The 14 Best Pools in Las Vegas

"Inside the Delano Hotel tower, which itself is part of the massive Mandalay Bay resort, the Delano Beach Club is a quiet respite from the usual glitz of the Strip. It's reminiscent of its Miami predecessor in that white is the dominant furniture color and that there’s a large in-water chess-set sculpture. But otherwise, it’s a lovely and mellow place to dry out for the day. The pool deck also has a handful of hammocks, while cabanas come with fun amenities such as pool toys, non-alcoholic drinks and TVs. Delano Bites, the poolside café, caters to all appetites from gluten-free salads to loaded nacho plates. Booking a room at the Delano is kind of a win-win when it comes to the pool scene. You can choose to be mellow here, or you can decide to get a little more wild at Mandalay Bay Beach." - Juliana Shallcross

Delano Beach Club Las Vegas – Activity Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Let’s start big picture. Situated at the Delano Hotel tower, which itself is part of the massive Mandalay Bay resort, the Delano Beach Club is a quiet respite from the usual glitz of the Strip. It is reminiscent of its Miami predecessor in that white is the dominant furniture color and that there’s a large in-water chess-set sculpture. But otherwise, it’s a lovely and mellow place to dry out for the day. Any standout features or must-sees? That in-water chessboard is a big hit, if only for photo ops, but the pool deck also has a handful of hammocks spread throughout. The cabanas come with a fun assortment of amenities like pool toys, non-alcoholic drinks and TVs, while Delano Bites serve caters to all appetites from gluten-free salads to loaded nacho plates. Who can use the pool? The Delano Beach Club is located off the larger Mandalay Bay Beach area. Guests of the Delano also get access to the Mandalay Bay Beach area. All said and done, what—and who—is this best for? Booking a room at the Delano is kind of a win-win when it comes to the pool scene. You can choose to be mellow at Delano Beach Club or you can decide to get a little more wild at Mandalay Bay Beach where there’s a wave pool, an actual sandy beach, an adults-only oasis and full-on concerts in the summertime." - Juliana Shallcross

Vegas isn't what it used to be. Delano pool is nice. Be patient for servers and plan on paying $8 for a bottle of water. Pro tip: bartenders will give you a large glass of ice for free and there is a water stand.

We had a cabana and enjoyed all it's amenities. Fridge, lounge chairs, and lots of shade. The pool was very unique with a large chess game in it. The environment is very relaxed and more on the quiet side than other beach clubs.

Horrible experience. Wait list was crazy and mask policy not fair to all guests. Lazy river line was nonsense. Just don't go for the Mandalay Bay pools.

Today I checked in. I requested high floors with a strip view. April the front desk staff advised me that they can honor high floors but no strip view but only a pool view. Why would I want to look at a pool in November in Vegas. Then I request to speak to a manager and the manager only option is offer a lessor room with strip view or pay additional for penthouse suite. So never did she tell me I would pay less for a lessor room but was quick to say I would pay $175 additional per night. Crazy I tell you. This is my 2nd mishap with the Delano and after this I don’t think I’ll pick this resort again. Vegas has way more to offer and everyone speaks to you as if it’s not their problem. I’m over it. 11-7-2020

beautiful cabanas. Smaller pool was much more peaceful than Mandalay Bay wave pool, but only a 1 minute walk away. Drinks and food served by waitstaff. Curved pool floats are great for lounging in the shallows. Life sized chess board in the pool. very nice day we had there.

Room was nice, but service and communication was totally off. We booked a king suite just to get put into a double suite on their live well level. Um we are not disabled or even elderly. My wife called 24 hours just to make sure we would get that king suite since that's what we paid for, especially because our room was supposed to be near our families. Amber I believe was her name said everything was okay on their end. I don't know what happened, (neither does anyone who works here) now we are sitting in our two queen bed suite with just the two of us, with a mirror and shower constructed for someone who is in a wheel chair. When checking in we weren't told we had a different room from what we paid for. We called and all they said was we can pay your resort credits....? What are we doing on the resort? Walking around gambling... paying your checks on the casino floor. The pool is limited access and all the cabanas are reserved which we checked 24 hours before. I understand the covid issues I got that but, that's not an excuse to not care about your guests and give horrible service. I will not stay here again, I also will remind all my friends and family... fyi the women came here for a bachelorette party and they love this place. Well not anymore. Get your stuff together, perhaps some refreshers on service and open your communication up some.

We were forced to pour out our water bottles, I had a small package of crackers in my bag that I was also forced to throw out before entering. A bucket of 6 water bottles was $60, and we were warned not to take the empty bottles to the bathroom and fill them up. The food was ok, $18 for chicken strips and fries, cold pool, loud music.

Awesome hotel. Great staff. Great rooms. We all loved the wave pool and lazy river. Once you figure out how to navigate going back and forth through the 2 hotels it gets better.
