$10 Million, Two-Story Steakhouse Docks Soon on the Waterfront | Eater San Diego

"Opening on Saturday, November 3, a two-story, 16,650-square-foot Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse brings the Texas-born steakhouse to the San Diego waterfront, dropping into the base of the newly-established InterContinental Hotel. Designed by Aria Group with a Texas-sized budget, the restaurant seats 480 guests across a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and includes five private dining rooms. Executive chef Brian Christman, who ran the flagship New York branch and has two decades of steakhouse experience including time at Mastro’s and Smith & Wollensky, will lead a kitchen serving premium meats from 45-day dry-aged steaks to wagyu sourced from around the world. The steakhouse’s award-winning wine list will be overseen by Faith Fulginiti, who managed an $8 million wine program in Manhattan, and Michael Manoocheri, an alum of luxury properties including the Four Seasons Hotels, Hotel Bel-Air, and Auberge du Soleil, will serve as general manager." - Candice Woo

I was excited to hear that Del Frisco‘s was located on international Drive. I assumed it was no longer available in the Orlando area after the location off Lee Road closed. I was very excited to hear that there was still a restaurant in Orlando and cannot wait to go. Everything was absolutely delicious just like I had remembered. The steak was very delicious. It had a wonderful Gorgonzola topping. The lobster bisque soup was wonderful!!! There was a lot of lobster meat in the soup as well. The port wine was perfect in pairing with the steak. Next time I would love to try the port flight, which has the 10, 20, 30, 40 year ports. The inside was very nicely decorated for a fine dining restaurant. The staff was very kind and was very helpful. We had a wonderful time! thank you.

The atmosphere was great, service amazing, and the food was excellent. The seafood tower was large and fresh. The tomatoes salad, ceaser salad and wedges were large and could have been their own serving. The lamb was tasty and a worthy contender for a meal. The 45 day aged meat was tender, but if you aren't used to it, the loss of juices can be different. All of the meat and sauces were tender and flavorful. We even found room for desert, the creme brulee was an excellent flavor of orange cycle. Recomend all items, you won't be disappointed.

I was told that Del Frisco’s on I-Drive has a really good Butter Cake, and as always, I am willing to try a restaurant based on a particular item. For appetizers, we started with the Wagyu Meatballs which were perfectly seasoned with a hint of spicyness. Our entrées were equally impressive: the Salmon was beautifully cooked with a crisp exterior and buttery interior. Although I prefer to have my Salmon served with the skin taken off, this was still very good. Our other entree was the Seabass paired with Crab Rice. Let me just say that the Crab Rice stole the show for the evening. If you decide to dine here, the Crab Rice is a MUST have. For dessert, the Butter Cake was as advertised.....very well presented and worth every bite. Overall, Del Frisco's delivered a great dining experience that blended a very upscale ambiance with the food having memorable flavors with a special notation for the Crab Rice. Also, I would suggest arriving a little before the average dinner time so that you can find parking.

Google
Great food and service. Not my first visit, but first time reviewing Del Frisco’s in Orlando. The calamari is always delicious and one of my favorites. The Surf & Turf Filet Trio is such a great entree, I highly recommend it. The Steak is tasty and seasoned well and so is the large shrimp and crab portion served on top of each steak (see picture). The heightened level of service starts with valet staff and continues with the hosts, food runners, and servers. For dessert, the butter cake was great.

After a long week of Disney we were looking for the best steakhouse in town, we got a lot of recommendations to stop here! Literally the best steak I’ve had in a long time! The best of the best white glove service by far. Christian and Val very professional and amazing service! They were very kind and knowledgeable. They rep this restaurant well and very enthusiastic and helpful in every way, we just loved them!! We can’t forget about manager I believe his name was David super awesome! Wine guy just so much knowledge about wine and just super cool! I didn’t even mention how delicious my filet mignon was 🤤 with a wagyu meatball starter that was so good! with perfect portions, Kids loved the lobster mac & cheese. And the wine selection, insane! they just kept bringing the best of the best for my wife and our mothers. I Highly recommend this place 10 star by far! ask to sit in Christian and Val area for the best service.

I ate at Del Frisco’s on the recommendation of a friend. The pros: Wonderful service from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was excellent and had great recommendations. The filet mignon was very tender. The cons: SALT. My God today, everything was salty. The tuna tartare, the bread, the mashed potatoes, and the steak. It was a salt overload. I am thinking it was an off night because I have several friends who enjoy Del Frisco’s and were surprised by my food experience. I am thinking it was an off night and I would be open to trying them again.

Came here for a cute girls night date and it was wonderful. From the moment we were being seated we were greeted so warmly and our waitress made recommendations based on preference for me and my friend. All of the appetizers are big enough to share so keep that in mind when ordering! The tomato and burrata salad was refreshing and there was enough to share. Obviously if you love tomatoes you will love the flavors and effort put into such a simple dish. The bread was good! It was crispy on the outside and airy/fluffy on the inside! The Caesar salad was my favorite caesar that I've ever had at a restaurant. The cocktails were definitely worth the money. Delicious and perfectly spirited. The steak was absolutely delicious. I got the 16 oz New York strip. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked correctly (medium) which is uncommon for such a busy restaurant. The steak melted in my mouth. It was juicy with the perfect crust. To pair I had the potatoes. Pairing them both was truly the perfect bite. To finish I had the butter cake and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend that as your dessert. I look forward to coming back and trying the wine selection!

Google
Del Frisco’s Orlando – Strong Start, Room for Improvement Del Frisco’s offers an upscale dining experience with great ambiance and service. The appetizers were the highlight — absolutely scrumptious and full of flavor. The main courses were enjoyable overall, but I was disappointed with my steak, which had noticeable sinew and fat strains — something unexpected at a high-end steakhouse. To their credit, the server handled the situation with professionalism, was sincerely apologetic, and even offered us complimentary desserts, which was a thoughtful gesture. A good experience overall, though I’d expect better steak quality from a place of this reputation.

Yelp
Awesome upscale food and atmosphere. My family and I have gone to Del Frisco's for two birthday dinners in December. Each time, the food and service were great. The only drawback is parking... they have a small parking lot, valet was busy both times we went, and you're allowed to self park at the CVS next door. As for the food, my favorites are filet mignon, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken, complimentary bread, and their drinks. We'll be back for birthday dinners for sure!

Yelp
Because it was just the two of us this year for Thanksgiving we chose to dine out and had never been to Del Frisco's before. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to our reservation time and were told that we wouldn't be seated until closer to our reservation time but we were welcome to sit at the bar and have a drink beforehand. We no sooner head to the bar when the hostess came by asking if we are ready to go to our table. Our server greeted us promptly and provided the wine list and covered some of the specials tonight. They have a very extensive wine list but their cocktail menu is also pretty good too. My husband opted for an old-fashioned. It's important to note that their old-fashioned is a little different as it is made with Earl gray bitters and Earl Gray tea simple syrup. I'm a tea drinker so I thought it was delicious but definitely not his go to. I opted for a glass of Pinot Grigio because I knew I was gonna have fish. I forget the name of it, but I know it was from Italy. It was delicious. We put our order in at the same time that we put our drink order in as we had looked at the menu prior to arriving at the restaurant. We both started off with the lobster bisque and my husband got the double cut pork chop and I got the salmon. The lobster bisque was OK. They do use Sherry in their lobster bisque and it's just not our preference but overall it was OK. Definitely not a lot of lobster in it and a little salty the more you ate it. My husband's pork chop was cooked perfectly and he said that it was very good. The salmon was OK. There was very little seasoning on it and they do cook it with the skin on which always makes it just a little bit fishier than I'm used to. Again that's my personal pallet preference, to cook salmon with the skin off. We also got a side of au gratin potatoes and they were delicious. Very creamy. Overall, the food was OK. The downside is because it was a holiday, the kitchen definitely got in the weeds. It was well over an hour before we got our food. We considered a dessert afterwards and ended up changing our mind and when our server came to Pick up our check, she said we had made the right choice because they were behind on the desserts. We definitely would be willing to give them another try but not on a holiday night. I will say the servers were exceptional and very attentive.

Yelp
I ate at Del Frisco's on the recommendation of a friend. I loved the ambience of the restaurant. It was dark but well lit. I know this is an oxymoron, but it's the best way I can describe it! Yelp
Del Frisco's is always a treat for a special occasion for us and it never disappoints! I started off with their VIP cocktail! It's made with pineapple fermented in clementine vodka and is my favorite! Then I had their salad wedge. It is always nice and crisp and fresh. Served on a chilled dish topped with creamy dressing, bacon, tomatoes and cheese. I then ordered their filet it is like eating butter, but not literally! It is tender, juicy and so and cooked perfectly! I paired a California Cabernet with my steak. Then to end the evening with an amazing dessert I had their butter cake with ice cream! Simply Devine! The service is always wonderful and very attentive! The ambiance is low lights, inviting and tasteful!

Yelp
Enjoyed an anniversary date night at Del Frisco's during Magical Dining. We ordered one meal from Magical dining: tuna tartare, filet (upgraded to 12ounce), butter cake dessert. Then we ordered lobster Mac n cheese, and a loaded baked potato. I enjoyed a mocktail and my husband had a beer. The mocktail was great - I appreciated that the mocktail had complex flavors. It was all very good from start to finish. The serving sizes were all massive and we ended up bringing a large amount of food home. In terms of service, everyone was on point - from the hostesses, to the server to the runners and bussers - everyone was fantastic.

Yelp
As soon you walk in you are met with an upscale ambiance and dim lighting. Parking is limited and usually full if you decide to park yourself so I recommend the complimentary valet parking. We ordered off of the magical dining menu and everything was delicious. The filet mignon was seasoned to perfection and so was the mashed potatoes! The service was also very efficient and timely.

Yelp
We came here for Father's Day and it was an amazing meal. They do offer complimentary valet parking, but there was a line for it when we got there so we parked around the side. Also, I didn't want to wait for our car when we were leaving the restaurant. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The restaurant was not busy even though it was Father's Day. They had many reservations still available. The complementary rolls had a really good flavor, but we're a little dry on the top. My husband got the thick cut bacon to start. It was heavy on the pepper and a little fattier than we remember, but still good. His Long Island iced tea was really good also. It didn't taste much like alcohol, but you could tell it was strong. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked as was the side of mushrooms. My ahi tuna salad was melt in your mouth and had so much tuna. Rare, just the way I like it. It kind of tasted like a deconstructed sushi roll without the rice. I don't think better quality tuna exists. They packed up some leftover bacon, steak, and mushrooms. I asked if they could put the two leftover rolls but they forgot. They also didn't put the leftover blue cheese sauce on my husband's steak. I guess he should have put it on the steak before they took it. This is a great restaurant for a special occasion.

Yelp
Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse Omg. So I've been to this location 2 other times. The first time was during magical dinning which made it one of hubby's favorite steakhouses. Today we went for Father's Day. The waiter was Derek. He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave a great recommendation, love that. Hubby got the Chilean sea bass prepared like the salmon for him and I got the salmon. Side of cream corn. We had calamari as our appetizer. All was good a definite recommendation. Atmosphere: dim lighting, There is some noise from the dishes but the music drowns that out- I did not get a picture, the tables are set; wine glass, silverware and napkins. Atmosphere is everything thing!!! Price: per person 38$ appetizer 24$ cream corn 16$. 2 person with tip bout 200$. Know that the entire does not include side Check the menu before you go. Enjoy! A definite recommendation. Parking is limited

Yelp
I don't think I can put in words how great this place is. It was so good I went twice in the five days I was in Orlando lol. Both times I had the prime bone in ribeye steak. Very good flavor and perfectly cooked. Family sides for the table were creamed corn, au gratin potatoes which were delicious. I'm allergic to seafood so I can't comment on those items but everyone said it was good. Let's not forget the cheesecake! Very airy. Not dense like typical cheesecake. It was quite refreshing. The room is very nice but loud. The bar area was very busy too. Service was top notch both times. I highly recommend going.

Yelp
Started out magical dining strong! I went here for a girls night and everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance. I had the wedge salad, kuboto porkchop and butter cake. We also ordered sides of mash, baked potatoes and asparagus. The pork chop was large and tasted like a tomahawk steak, so juicy and light. The mash was yummy and flavorful. The cake was buttery and soft. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. I also ordered the vip drink and it was sweet and hit the spot. I will definitely recommend coming here for special events. $60 magical dining worth the wait!

Yelp
What an awesome time! I haven't been here in a few years so we ordered a bunch of delicious things:) Warm fresh bread to start and a couple of drinks. Maple Bourbon Sour:) Whistle Pig, some lemon juice, maple syrup and a tad of bitters. Great mix and loved it to start our feast. Ordered some calamari that was slightly spicy with a sweet chili glaze. I could have eaten this with a bowl of rice and called it a day. We got the creamed corn, the sweet potato casserole, truffle twice baked potato and not pictured my precious broccolini:) The sides were a 10 out of 10 in my book. Fresh black truffle shaved on the potato's, creamy sweet and savory corn and of course the sweet potato casserole is a favorite of my wife and each bite was always met with a look of satisfaction. Of course I had to get the Tomahawk- 32 ounces of medium-rare heaven. The plan was to eat the whole thing, but too much for this guy to handle and had some leftovers to have steak and eggs in the morning. The wife got the Braised Angus Short rib on tip of a horseradish whipped potatoes. This was super tasty and the short rib was melt in your mouth. We ended with the warm butter cake. We were so full and wasn't planning on ordering dessert, but it was our 15 year anniversary and our waiter provided a little surprise or us with this cake. Let's just say we made room and ate the whole thing. Not too sweet, moist, and a perfect ending to our meal. Not as expensive as I thought it was going to be, but be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars. Excellent food and service. It is hustling and bustling, and the lighting is dim to provide a cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
A great restaurant with great food and drink. Just make sure that someone else is paying the bill. A good time, yes. A good value, no.

Yelp
Many years ago when in Winter Park it was unbeatable. A great value. We ordered a 32 oz tomahawk at the international Dr location. if there was 12 oz of meat it's a push. We've eaten tomahawks at other steak restaurants and walked away full. And fed 3 people. Not at Del Friscos. If I did not have my family I would have sent it back. . Not worth at all. They did provide a free anniversary piece of cheesecake. Unfortunately it was tasteless. No cheese flavor. Tasted artificial. The asparagus were large beautiful and cooked perfectly. The side lobster was $6.00 an oz. And unremarkable. Not planning a return any time soon.

Yelp
Celebrating two friends' birthdays at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse was an exceptional choice. We had heard rave reviews about this establishment and were eager to experience it firsthand. Securing a 7 PM reservation was effortless, and upon arrival, we were impressed by the stunning façade and convenient valet parking. Our inaugural visit exceeded expectations, with impeccable service, atmosphere, and cuisine. The $60 per person meal, including appetizer and dessert courses, was a superb value. We opted for family-style dining, selecting four appetizers, entrees, and desserts, which enhanced our experience. Complimentary bread and expertly prepared starters dishes, including tuna tartare, Wagyu meatballs, Heirloom tomato and Burrata Salad and Blue cheese lettuce wedge. À la cart we decided to go with three different options for sides. The first included lobster macaroni and cheese, Grilled asparagus and truffle french fries which left us impressed. Our entrees consisted of beautifully plated dishes of filet mignon, double bone Kurobuta pork chop, crabcakes and roasted half chicken. Although we were satiated, we managed to enjoy desserts to-go, including strawberry hibiscus cheesecake and warm butter cake. The 2 hour dining experience was outstanding, culminating with a complimentary cupcake for the birthday celebrants. We highly recommend Del Frisco's to anyone visiting Orlando.

Yelp
We came here for the Magical Dining Experience, great value 3 courses $60, sides were a la carte. The entrance is spectacular, there's a huge staircase and a Magical Chandelier, there's a dress code so look it up before going and reservations would be a great idea. We ordered so much food: Roast Chicken, Pork Chops, Steak, Crab Cakes, Lobster Mac N Cheese, Truffle Fries, Cesar Wedge Salad, Wagu Meatballs, and Tuna Tartare. Everything was absolutely delicious, my favorite was the Crab cakes, barely had any filler just Crab, and the Lobster Mac N Cheese was the best I've ever had. The Meatballs was also really really good. The Pork Chops was so tender and juicy, and the Steak was succulent and tender. As I mentioned before you can't go wrong with any of these dishes. Service was great!! I can't wait to go back there.

Yelp
Fun restaurant. Great atmosphere. We had amazing service and food. The short ribs were so good. Bread was delicious. We ordered ALL the desserts and the butter cake was the best by far. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First time going to this place last night for Magical Dining. Everything was delicious. The place is fancy and the vibe is chill. Would def go again in the future. The service was also excellent!

Yelp
I've celebrated every one of my special occasions at this Del Frisco's location, and until now it was my favorite restaurant. Tonight was our first time trying the Magical Dining menu, and I left feeling let down from start to finish--even though I still tipped generously ($120 on a $558 check, nearly $700 total) out of respect for the industry. The night began with promise. We decided to start with oysters, which were excellent--clean, fresh, and perfectly chilled. But even ordering them was a struggle. Our server, Susann, never offered cocktails or asked if we wanted appetizers. We actually had to flag her down just to get her attention to order the oysters and request a wine list. For a fine-dining steakhouse of this caliber, that lack of basic hospitality was a red flag. After going back and forth on whether to stick with the regular menu or try the Magical Dining option, we decided to give the special menu a shot. Maybe that was a mistake. The first course--the shrimp cocktail and the burrata with heirloom tomatoes--was excellent. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and gave us hope that the night was turning in the right direction. Unfortunately, service never warmed up. Susann remained polite but disengaged the entire evening. She offered no cocktail suggestions, gave no guidance on the menu, and never tried to build any connection, despite me even asking her how long she'd been with the restaurant (five years). For a restaurant of this stature--especially during a special promotion--this level of detachment was surprising. Dinner is where everything really fell apart. I ordered the Pittsburgh-rare filet with Gorgonzola crust and a Chateau potato side. My date ordered the same filet, medium rare. My steak arrived rare but without the requested char and was clearly an end cut--thin and not appealing. When I mentioned it, Susann questioned whether our plates had been mixed up instead of simply apologizing and taking action. My date found her filet tough and stringy and sent it back, eventually switching to the crab cake entrée, which was better. My steak was taken back to the kitchen and returned with a char on only one side and was now overcooked. Meanwhile, our $17 potatoes sat on the table the entire time, growing cold while both entrées were being re-prepared. What made it worse was the complete lack of acknowledgment. Not one manager stopped by to apologize for the inconvenience of having both entrées returned. Susann never apologized either--just a silent exchange of plates as if nothing had happened. At a fine-dining restaurant, that absence of basic hospitality speaks volumes. To add insult to injury, when the check arrived, my date's entrée switch to crab cakes was never reflected. We were still charged for two filets, including the extra Gorgonzola upcharge. I noticed it, but by that point I was so over the terrible experience that I simply paid the bill, tipped well, and left--just wanting to get out and never come back. The one highlight of the evening was the wine service--at least at first. Steven, the wine steward, was excellent. He guided us to a $250 Gagnon Kennedy Cuvee that we loved. Unfortunately, once the bottle was decanted, Susann never poured a single glass. I poured every one myself, which again felt off for a restaurant of this caliber. To top it all off, the valet experience ended the night on a sour note. When we were leaving, the valet was initially pleasant and my vehicle arrived quickly. But as I was about to close the door, the valet who brought the car held up my keys--showing me he hadn't left them inside--and then asked if we had tipped the other valet. I had, but the question itself was absolutely classless and unnecessary. It was the cherry on top of a disappointing Sunday. This visit was supposed to be special: our first Magical Dining experience and another celebration at what used to be my go-to restaurant. Instead, it exposed gaps in service, management oversight, billing accuracy, and even valet professionalism that I never expected from Del Frisco's. At these prices, guests deserve more than cold potatoes, an overcooked steak, and a colder response from staff. Despite everything, I still tipped well because I know this industry is hard. But after years of choosing this location for my most important celebrations, I can't see myself returning.

Yelp
Went to dinner last night they offer a 60 special for three courses. I ordered the crab appetizer which was just chilled jumbo lump crab with a dipping sauce. I love crab. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the dish. I also upgraded to a rib eye steak. It was actually better than the steak I received from this chain in my home state. The dessert we choose was the butter cake. I haven't eaten it yet. We also get it so I know its good. For sides we got brocollini and the lobster mac and cheese. The smoked old fashioned was presented nicely and not too sweet. I ordered my usual martini with blue cheese olives. We received excellent service from our waiter Derrick from Louisiana. I really enjoyed our conversation. It was a good night.

Yelp
July 19/2024: Dinner with my Al, Ed & Lisa. A mid to high quality steakhouse. Every thing is A-La-Carte so be ready for that & the large sizes. Lettuce wedge salad ($16.00) as an appetizer. Very tasty & blue cheesie. My main was an 8oz Filet Mignon ($56.00) with a side of Wild Mushrooms ($17.00). The steak was grilled to perfection but the mushrooms missed cause they weren't hot enough. Also had tastes of the asparagus ($16.00) & the lobster Mac & cheese & the Sea Bass ($51.00). All tasty but none overly standoutish. Our server "Marco" has a great personality, was attentive & did a terrific job. This was a solid meal. Total cost was $250.00/2 ppl. So, not cheap. This was a very tasty meal & it's a recommend from me.

Yelp
Update went to the website management put below and it doesn't work, same response on all reviews with a lower star! Update I believe i have all the info here on the review . Was on vacation Christmas went as I always do. Of course it was packed could not seat at the bar . But was offered a table next to the bar. Our server was very off hands i mean it was busy but she would come every 15 minutes so drink and food ordered took 30 minutes. The food was sliders filet mignon we order medium well . We ordered a good bottle and had some bread when the food came up the filet was bloody raw . We couldn't even eat it . We had to wait 15 minutes again till our server came back and said more for your husband! Then disappeared as we waited 20 minutes more and no server as we wanted to get my wife's re order so she can eat . We ordered a side dish and also i had finish my course still nothing. Finally we decided to leave i had to flag her down and i saw as all this happened she was having good service with other tables ? Maybe cause we order apps and not a 100 dollar steak. Well we never got to-order our steak! A manager came over and apologized and refunded our app order. We paid for the bottle and drink and left . Shocking was the server never came back just stared?! This is the end of my Del Frisco's experience . And the first time i have had to take an unfinished bottle from a restaurant. This is not any restaurant it's a Double Eagle restaurant please management all customers are important. Don't judge a table by their app order and the kitchen should vare a bit more.

Atmosphere destroyed the evening. Definitely need soundproofing in the dining side of the bar area, which is where we sat. It was absolutely deafening, it was almost impossible to keep a conversation. The sound system was terribly muffled and horrible, it would've been better if they just shut it off. And I'm not referring to the choice of music, either the system is blown and all the high frequencies are dead or someone who is deaf tuned it. To be honest, I would never return here just based on the experience we had while dining. No matter how good the food is, which it was better than most steakhouses, the atmosphere was horrendous.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting, found this place last time I was in town and of course had to return this time knowing I was going to love it. We had the swordfish, the ribeye and the lamb chops. Everything was beyond delicious. The staff is on point and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I'm sure I'll be visiting once more before leaving. Oh the butter cake dessert is a must try!!!

Yelp
My new favorite restaurant! If you are looking for a place to go that will impress you, definitely go here! I don't find many restaurants that excite me in Orlando, but this is definitely one. The service here is outstanding! Be prepared to have so much knowledge thrown at you so many great recommendations, and followed by the great recommendations comes the amazing food! We ordered a handful of items on this menu and every single one of them, boo us out of the water! The tomahawk steak was perfectly prepared, the salads were phenomenal, the seafood were even better! And don't forget to save room for dessert because you've definitely will be amazed. Obviously, the pricing here is pretty steep, but definitely well worth the pay!

Yelp
This was an after Valentine's Day outing. Honestly, it wasn't that memorable, but I have to say the bread that they served in the table was amazing! I like the ambiance. It can be for a date, business meal or a special occasion. Overall, I do think we will be back.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. We've always had a fantastic experience anytime we've gone to Del Frisco's double eagle steakhouse on international Drive . From the moment we walk in to the moment we leave we've always had top-notch service

Yelp
The service was great, decor and vibe is great, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular. When I go to a restaurant of this caliber I expect to have an experience, and it was very mid. My guests enjoyed their meals, but everyone felt it was just ok. One person had a filet and needed to send it back because it wasn't cooked properly.

Yelp
I was planning on going to a restaurant on International Drive just to get a feel for Orlando while there for a convention. What I encountered was a long line of cars and no parking. I looked to my right and saw Del's big parking lot. Split second decision and I'm in the left hand turn lane heading into what became one of the best meals of my life! The Del's salad was so delish and if you're a light eater, it could be a meal in itself. The bacon layered on top and the creamy dressing! I wasn't hungry enough for a steak so ordered the Wagyu Meatballs. I will dream of these meatballs until the day I die! I would seriously considering driving the three hours this restaurant is away from me to eat here again for these meatballs! Their taste profile was just perfect. The Tomato Fondue they were served in was some of the best Italian seasoning I've ever had. And I'm not even a fan of Italian food! The service was good but not super friendly. Albeit, I hadn't planned on going to an upscale steakhouse, so wasn't really dressed for it. They still accommodated my request to serve my Pellegrino in a wine glass though! Loved this restaurant. Just go! Order the meatballs. You can thank me later!

Yelp
It has become an annual tradition for my wife and I to go to Del Frisco's on Christmas Day. Surprisingly, we had the same server as last year. Her name is McKenzie and she is absolutely fabulous. We made our reservation for very early in the afternoon right after opening, and it was still quite crowded by the time we were seated. The ambiance was relaxed and it actually felt like any other day. This go round, I decided to go off the beaten path... so no steak. Last year I did the Waygu. We started off with the Salmon French Toast. A savory French toast topped with smoked salmon, caviar, crème fraiche, and a champagne caramel. 9/10 My main was the Chilean Sea Bass with crab fried rice, with sides for the table consisting of lobster Mac and cheese, and creamed spinach. The sea bass was exquisite with the black bean garlic sauce an ample complement to the rich fattiness of the fish. Del Frisco's has some of my favorite steakhouse Mac and cheese and I was reminded of why. The true star of the show for me was the bread... they appeared to be Hawaiian rolls, but were basted in honey butter with sea salt on top. Very hard to not eat too many of them. Needless to say, there is a reason this has become a Christmas tradition. 5 stars.

Yelp
Great food and service ambiance is upscale but not too over dress. I wouldn't go in jeans and T-shirt. The filet you don't even need a knife to cut it service is white glove service. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Had a good time with friends here! Great service! I think our server's name is Orlando. All of the dishes we ordered is delicious and we really liked the bread. The restaurant is beautiful and simple. #honestreview

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary during Magical Dining and had a really awesome experience. Having had a reservation, we were seated immediately and our servers attended to us very quickly. The interior was dimly lit but not too dark where you can't see who you're talking to or your food, it was the perfect amount of mood lighting. We started off with a bottle of wine and our starters, followed by our entrees. My filet mignon was good but perhaps a tad undercooked. Nevertheless, the presentation of all of our food was really well done. I really appreciated the extra touch and acknowledgement of our celebration with a little chocolate happy anniversary sign. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, I highly recommend you check this place out!

Yelp
For starters, I had to increase my reservation twice, the staff handled it impeccably, thats appreciated. The hostess and wait staff were perfect. We had this table in the main dining room, and yet all on its own in the corner, it was really terrific, not private but definitely preferred. Apps were good, their spicy shrimp were very good, meatballs, bacon, all good. Sides too, Corn, mashed, mushrooms, as you'd expect. My steak was PERFECT. The knife almost fell through it. One of th most tender ever. Butter cake and tiramisu were also good. this was a 5 star experience.

Yelp
Came back to Del Frisco's to celebrate our son's graduation ( go gators). The service was amazing like our previous visit. We order the same dishes ( ribeye's) and some sides. The food is just amazing. I've been many 's houses in different states , cities and countries. Del Frisco's by far one of my fav. The only minor thing was that they ran out of the wine I wanted. The good thing is that their Wine list is huge so no issue picking another wine.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best steaks and salads I've had ever!! I had the filet mignon, medium rare and it was done PERFECTLY! It's a quick walk from the Hyatt Regency on International Drive - not worth an Uber.

Yelp
I visited del Friscos again and had to rave about their magical dinning menu!!! It was fantastic!! $60 for a 8oz steak and an appetizer, which I got two HUGE meatballs! They were amazing with a sauce that had a kick! I've been here before but never for magical dining! It was worth it! However this time I was really disappointed by the valet. When we got there they were busy as expected but they were rude, wouldn't even answer my questions as to where to leave the car or where to wait for my car to get parked. I was asking one of the valet guys and then other guy interrupted me to say "we will be with you in a moment" about 15 mins later they finally got to me. I was late for my reservation at that point. I had no issue waiting I just wanted to be instructed on where to wait safely.... That interaction almost made us leave and go somewhere else and as a manager I'd like to know how my front of house is doing. It was disappointing especially when you're going to spend hundreds of dollars at a restaurant. Food was 10/10 as always and so was the service inside.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. Filet melted in my mouth, Garlic Mash was super tasty, and the creamed spinach was my favorite side

Yelp
I recently visited Del Frisco's for a work retirement dinner. This was my first time trying out this steak house, and was excited to see what they had to offer. Since it was a large party, about 20 people, we were sat in a private room which made it easier to hear and interact with each Luther. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. The menu was prix fix, which made it a simple decision on what my dinner would be. The table shared the crab cakes which were delicious. I chose the Del's salad for my salad option, and the bacon on there was cooked to perfection. As my entree, I chose the filet mignon. I'm not a huge fan of steak, but this was easily the best steak I have ever had. For dessert, I had the butter cake. Every who ordered that was obsessed with it. If you haven't been here yet, then it's time for you to plan a visit! Thanks for a great dinner!

Yelp
So pleasantly surprised by our dinner here! Big win was the filet mignon, medium rare. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. In comparison, the S.O.'s ribeye was a tad underwhelming. We had a tuna tartare appetizer and it was delicious though I think a more delicate chip would be better. We also ordered 2 sides - creamed corn and mashed potatoes. The corn was easily the winner - highly recommend. The portion sizes of the sides are easily enough for 3-4 people so we ended up with leftovers. The best part is the complimentary bread. It's so buttery and soft and delicious. We didn't have room for dessert which was a bummer because I'm pretty sure it'd be delicious too. Overall, a wonderful dinner option. A bit on the pricier side, but very satisfying. Also, we were dressed very casually as we'd just gotten off a 5-hour flight, but we still felt comfortable. There are some really nicely dressed folks, then us scrubbier-looking ones, but we did not feel awkward about it. Also, coincidentally, I had a work-related event here years ago. It was a morning event and we were in a space that can be closed off. Really great option for an event space too.

Yelp
This place is horrible, used to be ok but has really gone downhill. Very slow service. the bartenders were nice at least. My steak came out severely underdone, and so did the persons steak next to me. I had to send it back. It took me over two and a half hours to have dinner, when it should have been half that time. Very very overpriced for the service and quality you get. Also when I left there was someone throwing up right outside the door. Save yourself some money and don't go here.

Yelp
We chose this restaurant to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. We were a little discouraged at first because they booked the larger portion of the restaurant for a private party so the romantic intimate seating we were hoping for not available. We started to leave but we made these reservations months in advance. Our server was very accommodating & so nice we stayed. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. Once the food started arriving we knew we were in the right place. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back the next time we are in town.

Yelp
Food delicious! The steak (ny strip), mash potatoes and lobster Mac and cheese are delicious! The only negative thing was on a Friday or Saturday night when busy, could take very long for food which is understandable but just heads up. This was our experience but the waitress very Friendly!

Yelp
This is one of our favorite steak spots in Orlando. We love our local spots but Del Frisco's takes the helm when it's comes to beef yummies West of Orlando! When it's comes to ambiance, integral ingredients, and top notch service we have never been disappointed with Del Frisco's. Keep in mind they don't have non alcoholic wine but if you bring your own bottle there a small uncorking fee. They have a killer nonalcoholic margarita..... the sour mix makes a difference! Let's get to the meat they have all the elevated cuts and all cooked to your desire perfections. With the ability to customize with select seasonings and butter. We're simple like the salt, pepper, and garlic butter but you can go as far as blackening your cut! They also have a cauliflower steak for those of you that think vegans shouldn't go to steakhouses. It's descent. There's a numbers on the tongue while eating that opens up the pallet bit (I want to say it's Szechuan). It was heavy aldente and I highly recommend if your a cheat-gan than definitely just go for the meat. Sides are all family style which I love! It offers conversation and you can see if your amongst giver or takers especially with the potato's. All in all it's if your a steak lover Del Frisco's is definitely worth at least one visit!

Yelp
To celebrate a birthday we decided on one of our favorite restaurants. As usual the ambience is always wonderful although today when we arrived a couple of hours after the restaurant opened it was very slow. We drove up to about 4 cars in the parking lot and wondered if we should go across the street where things were hoping but did not want to cancel as clearly they needed the business. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu items. We ordered the Shrimp appetizer, Ribeye steak, lamb chops, mushrooms side and potatoes au gratin. When we got our appetizer it was the calamari instead if shrimp but was still absolutely delicious. I think while we discussed both calamari and shrimp, and asked for the latter, the server must have gotten confused, we did not say anything, its all good :) The Ribeye was cooked properly at medium temperature and so juicy. The three mushrooms side was very tasty as well. Potatoes au gratin was good but kind of heavy on the salt for some reason this time. The bread was salty as well. But flicking off the top of the loaves helped remove the thick salt. Lamb chops were mouth watering and cooked to perfection. Overall everything was good, the server was a bit too fast and rushed in telling us the specials so our relaxed and super calm mood on a Sunday during Easter Brunch did not quite match the ambiance. They restaurant was quite slow and probably around 10 tables during our meal. I would suggest for a fine restaurant as such to SLOW down the pace in this part. We typically get a complimentary birthday dessert for our guest but i believe this time they forgot. We did tell the server at the start what we we're celebrating and the desert menus were brought to everyone except the birthday guest so it was assumed that a surprise was coming :) Its okay that they forgot, just a little damper thats all.

Yelp
My friends and I dined at Del Friscos for our monthly book club meet up. McKenzie was our waitress and she was very attentive to our needs and ensured we were pleased with our meal options. She is definitely an asset to the establishment.

Yelp
The food was great. Really delicious. Fair warning, the steak has a lot of pepper on it. The starters, which are all shareable, were pretty amazing, except for maybe the truffle fries. Besides truffle butter, they weren't that special. I'd recommend the blue cheese wedge salad and twice baked potato. Any steak will be great. The bill for a group of 5, before tip came to $740. For the price, the service could have been way better. I would call it atrocious. I'm sure our waiter was having an off night but the food was all mixed up when arriving. Including wrong placements, wrong toppings, and sauces on steaks, which they charged us for, something that should have been comped or fixed. Plus, they were not very attentive. The table next to us even brought over the manager due to lack of service. Just really laughable prices for the mediocrity of service. Our bill was about $40 more than it should have been due to mistakes. Soda water was $5 by the way. Something else that doesn't make any sense: Irish coffee: $6.50. Single shot of espresso? $7. Make it make sense. I'd recommend trying a different steakhouse if you want a great experience with your great steak.
