loved her recommendations. Thanks for your great service!

Audrey L.

Yelp
We came for a late snack after cruising on Lady Atlantic across the way along the Intercostal. This is also on the intercostal which is a fabulous spot. Unfortunately, they only had inside tables available. We were lucky however to have had Michele as our waitress who is sweet as pie and very efficient. We were two couples who both ordered exactly the same thing. Baja fish tacos and we shared one entree each with our husbands. The order consisted of 3 tacos each. It was tasty, and it hit the spot. We would definitely return on another occasion especially to try their other fish entrees.

Sharon D.

Yelp
So good! Beautiful decor, comfortable seating, great view of the water and very extensive menu. We were here for lunch and were very happy with our meal and overall experience. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Pro tip - check the back of the menu for the daily happy hour special. On Mondays, they offer a buy one dip, get one free so we had to order a smoked fish and spinach dip. Both were very good. We ordered a mushroom flatbread, burger and pasta Primavera and everyone was happy. The Primavera had a sun dried tomato pesto that my daughter really enjoyed. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it!

Drew G.

Yelp
We love to come here for the atmosphere more than anything else. It's Sunday afternoon on New Years Eve and there is live music at the outside bar on the water and it is amazing.

Lilian A.

Yelp
This place is great. We decided to do a brunch somewhere new. It was 6 of us and we wanted to sit outside ( I think most people had the same idea because the deck was packed ). The indoors decor is a "whatever", the outside is just lovely because you get the breeze. The plate size are pretty big. We left pretty full. There were some dishes that could have been shared between two people. Service was good. My only complaint is that two people in our party ordered a fish dish and when it got to the table we could smell it was rotten. They hid the smell because it was deep fried, that's why so many people were eating it but we're not dumb, we're from Cuba and know good seafood. Just keep an eye out on the fish it may or may not be fresh. Anyways, everything was great, we enjoyed it very much. You have to valet park unless you want to walk over.

Andrea R.

Yelp
My favorite place in DELRAY Beach! The food and service, Krissy our server who was amazing and wow the atmosphere is five star and beyond! We started with the fish dip perfectly seasoned. My white cosmo had a perfect sweetness to it with an island vibe. It's a taco lunch day we all ordered tacos with shrimp, fish and beef with flavors that burst in your mouth! The live music was rocking with an atmosphere of rock and roll we sat and hung out with again an island vibe watching boats up and down the inter coastal water ways! Ok here ya go we the desert was a double chocolate cake and a homemade apple crisp and ice cream delight! Thank you for Julian helping with the stain in my friends shirt!

Jeremy B.

Yelp
I come to this spot a few times a year, usually when someone is visiting from out of town and you want to show them a little of what SoFla is all about. I only sit outside, that's what makes this place great. Open air, covered bar area with lots of tables all with a view of the intercostal so you can enjoy a little breeze while watching boats go by and listening to island/yacht music. We didn't have live music this time, but wouldn't be surprised if they did later that afternoon. Bar area got crowded after we sat down, likely due to college football games starting, especially the Hurricanes in an early game. My Bloody Mary was just so-so. Far from the days they had a Bloody Mary bar and you could make your own. I ordered the blackened shrimp salad (Brutus?) and my gf got the southwest chicken salad. Both were delicious and filling. The food isn't the main attraction here, so I was extremely happy with the salads. As always, everyone from bartender to hostess to server was extremely friendly. More reasonable prices would make this a 5 star review, but $75 for 2 salads and a Bloody Mary is the main reason I don't frequent this place. Plus, they don't offer any parking, only $7 valet service. Boooo!

Ken G.

Yelp
The food is mediocre at best, the parking is terrible, and the prices are extremely high

Todd F.

Yelp
Great Entertaiment great food will be back Great view the customer service was also very good

Richard D.

Yelp
We went to Deck 84 for their Weekend Brunch and were pleasantly surprised. Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach is extremely busy, driving at 5 mph gave us a chance to check out all the restaurants and people watch. Luckily, they have valet parking, so we were happy to not search for a parking spot. We sat on their outside deck on the intercoastal, and the view was spectacular. If you have company from the frozen tundra up North, this is the place to take them. I had the roasted mushroom omelet, which was very good and the rest of our party seemed very happy with their selections as well . Our server Keana was very friendly and did a great job making sure we were happy. This is now my favorite waterfront restaurant!
