Del Rey Avocado Co

I bought a bag of your avocados from winco grocery store. When I went to use them there's hard areas inside the avocado next to ripe areas. When I did a search online it said that you use Apeel, by Bill Gates, The unknown chemical. For this reason I won't be purchasing anymore Del Rey avocados. And even organic isn't safe because some of those have Organipeel on them.

I bought a organic de ray and it was dark green in side i ate b/c i wanted nutrition oil and vitamin bouyht at wholefoodels 3.00 each

The place is small but you'll be surprised how many avacados go in and out of this place. The guys in shipping and receiving do a heck of a job getting everyone in and out as quickly as possible.

The people are great. Very respectful and easy going. The only downside is the lack of parking but you can stack several trucks in if needed. Sometimes all the product isn't ready in the morning but they let you know up front about what time frame you're looking at to get loaded and gone.

Nice little town. Fast unloading. Not busy shippers. Best bet is to stop just before the warehouse and park and check in. That way you'll know if any trucks are ahead of u. Not much space for parking a truck. But enough to get in back safely and go out.

Great fast place.. friendly customer service. The only thing I don't like is their parking situation. But besides that, all good. No overnight parking here. There just is no space. No public bathroom

I wrote this review 10 months ago but it seems it was removed. Here it is again: Please stop using Apeel coating! It has ruined your formerly wonderful avocados. For at least a year now, I have notice that there is something wrong with avocados. They are hard on the outside but the inside is too soft. The skin is brittle, sticks to the avocado and breaks off in pieces instead of peeling off easily and smoothly. Inside is brown and rotted at least half the time. Apeel is disgusting. Supposedly safe but they won't reveal the chemicals used in making or applying the product to coat produce. Plus how much nutrients are lost from their coating process making us eat old food? Used to love avocados. Won't buy them anymore unless can find without Apeel coating. Corporations need to stop ruining our food.

Great place to make a delivery ! Every time I come it’s a very quick process . I’ve came a day early and they have unloaded me even after hours . I could give these guys 100 stars if I could . Great Great facility ! Mendez Trucking
