"Deep makes some of the best frozen Indian food out there, and we advise you to get to your nearest South Asian grocery store and pick up a box of their chicken korma ASAP. Luckily for us in New York City, Deep also has three restaurants here where you can taste the family’s food made fresh in house. At their three counter-service locations, you can build your own biryani, kati roll, dosa, or salad, with you choice of protein like chicken tikka or mushrooms. If you go for a dosa, you won't be getting the big crispy crepe most places serve—it's more like a taco in an uttapam-like shell. But it's a fun vehicle for unconventional dosa fillings like lamb kofta and even pulled pork. We usually go for the Live Fire Feast (their version of the thali), so we can get rice and dal on the side. Choose your spice level, then decide between a bottled mango lassi or a ginger cane drink." - Neha Talreja

The chicken tikka, with basmati rice 🍛, yellow lentils beets slaw and garlic naan was delicious. I also got the samosas and was pleasantly surprised of how tasty they were. The ginger lemon with honey is real ginger and great for digestion. Pretty spicy though. I paid $17 for my whole meal, the feast, the samosas were sold separately and so was the drink. But definitely well worth it, I couldn’t even finish it. Three different sauces came with it too. And the yogurt sauce was great!

It's Indian style fast food chain . This is my first time trying this food. But I much say it's good , quick and tasty . It has Indian style and touch with wrap and dosa and nice easy to eat and carry in New York. It's good option for lunch . And it's filing too as per quantity. Lot of varieties.

Nice place, very cool food. Suitable for vegans but since the menu is unclear for first timers I would advise you to ask for guidance from the waiter. The meals are quite big and would definitely satisfy a hungry adult. The food comes out warm and fast which is nice. A friendly notice- sometimes you'll get spicy bites out of nowhere even if the dish wasn't spicy at all.

Pretty impressed by this spot, the Midtown area lacks any good food options (Indikitch is clearly an exception). The food is fresh, flavors are on point, and the price for the amount of food you get is reasonable. Staff was super nice as well 🙂 Will be going back for lunch again soon!

Glad that an Indian restaurant opened up right next to Port Authority - more glad that it stays open late, up to 10.30 pm! I had the samosa chaat which was quite good. I noticed though that biriyani here means stir frying saffron rice and your choice of meat together - not the most authentic biriyani prep !

Very tasty true Indian style food and at a reasonable price for the quality. Very experiential ordering with friend staff and lots of space to sit and enjoy the good. Yum.
