Yelp
The place we stayed at for our vaca recommends this place. They said Del Sur was their favorite restaurant for dinner. We agreed after our meal. Everything we ordered was delectable, and we even loved it so much that we ordered more food the next night to eat with our leftovers. We appreciated the cuisine combo of Argentina and Italy. I've never seen it before. We really took advantage of it and mixed the two cuisines all night.
There were five of us, and we started our meal with a bottle of Argentina Malbec, and one friend got a glass of Josh Chardonnay.
For our appetizers, we ordered the shrimp empanadas, Argentina sausage, provolenta, cheese in oil with sauce, tomatoes and onions, and a side of linguini with pesto sauce. We added the pasta after I asked our very kind server about the sauce options for the side of linguini. We are every little bite of our apps and barely had room for our main courses, but it was all so good we still are some of them.
Everyone loved their meal but took the food home and knew we would enjoy it just as much the next day. One of the girls chose the skirt steak with a side of Bolognese, which was the least favorite of the pasta from the evening. The vegetarian in our group ordered the butternut squash ravioli with butter sage sauce. One friend devoured the spare ribs with mushroom risotto. My other friend decided upon the chicken marsala. I ordered, in my opinion, the best meal of the evening, which was the grilled Mahi Mahi with a side of linguini in Alfredo sauce. Everyone loved it so much that the next day we ordered two Caesar salads and three sides of the linguini with Alfredo sauce to go with our other levels.
Since we were so full, we ordered our desserts to go. They had creme brulee, and that is three of our favorites desserts. It was orange-flavored, and I liked it, but the other two could have done without it, but I still enjoyed it. We also got the Kailua chocolate cake which was very moist and enjoyable.
