Wow! It was great to be out at a place where you have a team serving your table! I know this is a chain in major cities, but really now, high marks for Del Frisco's!
Let's start with the cocktails... they will make whatever you want, and when they do, it's high octane! Whoosh! The bread, oh my goodness the bread!! I challenge you not to fill up on this before your meal comes out! Wow.
I failed miserably at taking photos of the food, but we had a large party with an array of amazing dishes. I split the lobster trio and wedge, and it was an absolute taste treat! The lobster bisque was also a delectable dish - full of large chunks of lobster - a big surprise!
The only appetizer that wasn't a hit was the tuna tartare. There was something off about it and so we unfortunately sent it back. Thankfully our server, Lucy, was understanding and it wasn't a problem. The calamari had a very nice kick to it, and I mistakenly ate one of the fried jalapeños... oof! A little bit of a surprise if you were expecting a calamari!
We almost filled up on bread and appetizers, but we managed to save room for the steak and main courses! Oh and telephone book of wine choices - WOW!! I cannot believe some of the amazing bottles of wine in this enormous book! There's a bottle of champagne, also known as 'ACE of Spades', for $12,000!!!
Overall it's a good place for whatever gathering you could imagine. We did have a few kids with us and they were accommodating, but they don't have a kids menu. For 10 people with 3 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of champagne, appetizers and main courses it was roughly $120/pp. reasonable for a higher end restaurant. I do recommend getting a sitter if you have kids and enjoy a stellar meal with a good view of the water!
