Del Place Restaurant

Touristic restaurant perfectly situated in front of the Islette island. The food was very tasteful but the restaurant is plagued by a very slow service. From the first order to the bill, I had to ask multiple times before getting anything. Plus, be prepared to spend relatively a lot of money in this restaurant compared to the median. Main courses start at Rs470. I recommend the shrimp woke.

After three nights of good quality food and service the fourth time on Saturday night it was disappointing. Service was good but, * both main fish meals were lukewarm and delivered within three minutes of our order. Seemed like they were prepared well beforehand! * the advertised poster showed a woman playing guitar but there was no female playing on the night Pity there was no consistency in food quality.

Very nice and romantic atmosphere, friendly waitress, the food is crazy Good !!! I ate the best octopus in my life !!! So tasty and delicate!! We went to eat at Del Place again a few days later and it was so nice !! Very polite waitress and the Food is absolutely fantastic !! Thanks for the best octopus 🐙🦑

We stopped at this spot on our drive around. The views are out of this world and we ate the best hummus we have ever had. Absolutely incredible with reasonable pricing in comparison to hotels.

Everything about this place was amazing. The waiters, the staff, were all so sweet and welcoming. The views facing the islands were breathtaking. The food, we had grilled prawns and baked tuna and they were both delicious. They have a free parking across the street. The ambience is very homy - with awesome music choices (all cover songs). Let me fill you in on a little secret too: Seychelles Got Talent 2019 Winner works here Leana and she has one of the most beautiful voices Ive ever heard

Amazing dining experience!!! Produce is of outstanding quality 👌🏼 the staff are friendly and attentive. We had the octopus curry, flavour 100% although a little bit tough, and, rare tuna steak which was perfect 🤩

Disappointing experience After all the rave reviews on trip advisor we thought this place was going to be magical, but it really did not deliver. The server was fantastic, but there was only two of them working on a Saturday night so service was incredibly slow. Unsure why they had two people on the front desk checking people in, and perhaps they should have helped the servers on a busy Saturday night. Meal worked out to £200 GBP, for 2, which would have been fine but it was some of the worst food I’ve eaten. Starters were ok, mains were terrible, beef was a very poor cut, tough, and completely overcooked. Lobster should have been perfect (for £75) it was so dry. The sauce to come out with it came late, we had waited 90 minutes for our main by this point absolutely starving and had eaten it by the time the sauce came out. Deserts were ok. We had to wait so long for our food that we were late for our baby sitter by an hour! We wanted to love this place, but it was incredibly disappointing and I’m confused how they are number one on the island on trip advisor

We arrived to an empty restaurant at 1830 for a quick bite to eat with literally 10 people inside and almost all tables empty - they told us they were fully booked and didn’t let us have food. With low tourist season and not many people inside, I really don’t understand why they didn’t let us in. We were wearing proper clothes.
