Yelp
I was really looking forward to finally getting to stop in at this place after countless times passing by on commute and knowing how involved they are in the community. I'm glad I visited but don't think I'll ever have a need to go back. It is new, clean, neat, trendy, cute, bright and airy big and touristy or maybe a better word like another yelper referred to it as Gimmicky. The place was huge and I could tell it's set up to handle a ton of guests. Upon entering the upper level, there is a gift shop area to buy merchandise, bathrooms, a lounge area, a bar and an outdoor seating area that had misters for the heat. Further in on a lower level there is a large warehouse style area with a small stage for performers, picnic table seating area with a smaller walk up round bar and a larger walk up bar. This is the largest bar and it is situated for lines of people I could tell by rope and signage. Thankfully the place was pretty empty when we got there so we walked right up to the bar. The bar tender was nice and pleasant enough just didn't much go over the vodka or company or anything like that that would give us more info on the tasting. In that way it felt more just like a bar in a distillery rather then a tasting room. They offer a cocktail menu featuring drinks like Magonada ($12), Texas Tea ($12) and Mojito ($12), $10 in a smaller paper cup. They were super sweet, tasty and rich. I was good with just one, not the best but not terrible, just OK if you like sweet drinks. I really wanted to try their bloody Mary but if it was like the other drinks, I probably would have been disappointed. They also offer flights of 4 vodka tasting ($10) I believe the bar tender said they were half ounce each taste. I tasted lemon, lime, peach and cranberry. The cranberry tasted like cough syrup!
Over all it was an ok visit, I just wouldn't go out of my way of visiting again.
