Del Frisco’s in Louisville is an exceptional dining experience. The interior is stunning—dim, intimate lighting with rich, warm tones that feel like a sophisticated bourbon lounge. It’s the perfect setting for great conversation with friends while enjoying a premium meal. The food is absolutely fantastic. Their steaks are top-quality, perfectly cooked, and worth every penny—around $75–$80 for a premium cut, which is reasonable for what you get. The service is attentive without being intrusive, making the evening feel both luxurious and relaxed. The drinks deserve a special mention as well. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the bottle of wine we had complemented the meal beautifully. Overall, Del Frisco’s combines outstanding food, superb drinks, and an elegant, intimate atmosphere—truly a high-end dining experience worth visiting.

Everything was very good. Steaks were cooked to order. Swordfish was a little overdone, but still very flavorful. Desserts were good. Escargot was good and I loved having all of the garlic. Our server was able to find a nice wine for my niece when she explained what she liked. ♥️ I would have liked to see additional explanations on portion size of the sides (I did ask and was glad because the sides were for sharing). We wouldn't have been able to have more than one. It was our first experience there and the first true steakhouse experience for my niece. I was hoping for a "wow" for her. She had a very good experience overall and was happy when we left.

We had such an amazing dinner here for my niece's birthday. The service from all of the staff was great, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was very nice. The dirty martini was probably the best I've had in the city. Our waiter Wade was super cool and attentive. We can't wait to return!

The food was delicious. I had the New York Strip 16-18 ounce and that boy was everything but. My lady had the Salmon which was good at well. A bit pricey, but what do you expect from a fine dining establishment??

Among all the fine dining establishments in Louisville that I have visited, Del Frisco stands out as the finest. The steak literally melted in my mouth, and the iced tea was the best I have ever tasted. The service was prompt and attentive. I will continue to patronize this restaurant whenever I desire a quality steak.

I recently dined here and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance and service were impeccable, deserving of 5 stars. Our server was attentive and made the evening special. The food was delicious and well-prepared, earning a solid 4 stars. The food could have been prepared better but over all good experience

A large group of us gave Del Frisco's a try for a double birthday dinner, and no one left disappointed or hungry! Service was good and friendly, but sometimes a little slow to check in on us (which we didn't mind too much as we were in no hurry). The food was definitely the star of the visit. Amongst the table, we had several different menu options, from soups to salads and oysters to many different types of steaks. All were prepared perfectly and so flavorful. Several of us complimented our dinners with different sides, and not a one was a bad choice. Expect to pay a little more than a run of the mill steakhouse, but the food is definitely worth it. If going on a date, the dinner for two looked like an amazing choice just by itself, or add a salad. For a single entree, any steak is a good choice (several had the filet trio and loved it), but the Filet tips with duchess potatoes looked like a great bang for your buck and were absolutely amazing. One last tip, the French Onion soup here had to be one of my top 3 "Best Ever!"

I visited Del Frisco's to celebrate my birthday and was really looking forward to the experience. The service was truly excellent. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of the entire time. I ordered the ribeye steak, which was just okay. But not quite as flavorful or memorable as I had hoped. My friend ordered the fried shrimp and unfortunately as shrimp lovers, we weren't fans of that dish at all. The Caesar salad dressing is made in-house, which I usually appreciate, but it had a very oily taste and didn't quite hit the mark for anyone at our table. On a brighter note, the strawberry lemon drop cocktail was really good! All in all everyone at my table felt the same: The service and drinks were great, but the food could use some improvement.

I love this place! Everything is so fresh! The salads are huge, and I highly recommend the black bean soup and the clam chowder! They taste homemade! I always get the filet, and it has always been cooked to my liking. The seasonings they put on their steaks is so good and unique too! The broccoli and potato au gratin is so yummy and cheesy! However, be aware that their sides are meant to share or to take home for leftovers! The deserts are out of this world! My family always chooses a couple to share as we can't pick just one! The creme brûlée, the chocolate cake, the cheesecake, and the pie. The service is also always phenomenal as they are very accommodating and helpful! Del Frisco's is definitely my favorite local steakhouse, and I highly recommend it for special evenings.

We have been to multiple times ti Del Frisco's (DF) in Philadelphia and it was spectacular. So sad that this Louisville location can't compare. The meal tasted just better than a cafeteria. We happened to have eaten ate at Capitol Grille (GH) the night prior and Del Frisco's was such a let down. We thought it would be at par or better. The bread was old and stale and seemed straight off a grocery store shelves vs fresh. The difference of the CG lobster bisque to the DF version was night and day. Del Frisco's bisque is imitation lobster at best - seems unethical to claim it as lobster. The bisque was better but ruined by the lack of actual lobster. The New York steak was the best of the options our party was served. Del Frisco's Trio and the Filet Mignon 8-10oz werr so smothered in butter you couldn't taste the flavor of the meat. The steak knives were delivered after the meal arrived and all just seemed rushed and dumped vs served. Had to ask for knives, fresh ground pepper, etc. The wine list was adequate and the Strawberry Lemongrass Cosmo tasted like watered down cough syrup, so had to let that sit. Caesar Salad tasted like all oil vs anything else. Creme Brulee had nice berries on it, not much flavor otherwise and crust was too think. Ambiance was non existent when you are seated in the back corner of the back room even with a reservation. Doesn't live up to the price point paid at almost $150/person. Potatoes Au Gratin, good. Nothing was really worth a photo. Staff was nice enough.

The food was ok, don't get the oysters... they are large and not on a shell, so really hard to eat. The crab cakes were really great. The service wasn't great, but we were there a day after the derby.... They gave us a free dessert to make up for it, so points for that. The atmosphere was nice - a typical low light steakhouse. We went back for a second night since our hotel was close.... And it was amazing. Great food, service, everything!!

The service was on point, waiter was polite and friendly. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the Lobster Bisque, it was served with imitation crab meat. It was spicy and tasted like something I would get a Costco. I really enjoy bisque and get it almost everytime I'm at a restaurant, I was hoping for something closer to what Ruby's serves. The Tournedos was very tasty, the filet were all good cuts off beef. The potatoes were fluffy and the burgundy sauce was delicious. I'd like to give Del Frisco's another shot and try other menu items.

Del fresco's what else can I say but always amazing. I've never been disappointed at Del Frisco's and the new location. I finally got to enjoy. I tried to go there two years ago on my birthday, but my boyfriend forgot to get a reservation so he made us salmon and it was horrible but anyway, I love Del Frisco's and now that I'm in Hurstbourne I'll probably be up a couple times a week. Thank you so much for always being The amazing wonderful restaurant that I remember from St Matthews.

Drinks, food, and service were great. We were 20 minutes late due to baby sitter but they held our table and our friends just hung out at the bar. Then food was awesome.

Del frisco's is a high end and very nice steak house in the east end community of louisville Kentucky. My wife birthday was last week and me and her made it a goal a year or so ago that on our birthdays and special occasions we was going to try a new fancy reputable steakhouse in our area. So del friscos was up next on our list. We weee able to call early in the morning and get a same day reservation right at 5pm opening. The interior is very intimate with very low lighting and modern decor. We started off with a calamari appetizer. While waiting for our app they offer up there complimentary bread which is phenomenal. Very fresh and great flavor. I'd say top 5 Dinner roll/bread I've had before. The calamari came out and it had a nice flavor. Very crispy and the marinara was a classic taste. A lot of places overthink calamari sauce when sometimes old fashioned marinara does the trick. For our entrees I got the ribeye and my wife got the New York strip. Both steaks came out cooked the way ordered. Which is always a plus. My ribeye was very tender and had a nice flavor. The topping had like a garlic buttery sauce on top which was a unique twist for a ribeye. My wife new York strip she said was phenomenal. I tried a bite and she was right. Very tender with a nice crisp. I actually enjoyed it more than my ribeye and I'm usually always a ribeye person. Our our service was top notch. My wife received a complimentary birthday cake which was a good size and easily fed us both. Very nice free birthday treat. I did get an after dinner cocktail callers grasshopper which is a mint chocolate alcoholic drink. For those who love mint chocolate (guilty) this is a great drink. Was very satisfied with it. Overall a very good and enjoyable birthday dinner. Good service, great bread, good calamari, very good steaks and some tasty treats. That's how you celebrate a birthday if you ask me.

Enjoyed a special date night at Del Frisco's. Smooth piano tunes in the background, beautiful orb lights creating a starry night sky' atmosphere and warm wood panels making it cozy. All that plus steak tornadoes-filet chunks in a burgundy gravy and piped with cheesy mashed potatoes. Their green phunque-creamy spinach with cheesy bread crumbs is delicious. For dessert, carrot cake. Interesting spices made it closer to a spice cake and the whipped cream made it closer to heaven! Dorian our waiter was attentive and friendly. Life's short. Go on dates. Eat great food!

This is my favorite place for happy hour in Louisville. It starts at 4 PM so it's a nice early happy hour and then all of their appetizers are half price. They also have drink specials so it is a win-win! I really love the bar area they have some big TVs as well as tables or you can just sit right at the bar. It's very cozy with good lighting and feels upscale... But you don't really have to be super dressed up to hang out in the bar. I would have to say my favorite appetizer is the calamari. I feel like it's the best in the city because I've tried a lot of calamari. The rings are very thick and the batter is very light, and the portion is very generous. It is really delicious! When we went last time, I took a friend and they really enjoyed it and we just ate like kings! This is also a great place to just have a nice fancy dinner or go on a date, but you do have the option to just hang out in the bar for happy hour which I really appreciate! The service here is always top notch and they make really good cocktails. Highly recommend.

This place was really good. The server was helpful, kind and friendly. The bread was fresh with a side of whipped butter. The filet was perfect. We asked for butter on the side since some other reviews showed it swimming in butter. The mushrooms and asparagus were done well with good flavor. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating.

This was my first time dining at Del Frisco's. As a life-long resident of Louisville, I've always been well aware of DF's reputation in the steakhouse community here. It's a staple in the restaurant scene and has a loyal following. I was disappointed. I do not like restaurants that are so dark that you need to use the flashlight on your phone to see the menu. I also don't like being unable to see food clearly. Plating is part of presentation and if there's a bug or a hair on the plate, I want to know. Bar doesn't stock Finlandia but Absolut was fine for my martini. The yeast bread was baked in house and delicious, even slightly warm still at 6:30. The menu did not advise that there are half-portion size options for salads. Thankfully the server told us. We received great table service from Wade. The runner who delivered our plates was courteous and efficient. Caesar dressing tasted great, made, I think in house. For entree, I ordered Beef Tournedos. I was a bit surprised when asked how I wanted the beef tips cooked, because I didn't think there was a way to cook them like a whole cut, but I ordered them medium rare. They came out well done, not one piece even slightly pink in the center (used cell phone flashlight to see). The potatoes duchess were prepared incorrectly. The were piped (star tip bag) well, but the potatoes weren't baked off to create a very slight, thin crust. They were just mashed potatoes plated creatively. The potatoes were suspicious for being instant flake. Dessert was great - Brandy Alexander, not seen on menus very often any more. Might go back. Might try Jeff Ruby's next time I want a steak dinner of this caliber.

The filet was good, as were the au gratin potatoes and broccoli. The service was great. I do recommend sitting in the dining area instead of the bar area. Overall it was good, would go back.

Unfortunately the current service is not up to the old Del Frisco's standards. Nor does the bar know how to make an aperol spritz.

To celebrate a big win professionally, my husband treated me to a family dinner at Del Frisco's. We had reservations for 4 on Friday evening and were seated right away upon arrival. From beginning to end the service was stellar. It's clear the employees work as a team and strive to provide an incredible dining experience. Atmosphere-wise, Del Frisco's - even with a move to a new location - feels old school, but not in an upscale "classic" way. Instead it reminded me of the downtown hotels before their renovation. It's dimly lit with dark wooden decor and minimal decor. We were tucked into the back of the restaurant where I looked at a wall for the evening. Very boring and I found myself wishing we'd picked another steakhouse for atmosphere alone. The meal was enjoyable; however, the only thing we've all talked about since the dinner was the complimentary bread. We ate a lot of that! Three of us got tossed salads and while the portion was plentiful, each of us had browning lettuce mixed in the bowl. Of the 4 sides we enjoyed the onion rings but left the steak fries, asparagus and broccoli au gratin sitting. The broccoli was extremely peppery and none of us would eat more than the first bite. Each of us got different cuts of steaks. My choice was the filet mignon medallions which came with a choice of 3 add on butters. I ordered it medium well which was still fairly pink and made me thankful I didn't request medium. Each medallion was 4 Oz and very soft texture-wise. All of our plates were very hot and the steaks were sitting it a large amount of butter/oil. After awhile that became unappetizing. If ordering again I'd choose a thicker cut of steak to combat the ratio of butter to meat. Overwhelming. We ended with a slice of NY cheesecake because my kids hadn't eaten it before. Decent portion. Overall we enjoyed our time as a family (about a 2 hr meal), but I think it's safe to say we weren't impressed enough to return or recommend.

Went to Kentucky for a concert and we ate here for dinner... The BEST thing we had was the loaded baked potato. The crab cakes had absolutely no crab in it. It was just cake and the steak was ok. We ate at the bar and the waitress apologized and said that they had new staff but our overall experience food wise was disappointing. This restaurant was suggested by the lady at the front desk of our hotel so we thought we'd try it. The ambiance is nice but again if you're looking for a decent steak and appetizer I would not suggest this place. Really wanted to like it but the presentation, wine and food is a hard pass....

Where to start, service was mediocre at best.... Lobster bisque soup was something from Sysco in a bag, bland no taste and not good. Filet, George style was very average and that's pushing it. Wife's medallions looked like beef stew when they arrived with soggy fries. I had been looking forward to dining here for a month just to be extremely disappointed and can say without a doubt I will never be back.

Very disappointed compared to what it used to be. Had to return the food for being over cooked (well done instead of medium rare), extremely salty and by the time we got it the rest of the group were done eating. The rest of the group said theirs was extremely salty also. The espresso martini was good and the baked potato was fine, nothing special. Service was fine, although they did mess up the checks at the end For $80 for one person with tip, it was frankly not worth it. Too many other places are available around town, I would recommend that instead.

This place needs Gorden Ramsey. Food needs seasoned and salt. Creepy inside with low lighting and frown on servers face. Felt like we stepped into a twilight zone movie.

I once felt like Del fresco's had one of the best filets in town. After several somewhat disappointing visits ...I think I'm done. I always thought the old location was a bit basic, but I explained it away with the thought that it was old school and a tradition of the past... the new location offers little more in the way of decor, if you are expecting upscale environment for photos of precious memories, this ain't it. The service is efficient for sure, courteous, and mysterious. ( I'm not sure if that's a good thing) On this visit we ordered the calamari which was very good, a strong start. Then like a fool I decided I had eaten the filet enough and decided to go for the prime rib 12-14oz. For a side I chose the Potatoes Au Gratin, I could already see the disappointment setting in on my wife's face as the menu has few seafood items other than fried shrimp and lobster tail. When the food arrived it was clear the bulk of what I would be having for dinner by weight was potatoes. My slice of prime rib might have been 12oz, maybe. The Prime Rib tasted okay the potatoes were okay. I casually ate pieces of filet off of my wife's plate while offering her prime rib which she declined. My point is, yeah it was okay tasted fine, that said for $150 that's should never be the description on your meal. I picked the spot so it's on me ..my 20th anniversary of mediocrity. When the waiter dropped the check it wasn't inside .. so we waited for him to return ... then For him to find it ..then to pay ..

First of all, prices on everything on the cocktail menu except the bourbon. The most I have ever paid for BuffaloTrace. Service was excellent. I had the ribeye which was cooked to order but tasteless. Tender but no seasoning on the outside. The worst steak that I have ever had in a steakhouse. My wife ordered the prime rib medium. It came out brown and well done. She is too nice to send it back. 2 drinks, 2 steaks, 2 sides, and a dessert to got for $210. Never again.

I have been a loyal customer for many years.The family and Pam who worked with me at Timothy's are fantastic as is the great chef and staff. Happy Hour the best now that Timothy's on Broadway is gone . Charlie Z

I bring people here to celebrate special occasions or accomplishments. They have the best calamari in Louisville - try it! The filet is always great and for birthday they celebrate with a mini personal birthday cake! The seats are comfortable and you can easily talk and communicate - I love all the wood paneling - very elegant. I highly recommend Del Frisco's.

Service was great, but for the money..... Meh. Prime Rib was tender but tasted like it has onion soup mix on it. Way too expensive for what you get. Go to NYC and eat at Smith & Wollensky's! Now they know how to do Prime Rib!!!!

Torn between 3 and 4 stars- would probably go 3.5 if given that option. It had been many years since I had eaten at Del Frisco's and my husband had never been so I made surprise birthday dinner reservations here a few weeks ago for him. First- they are in a completely different location than my last visit. The building now is much larger and it is quite nice though it is a bit "old school." We ordered a bottle of red wine, the calamari and the lobster bisque soup to start. The soup was amazing and the calamari texture and portion size were great too. They are known for their steaks so we both wanted filet. Daniel ordered the trio of 4 ounce filets topped with various delicious things like truffle butter and crab. I had the swordfish and filet combo and we shared a side of the green phunque. All of the sides are a-la-carte unless otherwise noted. The steaks were prepared well and we had so much food that we had to box about half to take home. The server brought out a white birthday cake with vanilla icing for the bday boy. It was basic but tasty. Though we had a lovely experience- it was expensive (about $265 after tip) for two people. Our service was good, the food was good (not outstanding) and the atmosphere was nice but nothing remarkable. For the money- there are better places in town but I would still recommend trying Del Frisco's at least once.

We have a new favorite steak! The 10 oz Filet at the original location of Del Frisco's gave us a new appreciation for unadulterated steak No toppings necessary This place was as classy as Ruth's Chris with the comfort of being welcomed to a friends house. You can dress up or you can dress down and fit right in!

What a great find. My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary (21 years!!!). We got a recommendation for Del Frisco's and I am glad we gave it a try. I would m guess we have driven by the place many many dozens of times but it never crossed our minds to go there. The atmosphere was very warm and charming. It has a nice old school(ish) feel to us without being old and stodgy. The tables where nicely spaced so that we could enjoy the company of each other and not have a lot of noise. The service was very attentive with a helpful waiter. For dinner I ordered the strip and was very very pleased. It was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. I got the green phunque as a side and it was fine - I am glad I tried it but wiuldnt get again. My wife ordered the filet and the potatoes sun gratin. The potatoes were soooo good - creamy and yummy! The waiter asked my wife if she wanted the filet butterflied and she said yes... I don't think we'll do that again. The butterflied filet was fine - a little over cooked (asked for medium-well and got well) but the flavor was fine. All in all I would for sure go back and I think we need to try the filet not butterflied.

As far as Covid restrictions go, the staff were wearing masks. However, The manager, and I'm assuming that was him because he was wearing a sport coat, came by tables and leaned over and asked how the service was going while his entire nose was hanging out of his mask. The restaurant was packed. When we arrived there was only one open table. Tables have no partitions, and no spacing between tables. No way that was 50% capacity and definitely not spaced on the side of the restaurant were on. For example two chairs were removed from our table and it was so close to the table next to us that there was no way to fit two other chairs or have the people back out. When they left they had to pull their table away to get out. I was disappointed with my cocktail. It did not taste good, something was off. I requested a wine list and ordered a glass of wine. We ordered the tossed salad for the beginning of our meal. I would bet you what I spent on my meal, that this salad came from a bag. It tasted just like a bagged salad. The best part of the salad was the homemade croutons and the fresh tomato and cucumber that they placed on the side. I would not recommend ordering the tossed salad at all. As for the steak, my husband ordered a New York strip and I ordered a fillet. It's impressive that it comes out on a sizzling plate, but that is where the excitement ends. Both were great cuts of meat and cooked to our specifications. However, as this was our first time I had no idea that the steak would come out swimming and covered in butter. I'm assuming they drowned the steaks this way because otherwise they lack any flavor. My husband and I both took our hot plates carefully with a napkin and dumped about a quarter inch of butter onto our bread plates. We have plenty to have time to do this because our steaks were brought without our side nor a steak knife. As the sides were brought later, I had to ask for a steak knives. The baked potato was overcooked and served in foil. The inside was very dense and gummy. Neither of us were able to eat but a few bites. I was really excited to try the new place because I had never eaten here before and was disappointed I missed it before it was closed and moved. Now I know I will never go back and wished that I had chosen to spend my money at a much better steakhouse. I hate giving bad reviews but I frequent Ruby's, Le Moo, and Stoney River and would recommend those instead.

We went to Del Frisco's hopeful but ultimately left disappointed. Service was good. Ambiance was also fine. The food was very disappointing. Even more so, when the dinner was over $100 per person before liquor/wine. Here is a breakdown of the visit: French Onion soup - good. They used bread chunks instead of a complete slice of bread. Easier to eat. Taste was a traditional French Onion soup which I love. Less chance I had of getting it all over me. Steaks - average to below average. We both had filets (my wife paired hers with salmon which I will get to next). Average quality but I would consider below average when my 8oz steak was just over $50, al la carte. We also ordered their peppercorn butter for each. First it was forgotten. They then took the steaks back, added it and brought it back. To say underwhelming would be an understatement. I was expecting something like a small side of the butter but instead is was a patter of butter on each steak and I could not discern the peppercorn part very much. It was also an $8 add on. Salmon - not fresh. My wife loves and eats salmon when we go out. She could not eat it due it not being fresh. Very disappointing. Particularly since she has had other salmon at Malone's and other local places that was very good. With the UPS air hub here we should not have fish that is not fresh. In fairness to the restaurant, they took this part of the meal price off the dinner (still worked out to $100 per person). Broccoli au gratin - best part of the meal. Enjoyed it. French fries - undercooked and soggy. For the price we should have perfect fries. Desserts - this was the worst of it all (though the fish is not far behind). We had both a piece of the chocolate cake and carrot cake. We took them home and opened them about 90 minutes after dinner. We were told they were the best desserts on the menu First they were extremely small and even a piece of the edge of each cake was missing. On top of that they were extremely dry. I mean extremely dry....like the Sahara. The icing was separating from the cake part for both pieces and was like a solid piece on each layer. It was like they were bought at store and kept in the fridge for way too long. If they were made on premise, then they were the worst ever. If they bought them, they need to get a better vendor. They also cost $14 for each slice. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. You have Malone's (always a consistently good experience), Jeff Ruby's, Ruth Chris, Stoney River and, now, Capital Grille (favorite go to restaurant before we moved here) to have, in my opinion, a much better experience. There are also good seafood restaurants, according to my wife. I don't like seafood so can't rate any of them though I, ironically, had a better steak and experience at Mitchell's Fish Market than Del Frisco's.

What happened? The service and steaks used to be top notch at the original restaurant. This was my first visit to the Hurstborne location. From the exterior facade to the interior seating and design, everything looked upscale and beautiful. On a Wednesday night the restaurant was busy at 6, but definitely not packed or full. We were seated outside the main dining area and were the only group in that row of tables. We had a reservation and the four of us were seated promptly. That's the point everything went downhill. After being seated we waited a decent amount of time before our drink order was taken. With menus in hand, we ordered an appetizer when drinks were delivered. We STILL had the menu in our hands when the appetizer was delivered. We placed our dinner order at that - approximately 30 - 45 minutes after being seated. All at the table ordered steaks and a side dish. It took another 30-40 minutes before our meal arrived. The server did not deliver the dishes ordered and did not check on the delivery for quite awhile - long enough that items were asked for from another server passing by. The filet was good. The ribeye was tough without much flavor as it had little marbling. The scalloped potatoes were spicy as if cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce was part of the receipt. They definitely weren't the creamy or cheesy version expected and desired. Anyone with an aversion to spices shouldn't order. All sides are large enough to be shared ny two which would have been nice to have pointed out by the waiter at time of ordering. The bill for two meals, two sides, one appetizer and two alcoholic drinks and one tea was almost $250. I understand staffing is tight and restaurant food costs have increased greatly BUT for this amount of money service should be exceptional and the food amazing. Neither came close. Sad that this iconic place which we had enjoyed so much has been modernized and the once marvelous steak flavor diminished to just average. Can't afford to go back and give it another opportunity to change my mind.

I along with 5 other adults ate here on NYE 12/31/2023. The atmosphere was good, restaurant is beautiful inside. However, the looks of the place is really the only thing that makes it stand out. We all ordered appetizers, salads/soups, and steaks with sides. The appetizers were just mediocre, really had no special taste or seasoning. The soup/salad was probably the best part of the meal. When it came time for our entree's our steaks arrived with no sides. We also were not provided with steak knives, had to ask for those and then was asked by the waitress if we all needed one. I'm not sure if they assumed we would share?? Our sides that we ask about twice that never showed with our meals, didn't arrive until we had all finished our steaks. Other than one person in our party that did eat part of hers, the rest of us had ours boxed up to take home. We all had eaten at the old Del Frisco's before and been super happy each time we visited. We dined there on many occasions, but it would seem the move to the bigger location created a place that is just sub-par. Due to the number of tables, and they seemed to be overbooked they can't provide the food/atmosphere that was once a staple of Louisville, KY. There are so many other places in Louisville that I will choose to eat instead of going back to Del Frisco's again. When you want a nice dinner and willing to pay for good food this is not the place.

Took our two sons and family here for a birthday celebration. Atmosphere is nice but very dark. It's difficult to read the menus. Especially the small print drink menu. There was no mention of the birthday celebration by anyone at the restaurant. That was disappointing. First, service was very good. The manager spent a lot of time in the dining room. Food: it was just okay. Steaks were not seasoned and the kabob was way over cooked. Ordered medium. At best it was medium well, more like well done. My husbands NY strip had probably 5 oz fat and gristle. Broccoli au gratin was made with whole florets. Tasted good, but I've never seen a casserole with whole florets. Wedge salad and bread/butter was very good. The filets we ordered (3) were very well cooked, just not seasoned. For the price point $366 for six people, one being a child, I would go elsewhere. Ruth's Chris is much better quality, food preparation and similar service. Won't return. Too bad because we loved the other Louisville location. Food was much better.

Outstanding food and service! Upscale steakhouse with classic ambiance. Extensive wine list. Servers are well versed and attentive.

Excellent food, service, and classy atmosphere. It's just too pricey for a regular dinner. Go for a special occasion.

There with a party of 13. Great ambiance for large party. Not too loud. Would have liked a round table rather than long rectangle. Steaks were amazing served in sizzling butter. Also the au gratin potatoes were to die for!

I dined here last Friday and had an overall good experience. The food and drinks were good and the service was solid. Our hostess and waiter were diligent and personality plus. My wife and I ordered 2 cocktails, 2 filet's, and 2 sides in total and paid $260 (including tip). - After everything, we were most impressed by the complimentary bread and butter - It was delicious. The issue with Del Frisco's is that the inside is generic and without an identity. There's no character or "pizazz" and we both just left saying "meh". For the restaurant to have moved to a new location, everything on the inside just seemed incredibly outdated. (Pro: your grandparents will love it!) For the price, there are much better options in the city.

The ambiance is great. We went to Del Frisco's for our anniversary. We both had steak my husband steak was medium mind was medium well. For $150.00 no drinks we had a salad and potatoes. The steaks we're not very tender. They were good but not great. We eaten at the old Del Frisco's is was fantastic something has change. The service was great. The food not so.

Nice "old school" ambiance. Delicious rib eyes, potatoes au gratin, and crab cakes. Service was excellent, but a little slow. We were in no hurry, so we enjoyed the slow pace. A bit pricey, but all prices have gone up recently, so this was expected.

Attended this location for the first time for a friends birthday dinner. When we got there they had everything ready and seated us immediately. We had 14 ppl and multiple servers stepped in and accommodated our every need. While going through the menu, each question I had about various side options was explained to me with great detail. I ordered the NY Strip with Broccoli Au Gratin, and both were satisfying.

The owner has the worst attitude. She seemed like a bigot. Loud and entitled. If you have a problem with anger management you should have a manager to deal with the customers and stay away from dealing with them. Our party was there 2 hours and 15 mins before we got our entrees. Our drinks were wrong, our appetizers were wrong. Soup came out with the steaks. Lobster bisque tasted like blended sugar. The steaks were wrong, under cooked and cold. The servers need more training that was also evident. Save your time and money for a more professional place of business with chefs who care what they send out the kitchen. And who's owners/management understand proper customer service skills.

It's fine. But everything is kind of bland. I think maybe it would be good for drinks and appetizers but the steak is not my favorite

Lowest tier of the Del Frisco's I've been to. Very limited selection on the menu in comparison the the "Grill' and "Double Eagle" that I have been to. Service was subpar for the reputation as well. I personally will not be going back on my dime.

EXCELLENT! Made reservations for 7:30. Had time to enjoy drinks prior to food arriving. Had pork chops, broccoli and mushrooms, lobster filet and boiled tomatoes. One dish constantly trumped the other. Highly recommend!

The steak was tender, but had no taste! The potatoes had little taste, either! Green Phunque was good! The atmosphere was Wonderful!
