Madame Phuong Cocktail + Sake Den Debuts in Miami | Eater Miami

"I found the new tiki-meets-Southeast Asian cocktail bar — created by Ani Meinhold and Cesar Zapata in partnership with nightlife guru Mykel Stevens and located adjacent to their Phuc Yea restaurant — to be a deliberate late-night spot focused on cocktails and small bites. The menu is split into “Neo Tiki” (featuring drinks like Phuc It; Just Drink Me, a play on a Blue Hawaiian/Blue Piña Colada; Tear of a Tiger’s Eye, which blends Japanese whiskey and rye bourbon with toasted almond orgeat and lemon; and the Boobytrapa lychee and rum daiquiri) and “Classics” (spun margarita and old fashioned with tropical twists), and even includes Phuc Yea’s best-known Teabag Cocktail. Late-night bites skew Asian with a Latin influence, including salt-and-pepper chicharrones de pollo, Colombian-style beef empanadas with kafir lime dipping sauce, and buffalo-style oyster nuggets. The bar is open Thursday to Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m." - Olee Fowler

Drinks and food were fantastic both times we’ve been here! Service is good depending on which bartender is working. The first time we went the bartender was amazing. The second time we went there was a different bartender working that spent most of their time talking with one group and ignored the rest of customers at the bar.

A good Thai food restaurant with some authentic Thai dishes not found at many places outside of Thailand.

Badass! Fun small cocktail bar. Intimate vibes. Came for a date night and really enjoyed ourselves. I really loved the fact I could have beer from other countries. Beer that you couldn’t get anywhere else! The cocktails were different, fun, and tasty! Really cool how they are attached to the Thai restaurant next door, making it a breeze to order amazing food.

Stopped in tonight for some food and drinks! Crab wontons and spring rolls were great! I didn't get any of the bartenders names, but they were super nice and helpful! I definitely recommend the cocktails and drinks. They had an extensive cocktail selection and creative drinks. I will definitely stop in again!

This was our first time here after wanting to try it for quite some time and it definitely did not disappoint! The server was Ricky, and he was attentive and gave us his recommendations! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back! PS: it’s also nice that they open late for them late night cravings!

Needed a quick cocktail before new years and we chose a new spot. This is one of my new favorites now. Great interior, delicious cocktails, and tasty food. All reasonably priced. This is a small spot, but it is worth trying even if the place is full. The Bartender told us about Tiki Tuesdays and we definitely want to go back for it. It has a food special and tiki drinks. Great spot on this side of town! Enjoy!

The atmosphere was great. Really cool little cocktail bar. Food was tasty and service was good too. We tried all the appetizers on the menu and I'd put the calamari as my favorite. I'd also recommend the mango sticky rice and chicken wings. The others were good too but those 3 were my top. As far as main dishes go, I had the Pad Kee Mao and it was delicious. I do usually like it with a tad more Thai basil but that's a personal preference. The dish was great. I did taste my friend's Thai Boat Noodles and it's not something I'd personally order but it was good as well. I'm just not much of a soup person. I also tried my wife's Kao Moo Grob and the pork belly was cooked really well with a tender inside and a crispy outside. I might eat that more as something to share with your friends then just eat it alone, but it was really good as well. We mainly went for the food but got a couple drinks and they were alright. We're not big drinkers though so I won't judge that too much even though it's a cocktail bar. We did have an issue with an allergic reaction after it seems there was a bit of a miscommunication with the front of the house and the back of the house. They took it seriously and it seemed like they do plan to learn from it and educate the staff better on handling allergies. I thank you for not just brushing it off and talking to us about it. I forget the gentleman's name that talked to us, but his mom, Dee I believe, is one of the cooks and kept checking on my wife afterwards. Thank you for that. Dee was really sweet. Overall, I'd recommend trying it out.

The drinks are great and the food was alright but it took forever to get the drinks or any food delivered to the table. Be sure to order right away when arriving and expect a long wait before anything will actually show up. The place is adorable so plan to take all your selfies after you order.
