Dedo Coffee - Review - Long Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"We’re slowly losing count of all the new places with hi-fi systems, but here’s a new coffee shop in Long Beach with one. At Dedo, the owners spin vinyl from their own giant record collection and host occasional listening sessions in the cozy-looking space. The drink list is short with just a few coffees, teas, and rotating kombuchas, along with pastries from Colossus Bread." - Cathy Park

Came to try out this new neighborhood coffee spot and I'm glad I did. I had mocha and my wife had the vanilla latte, both were good, not too sweet or bitter. The inside was a calming shade of green, which matched well with the groovy tunes. Pastries were tasty. Loved the outdoor patio area with a water feature. I will definitely return to this local spot.

I was so excited to come by to the soft opening of this coffee shop and hi-fi listening space. This space was so intentionally created and I love it. A place for audiophiles to enjoy a cup of coffee and listen To some great music and a beautiful listening space. It feels like you’re in someone’s living room and the sound is amazing. I cannot wait for their future, listening events. I had their vanilla latte with pistachio milk and I thought it was great. I really love that if you dine in, they serve their coffee in glasses or mugs. all of the staff was great and super friendly, I talked to one of the owners and it was great to talk to them about their space. Definitely coming back soon!

I got a Mocha, which is my usual test for a new coffee place, and it was amazing. Full bodied, well-roasted, with the right amount of chocolate. The place was hopping so it was impressive that there was barely any delay, Staff was friendly and helpful. The inside space is a little small so I can see it getting crowded on weekends but hey, it's a slice of the city in a quiet neighborhood, and I love it.

Beautifully appointed Hi-Fi listening space, new to Wrigley Village. The coffee and matcha are awesome, due to thoughtful purchasing and experienced staff. Fresh pastries are provided by the rightfully loved Collossus Bread for pairing. The music is curated and sublime, while the patio is tranquil and serene; providing fountains which block out the street noise. This place is tiny but mighty and I’m excited for the future of this neighborhood.

I’m really excited Dedo opened by me! I got a mocha with oat milk and it’s perfectly chocolatey and not too sweet. Very cool vibe with the record player and interior design. There’s also a good amount of seating inside and a lot outside.

Really enjoyed stopping by Dedo this morning after a recommendation from the soft opening. Love the idea to blend hifi with high quality coffee. The hifi setup sounds great, and the coffee is top notch as well. Great stuff! Will be back.

Visited for the first time today and we really enjoyed our visit with a buttery crossaint and two vanilla iced oat lattes. They have a very simple menu and it’s super refreshing now a days that they steered away from all the extras like cream tops/cold foams and brought back the simplicity of what coffee is. It felt very homey, quiet, and they have a record player for music which is very unique to see but it makes it so easy for you to catch a vibe!! Outside seating feels like you’re in your own little oasis!! As they are super local and walkable to us, we will definitely be visiting again! The only feedback I could offer is I hope to see different syrup flavors or some hand crafted seasonal lattes!
