Del Frisco's Grille

I’ve been to Del Frisco’s twice and have even recommended it to others! Last night was a disappointment. Our waitress Valerie was excellent and the hostesses were kind and welcoming. The food however was subpar. I absolutely love Caesar salads, but this one lacked taste and the lettuce was bitter. The mahi that I ordered was very salty, yet still lacked “flavor”. The mango salsa that came with it wasn’t too bad. The roasted chicken is a safe choice, as you usually can’t go wrong with chicken. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and was very flavorful. Probably won’t be returning to this location.

Literally I have nothing but praise to give. From the moment I walked in the door till leaving. The entire staff was amazing the food was amazing. Having an experience like this is when I love to write a review and share because everyone dining out should be able to experience this. 100/10 recommend coming here!

We had such a great experience at this restaurant last night! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, from the perfectly cooked steak and fall-off-the-bone ribs to the flavorful cheesesteak eggrolls. The bread pudding dessert was the perfect sweet ending!! A big shoutout to our server, Esteban, who was amazingly attentive, friendly, and made our night even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Thanks for your hospitality..I hate the delfrisco went out of business in downtown chicago I wish you guys would consider coming back into the market, maybe oakbrook Illinois could work.. anyway keep doing what your doing and even if you decide to not reenter into the chicago market I’ll be back wherever you are the food was delicious as it always is

Went here for a early farthers day brunch. The food was good, they have a cool french dip egg sandwich that was pretty unique. Otherwise the menu was ok. We shared a french toast that was very tasty. Besides the french dip sandwich, the rest of the menu was ok, but limited and your typical breakfast fare. The potatoes didn't look look like they were homemade, they looked store bought. To be fair, this restaurant is more of a lunch/ dinner steak house and then dinner menu wasich larger and seemed to be really where the focus of the restaurant is. Breakfast wasn't bad, it was actually good. It's just wasn't anything that really wowed me. I'd be willing to go back and try dinner there to really get a better feel for the place.

Our server was amazing she was super attentive and sweet. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. I came here to celebrate my friends birthday and they gave us a cute little cheesecake on the house. Their NY strip was flavorful and juicy. Their brussel sprouts were different than I usually have them but I liked them a lot.

I came here for a networking event that was in a private room. The service was excellent, before I went into the room the waiter asked me if I wanted something to drink, besides the wine they were serving in the room. He brought me a glass of prosecco. They had a nice assortment of food for us, cheese flatbreads, vegan burgers, hamburger sliders, asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, and my favorite gluten-free pizza (which was labeled). The atmosphere always has a happy buz to it.

I have been wanting to eat here for a while. Not sure what took me so long to get here. I met my friend here and we decided to do Happy Hour. I ordered a Margarita and was not impressed. I knew there was a red flag when I sasaw the Marg was pre-mixed! This was happy hour pricing, but this is an upscale restaurant. Come on, please mix a drink when it is ordered. The drink was super sour and I actually love sour, but this was too much, even for me. I am not a fan of cheesesteak but I looked at the reviews and had to try these. They were very tasty. However, I did not love the two sauces on them. They were kind of sweet...or something that threw off the taste. If I come back, I will ask for no sauce. My friend got the sticky ribs. I did not try this but she wasn't thrilled with it. She said they were lacking flavor. We shared the tuna tacos. The tuna is high quality. I asked the bartender for lime go give it a kick. They put a little too much sauce on this but it is a solid appetizer. We each ordered a burger and fry. I knew I would bring some home. This burger is pretty tasty. The fries are good. It does remind me of an In N Out burger. Service was good. The bartender said the wings are really good so I might try those in the future.

I'm a big fan of a great steak, so I was excited to finally try del Frisco's. We dined there on New Year's Eve, and honestly, we were fortunate to snag a reservation on short notice for a prime time, given the size of our party. The service was friendly but a little slow, which is understandable on such a busy night. I had to ask a few times to get my water refilled, but that's something I'd expect on New Year's Eve. I'd definitely be curious to see how the service is on a regular night. For the food, I went with the NY Strip. It was a gorgeous cut and cooked well. While I've had better steaks, it was still enjoyable. The truffle mac and cheese, though, was a standout--it's a must-order side. Unfortunately, they were out of Brussels sprouts, so I'll have to try that next time. As for the drinks, they were a bit inconsistent. A few people in our group noticed that their second round of drinks tasted and looked quite different from the first. I'd recommend the bartenders align on recipes to avoid that. All things considered, these are small tweaks that could elevate the experience. I'm looking forward to returning on a quieter night or during happy hour to see how things play out.

Came here early on a Sunday and sat outside. Overall we had a nice time. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and decent size shrimp. They told us they get in fresh everyday. Then had the salmon and braised short rib. The salmon was great and not too heavy. My partner said the short rib was good, but a little dry. Our server Jackie was great! Super friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Would come back here again!

A complete fail for steakhouse. Medium rare filet and I had to return it three times and then gave up. This is a Las Olas trap in my opinion. Go somewhere for a good steak!

The food is not good at all!! Well maybe not all the food but that steak salad needs to be put in the trash!! My salad was soggy !! It was smothered in blue cheese and the dressing was not it !! I feel like that steak salad needs to be reinvented ditch those nasty blue cheese crumbles get fresh lettuce maybe add some charred corn and charred tomatoes with a citrus vinaigrette!! That old fashioned smothered in blue cheese is gross ! Oh and the soda machines ... I don't drink alcohol but I couldn't even get a fresh ginger ale. They rave about these eggrolls and let's just say they are sooooooo salty !! This food quality is equivalent to Fridays except it has a hefty price tag . I don't even want to give this a star because they really need a menu makeover

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant for the first time, and I was beyond impressed! A good friend invited me to celebrate my birthday here this past Monday, and everything, from the food to the atmosphere was perfect. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted at the hostess stand, from there you can see the stunning views and design of the restaurant, including a gorgeous wine display right at the entrance. The ambiance is perfect, dim lighting sets a cozy, intimate mood, perfect for a date night or special occasion. We were quickly seated, and our server introduced herself with a short rundown of the wine list and some of the menu's popular items. We took a few moments to decide, and in the meantime, she brought us refreshing bottles of sparkling water along with some warm, melt-in-your-mouth bread served with a rich, flavorful butter. For my main, I opted for the prime NY strip steak frites, which was cooked to perfection and topped with a delicious chimichurri sauce. My friend went with the classic prime NY strip, and both dishes were absolutely great, honestly, one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The service was excellent; our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal without hovering. After dinner, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary slice of cheesecake, which was very delicious. Everything about this restaurant exceeded expectations. It's clean, quiet, and the smooth jazz playing in the background adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Even the restrooms were impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. I honestly have no complaints, and if you enjoy a fine dining experience in a comfortable, elegant setting, this place is an absolute must-try. I will definitely be back soon! Oh!! We also had a few glasses of Malbec which you can never go wrong with!

Nathan was our server during our visit. Food was delicious and service was nothing short of amazing. Perfect spot for a date night. I plan to revisit. Each item tried was delicious. The egg roll and crab cake is a must try !!!

Decided to take myself out for a pre birthday celebration. First let's address service- I was concerned until the amazing Fakuno (sp) and Anthony greeted me. Fakuno could see.i hadn't been greeted and came right over to get me a menu and help explain his favorites. So helpful and kind!!! Then i was greeted by Marlon who made a yummy cocktail for me and apologized for it being so busy. Thank you, Marlon! Then I was greeted by the amazing Anthony and knew with this trio my experience was going to be perfection from that point on. Great personalities;; great knowledge of the menu and great awareness of customers at the bar. The ambiance was just right- classy with a modern vibe. Then we come to the food. I was between the short rib and their steak salad. I ended up getting the steak salad that was so delicious I got another to take home for lunch the next day. But one of the patrons next to me got the short rib that smelled and looked like absolute perfection. The patron next to me shared that it was delicious. So I will definitely be back to try that as well. Overall impressed with this franchise that seriously didn't feel like a franchise. The service gave it that warm neighborhood touch that will keep locals coming back. I have ordered to go from here trying out other dishes previous to having dinner here the first time. I will say the food whether you get it to go or to eat in, always meets a standard of excellence. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Anthony, Fakuno(sp), and Marlon- thank you for being amazing at what you do! I will be back and bring my business associates who I know will love this place as much as I do! Definitely one of the best new spots on las olas!

This is a high-end restaurant with a delicious course menu to choose from. I tried their salmon, which was just right. I enjoyed that there were different sauce types to try it in. They have diverse appetizers, and their mac n cheese side is really good to snack on. Their dessert, the chocolate torte, was OK. A little dry for me. But overall, food was good, and the service was very friendly and helpful.

Delicious rib eye, cooked perfectly. Lovely atmosphere along with a delightful waitress to me spells a win.

Always a solid dinner option. Had the shaved steak sandwich and it didn't disappoint. Buffalo wing for an appetizer for cooked very well, and seasoned. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hockey game was on so a bit noisy for a Thursday but made for a good atmosphere.

We recently had a business dinner at Del Frisco's Grill on Las Olas in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Florida. This place definitely sets the standard, or at least what the standard should be, if you appreciate quality. The wait staff are all professionally trained in the art of fine dining. From the moment you walk through the door until you leave, you'll be treated like a very special guest. The food offered is top quality as well, I've never had a bad meal here, because they really do aim to please. If you're interested in dining at a restaurant that is several "cuts above the average" check out Del Frisco's!

I went for a lunch date today and had a very nice meal. It was raining outside, so parking in the garage was very convenient for not getting wet while walking into the restaurant. It was very bistro pretty inside and not crowded at all. We made a reservation but did not need it. The bar was empty, as well as most of the booths and standard tables. I imagine that it gets more crowded at dinner and happy hour, which starts at 3 pm daily. Our server suggested a glass of wine, but we opted for iced tea and a bottle of sparkling water. The Tuna taco appetizer was delicious but a very small, sharable portion. Four very much bite-sized mini crunchy tacos served cold. I then ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was a very generous portion. There were plenty of fresh avocado and hard-boiled eggs surrounded by chopped tomatoes and crisp, thick cut bacon. I didn't need any other proteins added, but I did have a choice of adding on steak, chicken, and shrimp. My husband ordered the mahi mahi with black forbidden rice. Our server even told us a quick informative story about how black rice became forbidden. His plate was scraped clean as he really liked how the flavors went well together. We skipped dessert because he needed to get back to work, but there is always a next time.

I visited Del Frisco's for dinner while on vacation. It was easy to be seated and the ambiance was beautiful. Our server, who was very bubbly, made great recommendations for the food and drinks. The sangria was so refreshing, and the NY Strip steak was one of the best I've ever had - juicy and cooked to perfection. I also appreciated that the management checked in to ensure our visit was great. Overall, it was a beautiful restaurant with wonderful service and food - 10/10!

Four of us made a 7 PM reservation for dinner. When we arrived, we were set down immediately and were given a choice of table location at the restaurant. Our waitress Leah was amazing and very friendly. We ordered a few appetizers and two dirty martinis that were made very well. We ordered a flatbread with prosciutto and fig and the egg rolls. We also ordered a wedge salad and some onion rings to share with dinner. We ordered two of the 16 ounce prime ribeye that were perfectly cooked at a medium rare temperature. As the evening went on the place filled up, The food and the service was amazing, we will be coming back.

I went on a date here. I loved it! There is a great ambiance when you walk in. We sat inside. The server was very attentive. She was also friendly. I think it was the manager but someone checked on us after our food was delivered to see if it was good. I had the mahi mahi and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly. It was also pretty clean inside and quiet. They brought us bread as well and it was pretzel bread. Never had that before but wow, it was warm and tasty. This place is top notch and highly recommend!

Great happy hour. The drinks are good the bartenders could step their game up. The burger is pretty good. This place is better for lunch or snacks I don't recommend coming here for a steak dinner. The quality of meat wasn't great and it was not prepared correctly 2 of 3 steaks were all ordered the same temperature and each person got a different temperature. If you want a delicious steak I recommend Eddie V's or Flemings.

Extremely disappointed. I have had better at Burger King. I ordered the short rib, it was so dry, the dirty has more juice. My nephew order a shaved steak sandwich, got so tired from chewing the steak his jaw hurt. Service was ok, nothing to write home about. Bottom line for me, overpriced for less than avg food.

I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. The drinks were very good as well. Restaurant is beautiful all around. Me and my guest were seated very quickly and were greeted very nicely by our waiter. Our food came out quickly and was so yummy. The sticky ribs were my absolute favorite. This location is on las Olas but finding parking wasn't too bad and not too far from restaurant. I will definitely be back soon.

I've always passed by and never tried them out. Their menu is definitely scaled to fine dining and shows high prices. I saw that they were participating in Ft. Lauderdale Dine Out so I decided to give them a try. For 3 courses, you pay $55 if you don't add anything in addition. Pretty great deal for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. First impression walking in, wow! High ceilings, open kitchen, beautiful interior, and secluded dining booths. An amazing date night vibe. We got here later than we anticipated because we had to lookout for parking. The restaurant didn't mind that we were a tad bit late and our server was very attentive. Exceptional service from beginning to the end. We tried out the cheesesteak eggrolls and the deviled eggs to start. I thought I would like the deviled eggs better but I have to say the cheesesteak eggrolls took the spotlight. They were perfectly fried, packed in a lot of flavor, and had a sweet chili dipping sauce to go with it. The deviled eggs were good but pretty firm and seemed like it was made earlier on in the day and refrigerated. Still tasty. For our entrees, we ordered a filet mignon cut and added lobster tails. The lobster tail on the menu indicated it was 4 ounces for $23. It was cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was also cooked to our liking and had great taste. I tried the recommended truffle butter accompaniment for $8 and it was good. I wouldn't say it was a necessity to my meal. Then for our dessert, we tried the peanut butter bar and caramel pot de creme. Loved both! Presentation and taste was on point.

Quality was very high... Excellent steaks... We were both very impressed. Drinks were pretty and also strong. Servers were very attentive.

This place is right on the strip and really nice inside with beautiful light fixtures and high ceilings. Around the corner and across the street there are lots of garages, valet, and street parking (nothing for free though) I came in with my parents and sister, we had a reservation and were sat very quickly. our server George was super attentive and friendly, he was the best part of the night. I really wanted to leave this place at 5 star review because my dad usually loves coming here, and even though the service and the steaks themselves were top-notch tonight, overall we were unhappy. We skipped appetizers and my dad had a house salad which they brought out with almost no dressing (usually restaurants put way too much so this is a first), but that wasn't a big issue. The steaks and sides were delicious. Of the 3, We ordered one filet mignon 8oz medium rare (Oscar style) and another 12oz filet mignon medium. The steaks came out with swapped temperature cookings. We couldn't just swap steaks, but even that wasn't really the biggest issue. We also added two lobster tails that were really just not good. They were overcooked and stuck to the inside of the shell, making it impossible to pull out and then really dry on top of it. When the manager came over to ask if everything was ok, as they often do throughout the night, my dad was still struggling with the lobster tail and told him that it was difficult to get it out of the shell and a bit unacceptable, and the manager asked him if he wanted him to help him out with it...(?) -- didn't offer to replace it, remove one from the bill, nada. At $25 for each tail it was disappointing. Also, it was booked for my dads birthday and when we were greeted, the host knew this and wished him happy birthday but nobody i guess told George because he brought out the bill (no mention of lobster tails) and never any little dessert or mention of the birthday which we know they would usually do. Luckily after we paid and were finishing our drinks my dad went to the bathroom & we saw the opportunity & told George about it, he had no idea & brought out a nice piece of cheesecake on the house. Thank you for that !

Whats not to like about the grille unless you get bad service and your order comes out completely messed up. Luckily for me neither of these occurred and my lunch was delightful and pleasant. So much so I spent 4 hours in here. My burger was delicious and even though i ordered a salad for my side they mistakingly gave me fries which was no problem because now I had best of both worlds. :) I ate my lunch in the bar ares and then ventured to the patio on the back for afternoon smoke. Majority of the staff is very delightful and pleasant. Also another plus is the DJ they bring in on Thursday. He played a variety of great tunes. Can't wait until I am back in the area to visit again.

Valentine Day disaster. Party of six. Two stars for the poor service, and I am not blaming the server, I am blaming management due to our server having way too many tables to keep up. Every time we looked for her, she was at a different table. I also believe that she had a large party in a private room. After our initial greeting, we had to track her down for everything, bread, ordering food, drink refills and desert. Several times after looking for drink refills, another worker stepped up and got out drinks only to bring the wrong drinks. The food was good. The bread was fresh and tasty. The deviled eggs were very good. The salads were good. The butternut squash soup had a great taste, but had a consistency of mashed potatoes, not soup. The steaks were good, my was overcooked to my liking. The sides, brussel sprouts were good, but the truffle macaroni and cheese was outstanding. The chocolate tort was fair. After tracking her down to get our bill, we paid and then she said that there was an error and we owed more, but was not sure for what. From there the manager took over and after a few more minutes, he found another error so we owed more money. This was my second bad experience with this restaurant brand. I will never return.

We were so excited to see a Del Frisco's but so disappointed with much of it. The restaurant and bar are pretty and modern but it's very loud. It didn't bother us but if you're looking to have a convo with someone across the table, just know it's loud. The cocktails - well mannered dirty vodka martini and a hazelnut espresso martini were delicious. Let's talk about the food. The deviled eggs were good. The prosciutto & fig flatbread was horrible. The dressing on the arugula was so tart it was difficult to eat and good luck finding any fig. Also, it was so over baked the cook attempted to cover the hard black crust by soaking it in dressing. It was disgusting. Absolutely unacceptable. My husband and I shared a filet Mignon ordered medium with a loaded baked potato. The steak was very underdone, medium-rare bordering rare. The potato condiments were scarce at best! Quite ridiculous as they're condiments for God's sake! Our daughter had the steak frites ordered medium as well. Her steak came overdone and the fries were cold. For the prices, they certainly should be doing better. Had it been one dish that was not done correctly I'd give them a pass but all of the dishes, except for the deviled eggs, were horrible. The waitress was very nice. She was friendly and talkative. With that said, the appetizer dishes were not cleared so we put them in a stack. When the main course was served, the food runner just left the stack on the table. Certainly not the quality of food and service one would expect from this type of establishment. We will not be going back. I would say if you just want to go for drinks, you'll be ok. BUT if you're looking for quality food, you should skip this establishment. I gave 2 stars because the cocktails were good and the waitress was friendly.

The Perfect NY Strip! I booked a reservation for my dad's birthday and it was such a great pick. My steak was flavorful and charred to perfection. My rosé sangria was so good. It was so refreshing and fruity. I was not a huge fan of the appetizers but I did enjoy the Mac and Cheese. There is a parking garage directly behind the restaurant so it's nice to have a designated place to park.

Wonderful experience again! Aleano, our server, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. The Del Frisco's in a Fort Lauderdale is bright and elegant. We had the cheese and steak rolls for an appetizer (we always do) really the best! I had the Caesar Salad with lobster (superb) and my husband had the 10 oz filet ( which he said was the best he had ever had!) with the mashed potatoes ( truly scrumptious). They gave my husband a piece of cheesecake with a candle for dessert... such a lively touch. We will certainly go back because it is somewhat difficult to find a local restaurant that has high standards and is consistent. We will be back.

Overall the food was ok but don't order the pretzel breadsticks. Even though they are complimentary if you have high blood pressure they are very, very, very SALTY!!!!!!!!! ‍

What a wonderful evening at Del Frisco's! Arriving at the hostess desk and greeted with smiles!!! The next person was Brian Hepler, Manager. What a great addition to Del Frisco's, smiles and hugs from a good friend. Now to our server George.... WOW!! He offered us great suggestions and what an amazing and professional person. We had a blast with George he made our night even more amazing and memorable! Those CheeseSteak Egg-rolls. If you do not have any other appetizers try those! My Salmon was prepared as I asked crispy skin and seasoned. My dinner partners had a beautiful Bone-in Ribeye perfection again! Truffled Mac & Cheese. My only critique would be a tad bit of salt. We also had Deviled Eggs not my Deviled Eggs but they were good. I will be back!!! Thank you to the entire team! Look out for the desserts!!

My family ended up here because another restaurant we had plans to go fell through. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The inside was very cute with warm modern decor. The server was great and tried to make my sisters birthday dinner a success. I think there was some communication mishaps but they were quickly remedied. Everyone thought their drinks were good and the food was also tasty just took awhile to get items to our table even though it was not busy. However, the service was above average for majority of the dining experience and we would come back to visit in the future.

This is the saddest $60 steak I've ever seen. The $60 filet mignon came unplated. No presentation, garnish or anything. Just a steak and the plate. I ordered the steak medium rare, but most of the steak was rare. The truffle Mac and Cheese was great, but the French fries were cold. Overall, Del Frisco is overpriced for what I got. I would recommend going to Moxies or Timpano or IT Italy.

Food was tasty . Service was good also . The interior is really done up . Entry way is kinda cool .

Redemption! After a miserable experience here a few months back, I was welcomed back so the restaurant could make it right and reintroduce itself as the grille it claimed to be. Whitney, the manager, was super friendly and appreciative I returned and made sure everything went smoothly. Starting with the exact booth I requested and one of their most attentive servers, Savas. Mushroom flatbread was delicious not skimping on the shrooms. My steak was a perfect medium rare, and my friend's was a tad under as per her liking, but it was remedied very quickly this time! Brussels and loaded baked potato were great sides. I'm really happy the restaurant redeemed itself and it was a really enjoyable night.

Extremely Satisfied of this place. I have been to this place multiple times, and it never disappoints. The service is top notch and so was the food. I would recommend visiting on a weekday and you can enjoy the meal with a nice atmosphere.

My favorite thing about this place is the egg rolls. They are so good. Parking can be a bit far but it's worth it the steak is really good too. You will definitely spend quite a bit here but worth it

My husband and I went to Del Frisco's on Las Olas for Easter Dinner. The food was great, I had the ham dinner and my husband had the 12oz filet. Really exceptional food. The ambiance was light and bright very upbeat. Our server, John, was exceptional. He was certainly a seasoned server, he really made our dinner very special. The manager, Daniel, stopped by a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, an excellent experience!

Absolutely fantastic service from George. Attentive, not overbearing, quick, engaging with my children and had great recommendations. The food was awesome! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great location, easy parking. Thank you again, George!

I come here quiet often and the food is always fresh and enjoyable depending on the day of the week they get pretty busy and sometimes the service isn't the best but the waiters make due and try their best to service you even when they have a lot of tables and are dealing with high volume it's a great restaurant to go to with family or friends.

Sadly like the miserable valentines evening dinner we attempted......you send me a link that doesn't work!! I'll stay away from ALL laundry's concepts! Just don't go to this place! TYPICAL landrys concept of over priced food and subpar quality of the food. We won't ever step foot in a laundry's owned chain ever again! ESPECIALLY this del frescos! Don't go!! Save your money y and go across the street to Flemmings steakhouse! THEY do u right!

Meh. It does the job. Del Friscos is the corporate go to place. When I worked downtown, my office loved going here for work lunches. The service was always too slow for us especially because we had to get back to work, but what should I have expected? The food and ambience are definitely trying to compete with a fancy steakhouse, but definitely miss the mark. I think the food is good, but it's not anything to write home about. I honestly cannot remember a single dish that I've ordered from here and I definitely went there multiple times. I think that kind of speaks for itself. If you are a tourist visiting the area, I would not waste my time here because there are more unique places to eat at on Las Olas. However, if you want typical "upscale" American cuisine and do not want to be surprised, then this is your place to go. Again decent food that is kind of pricey. But good thing we always put it on the company card lol.

I had an amazing experience at Del Friscos. My first time and both the food and service was top notch. I am a Landry's member so I enjoy the restaurants under Landry's like Morton's also.
