Del Taco

The food is really good! I dined here Nov 11, 2025 and the fries and donut bites tasted like they had been cooked in fresh oil. One star off atmosphere for loud music and the dining room needing a little TLC in places

IYKYK. Del Taco has the best fast food tacos, hamburgers and milkshakes all on one little sit down restaurant. Cheaper than any other fast food joint on the strip, and the food is 10x better than any other fast food joint in the area, hands down. Mini Churros for dessert are the topping on the cake.

Never had a bad experience in 15 years of frequenting this location. Management and staff have always been friendly to us and the place is always clean. Food is always good. Manage your expectations, it’s fast food not a classy sit down, but I would say this spot is the leader in their category. Major plus - they are open very late.

First time trying Del Taco and my family and i really loved the food. Coming from Maryland we do not have Del Taco. Nice spot. I would say the lobby needs to be upkept more. Saw many dirty tables on both of my visits. Staff is super friendly.

Love Del Taco and don’t have any in TX but, this Del Taco is falling apart and tons of ants along with spiders. Soda machine was a disaster and not readable or functional in a lot of the options. Food was ok but, everything else was sad.

From Ohio over here and our Florida friends rave over Del Taco. Now in town we of course had to stop here instead of the regular taco bell haha. So thanks to yall! We enjoyed our meal! Everything was made right.

lots of different Mexican food options to choose from. Very similar to a Taco Bell type experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. The store itself was well maintained. The store is wheelchair accessible. There is a drive-through and they’re also is parking and inside dining.

I always go for lunch since it’s cheap and consistently good. I keep it simple with hard shell tacos but they’re always really good. Three tacos for $7 can’t be beat. Great lunch.

Xitali working the drive through was absolutely amazing! She was so patient & kind to us while we ordered a bunch of stuff & changed it & were just overall more difficult than we needed to be, haha. We only get Del taco about once a year since we don't have it where we live and it was so nice to be treated so kindly. Thank you Xitali!

Good tacos and burgers. As fast food goes this is fresh and lately a frequent stop for a quick meal. Their current claim to fame is Del Taco is the #1 fast food chain in the US. Pros: -Fresh made food at reasonable prices. Always a lot better than the bell. -New deals are released in the app every Wednesday -They introduce new menu items keeping it fresh, not rerelease of previous menu specials -Great rewards program Negatives: -You can order online but Del Taco does not begin to prepare your order until you click "I am here." As in at the restaurant. -You cannot order the Tuesday or Thursday specials (weekly good deal) through the app. Must be ordered in person in the restaurant or through the drive thru before 11 pm. Weird since Del Taco is open until 2 AM. -Clunky Del Taco app is not very user intuitive. They have in app only specials. -Staff is for the most part nice, high turnover, management is oblivious -Clean but spartan dining room. At some point in the evening Del Taco staff will close off the seating area with wet floor signs. -There is one napkin dispenser on the counter. Sauces and condiments have been moved between the self service kiosk and customer service. They have a counter where these used to have sauces, napkins, etc close to the soda dispenser. It was more convenient and less crowded than at the front counter.

Del Taco is one of my mainstays when I need a quick healthy meal while on vacation. Staff was friendly and the place was clean enough. My 8 layer veggie burritos were as delicious as they usually are. In particular it seems that they've improved their guac recipe; it tastes even better now. I've already voiced my opinion of Del Taco removing the Beyond Meat from their menu, so I won't go into detail about it here, but I wish they would bring it back. Aside from that, I don't understand why Del doesn't have a burrito bowl option. Most Tex Mex places have bowls and it's an enjoyable way to eat Tex Mex if you don't want to have a tortilla. They used to have bowls and I think they should bring them back as well. With that said, I still very much like this chain.

Food was hot and fresh, and service was to the point. Nothing special as again another late night craving stop after being at a concert that night!

Yeah! Del Taco somewhere other than California! What a pleasant surprise after substandard hotel and retail store experiences. The tacos were DELICIOUS! Ample meat and cheese but a bit stingy with tomatoes but sooo tasty! The drive thru order taker was super pleasant and even gave me a cup of ice I asked about! Yeah!!!! This store was the highlight of the day!

Can't go wrong with Del Taco. I wasn't that hungry so had only 2 snackers whereas my husband and son were hungrier and had meals. Man working there was friendly. I know it's not fine dinning but I like Del Taco.

Good. Fast. Cheap. Convienient. I think there's more variety than Taco Bell and better.

Del Taco is a staple of fast food down in the south west so I was SUPER EXCITED to see one in Orlando after a long day of theme parking. In New Mexico they're everywhere so I wasn't sure what to expect here 3 words: carne Asada fries. They were always my go-to after a long night of reckless behavior lol. 4 stars is because I got sick. I'm not sure if it's because I downed my fries while riding on I-4 (they were fresh and I needed them now). I'll be back. If I get the BGs again, then we know it wasn't my scarfing down my carne asada fries that got me sick lol

Employee at the drive thru was very patient and friendly. He explained the different tacos they had because we couldn't remember the name of the ones we loved in Vegas from this chain. The food didn't take long and tasted great. I didn't get to take a picture, but the chicken queso burrito with fries was amazing! So filling and way more meat than any other fast food chain offers. Del carbon tacos were tasty as well and the ramen Birria wasn't bad for a fast food restaurant, I just didn't care too much for the noodles and wish there was more beef. Overall, I plan to visit to again before I leave Florida just for more tacos

I LOVE DEL TACO! Why aren't there more Del Tacos?!?!? There should be more! Everytime I come I get the del taco carbon it comes with chicken or steak and diced onions, cilantro and a green sauce and OMG it's delicious! It's like a REAL taco and not like a Taco Bell taco! I also got a cheese quesadilla for my son, it was sooo good and the cheese was amazing! To drink I ordered a Purple Pear Poppers Sprite! It had boba in it! Soooo good! I always go in the drive-thru and the service is always so quick and very efficient.

Hurts me to write this review as we usually love Del Taco... We opted to eat inside and could not believe how dirty it was. The soda machines were not working properly, all the soda had a funky taste. There were ants all over the fountain machine. I ordered a burrito and found a piece of plastic in it. I will say this, the staff was very friendly and made it right by making a new one. Just sucks we spent a lot of money for mediocre food. Maybe it just this location, but I remember the food tasting better.

I probably pretty biased, as Del Taco is definitely a mainstay if you're from California. And yeah, it's just a Tex mex taco, but it's also so much more. I love that they freshly prepare the ingredients every day, you get REAL cheese and tomatoes on your tacos, and the portions are hug, inexpensive, and piping hot. Also, I can take my tacos to go and not have to worry about the shell falling apart or getting mushy (I'm talking to you, Taco Bell). If you want a no frills taco, del taco is where it's at.

This establishment was somehow empty, for being in the busy and touristic area in Orlando. When I walked in I wonder why was it so empty.... I started with ordering the beef Birria Ramen, that it was recommended by a friend to try, I had to say that I was impressed by the flavor, it wasn't salty as I expected and it was tasty. However, the temperature in the soup could've been a bit of warmer. I asked the person that served our food to warm it up a little bit and he said no it is impossible, he could've had exchange my soup for another warmer one, but he didn't even offer, so I'm not very happy about it. I did order some other items from the menu and I wasn't impressed if I have to choose tacos from El taco And Taco Bell I will choose Taco Bell over El taco.....

!!!!!!!! I have loved Del Taco for decades and hadn't been since my last trip to L.A. Happy to say the Florida location doesn't disappoint.

The food was excellent, taco shells were crisp with lots of meat and cheese, unlike other taco places, the service was great and the fries and tacos were superb! Restaurant was clean, and we really enjoyed our meal. I would never go to another taco place if there is a Del Taco close!

First time trying a Del Taco. It was okay... I will give it another shot in the future. This location was a little sad. Most of the tables were dirty but the dining room was pretty empty. Staff were nice once they made it to the counter... but it took almost 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Maybe just a bad day.

I enjoy Del Taco because their ingredients are fresher than Taco Bell. Their value for money is there as well. The staff has some lovely people as well. I wish they had some Del Taco's in North Orlando.

Food is ok . Be aware high prices and very small portions , the service is ok, took to long to get our food, good ambiance.

Yummy Yummy for my Tummy! Del Taco is everything that another nationally known taco establishment (T.Bell) wishes they could be! I had been craving tacos. Not the "real" traditional Mexican kind, but the American hard shell with beef, veggies and cheese. So walking down the street, I came across Del Taco. I had never heard of them and figured, how bad could they be? Well... turns out they're not bad at all! I stood there about 20 minutes just looking at the menu. I couldn't make a decision. I knew I wanted a taco, but at the same time I wanted to try everything on the menu! It was really busy so I just kept letting people pass me. Got my hard-shelled Del Tacos, they didn't disappoint. I also went for the Del combo and 8 layer veggie classic burritos which were yummy as well. Fries were good and needed. I really wanted more but knew I couldn't eat it all. They lost a star due to cleanliness. While the staff seemed very friendly, this place needed to be swept, and tables needed to be wiped off. There was no one really on that part. Found out this is a chain. Hopefully they will expand more to the North and At least bring 1 to the NYC area. I really enjoyed Del Taco! On a side note *If you come to any fast food place expecting true "Mexican" food, you are delusional. Lol Take Del Taco for what it really is, Mexican inspired American fast food. So sit down, eat your tacos and Enjoy!!!

Del Taco brings back a lot of funny memories for me so I just love it. Those were from Las Vegas but every time I am in Orlando, I can't help myself but stop and get a taco or two. This time we tried some new items and one is kinda like the Mexican Pizza that Taco Bell got ride of and we really enjoyed that since we've been missing the pizza. I know the company is expending over here to the West Coast, to the Bradenton area so I am hoping Tampa is also included in that.

I love Del Taco! My boyfriend was trying it for the first time and loved it! The beef burrito, classic grilled chicken burrito, classic grilled chicken taco and The Del Taco (crunchy beef) all must try items! These items are so good as they come you don't even need additional sauces! This location could use some TLC physically but the service was good.

"Maybe" in California these things are good but not in Orlando. For the money, just add five dollars and go to a real Mexican restaurant.

Good portions. Service was good and people are polite. Place seems like it's falling apart. Moldy ceiling tiles and condensation dripping in multiple spots. Window seals look water damaged as well.

Similar experience to other reviewers: it was refreshing to see a del taco this far away from socal. This location seemed to be well put together, and the food was prepared with care. We visited a couple times while in Orlando and would come again.

My husband and I decided to get some tacos from Del Taco while in Florida because we don't have one local to us. We didn't go to the restaurant, just got it delivered to our hotel via doordash, so I did not get a chance to vibe out the location or employees. The tacos I got were delicious though and my husband gobbled up his food quickly as well. If we ever happen upon a Del Taco again I will definitely be asking to go because the tacos were very good for a fast food restaurant.

Some thing different, but food is good. Staff is always friendly and courteous, everytime we have eaten at this spot. Semi quiet considering it's on the tourist strip and the helicopter pad is right across from them.

Is it bad that I keep coming here? I keep having mixed experiences. I really enjoy the food and I think that's why I keep coming back. The new location in Kissimmee has been doing a much better job but this one was the one that was convenient and this particular day. It's been a little while and I figured let's try them again. We stopped through the drive-thru with a fairly simple order. We ordered a couple of the burritos that are by two for x amount of money. It used to be $5 but now it's $7 for the two of them. We also got two Chicken Taco del Carbon, fries and a Crunchtada with beef. The immediate problem I noticed upon receiving her order was that the crunch tada box was on its side in the bag. Being as what this particular item is it should be lying flat. Sure enough when we opened the box all the toppings were on one side of the box and the shell was bent in the box. On the plus side there was a ton of toppings and I was able to push most of them back on top of it again. In the end I had to use a spoon to finish everything that fell off in the box while trying to eat it. It did taste the way I expected and I was happy with the food as usual. At the window they had asked me if we wanted any sauce and I asked for some Dell inferno. When she asked me how many I would like I asked for six. She only gave us four and one of the medium. There always seems to be problems with this location. They don't have Wi-Fi so it makes it difficult to use the app. I had actually attempted to use the app before we got here and it wouldn't let me place an order at this location. When I asked that the window they said there was probably just an issue with the app. When I checked the app later on it was working again. When I'm in the area I will probably still stop at this location from time to time but I would never be a regular at it.

Definitely a higher end Taco Bell. Their taco salads are filling and delicious, a great pick me up. You definitely need to stop here if you want something quick and filling.

Good inexpensive mexican Also hamburgers for the non mexican crowd. Food was hot and fresh for fast food. Although not gourmet it was reasonable fast and delicious

Have been to this Del Taco many times and this time was not very impressed. I got what was supposed to be a jumbo shrimp taco and it literally only had 2 shrimp on it and was just cold and not very pleasing. Will not get this menu item again. I usually get the steak street tacos which are fantastic. Also got a regular beef hard taco and the beef and cheese on it was plentiful and tasty especially compared to Taco Bell and was delicious but meat was not warm. Ate some of my boyfriends crinkle fries which were good but not as fresh and crispy as they usually are. Still gave them 3 starts just past visits have been fabulous and would have been a 5, this particular visit was more like a 2. Hopefully next visit I can update this review and give them more stars! I think we just came at a bad time.

I ordered the 2 taco plate which comes with 2 tacos, ride, beans, and chips with salsa. I asked for no beans, and was offered double rice which showed up on my receipt. When I got my order it was still rice and beans. Each of us ordered separately and was asked if we wanted it here or to go. We all said for here but we all got our orders to go. Pretty much like taco bell but with crinkle fries. I always get crunch tacos and comparing the two I like Taco Bells ground beef better but I like how Del Taco's had tomatoes.

It is the direct competitor of the Taco Bell, many of the item is similar. But Del Taco does seem to have better ingredients. As matter of facts, they do have more choices such as the beer battered fish taco. They alway did not miss an item in my order and their employees are friendly. One tip would have to be using their apps to get a discount or promotions. When I sign up on their app, they give me a free taco. Their taco are a bit more toward authenticity than taco bell but it still is far from a real authentic taco. But as a late night option it is a good alternatives.

Del Taco is better than Taco Bell, seriously! Great food variety including their seafood tacos. Also, staff is VERY friendly! The drive through operators make me want to come back every day because they are so nice :)

They are always super super fast and friendly. They always get your order right. I love it ... they even give you a napkin because most restaurants don't

First visit ever. Surprisingly tasty. Large portions. Flavor was very good compared to Taco Hell. Ordered Beefy nachos + Beefy tostada (like TB's Mexican pizza) + Taco Supreme + Burrito Supreme. Everything was good. Amazingly, Del Taco satisfied everyone in our group. We don't have Del Taco anywhere near us. But if we ever find ourselves near I-Drive again, and we want a quick fast food Mexican fix, we'll be back. Nice job.

*** To Go Order***. I have ordered from this place a few times. Every time I order it they always get my order right! I also asked for a couple extra packets of sauce and they make sure to take care of me. My order has never been messed up and through the Uber app it usually comes a lot faster than normal. Fives all day long and I definitely will have to come here in person!

07/27/2020 . The service is good and the food is not terrible. It's what you would expect from a fast food taco joint almost like Taco Bell . But I would have to say I actually like this place more than Taco Bell . The meat wasn't too bad, the beans were good and the fries weren't have that bad and made right and not overcooked. Would I eat here again .....maybe .

I love going to new places, even if they are fast food. Nothing like trying something out that you can't get at home, right? Sometimes your expectations are low and you end up leaving the place a total fan. This is me and Del Taco. A friend and I were in Orlando and I kind of begged her to try it with me because who wants to eat tacos alone? I mean I would but C'mon... The inside looked like any other fast food restaurant so nothing really to review there. It was pretty clean, but could use a scrubbing here and there. The guy at the counter let us take our time and order. I noticed they had a dollar type menu. I ordered a tostada, mini cheese quesadilla, chicken wrap wrap and a drink- all for $5. I also had a free order of chips and queso from signing up on their web site. I like free so I was a big fan of that. The food came out really quickly. Even more surprising was the food was really good! Especially considering the price. My favorite was the tostada. Crunchy shell with beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese and of course some salsa! I really liked the mini cheese quesadilla which was $0.59. It was tiny, but super cheap so I could've bought another if I really wanted to. Overall I was a really big fan of this place. If it were next to a Taco Bell I would absolutely, without a doubt choose Del Taco of T-Bell. They also serve burgers here, but lets be real, why are you buying a burger from a taco joint? Stick with the tacos and you'll be fine here.

Dont even try to compare to Taco Bell. They are a fast food place with drive thru. They have breakfast items too. Did I mention they also serve the impossible meat! Yup sure do. Went for twco tuesday where you get 3 del tacos which are their bigger regular sized tacos filled I mean filled to the top with meat cheese lettuce and tomatoes. 3 of them for just over 3 bucks. They have street style tacos wet burritos regular burritos and other items including burgers and fries woot! So usually my fiance will kill the 10 pack? From taco bell but barely was able to finish 4 of the 6 he ordered. Lol They also have all the sauces at the table for convienace and the best part was watching the staff clean the floors and tables. My daughter very much enjoyed her taco and a chocolate chip cookie. They also have fish tacos on the menu. Next time that's the plan.

This location is near some of the craziness of the tourist areas, but how can you not love Del Taco! Amazing food at an amazing price. I miss this place when I'm traveling in areas that do not have it. Hope they continue to expand. This one is an excellent spot with excellent food.

We arrived around 9:10 got our food at 9:20 while we did get our food fast when we sat at a table it had not been cleaned. All of the tables in fact were not clean. We had to wipe down the table our selves then while eating we noticed ants all over the wall. The food was mid ( mediocre ).

"Taco Tuesday" is one of my children's favor day to eat dinner. We love to come to Del Taco on Tuesday because they have the Value Taco Nite 12 Taco for $5. This place is always busy and is located at the international drive, there are a lot of tourist eat here and only thing is sometimes the wait time is a little longer for the food to be ready. Their fries is amazing and very fresh. The Taco are delicious and fresh made. Today we came here and the food cost $29.65, so it is not bad for family value meal. All the kids enjoy their taco and food. We recommend you to try this place and they have special Tuesday and Thursday! Food is good and the staff are friendly. It is a great for family value meal or if you feel like to eat taco for the day! Hope you enjoy Del Taco like our family do!

First impression upon walking in was that it literally resembled a Taco Bell. The closer you look at the menu the more you realize it's A LOT better than a Taco Bell. They have a vegetarian friendly menu which was convenient. They also offered really affordable meal deals and a variety of options including breakfast. My friend got a meal deal (triple chicken box) for $6 which included a chicken quesadilla, 2 chicken tacos, fries and a drink. I tried her fries and YES they are as good as everyone says. She devoured everything else. I tried the chicken street taco and the beyond avocado taco. Both of them were sooo good. I loathe having to go to fast food places but everything tasted so fresh. The line was a bit long bc they only had one person the register but otherwise I have no complaints. They're also open 24 hours! Yay Del Taco

Food was very skippy for the price. Not very good and worse than Taco Bell portions. When asked why there hardly any Queso comment back was we only do one scope showed them there wasn't even a scoop on there! They didn't offer to fix it. Poor food quality and poor customer service. Won't go back.

I was psyched to try Del TACO. They have a huge menu. I tried their regular tacos, they were OK. They had a slightly different taste to the tacos that I have had before. Not sure what it is and not sure that I like it. The main thing that put me off was the Epic BBQ Crispy Chicken Bacon Burrito. It had this funky extra sweet sauce that just ruined it for me. I was so disappointed. I dunno, I'll give them another try some time and see it it's any better.

We have visited many times and this visit was the best. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly by one of the employees. Then at the register we had a fantastic interaction with Jonathan who took our order. At the last minute my Mom decided to add on the New Caramel Cheesecake Bites and his eyes lit up and he told us they are the best. Well, when an employee has a reaction like that you know you can't go wrong. I love how this is a fast food American Taco kind of joint but you get fries with your value meal. And these aren't your run of the mill mcd or bk fries they are krinkle fries my friends! The ones that grab onto ketchup and don't let go! So yes I will make my burrito and drink a meal. Load me up with those delicious never soggy fries. Plus you have to add on a crunchada tostada, it's only like $1, and I love it! A crispy corn tortilla, with enchilada sauce or maybe it's hot sauce, with refried beans, lettuce and cheese. Love it!! Then when it was all finished we finally got to dessert. Those Caramel Cheesecake Bites that Jonathan raved about. When you Slide them out of the pack they look like little egg rolls almost. But when you take a bite you get that crispy outside but then you are snaked with that sweet, warm and creamy inside of ooey gooey caramel and sweet cream cheese. I hope these stay around awhile because I would love to have them again. Happy dining!
