Visited Dejavu for New Year’s Eve. We where told it was 307 per person, tax and tip included. They charged us double that amount.
Besides this, the food was mediocre at best. We got a 5-course meal, each being a tiny bite. Worst plates where the burrrata and tuna tartare. The dessert was supposed to be a lava cake, and instead got a dry banana pudding with ice cream and blue berries (see picture). The pre-fixed menu included a pairing of cocktails and open bar. The cocktails where quite delayed and variable in quality. The fist round of cocktails was okay, the second round of cocktails came in hour later and there were prepared in a different way (and quite poorly).
The overall experience was bad. Very packed room, a burlesque dancer that struggled to get around the room, and extremely slow and bad quality food. It seems the entire evening was improvised and the value for the cost was ridiculously high. To top it off, all our group is in disputes the get the extra charged money back.
