Dee Best

The feast favorite is the best calzone of all time. Made FRESH to order in front of me. Comes with Marinara sauce which is also homemade. I walked around 20 minutes home with it in 30 degree weather and it was still hot, that’s how fresh it is The person working there was so nice, he gave me a free pen because it was my first time in there. This place should be more crowded as it’s INCREDIBLE.

After walking by this place every day on my way to work, I finally got to try it out - and it did not disappoint! The veggie calzone options (spinach & zucchini) were freshly made and delicious. And the fried Oreos were the best I’ve ever had!

Stumbled upon it by accident but what a gem. Zeppole written outside. Ordered two amazingly tasty calzones and while I waited got a little treat on the house. Very friendly and nice neighborhood joint for dessert or a warm calzone!

The best!! The zeppoles are absolutely scrumptious, always fresh and so soft, just delicious. The interior is simple, walls full of local Italian history of the area (photographs, newspaper clippings) which I love looking at while I wait. Kind and warm staff. Great prices. Love coming here!

I absolutely love this place. I have been here now a couple of times, the zeppoles are incredible. Do yourself a favor and get you the 5 for $5. Also, don’t sleep on the calzones. I ordered the zucchini calzone and absolutely loved it.

Now, everybody can enjoy deep-fried zeppoles and calzones all year round, not just at the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I've enjoyed their zeppoles and calzones for decades. Absolutely a great alternative from traditional lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this establishment.

Delicious zepppole and lasagna calzone. The only thing better was Nicky and Vito who add so much charm and "atmosphere" to the experience. Worth a trip to the "neighborhood " solely for the visit to Dee's

Dee Best in NY feast Zeppole's. The "Brick & Morter shop is also top notch. Bonus multiple style Calzone's on menu you can get only at shop. Worth the trip into Brooklyn.

Zeppoles are a must here! Fresh, made to order. They even gave some zeppoles while we were waiting to enjoy. I thought the dough was a tad too salty but they can certainly be addicting. Service was great. They have tables in the back to enjoy your meal.

Amazing service and cute retro vibes at this Bk spot. Back in the days, you could easily find Zeppoles at any pizzeria. Times have changed and its brutal finding them now. Lo and behold, Dee Best offers great Zeppoles and amazing Calzones Cant wait to go back.

Must have spot, great workers, and even better zeppole. I have to say these are better than my nonna's, may God rest her soul. They are made to order, perfect texture, perfect amount of powdered sugar--huge serving for only $5. This is absolutely the spot to go for a sweet treat or dessert.

To come her and get the best greeting as we walked in made us feel right at home. We ordered 2 calzone (lasagna and spinach) order of zeppoles. which were all made fresh, it was well worth the wait. The food was out of this world good. The shop was clean and the customer service was so superb. I definitely would recommend & will definitely return.

If you are looking for the best zeppoles ever look no further, these famous carnival/festival puffy clouds of dough are and have been my favorite since, I was a kid going to my neighborhood Lady of Mount Carmel Festival, then my second round before summer closed out at San Gennero Festival. I actually don't eat any other zeppoles these, guys are the only ones I trust with my authentic Italian zeppoles. I am so happy that they finally opened up the storefront, and I am even happier to be able to have my doughy powered sugar warm & delicious carnival favorite whenever, I like now. This stationary location was long awaited. They were scheduled to open before the pan-darn-it but, it took some time. I was starting to think that it was going to be a faded dream of having Dee's year round but, as I was grabbing a slice from my favorite childhood pizza shop Carmine's, from across the street, I saw the lights were on, and I walked right on in. I was like a moth to a flame. I was internally jumping for joy. So run, don't walk and go find out why it's called Dee's Best. Go get some!

The best place and the best staff! Make you feel welcomed and at home. The food and ambiance are top notch as well. Couldn't recommend this place more. Must visit

Honestly, I haven't tried this place yet but wanted to add them and share their menu. This space has been pending for quite some time and I thought it would never open. But one day, I walked by and it was totally open. I'm looking forward to trying their zeppoles and calzones.
