The setting was sleek and comfortable—definitely a place that knows how to create a good dining mood. The staff was sharp, attentive without hovering, and everything ran smoothly from the moment I walked in. The steak, though, just didn’t do it for me. It was dry and kind of forgettable, which was disappointing. Asparagus was the surprise standout—perfectly cooked with great flavor. Mashed potatoes were alright, nothing special. The chocolate mousse at the end made up for a lot—rich, not too sweet, and a nice finish. Glad I went, but I’d go for something other than the steak next time.

Went here for restaurant week. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The portion sizes were generous as well. Staff was friendly. Cocktail couldve been a little stronger but overall I had a good time and will be back.

We went to Del Frisco’s about five years ago and it was honestly terrible. I left thinking I’d never return. But we decided to give it another shot—and I’m so glad we did. This time, everything was incredible: • Filet Mignon – The best I’ve ever had. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Absolute perfection. • Lobster Mac & Cheese – Rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster. • Calamari – Loved the unique Asian-inspired twist. Not your average calamari, and I appreciated that. • Broccolini – Cooked perfectly with great flavor. • Chocolate Cake – Not the highlight of the meal. It wasn’t bad, but definitely not as strong as everything else. The service was phenomenal, just as it’s always been, and the ambience was exactly what you expect from a high-end steakhouse—elegant, cozy, and upscale. I’m genuinely excited we gave Del Frisco’s a second chance. They’ve improved significantly and fully earned this 5-star review.

First time coming and experiencing the lovely decor, great live music, and dining experience! Definitely made a memorable birthday dinner! Food was great, the staff and waiters were awesome!

Google
I’m 5 stars all the way. Gorgeous and super fun atmosphere. Live music is always my favorite and he was excellent. Bread. Yum. Cesar salad. Yum. Hubs got a Filet and it was good. Not the best he’s ever had. For that drive to Denver to that Del Frisco’s. The Sea Bass exceeded expectations. The choc dessert was only ok. Should have gone with the waiters crowd fav suggestion on the Warm Butter Cake. The Blood Orange Spritzer was good enough to order twice. Our friendly waiter, Roy, was delightful and chatty. He was present but not hovering. Well done. The bathrooms weren’t as clean as they could have been but they were busy slaying the Sea Bass. So I’m good. Thanks Houston.

Wonderful dining experience. Our server was prompt, polite and knowledgeable of the menu. The drinks were delicious as well.

I dined here with my wife and it was a good experience so we later booked the private full Houston Room which seats 16 for my wife’s birthday. The experience and feedback from family and relatives were great. We enjoyed and want to say thanks to Tyler which was our host! Also decorations where done ✅ by TNS Supply Rentals

Google
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Del Friscos and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Soft lighting and tasteful decor create a relaxing environment for sure. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Ughhh that bread was soooo good!! I’m not a seafood eater so I got the chicken which was only ok. The sides were delicious and my wife enjoyed her meal. Overall the service exceeded my expectations in every aspect. If you're looking for a great place with a cozy vibe, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This restaurant is so beautiful. They have valet parking but there is also free parking available in the attached garage. Fair warning ladies if you fine upstairs there is lots of Mable stairs to walk. We started with a salad that looked and tasted delicious. There was also bread on the table that looked and tasted like hot, delicious buttery rolls. Then the meal of a delicious filet along with mashed potatoes and string green beans. For dessert a slice of cheesecake. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Yelp
I recently dined at Del Frisco's Steakhouse, and while the atmosphere was upscale and inviting, my experience was a bit mixed. The service was attentive but inconsistent; we had to wait longer than expected for our to go bags. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but the sides were underwhelming and didn't live up to the main event. Overall, it's a decent place for a special occasion, but I expected a bit more for the price. Would I return? Maybe, but I'd try somewhere else first.

Yelp
Amazing experience from start to finish. The moment we walked through the door everyone was helpful, friendly and accommodating. But the whole star of the place is that bread!! Do not eat here and not taste that bread, it should be criminal.

Yelp
I absolute love this steak house! The ambiance is so beautiful and a perfect date night spot. The food is incredible and service is also incredible. I love the happy hour drink menu. The sangria is to die for and only 10 dollars. My steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend! I can't wait to come back and try some seafood options.
google avatar

Yelp
The strip I ordered was succulent, tender and seasoned perfectly. The char on the outside was expertly cooked and was very satisfying to eat. Broccolini was cooked beautifully. In my opinion it could've used a little more salt and slightly less lemon, but that is probably just a personal preference. The Scallion Garlic crispy rice with ahi, hamachi and wasabi aioli was so enjoyable! I highly recommend it. Fernando was a gracious server and very attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
It's been years since coming to Del Frisco's and it's Houston restaurant weeks so decided to come for dinner. We had a reservation for 2 at 7pm on a Saturday evening and it took 20 minutes to be seated as the hostess said all tables were full. After being seated and ordering drinks with our waiter it took another 20 minutes for him to return and take our orders. We ordered off the HRW menu: blue cheese lettuce wedge, dynamite shrimp, filet mignon, strawberry hibiscus cheesecake and butter cake. All of the food was delicious but the service could have been better. Everything took entirely too long, we didn't leave the restaurant until 10:25p after arriving at 6:55pm. We did enjoy the live music and our table gave a nice view of the restaurant.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with good food. Why such a low rating? Three things really killed our experience, an anniversary dinner nonetheless. One: we had a reservation for 8pm. The restaurant called the day before to confirm. We showed up 8 minutes early, but they waited until 8:20pm to seat us, despite many open tables. They told us to order a few drinks at the bar while we waited. No thanks. Rude! Two: I shared a specific food sensitivity which I informed them could lead to digestive issues. The waitress said she'd check with the kitchen to make sure they could meet it. She confirmed they could. When they served the food, they said it was correct. I ate some, then they showed up a few minutes later with the "correct" item and replaced it for me. Fast forward to today, my stomach is killing me!!! Brief apology, no bill adjustment, manager didn't come over, etc. Not cool!!! Three: the desserts looked pretty but did not taste good. They were somewhere between flavorless and actually foul tasting. At this point we didn't bother complaining, just wanted to get out. I'd been here a few times for work dinners and it was fine. I thought it would be a nice treat for a special occasion. And it was special alright, with an awful stomach ache for a day after the served me food I told them would hurt my stomach.

Yelp
Made reservations to celebrate a special birthday and this place did not disappoint! We were seated timely and everyone from the hostess to our waitress was very friendly. Food was amazing!! We started with the lobster bisque and the bread basket. Both were so delicious! I didn't expect the portions and almost got full off of those alone - I'll repeat the bread was SO good, we inhaled that pretty quickly and I wouldn't have been able to turn down a refill. We got the braised short rib and the 16oz bone-in ribeye. Both were very good and flavorful - ribeye outshined the short rib in terms of depth of flavor and how juicy it was. Truffle fries and drinks (mule and old fashioned) also matched the caliber of the rest of the spread. All in all, this was a really nice dining experience!

Yelp
The food quality, service, and ambiance at Del Frisco's never dissappoints. I started the meal with lobster bisque... smooth, creamy, and flavorful. My 8oz Filet Mignon came from the kitchen perfectly seasoned and charred. Sides of crisp green beans and hand-mashed gold potatoes were served family style. We rounded the bases for a 5-star review with "Strawberry Hibiscus Cheesecake" (how haunty!) and coffee. The cheesecake had a well-defined crust and a sophistocated cake-like filling that was beautifully browned. Served with a bit of strawberry, raspberry sauce and whipped cream, the combination was a slightly sweet, slightly sour finish to a nice lunch.

Yelp
We did HRW which was great. It's a great deal to get an 8 oz with green beans & mashed potato's and an app / dessert for $55. I wish more steak restaurants were like this instead of up charging to get a steak. We didn't enjoy that they don't give you a HRW menu and the waitress didn't mention it when she went through the specials. It gave the feeling that it was taboo. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and they had live music. The singer was amazing!

Yelp
Decided to stop by here for lunch with my son after checking out a museum nearby. Valet is right by the door. There was very few people dining which is typical for luck and the way I like it. We were sat upstairs. The staircase is beautiful it reminds me of a similar one in Nobu NYC location. Our waiter was prompt. I had a taste for oysters and wanted to try the broiled oyster casino. I paired that with a wedge salad and a cosmopolitan. Everything was delicious! My son ordered a filet mignon with French fries and devoured it in minutes!

Yelp
One of my favorite steakhouses in Houston. It is a very nice dinner. I love the ambience of the restaurant. It is located in the galleria area. I have always used valet. Service is great.

Yelp
Wonderful place by the Galleria. The ambiance, service, and food were all excellent. We enjoyed a Negroni Sbagliato and a Ginger Mule. We ordered the Lump Crab Cake for an appetizer. We each ordered a filet, one with truffle butter and one with Oscar topping. While we enjoyed both toppings, we ended up dipping various things on my plate with the truffle butter, it was that good! For our sides we had the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese and the Twice Baked Truffle Potatoes. They have an amazing Honey butter bread to start out, I was eating this throughout my whole meal, also dipped in my truffle butter too. We finished the night out by ordering a Warm Butter Cake with Ice Cream to go since it was my husband's birthday. This was a delicious treat later in the night and I'm sure would've been even better fresh at the restaurant. We will definitely will be back. Our waiter was wonderful, he recommended that amazing desert. It was all around a great expierence with great food!

Yelp
Food: The calamari dish was very flavorful. The fresh baked roles were hot and buttery (yum). My steak was tender and the crab and butter added a great dynamic to the flavor. Finished up some lemon cake. Service: the server was knowledgeable and attentive. Ambiance: the feel was comfortable. It was not loud and the lighting was perfect, not too bright not too dark.

Yelp
Stopped in for dessert and after dinner drinks after a disappointing dinner at Nobu and were kicking ourselves for not having dinner there. We sat in the lounge/bar area and the bartender was our server. He was great, drinks were great and dessert was incredible. Will definitely be by soon for a full meal.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the most amazing places we've been to everything from the steak to the mashed potatoes to the service was a 10.
google avatar

Cassandra M.

Yelp
First of all, it was like spring break at the bar. People who didn't even look old enough to drink and not dressed appropriately at all. Then, a woman comes in to sit at the bar, who it appeared may work there because everyone who was working flocked to her. Okay, that's fine, but she was obviously drunk. First she kept trying to shove a $100 bill at this man who seemed to be the manager on duty. Then, she was walking to another part of the restaurant....tripped, dropped her phone and spilled her drink all over the floor. Besides all of that drama, the best part of my meal was the salad and the butter cake. Pappas and Flemings have better steaks. Thank goodness for HRW prices. Our server was nice enough. I don't see any reason to ever return to Del Frisco's.

Yelp
Worth every penny! I had read reviews prior to our Christmas dinner that made me nervous, glad we experienced for ourselves. Had a 4:30 reservation on Christmas Day, was greeted and seated upon arrival. The decor and ambience was very nice! We were seated upstairs and there was a live band downstairs music was great. Our waiter was EXCELLENT. He recommended cocktails for us and they were great. We had the reposado lemon drop, dirty martini and lemon drop surprise. All very good and not stingy on the alcohol. For appetizers we had the wagyu meatballs and dynamite shrimp. Both great! Entrees we ordered two bone in ribeyes with garlic butter, Surf and Turf trio, a filet mignon, lobster Mac and cheese, truffle fries and broccolini. Sides were shareable portions and we were a party of 4. I must say the ribeye melted in your mouth, I've had many high end steaks this one was amazing. Only issue we had was two steaks came out the wrong cook/temp. But once we noticed our server both were fixed and back within 10 mins. No issues! Restrooms were very clean. Overall a very good choice for dinner let alone a Holiday. I'll definitely visit again when in Houston. From a true foodie, try it for yourself!

Yelp
Had dinner here on a Sunday evening during Houston restaurant week so we selected a 3 course meal from a fixed menu. Same menu items as regular menu just limited choices. For starters, they provide complementary bread. Boy, I don't eat bread very often but this buttered bread in a skillet made me indulge with 2 pieces!! Please take at least one bite and see if you can stop. Lobster bisque was good with nice size pieces of lobster. The wagyu meatballs in a tomato base sauce are a must try. Filet cooked medium was ok. The quality of meat was fine but it did not have a lot of seasoning (I like highly seasoned steaks). The truffle butter enhancement is $9 and really saved the steak. The mashed potatoes were tasty. Salmon was cooked to perfection & well seasoned. We both preferred it to the filet. We had 2 desserts: coffee toffee bread pudding & butter cake. Both were overheated & a little tough. The server said they should be soft inside not chewy. it. They brought us 2 new desserts & they were a totally different consistency & tasted much better. So great customer service for making that right. Ambiance is nice. Service was good but didn't give a strong attentive feeling. $12 Valet parking right outside the front door was worth it so we didn't have to walk through the galleria parkinmall to get to the restaurant. As a high end steakhouse, I consider the overall experience, food & service, average. There are other steakhouses in this category that I prefer. Rating is a 3.5 but since I can't give a 1/2, rounding down because the food should be more consistently good for this level restaurant.

Yelp
The food was SO flavorful and delicious. I could not stop eating! The oysters, and whipped potato's and cheesecake was my favorite. My husband and I came here with our friends right after our wedding and the ambiance was amazing and the staff was very nice. I would overall give this place a 9/10. Our server did take a long time when checking on us.

Yelp
Del Frisco's is usually one of our favorite places! Recently, we had an experience that was off setting and will probably not return. We went to celebrate our anniversary. Food overall is good, appetizers and desserts were the better courses of our meal. Our steaks didn't come cooked to the right temperature. My husband had to send his back and it took a while to have it prepared again, my steak was COLD by the time his came out. It was unfortunate that we didn't really eat anniversary dinner together and enjoy it while we finally got a sitter and were out. Pretty disappointed in Del Friscos. Server didn't acknowledge the small things like refreshing drinks in a timely manner. Bar closed by the time we wanted a 2nd round. 1 of our sides didn't come out until we asked for it. Everything got packed up but it wasn't the left overs we looked forward to. Unfortunate for us but a subpar experience.
google avatar

Gabby D.

Yelp
The food is amazing and worth the price! The crust on the steak is so good, there is a good amount of lobster in there lobster Mac n cheese, and the beginning bread is so soft and tasty. This gets a 4 star because this is the second year we have gone for Houston Restaurant Weeks and the second year they haven't given us the menu. They seem to not want to participate which is odd since it's a choice to do it. Our waitress this time was a little slow too. Like almost 10 minutes to get water and our bread basically came out with the appetizer. I also think their wine list is also overpriced. All in all, great food but service could be better
google avatar

Jarvas H.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal and is a must visit for a five star dining experience. The valet parking was quick and efficient considering the location. Galleria of Houston can be extremely unnerving; however, these guys kept things flowing. We arrived at our reservation time of 5:15pm, which by the looks of foot traffic was an ideal time to avoid crowds. We had a great view near front to take in the city view and still maintain a romantic atmosphere inside. When you dine there ask for Philip....he was definitely great at making the dining experience a pleasure. He provided great suggestions and gave intricate details of the selected menu items, including some items we had reservations behind. The eats were very delicious and were cooked to perfection. When looking to wine and dine and enjoy a classy lunch or dinner this is definitely the spot!!! Enjoy!!!

Yelp
It has been a minute since I have eaten here and my wife had never dined here before. Therefore, I decided to use my President's LSC birthday reward and have a great dinner for two. Planning ahead, we made reservations for Friday night. The weather was bad and it wasn't crowded at all. I'm not sure if reservations would have been needed but I would suggest making them regardless. We opted for the Tomahawk for two. It included a GIANT Tomahawk steak (see photo) and two sides. We opted for the lobster Mac/cheese and cream spinach. Honestly, this meal would feed three people easily. The flavor of the steak was wonderful. The sides were delicious as well. The Butter Cake for my birthday dessert was phenomenal. I'll order it all again in the near future. As a side note, their wine list is fantastic and has something at every price point for a high-end steak house. Excellent selections from around the world. Parking tip - The garage at the Galleria has become slightly unsafe. Or should I say, it's been in the news often lately. The Galleria offers valet parking for a fee directly next to the front entrance to the restaurant. If you are a President's LSC member, you can utilize the valet and Del Frisco's will pay for the parking. I highly suggest taking advantage of this. Bottom line - Delicious food. One of the better steaks I've had dining out in a long while. We'll be back soon. An easy five-star review. Bon appétit, y'all.

Yelp
Visited for the first time for my birthday during Houston Restaurant Weeks and was not disappointed. The ambiance, the service, the cocktails, and especially the meal were excellent. This is one of my new favorite places.

Yelp
Appetizers: nothing too much to say about the Caesar salad, simple and good! But the wagyu meatballs took the show--spicy, rich, thick, AND saucy if you try one thing from their menu it's definitely this! Main Lobster Tail: its OK-it's just a steamed lobster which they serve w grilled lemon and butter. Filet mignon: amazing. Pulls apart in your mouth tender. This was delish!! Strip steaks: this was good. It was a little bit more on the tougher side despite it being usda prime but slightly understandable since strip steaks are more lean. Perfectly medium rare. Creamed spinach: delicious, creamy, buttery. 10/10! Mashed potato: it was ok. Definitely smooth and buttery but I'd try another menu item next time instead of this. Dessert: Strawberry cheesecake; the cheesecake itself and the buttercream was good. The buttercream definitely had a good strawberry flavoring. Though the glaze was a bit off putting. There was like a cherry-flavor cough syrup taste to it :/ had to scrape it off because it wasn't for my palate. The chocolate mousse: DE-freaking-LICIOUS. This was decadent, rich, and DARRRRK. If you like dark chocolate this is the dessert for you! It comes with crunchy chocolate biscuits which perfectly accompany the soft silky mousse. MUST TRY FOR SURE AND MUST KEEP COMING BACK FOR THIS ONE. -0.5 star Though since no one asked if we were celebrating a special occasion which I thought was standard for Landry's. The server also didn't ask us if we had Landry's select membership so we almost lost us on points. The ambiance was otherwise beautiful and romantic. Glad to be celebrating our special anniversary here.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was top notch, Chris thank you for the great service. Aaron the manager was a tool. My family went to celebrate my mom's 71st birthday and got treated like asholes. My nephew has an allergy to cashews and pistachios... who knew. I have been to Chilis where they have asked if there are any allergies in the party and I'm like nope, all good. So my nephew eats his Caesar salad which has no cashews or pistachios in it "supposedly" which on paper doesn't but my sister in-law looks further into and, guess what, another salad just happens to have Cashew oil. He has an allergic reaction in the restaurant and we rush him to the nearest pharmacy. So Aaron, the manager, says "why didn't you tell us about his allergies". MF why didn't you ask? I go to Del Frisco expecting a high end restaurant experience you would at least do the minimum like Chili's....nope. He is breaking out and is nauseous the whole time. Doesn't eat his food and ask we ask for a sprite to try to get him back to normal and no body cares. We get the treated like first class customers like we are number . Aaron appreciate your service. Best manager for customer service. You are number

Yelp
First time trying a different steakhouse. Everything was perfect from the drinks to the food. We got to try the whipped mashed potatoes since it was new to the menu which are my favorite. We will definitely be returning here.

Yelp
My birthday is in the next two weeks and one of my friends who accompanied me had a birthday two days prior so I thought this would be a nice place to celebrate. Delfriscos had a Houston restaurant week menu and I was excited that they had added vegetarian options so I booked a party of 5 to celebrate. Ok let's talk service. Service was amazing. I forgot the servers name and that is so unlike me but she was so sweet took our pictures and was very attentive. The setting was perfect and the vibes in the restaurant were nice. Most of my pics did not come out due to lighting so my food pics were limited. Let's talk food and drinks. The VIP drink was nice but I've been in the past and the drink this time didn't impress me. I also ordered the house Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and it was so good. As far as the meal the bread service was good. I had a blue cheese wedge for a starter and it was great. The wedge normally comes with bacon but I left that off obviously . My second dish was a cauliflower steak. It was gorgeous and plated nice. I love cauliflower but i was not happy with my dish for the value. My friends had filet mignon and they had potatoes included in their dish with veggies. I had a cauliflower steak and no sides I thought that was disappointing especially since the steaks included sides. I know the usually have a la carte options but I just didnt understand why the steaks had sides but mine did not. The flavor was nice but nothing special. One of my friends ordered filet mignon and ordered medium but they gave her medium well. She also said her lobster bisque was just ok. My other two girlfriends liked their dishes and said their steaks were cooked perfectly. My last dish was the chocolate mouse and it was delicious . I was disappointed that although we had restaurant week we were cheated of the Happy Birthday dish experience which was the reason I booked this spot. I don't plan to book any parties here in the future because of that. It would be nice for a date night spot. I really wish I had tried the truffle Mac and cheese maybe I'd change my mind lol. The wine was so good I'd visit maybe just for happy hour. I give five stars for the wine .

Yelp
This is our first time here and most certainly will not be the last! The atmosphere is so relaxing and classy, the staff are all ready to help you at a moments notice, our server Angie was absolutely amazing. This was our 3 year wedding anniversary and I would not want to spend it anywhere else. The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection.

Yelp
I have to say, I am absolutely a huge fan of this restaurant. Every time I dine here, the food never fails to amaze me. The steaks are definitely the golden calf of this place, but let me tell you, the Lamb Chops deserve to be on that same level. I made sure to give specific instructions for how I wanted my lamb cooked, and the chefs went above and beyond to deliver a dish that was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is top notch as well. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were treated with the utmost care and attention. And let's not forget about the stunning views in this two-story restaurant. It truly adds to the overall dining experience and makes it even more special. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites and I can't wait to come back for more mouthwatering dishes.

Yelp
It's crazy that I've been to so many resturants but kept missing this very popular steakhouse. Well I finally gave it a try for my besties birthday. The parking is understandable because it's the galleria. Park in the garage for free and walk or be temporarily lazy like me and valet..its 13.00. The ambiance is very nice and professional with all the holiday cheer. All of the staff was very nice. Our waitress knew the menu up and down and was able to spill out all the off menu items which was very helpful. She was on point with her customer service especially with it being a busy night. I forgot her name though. First look at the menu I started off mad. . Why is the side car 36.00!!! I don't care that you use 1738.. give me my Hennessey! Needless to say I ended up with a strawberry lemon drop that was very strong cause I couldn't do it! The food was very good. Not Amazing compared to other steak houses but very good! If I go back I am getting that bacon and then twice baked truffle potatoes (just need a little slap your mama).... they were Awesome! I was also loved the calamari, shrimp, mushrooms, and crab cake. I was advised the lamb chops and salmon were good and also Advised the chicken was just regular chicken. My entree was the crab rice topped with fish topped with a crab cake. It was pretty good. Ole boy on the piano was playing all the Urban hits last night. I was very impressed. So it's not the best steak house in Houston but it's pretty good.

Yelp
Great place to eat! The ambience was delightful. There was a beautiful girl singing and playing the piano. The service was amazing and the food! We had seafood. Sea Bass was great accompanied by the best lobster macaroni ever! We also had the blue cheese wedge salad which was delicious and an order of incredible scallops! The flavor was amazing! All with great drinks and the best warm buttery rolls. It was a splendid dinner! Had a party of 10 and everyone was pleased with their delicious meals! One suggestion to the chef is that the scallops meal, which were perfectly cooked and were flavorful, was too plain on the plate. It needed more presentation. In my opinion, I reccomend add a little bit of something else to the plate. I understand everything is a la cart, but maybe decorate the plate with pieces of lettuce or something green. Or maybe a small scoop of rice. Just an opinion, so the scallops don't look too empty and lonely on the plate. For a $60 meal, you want to see a little bit more of color and presentation! Overall, we highly recommend this place. It was our first time there coming from out of town.

Yelp
Came for a dinner meeting, overall food was good. Only complaint was asked for bread and never received it. Ordered the filet and that was cooked well and tasted yummy as well

Yelp
Had a great birthday dinner with our Houston Cougar while visiting. Definitely suggest reservations and valet parking for your convenience. Our waitress, Jessica, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable especially with our wine selection. She took great care of us. They had live music which was very inviting. Everything we ordered was so delicious. We tried the filet, prime ribeye and prime strip. All steaks were cooked to order. We did top the steaks off with truffle butter, shrimp and scallops. Our sides consisted of asparagus, chalet potatoes and mushrooms. We ended with a birthday dessert of strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu cream brûlée and the warm butter cake...yummy! Definitely a high end experience if looking for a nice steak dinner.

Yelp
Sometimes the level of shock can be overwhelming. Today I had lunch picked up for me and I utterly surprised at the take on what I believe to be a Vegan prepared dish. I can honestly say this was one of the most flavorless dishes from a restaurant that I would normally give high marks and have in past reviews. 1 star because I know you can do better 2 star because I in good faith would like to enjoy another meal here in the future, just better than this one My Cauliflower Steak literally was not pre-seasoned. It came with 3 sauces, that lacked accommodating flavored. 3 pieces of asparagus and I am not sure how the few pieces of mushroom were prepared as well, they could have been slightly sautéed or steamed, I really am not sure. I had no desire to complete it. Overall, I am saying this dish was poor in creativity, flavors and preparation. I eat vegan, however taste and flavors do matter. I will end this review here and hope that your menu can be a bit better in the future. Until the next time, Bye-Bye!

Yelp
During our weekend getaway, my husband and I visited a restaurant recommended by friends. Our first experience was fantastic, and we will definitely return in the future. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, and the staff was both professional and personable. The drinks were excellent, and we enjoyed the Prime Tomahawk, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Chateau Mashed Potato, and Crab Fried Rice. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing, and we were thoroughly pleased with our meal.

Yelp
Perfect example of a great place to eat. The appetizers and drinks were delicious and fast and the main courses were more than we could eat and cooked perfectly. Also they wrote a card for the celebration we were having and had the staff sign it. Nice touch

Yelp
On December 14th, I was invited to Del Frisco's for a Bday celebration! Also, it was my first time being there ,so I decided for my starter with a lobster bisque and for the entree' pan-roasted salmon. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable on the drinks and every entree'. The ambiance was very classy and amazing decor! And, yes I'll definitely will be back!!!

Yelp
We will never go back their knives couldn't even cut my Steak so I had to rip it apart it was tough and under cooked. My wife only ate half her fish her potato was cold and wouldn't even melt the butter my wife had bad diarrhea when we got home. No one checked to see if we were happy with our food. My brother and his wife where not happy with their food either. They had come in from NC. The drinks were horrible also neither wife finished theirs. We wished we hadn't tipped 20% because their was no SERVICE. The table was in a bad place also stuffed on the corner of the railing. When we left disappointed after paying $450 and still hungry. My brothers wife slipped and fell on their marble stairs employees witnessed this and just looked the other way. If had been me or my wife we would be contacting an attourney today. We will never stray from Taste of Texas anymore!

I definitely recommend try it if you haven't the soup was great .

Yelp
Always a wonderful time at Del. I used to frequent happy hour years and years ago and dinner occasionally but idk why I never reviewed. This time it's a must because the visit was outstanding. #1 - Server & Staff - CHRIS was above & beyond, friendly, awesome personality, attentive, comical, thorough with going over off menu specials, not rushing or hurrying, just such a pleasant demeanor all the way around. #2 - All of the food was timely, fresh, piping hot, drinks refilled without asking. Just delightful to partake in delicious food you can tell was prepared by top chefs & quality ingredients. #3 - Each food item: Crab cake - not too much pasty filling, great crab flavor with crunchy peppers and a lovely seasoned sauce that accented the seafood without over powering the flavor. Delightful. Lobster Mac & cheese - Healthy portion, creamy, Al dente pasta, cheesy, tart but sweet pieces of lobster throughout. Hard to stop eating, comfort food upgraded. Creamed corn - YES, LOVE a creamed corn that doesn't slide of the spoon like water, that's thick a creamy and decadent. This is it, sweet but with a pepper kick for flavor, so creamy you can eat with a fork, fresh shucked corn that crunches as you chew, YES, try it. Filet mignon - Large SUPER thick cut, so tender, juicy & crispy on the outside, seasoned just right not bland and boring. That's how you do it!! #4 Ambiance - The kicker this place always perpetuates classy from the dark walls, large booths, soft table linens, winding stair case with rod iron. Just elegant. Perfect for happy hour the bar is large, great music, live sometimes, a sexy girls night or romantic date. 2 Thumbs up to Del for a wonderful dining experience. Meatballs - italiana perfection. 2 Gargantuan steak & beef meatballs, melt in your mouth cheese & sauce with a powerful backside kick of some sort of fresh pepper that they actual cut and use as garnish on the top. Awesome appetizer.

Yelp
I went for drinks with my friend and we wanted dessert. Sat at the bar and had a great time, Miranda was great and had lots of suggestions for us. I ended up getting the butter cake with vanilla ice cream instead of butter pecan and it was sooo good! It's always good here but we just wanted drinks and dessert, wish they had a happy hour though but it's all good!

Yelp
I hadn't been here in two years and this was my third time ever. It was also my first takeout from this place out of my 3 visits total. I purchased a takeout of the Dry-Aged NY Strip cooked medium rare this time. It was very delicious, high quality, well-seasoned, moist, firm with some bounce and yet really tender too. It had a nice abundance of salt n pepper combined with tasting really beefy. It had a terrific crust from the sear on top with a soft, juicy inside. It was easy to cut in every piece. The dry-aged flavor was highly noticeable with a nutty flavor in the mix. I ordered this same steak on my first-ever visit here and it was more of a blue cheese with lemon pepper zing blend of aromas. This one was more of a great, traditional dry-aged meat cut done simply, but with excellence. The service was great. I normally order my steaks at rare temperature these days and don't know why I picked medium rare this time since I wasn't sharing it and was just for me. I admit the meat was cooked a bit too much heading into the medium range, but it was still great in all the right ways and luckily still reddish inside. On another note, I could've sworn this exact menu item was thirty bucks cheaper two years ago. Anyway, if you also want awesome crab cakes, chocolate mousse and lemon cake, this is a place to consider for those as well as the steaks.

Yelp
Amazing experience! My husband and I stopped in Del Frisco's one afternoon after window shopping in The Galleria. We were new to the area and excited to venture out. We were greeted and promptly seated upstairs despite not having a reservation. We loved the moody decor and upscale atmosphere. Our server was friendly and professional. We explained that we were new to Houston. He made sure to make us feel welcome and made several menu recommendations. The food was phenomenal! Shrimp cocktail was delicious and the lobster bisque was one of the best I've had. My filet was cooked perfectly. My husband had the roasted chicken (surprisingly he's not obsessed with steak like me). I thought his meal might be kind of blah since it was "just a chicken dish" at a steakhouse. To my surprise, the roasted chicken was juicy and flavorful. From beginning to end, it was a really great experience.

Yelp
Tonight they dropped nothing but BALLLLLSSS I should've just went to Willie G's and took myself home. Came here to utilize my select club member rewards. Sat at the bar for over 10 mins and no one never acknowledged me. I had to flag down two people to be seen. It's pretty full on this cool crisp Saturday night. Bar is first come. So I sat and study upstairs. The tea was good. Well the first cup was. Nice and hot and just right once drinking after been steeped. It took forever to get bread. Which was delivered before the soup of the day. Now I explained to the manager that I want to enjoy my soup with bread since. Oyster crackers wasn't an option. The bread was hard like crackers. No one never return to check if the food was good. Or if I needed anything. The soup turn cold and hard. Asking for bread which never came out for me. But was served to surrounding tables. I told the manager he removed the soup and replaced it. And brought out bread. I was over it. My plastic spoon was taking. Away and that'll be another hour wait. I'm beyond annoyed. Oh the best ball drop was when he brought out this check and the soup of the day that was listed at $13 a bowl was $15.50. A bowl. And I didn't eat since I couldn't eat it with a fork. I'll pay for the tea. Which I believe is fair.
