To be honest I’m really not sure about the food which I wanted to try out tonight cause I’ve been passing by this place for a while it said it closes at 11 came here at like 1005 next thing I know there’s nobody in the parking lot to be seen I’m standing herelike a little bozo hungry ready for my meal I try to open the door it’s closed

Had a great Friday evening from 615pm to 830pm. Service was great, wonderful dinner for 5, brought teenagers for kareoke, lots of great songs sung by wonderful people, teens got to sing a few songs each and we all enjoyed everyone there. Thank you for making a few of the girls birthday night even better.

Great service. Food was ready on time and was HOT! The french dip was one of the best I've ever had, even though they had to sub the hoagie roll for a burger bun (no complaints here whatsoever, it was DELICIOUS). My mother was pleased with her hot turkey dinner, which was quite a generous serving. Can't believe I've been missing out on this place for so long. Will be keeping in mind from here on out! Thank you, Dee Dee's.

Reminds me of Wisconsin bars...friendly neighborhood bar with very good food. The Reuben sandwich might be the best I've ever had.

Good townie bar. Good food, good wings. If you like your wings medium, I would order them hot here.

My friends and I decided to come here instead of the corporate run bar and grill down the road. Dee Dee's is a small neighborhood dive bar that usually gets regulars. When you walk into this place you feel like you are stepping back in time with the wood paneling on the walls. They had karaoke tonight which is always fun. Everyone in the bar was really nice, and the bartender provided good service. She was running the bar and acting as waitress so she gets double kudos. The specials were written on a large white board held up on an easel, that the bartener pulled over to our table so we could read it. Lots of good karaoke singers, and we all had a blast. They have some very good draft beers, and the food is good. Nothing fancy, just your typical bar food. The wings were really good, and no complaints about the food. This was truly a night to remember. Way more fun then the corporate places.

Had the roast beef. Very good. Lively crowd. Great atmosphere. My friend had a burger and fries. No complaints there.

Great place to knock back a few after work to get ready to go home. After 2 or 3 bourbons, the food tastes much better. The bartenders are easy to work with.

Decent food & well priced with daily specials. Hope you've got some time to hang out because it usually takes some time to come out of the kitchen. Decent sized island bar with ok service. Limited draft selection but the specials make up for it.

This place is an amazing hole in the wall. My husband and I lived in watervliet for two years and we miss nothing about the place except this bar!!! Staff is great, drinks are strong and affordable, company is fantastic. Kareoke was our favorite! Miss this place. Great memories

This is our favorite go to spot. Every Sunday it is like you are in Cheers! Great food, great drink, great atmosphere and Lisa the bartender is top notch!!

DeeDee's has great homemade soups. My complaint is the there are different prices for drinks with different bartenders? Also, cleanliness is an issue in some areas. Fun place to meet good people.

I have been going to Dee dees for a few years now; and usually it is with , my "Soulmate" Jessica. She just left this morning for San Hose California and I miss her already. One of the BIGGEST reasons Is Dee dees. She and I sing there. Yes! Karaoke!! There. I said it. ANd I'm Proud to have done this. ANd the food? It is to..well i won't say, To die for" More like. It gives us Life. The service is all it should be and MORE! Laurie is not only great at what She does; She is also a "class" Woman. ANd I am not sexist at all. Although at one time; I vweared towars that. Now I appreciate what is Before me. great people like "Laurie" and The chef?. He is "Outstanding. Never misses a beat. ALways delivers. ANd although promp; Never Hurried. I enjoy that. Good things come to those who wait. And "karma has a way fo comin' around...lol...Now abouty the KJ. HE is not only the best at what he does. He has the voice of; well You MUST hear him! I mean it!!! HE should be a STAR!!. In a way I'm glad that has not happened "yet" Then I wouldn't really be able; well; WE wouldn't be able to tell him Face-to face what We think of him. Now. getting to one thing I wasn't happy to hear when I looked at reviews. ANd this makes me angrt. " and you wouldn't Like me when I'm ANgry! Mr. McGee!" This "person. and i do use that term. "llosely had a narrow view of those who have been coming to Dee dees for many years. And AM proud to KNOW them! So? They may and are Not 30 something! If being in your thirties makes you "Special"; then I would rather be "OLDER" and Real. I aspire to be like them. ANd if i can "sing" like they do; then I'm in the only company I care to be in. So a special message to the un named reviewer. Go away. Your not wanted here. Go to the dives who love "haters" like you. Now that I may have wasted my breat on that..."dummy"; I'll just close, and thank God I'm an America. Where at least I know I'm free! Drum roll..."Donzie"! Wipeout isn't' an ez beat. Thank God! ok. so i have it out of my "Hulk" system. I'm going there tonight; God willing! and I may NOT even sing a one song; and I love to sing!. I also Love to hear truly talented people. Good food best place in latham! If you love great food and entertainment then come check this place out!

The food was delicious and the waitress was sweet but it was extremely exhausting being continuously harassed about this whole COVID mask issue. First they made us move because only parties of two could sit where we were sitting and parties of three had to sit at a different table. Next my friend and I stood up to have a picture taken and we were told if you sit you don't have to wear a mask but if you stand up you do. Are you kidding me? Like the germs are different if you're sitting or standing. We weren't even Near anybody because they moved us to a three person table away from everybody. Meanwhile they were a bunch of people all sitting around the bar and I guess their germs were different than ours because that was OK. It was totally annoying and I will not go back until this whole mask nonsense is done.

The service here is lousy. I had a birthday party here. We confirmed the reservation twice. We got there and they did not reserve space for us. Because they were empty, they were able to accommodate us. The waitress Lori did absolutely nothing to make my experience decent. She was very standoffish. It was my birthday and I did not even get the first piece of cake. She did not know who's birthday it was. Some people got bills before the cake was served. The message from the waitress was clear -- Get out. We don't want your business. I will never return to Dee Dee's, either for my birthday or otherwise. They are off my list.

They took us an hour before closing when other places would not. It was exactly the experience we needed. The food was good and low price. The service was amazing and they made you feel welcomed and at home.

As my good comrade Andrew J. always states, you can't really go here if you're under 35. It's so true. When I went here over holiday break in years past, I found that I was probably the youngest person here by at least 12 years. However, this partially is what's so warm and inviting about the place, it's literally a very localized, not flashy, not trendy, not pretending to be trendy, local watering hole. It's kind of full of grandma sweaters, mom jeans, big smiles, and some serious karaoke. I mean these guys and gals really belt out the tunes. With cute bartenders, 360 bar, ample seating, and drinks under 5 bucks who can complain? It's well lit, homey, it's Dee Dee's; it's like that place where everybody quips about everyone else's lawns or cooking and the biggest laughs come from marriage jokes.

I was here last Sunday for Karaoke. I'm new to the area and in search of some fun places to sing! I'm a bit of a junkie lol. It's a small place but the atmosphere was nice. The crowd is definitely much older but that's fine with me. The service and food was good. I had the Turkey dinner which was delicious! Very big portions! The Karaoke is good. They kept it pretty down and in the background which is nice if you just want to unbend and enjoy some drinks and convo and sing a couple songs. My experience was pleasurable and this might end up being my Sunday night spot!

As their sign states, Good Food - Good People. This was true and was very happy they I stopped in for a late lunch. They served basic tavern food that is very good. Yes, it is an older folks bar and everyone (patron and employee) is very nice. You know it is a good sign when there is a large painting of the King (Elvis) in the bar.

Dee Dee's has been and always will be a great place to get a good/cheap drink and some of the best home cooked foods! Its tends to be a older crowd but that does not mean the youngsters are not welcome. DJ or kareoke most nights. Always have a blast here and can be guaranteed one of the regulars will buy tou a drink!

Really friendly local tavern and the food is great. We visit Dee Dee's from time to time when we are in the area. It is a nice place to stop get a drink and and something to eat. The food is fresh, the soups are made from scratch and their is always a few nice specials on the menu. If you are looking from something other than a chain restaurant stop in you will like it.

AGES 65 or OVER. Food was acceptable, but not timely. Entertainment was for ages 65 and over (including the DJ/...retired singer?) at least on the Saturday night we were there. I believe it is the same entertainment every Saturday. Not very friendly. Purchased 3 drinks from the bar and each time the price was different. Bartenders seemed very friendly to what I can only assume are regulars (knew there names). Myself and others in my party felt like a bother to the staff. Encourage you to try it, but doubt your review will be much different. This is just the opinion of mine and the others in my party.
