So... I had decent expectations when some people recommended this place... but this was pure disappointment. First off, the noodles combo. (You chose 1 soup base, 2 proteins, 1 noodle, and 1 drink) I had the Marinated Mustard and Pepper base + sliced beefs brisket + shrimp + udon. The soup base was spammed with salt and pepper to the point that my tastebuds went numb. (I love strong flavors as mild doesn't taste anything to me, so this was a shock) It was way too overpowered by salt and pepper. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BROTH. The Lemon Water (H5) that also came with it was terrible. (I didn't think that was even possible) I don't know if it's the cup, but it tasted barely acidic, and it had a weird metal taste. I didn't even want to try adding sugar to see if it would improve... (the drink includes 2 sugar packs on the side) (0/5) Then we ordered the Chinese Sausage and Charcuterie on Rice (104). This bowl was actually pretty good. (4/5) I highly recommend this for first-timers or anyone overall since you can't go wrong with this dish. We had a cold lemon tea with this combo and it was pretty good. (4/5) For cold drinks, there is an additional 1.75$ for combos. Finally, we had the steamer Siu Mai. It was... disappointment. It was pretty flavorless and tiny. I don't recommend this at all. The food overall was mediocre, but the rice combo was good. The service... was questionable since it took a while for us to be seated, and our waitress didn't seem to know how to communicate. (Maybe she was tired, who knows) The food came in pretty quickly, though, which is nice. The cashier was also really nice and asked for our feedback, which we greatly appreciated it. Overall, this seems like a nice establishment but the food was... really sad. I did have good hopes for this place since a few people recommended it, but maybe I just came on the wrong day.

Too bad used to be with very good service for taking our order no more. So that is the reason why better order with QR code. I think the robot is the only one with good service. Fried fish spaghetti is excellent with large portion of fish. Curry chicken taste great too. Hot milk tea not enough of milk while cold milk tea is excellent.

Google
I like this fish. It's a little spicy and flavorful. A taste that Asians would love.hot milk tea is very rich. I love it

This place is absolutely fantastic! We've been twice already, and each time, the food has been fresh, hot, delicious, and very generous portions. I can't believe I used to drive by this gem a few times a week without stopping in for a meal. It's definitely become my go-to spot from now on! The service is top-notch; even when they made a mistake with our order the first time, they quickly apologized and offered us a complimentary meal for the inconvenience. That's what I call excellent professional service! You simply have to try it out. My personal favorites so far are the laksa soup, crispy pork chops, and spring rolls!

Google
This place is a damn joke. The food is average at best, but the staff’s attitude is absolutely disgusting. One of them actually confronted me about not tipping right after I sat down — like seriously, who talks to customers like that? Tips are supposed to be earned through good service, not forced with rude looks, passive-aggressive comments, and guilt trips. These people act like they’re doing you a favor by letting you eat there. Sorry, you’re not royalty, and this isn’t charity — I’m paying for my food, not to be judged. What’s even worse is that they run a Chinese restaurant but expect to cash in on “Chinese customer perks” without showing any respect to Chinese people. Where does this sense of superiority even come from? They treat Chinese customers like they’re beneath them.😂😂 And on top of that, they automatically add a tip to your bill — no heads-up, no asking, just assume you’re okay with it. This place is just a cash grab disguised as a restaurant, and the staff make the whole experience feel downright hostile. There are way better Chinese restaurants on the South Shore that actually respect their customers. Save yourself the headache and don’t eat here.

Google
This place is legit. The broth of fish soup noodles is so fresh. Unlike other Chinese places, it doesn’t taste like Msg at all. All of dishes is so delish. The bubble tea is also good. I like there sheng Jian bao is definitely the best in town. You better hurry up. They sell these buns really fast.

Google
Food is authentic and delicious, prices are just right and reasonable. The service is fabulous complete with those robotic servers bringing you your drinks and dishes. Super cute. We had a great time navigating through the enormous menu they for it’s a one-stop shop for all East Asian cuisine!

Google
Would recommend getting the laksa noodle soup! A great resto for a casual lunch with friends and family. The drinks are also very well made. On the down side, service is rather mediocre and the baked rice is a little too salty.

Yelp
We three came here for a weekday lunch. We had two soups and side dish shared. I chose the black pepper fish soup and my husband had an original flavour soup. The two meaty dishes were teriyaki chicken and fried pork chop. They were all very tasty. I highly recommend this place. I always choose thick rice noodle which is my favourite. He chose udon which was also good. My baby loves to watch the robot delivering dishes. When the dishes came she shouted excitedly. A great place to visit and try authentic food.

Yelp
See if you just want to eat or also wish to be treated fairly..... So disappointed. I used to visit this restaurant often. However, the way the waitress did today will let me reconsider should I go and visit anymore. When my friend and I arrived the restaurant it was full house so we waited for our table. While we were waiting, there was a Chinese couple came in and went straight to the table which was waited to be cleaned. The waitress went to them and greeted them, and the couple get the table in instance. I looked at the waitress, and she just ignored me and went back to work. Canada is a multi-cultural country and has a high reputation of respecting different cultures and people around the world. After today's experience, I am in doubt that is this restaurant able to do at least respecting each customers in their own restaurant fairly.

Yelp
So happy to finally have one in South shore. They specialize in soup based noodles, Everything from Alexa coconut soup base to A spicy Szechuan base. For only $13.50 you get to choose your soup base the type of noodles that you like and multiple toppings that are included in the price. If you'd like to add an extra egg fried egg soft boiled egg it's an 1$. They also offer side orders of fried chicken rice cakes etc. All the sides are very affordable. Crowd of people who aren't looking for a soup base dinner third offer A westernized menu for 12.75$. It's also very customizable from ox sliced tongue to fried pork chops. We ordered the laksa soup , the deep fried pork chop with rice, Bacon and onion cream sauce and The sausage luncheon meat and pan fried egg. You could substitute the rice for spaghetti or penne for a dollar extra. For the price of the laksa soup there is a lot of ingredients inside a lot of vegetables the noodles are good portion very filling. I'm normally not a fan of coconut but the laksa soup was very good it wasn't overly potent with the coconut taste. The deep fried pork chop were really good and crispy and still moist and not dry inside the sauce was thickWent really well with the pork chops. Every order comes with coffee or tea milk tea to be exact. You can have the choice of adding a specialty drink for only $2 which is an incredible price! For the drinks we ordered the apple milk tea and a mango milk tea. They were both really good really refreshing! (It doesn't come with bubble it's an extra charge for it) If you purchased either Western menu or a soup I suggest I recommend also grabbing a drink for2$ it's truly worth it for the price and the size. Also while you're waiting they give you a small cup of toasted walnuts to snack on which is nice, thoughtful And different from other restaurants. Every meal comes with a milk tea unsweetened they give you sugar to add to your liking.Highly recommend this place

Yelp
So happy to have one of my fave chinese restaurant in MTL. They specialise in soup noodles and you can choose the kind of soup, the noodle, some toppings and a drink for only 13.50$. This time, i tried the laksa. It was not too spicy but had a lot of flavor. The vermicelli were perfectly cooked. I got it with fish slices and a sausage. The sausage was grilled to perfection and there were a lot of fish slices in it. I took a HK milk tea. It was very good and creamy but the tea was definitely too strong for me. There are plenty of parking outside. The wait time was a bit long on their first day so hopefully it will get better with time. Although you can only do takeout for now, the broth is still hot after a while and the food is still delicious.

Yelp
Finally went over to get some take out and here's my 0.02$ My order: curry beef brisket rice + HK style lemon tea Wife: Laksa soup rice with a few toppings, spicy beef tongue + HK style milk tea The beef brisket soft chewy, very tasty. It came with one bowl of rice, but you can literally have 5 with the Malaysian style curry. Yea, it's that gooooood. HK Style lemon tea, it isn't the best but certainly something I missed from any restaurant in mtl. Laksa soup rice, it smell soooooo good, you can actually have it with noodles but my wife chose rice, not a bad choice though. She said it's so tasty that she could taste all the ingredient. The spicy beef tongue... It's not my thing I didn't eat, but she said it's good so... OK.. Lol HK style milk tea... That I must say was surprisingly good. It's so smooth, milk and tea ratio perfectly balanced. Overall food is a 4/5, that I think it's due to take out, if we could have it fresh right at the restaurant I'm confident it will taste better. Price, I find it a bit high but I think there's a reason to it... Deer Garden Signature is actually a well known franchise that keeps high standard on their food quality. So for that, I'm okay with the price VS values. Now, my closing question... Will I go again? Well I already planned to go back tomorrow for another round of curry lol

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. The space is big and clean. Food was ok. My favorite was the laksa soup. The ribs were good but lacking a bit of taste or sauce with the steamed rice. The spaghetti dish was really not what I was expecting from an Asian restaurant. It tasted ok but definitely would not order this again. I didn't take pics of the drinks but I really enjoyed all of them. My favorite was the milk tea with coffee. I also tried the red bean drink which was good. And the litchi with 7up was refreshing. Not worth the detour for me.

Yelp
Nice looking restaurant and makes me feel like we are in vancouver or toronto.the service and the quality of the food is not so there though The laksa was pretty good.broth not too salty, nor too salty. i think if it was a tad bit more concentrated ,the flavors would come out better. It matches the best with medium size rice noodles. It comes with some veggies and bean curd thingy.and you get to choose two items. Steam rice with chicken or ribs. Was a bit plain. Even with the soya sauce. Needed more chicken and lacked of seaaoning Sea food paella hk style was on the creamy side, was soso. They need to improve on their service.as the waiter was rude and unpleasant. The food needs inprovement also.

Yelp
Yum! The broth at Deer Garden is so good and delicious. What I love is their bubble tea combo. They have a huge variety of bubble tea that comes with the noodles. Also it's at a very convenient location with lots of parking. I recommend this place!

Yelp
This is a new chain resto opened during covid, having branches in Toronto and Vancouver! Set menus including milk tea or coffee. Ordered original fish soup customized with two toppings ( took tender beef brisket and mushroom pork meatballs), beef brisket curry and added fried pork cutlet. Everything was yummy even after reheat (air fryer/microwave and stove)!

Max L.

Yelp
Nice concept where you have a wide choice of broth, chose your toppings and your noodles! Excellent noodle soup and very comforting.

Yelp
Place an order of three plates at the restoand the staff told me 20 mins then end up wait for one hour. Impatient from the stuff with no follow up. I don't mind if I have to wait for an hour, but if this is the case. Don't tell me 20 mins from the first place which you know is not realistic. The worst is when I get the order I realize what I have been waiting is not the food is the freaking bubble tea.
