San Francisco Restaurant Delarosa Sets Its Sights on Palo Alto Expansion | Eater SF

"The Back of the House group is expanding its pizzeria brand into the Stanford Shopping Center by taking over a former California Pizza Kitchen location, according to permit applications pulled by the San Francisco Business Times. This will be the fourth outlet for the pizza concept, which already has spots in the Marina, SoMa, and San Ramon." - Dianne de Guzman

Delarosa – Bishop Ranch (San Ramon, CA) My Honest Experience Delarosa offers high-quality Roman-style pizza, solid cocktails, and a sleek, modern vibe that’s great for a night out or lunch after shopping. The food definitely lived up to the hype—crispy thin-crust pizzas, flavorful small plates like meatballs and bruschetta, and a lively atmosphere. But… 👎 First Impressions Matter Unfortunately, the hostess/reception wasn’t welcoming. We didn’t feel greeted with warmth or respect, which was disappointing, especially at a place that presents itself as stylish and guest-focused. A smile or basic courtesy goes a long way—and that part was clearly missing. ⸻ 🍕 What We Loved: • Prosciutto Pizza: Perfectly crisp, rich flavor without being heavy. • Cocktails: Well-crafted and strong—especially the Marco Polo. • Atmosphere: Trendy, energetic setting with outdoor seating. Great for groups or casual dates. ⸻ 👎 What Could Improve: • Front Desk Attitude: A cold reception can ruin the mood before you’re even seated. • Seating: Mostly high-top or communal tables—not the most comfortable if you’re hoping to relax. ⸻ Would I Go Back? Yes—for the food. But I’d hope the staff, especially up front, could match the quality of what’s coming out of the kitchen.

Delarosa in San Ramon is a gem, especially if you’ve got kids in tow. Conveniently located in City Center Bishop Ranch, it’s the perfect spot to grab dinner and let the little ones play. The outdoor seating is a huge win—right next to the kids’ play area, so parents can relax and still keep an eye out. We ordered the gluten-free Margherita pizza and it did not disappoint—crispy crust, fresh ingredients, full of flavor. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was just as good, rich and satisfying without being too heavy. It’s a great pick for a laid-back evening. Good food, family-friendly vibes, and the option to stroll around the beautiful City Center after dinner make it an easy 5 stars.

Tried Delarosa for the first time and the food was really good. I would love to give a 5 but im just not the 5 girl. I will say they have a unique but delicious menu. Very authentic flavor. The pizza was good. I ordered the penne pasta and asked for it spicy and it did not disappoint. Plenty of meat and flavor. Their meatballs are delicious so good they dont need spaghetti. I forgot to take the picture before we cleaned the plate but they were so good. I captured it on the back end. The crust was good and fresh and flavorful almost buttery and excellent on toppings. The drinks, the desserts, the service was excellent. The service was excellent from Joe the Assistant GM. My team liked the desserts as well. The Italian donuts and the tiramisu were both a hit. They have a full bar and drink menu.

We ate at DelaRosa and it was all delicious!! We spent a lot of time in the courtyard with my aunties, uncle ,cousin, my mom, and brother. It's a really beautiful place to just chill and people watch here. A great place for good vibes and live music. ❤️✨️🤌 Oh yeah, and we got some Boba Guys!!

Google
We absolutely loved our food! Our favorite dishes right now are the beet salad, penne pasta and the fennel sausage pizza! And the steak appetizer! My husband is a very picky eater and they were able to customize his entire order and it came out correctly! Definitely recommend

Google
We had a very disappointing experience with the kids’ pasta at this restaurant. Not only was the quality poor, but we were also shocked to be charged $16 for a basic kids’ meal. When I raised my concerns with the manager, her attitude was rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse. Based on this experience, I would not recommend ordering kids’ food here, and we won’t be returning.

Google
It's been a while since I visited the city center, and I was happy to find Delarosa. It was quiet because it was early and the food was delicious. Especially, fritto di mare pasta was delicious. I strongly recommend you to stop by.

Google
We like our pasta and pizza. The Fritto Misto is good too. The server is very nice and polite.

Yelp
Siew T is exceptional server at Dela Rosa. She is so awesome and very accommodating. I hope to have her again when I come back.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! I've been here a few times now and have never had less than a great experience. Most recently, I came here for an early dinner with a friend on a Tuesday night. We came in at 530pm, no reservation but was seated right away. It was semi busy at that time, but definitely got busier after 6pm. We ordered drinks, the white peach sangria and a margarita - both incredible! We had the fritto misto (calamari) to start, it's one of the best calamari dishes I've had! Our entrees were the penne portobello pasta and the margherita burrata pizza (my mouth is drooling just thinking about it!!). We ended with an affogato and a coppa mela. Our server was great! She provided great recommendations and was patient with us - we kept yapping and took a while to decide what to eat. The ambiance was chill, relaxing and casual. An overall great experience!

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday evening with my friend. We came at 6pm and got seated right away. It started to fill up around 6:30pm. Service and Staff: - Our waitress was helpful with recommendations for dessert and drinks - Food came out pretty quickly (not super fast, but in a good amount of time) Food and Drinks: - Margarita: refreshing and tasty - Margherita Pizza with Burrata: forgot to take a photo of my pizza! The burrata was a really nice touch to the pizza. Pizzas come with 6 slices - Coppa Mela: seasonal dessert. Plenty of nice cream and apple pie bits and pieces (was very full after this) Miscellaneous: - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Plenty of parking available via shared parking lot surrounding the area - Happy hour available until 5:00pm

Yelp
This Delarosa location is in the City Center Bishop Ranch. There is parking in the attached garage or in the lots surrounding this center. We were seated shortly after arriving - not that busy when we stopped by, but we had a reservation just in case anyway. The lighting was a bit weird inside, but not a huge deal. We tried their Grilled Steak and Margherita with burrata (added sausage to it). The steak was not what we expected, but was decent. The pizza was okay - I enjoyed the burrata on it, but the pizza tasted a bit burnt. Overall - decent food, but probably not worth the price point.

Yelp
One of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. My sister recently moved to San Ramon and suggested this spot so we could walk around and shop afterward. I wasn't too excited at first because I wanted Bamboo Sushi, which happened to be directly across from this place. I was outvoted and decided to go with it--I'm sure glad I did! Our server was amazing; she was personable and handled our party of seven graciously, all with a smile. For starters, we ordered two bruschetta appetizers and the crab arancini. Both were excellent--the dipping sauce for the crab made for a perfect match! For some reason, everyone ordered their own personal pizza. I, on the other hand, chose the grilled steak Spiedini skewers. That steak was delectable--melted in my mouth and cooked to perfection! The sides all complemented each other so well; I couldn't be happier. I definitely had a slice of everyone's pizza, but there was no room left for dessert. Overall, it was a fantastic choice for the family! I still think about this place and look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
The panini was my favorite but they stop serving them at 3pm. Thank God we arrived at 2:50! Were sat down immediately and asked to put in the order right away. Staff was very accommodating. I also really enjoyed the sangria and bruschetta! The pizza was good but not necessarily memorable.

Yelp
Got the chicken panini with caesar salad. The bread was crunchy but the chicken was a bit dry. Had to order marinara on the side as a dipping sauce. This is located in the City Center, so parking can get hectic as it gets busy.

Yelp
WARNING! This is our experience during a July 25 Smooth Jazz Series show. Disappointing Experience - Misleading Policies & Poor Event Execution We attended Delarosa yesterday specifically for a special summer Jazz event, having made reservations for a table with the understanding that it required ordering from a $70 prix fixe menu (plus 4% benefits, tax, and 20% gratuity). We were explicitly told beforehand that only two prix fixe orders were required per party, and the rest of the group could order à la carte from the regular menu. Unfortunately, this policy was not honored. Each person in our party was forced to order and pay individually for the prix fixe menu--something we neither expected nor agreed to. We raised our concerns with two different managers, but neither offered any resolution or assistance. Their lack of responsiveness only added to the frustration. To make matters worse, the entire dining experience during the Jazz performance was extremely diminished by poor crowd management. Despite being seated at a reserved table intended for premium views of the show, our view of the stage was completely blocked by non-diners who stood directly in front of the restaurant's tables. This went on for the entirety of the performance. Other patrons around us who also had reserved tables were equally frustrated. Some even had to take matters into their own hands by politely asking the crowd to move, which should have been handled by the business or event security--not by paying guests who had reserved and paid a premium for the experience. Please see attached pics of our bill and crowd which became worse throughout the show. The whole evening felt like a bait-and-switch, with unclear policies, unhelpful staff, and zero regard for customer experience. We could have watched the show for free from the general area without the steep cost and stress! Definitely not worth it and we won't ever be returning even for casual dining!

Yelp
Pizza, Pasta, Points = Delarosa Is a Triple Threat! This Italian gem in Bishop Ranch is an absolute must-visit. Between the brick oven pizzas, homemade pastas, and the fact that it earns you Rakuten points--you've got a triple hitter on your hands! We kicked things off with the arugula salad--light, peppery, and always a solid start. My dad went with the salmon panini, and I gotta admit, it exceeded expectations. He loved it, and it was smoked to perfection. The seafood pasta is a go-to for us (we're seafood lovers through and through), but the real indulgence was the lobster ravioli. That buttery, creamy sauce? Next-level delicious. Yeah, it's on the pricier side, but come on--it's lobster. You know what you're getting into, and it's worth every bite. I think lol. But the Bartender's Pizza--THAT was the showstopper. I think I tried burrata for the first time on that slice of heaven and my mind was blown. That creamy cheese sauce just melted in and took it to another level. We came back for it again... and they were sold out. I was legit heartbroken. It's that good. The ambiance is spacious, open, and plenty of seats. Little Italy here we come. There are plenty of spots around here, but let's be real: we go where the points are--and Delarosa delivers on food and flavor. Bookmark this one.

Yelp
I already knew and loved delarosa from having been to one of the locations in SF a couple times. My brother and I came in for lunch right when they opened so we had the place to ourselves. We sat at the bar and got some foccacia to start. My brother got a pasta dish and I opted to build my own pizza. I was gonna keep it simple with pepperoni, but last minute I decided to add burrata because you know... burrata. While I'd rather more toppings than less, the amount of burrata was insane on this pizza. It was tasty but it was like burrata soup. The mess it made was almost comical, but I will say it was still delicious.

Yelp
Solid pizza place with beer selection right on the edge of the play area at Bishop Ranch City Center. Perfect to grab a pizza with friends and catch up while watching your kiddos run around on the splash pad or grassy knoll area. Food is great and the service is solid. Prices are definitely a bit on the higher side, but not unreasonable. Pizza selection is great - the prosciutto pizza was solid and recommended. If the weather is nice, seating outside is perfect and relaxing. Plenty of indoor space as well if you're looking for a more quiet/secluded area to catch up w/ friends and family. Recommended.

Yelp
I wanted to try some place that I haven't been eaten at the Bishop Ranch Center. This was one of a couple that made the short list. I had the pappardelle with ice tea. The drink came first followed shortly the pasta. The tomato sauce had the tangy tomato flavor but I found the pasta a bit short of al dente. Other this dish was good. The server was friendly and pleasant but his attention was divided by a number of diners he was supported. For my first visit, it was a pleasant experience surrounded by nice warm weather sitting on an outside table.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for Happy Hour! Not too bad. They had a limited selection of drinks and small bites (perfect for 2 people sharing but you have to get a couple of things): We ordered: Calamari - small portion and was pretty good. Fried Cauliflower - yummy and flavorful Burrata - two pieces of toast. It's was okay. Sangria was good! Service was easy and breezy. It was nice to sit outside because the weather was spring like.

Yelp
First time trying this place and we're absolutely satisfied. We also ordered Fritto Misto but didn't get to take a picture. It was good but a little too salty for me and my husband thus I gave 4 stars. The pasta was heaven! One of the greatest pasta I've had. I'm very picky with pasta and this is the absolute best. The steak skewer is also great. My husband loved it. I love the flavor of it. Something different and vibrant. The service was also quick and our server is very sweet and attentive to us. Will definitely go back and recommend this place! We need to try more of their food menu. The ambience of the place is nice, cozy but it was really cold inside. We didn't mind it.

Yelp
Delarosa is always a favorite spot for us! Eddie behind the bar is the best--super fast, attentive, and just all-around awesome. Their pizzas are amazing (the gluten-free crust is actually one of the best I've ever had). Service is crazy quick--food comes out in no time, and it's always fresh and delicious. The whole team here is friendly and on top of things, and the vibe is super welcoming. Also very family-friendly, which makes it an easy choice when we bring the kids. Love this place!

Ham R.

Yelp
Stopped by Delarosa in San Ramon for happy hour and had a great time. Ambiance was pretty chill and low key. We ordered the margarita pizza--crispy, perfectly charred crust with just the right balance of sauce and cheese... and the bruschetta, which was pretty good. The drinks were the real highlight. Big, big shout out to Eddie, the bartender, who absolutely nailed the best Old Fashioned I've had in a long time. Thank you, Eddie! We'll back for the old fashions, real soon, cheers!

Yelp
Great food and service! Eddie is awesome!! Definitely missed a classic hangout spot like this having moved to the East Coast from San Francisco several years ago.
google avatar

Jane K.

Yelp
Came here as it was recommended by Rakuten for in dining points. 5x the points was a no brainer especially with an Amex gold card at 4x. So lunch was worth 9x points. We've been going to places that benefit double dipping on the points. If you're gonna eat, it might as well give you tons of points and use those for traveling! This place was a hit! Great Italian and even better pizza! The bartenders pizza was the showstopper. The chilis and that creamy white sauce was omg! Service was great! Food came out pretty quick! And the ambiance was a nice chill and relaxing vibe. Dinner scored us a 1000 points. We'll def be coming back here!

Yelp
First time coming to Delarosa in San Ramon! The food was amazing and thankfully you can customize some of the menu items to be made vegan (they also have some vegan made items too!). We ordered the ravioli, and two bartender pizzas with one made vegan subbing the sausage and cheese. We also had the garlic bread without the cheese and olives. Everything was great and the service was 10/10! Karen was our server and she was super friendly. Jae was the hostess and she helped bring the food out and was super friendly. Will definitely be back.

jacqueline s.

Yelp
I ate there today for lunch and the food was amazing! Our server Eddie was really attentive and suggested some foods we should try. There was no music but I didn't notice it until it was pointed out frankly I think it made the experience perfect for talking with my friend. I will come back!
google avatar

Jillian N.

Yelp
First time here and only came for apps! Seating on a Wednesday evening was quick. The staff were attentive and nice, had no issues. I tried the calamari which was good! The sauces it came with were also a good addition (although I got carried away and didn't even think to look or ask what the sauces were!) The broccolini was my favorite! It was perfectly cooked and had the best garlic taste. The cauliflower was also delicious! Can't go wrong with any of those apps!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Based on 1 lunch visit: Not bad! Not the best I've ever had. Fine if you're in the area, hungry, and need to find a spot right away. Caesar salad was just ok. Lacking flavor. Pizza was fine. Arancini was good. No "wow" factor for me. But ambience was nice. Felt clean. Very family friendly. Good service.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
The service was great and all the recommendations our waiter Eddie made were so on point! Definitely great place to hang out with your kids while they play and eat at The Lot!
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Unfortunately, we had a truly disturbing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a Caesar salad and a pizza. Halfway through eating the salad, I noticed a live caterpillar crawling on my lettuce. I was so sickened I had to run to the bathroom and vomit. I immediately informed the waiter, who promptly removed the plate. He spoke with the manager, but it took her over 10 minutes to come to our table--and only after I asked for her. There was no apology until I directly requested one, and no real effort to make the situation right. Her explanation? "Everything is organic, and I guess it just wasn't washed well enough." That response was not only dismissive, it was unacceptable. Bottom line: This place is dirty, careless, and clearly does not prioritize the health or experience of its customers. Don't waste your hard-earned money here.
google avatar

Joanne C.

Yelp
Used to be a good place for Happy Hour. Unfortunately, the Happy Hour menu was significantly reduced. There is a specific section for Happy Hour dining, and while there were only 2 occupied tables, and a couple at the bar, we had to wait quite some time for our order to be taken; service was slow and I wasn't sure if we had a designated waiter, or if the bar tender was our waiter.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
Great service. Went for my daughter's 13 birthday. This was my first time. I got a pizza, I don't remember the name. It had artichoke hearts, red peppers and ham. I added burrata, just for added taste. The crust had a nice char with a bit of flop. Some of the artichokes were undercooked, had to take them off. They gave a free tiramisu for the birthday girl, nice touch. Ambiance is rather plain but the open kitchen, to watch chefs cook, is fun. They also have a bar and a few TVs. I'll be back.

Yelp
I've been to Delarosa a handful of times and really enjoy the location, pizza and ambiance. The store has lovely indoor and outdoor seating and it located in the interior courtyard of the bishop ranch mall. It's got a prime location at a corner location facing the courtyard. The interiors of the restaurant is modern and chic. And the outdoor seating is lovely and great to people watch and enjoy the lovely weather. I've tried a few of their pizzas. The Funghi Misti is a mushroom one that has great umami flavor. it's got a variety of mushrooms and onions on it. The crust of the pizzas are amazing. It's so thin and got perfect crisp on it. The fennel sausage pizza is decent too. Today we tried the bartender special which was a spicy marinara with calabrian chilis, sausage and burrata. This is my least favorite one so far. It was way too salty and not enough flavors to balance out the salty and heat. It needed some acidity to cut thru the flavors. Service is decent. I don't think it's ever been amazing or bad. Overall i do like to come here. It's kid friendly and casual but still nice. I'd highly recommend it!
google avatar

Sylvia K.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and there was no wait. Not many ppl there and there was outdoor dining as well but it was a bit hot lately. We got the prosciutto di Parma pizza. Lots of arugula. If you don't like arugula , don't get it. I think it's a bit overwhelming. My friends got the grilled steak and Penne. They look a bit small for the price. I would give it a 3.5 star but rounded up since the service and the place was quite good to have chats with friends !
google avatar

Jeremy D.

Yelp
Yay I checked off another restaurant on my trying every restaurant at the city center list. Delarosa is located right in the center of the city center, perfect spot to sit outside and people watch. The menu is fairly small in my opinion but there's salad, appetizers, panini during lunch, and pizza. Their alcohol list was just as long as their food menu. We ordered: - Brussels sprouts - interesting, first time having Brussels sprouts served this way - individual pieces were coated in buttermilk batter and then fried. - pizza - thin crispy crust. The bartender's special is actually spicy! - penne pasta - flavorful and well sauced. Could use more mushrooms though Considering that Fieldwork is around the corner, I'd say that their pizza is very similar from what I recall. Nonetheless, I would return and looking forward for happy hour prices instead next time.

Yelp
Oct 2024 - lunch drinks review Server - promptly seated us and gave us great recommendations ! Got the bruscheta appetizer with our drinks and it was yum ! - our server recommended us to use a pinch of the chili flakes on the appetizer and that was a game changer Drinks were potent :) - just like we like them !

Yelp
Jae is amazing and her service is impeccable! She also complimented my shirt :) food is great too

Yelp
A Warm Welcome That Made My Whole Night This was a few weeks ago but the moment I walked into Delarosa, I felt like more than just a guest--I felt like family. This was thanks to the incredible hostess (Nina) who went so far above and beyond. Nina was warm, attentive, and sincerely welcoming from the second I stepped in. She greeted me with such genuine kindness, communicated clearly with updates about our table, and checked in often to make sure I was comfortable while waiting. Service here is usually always good but her energy set the tone for the entire evening. My family and I had a wonderful experience both with service and food, and look forward to dining here more!

Yelp
As big fans of the Delarosa locations in San Francisco, we thought it'd be fun to try their Bishop Ranch restaurant while in the neighborhood. Like its city counterparts, it didn't disappoint. The service was friendly and fast within an airy and bright dining area--a cut above the SF dining rooms which are both a little cramped. Meanwhile, the beet salad is a reliable winner with complementary flavors and textures that is always satisfying. There are a few tweaks that would make it a five star dish--roast the beets a little longer, higher ratio of cheese to greens, chop the kale more finely--but all in all, it's a salad I return frequently and happily.

Yelp
This is a great location with excellent service. It's great for people watching if that's your thing. I sat outside and the server was kind enough to offer water for Marley (my pyrador pup). The Lot has a futuristic feel and this restaurant continues the theme. This restaurant serves quality food. I see wonderful looking dishes around us. Unfortunately I must have ordered wrongly. My fennel sausage pizza with mushrooms is very soggy in the middle. Taste is adequate but I had to roll up my pizza like a New Yorker to eat the slice. The arugula salad is a bit plain and quite small for what we thought was a "large" order. We added avocado $3 and it was about 1/4 avocado. You would think I wouldn't come back, but I just love the ambiance. I'm going to try other dishes. Maybe even another pizza. And next time I'll actually read the Yelp reviews before I order.

Jasleen D.

Yelp
I come here almost every month and it's so good every time. I recently had Siew and she was so nice and her service was great! Food came out super quick and so yummy. I can't wait to come back and eat again :)

Yelp
Exactly was one of the better pizza I had in a while. Service was very friendly. Food was brought to us quick and not cold. Perfect for A simple meal before heading to the movie theater which is only walk away upstairs. These crab cake balls were Ok. Probably something I won't get again.

Yelp
DelaRosa offers a promising menu with some enjoyable highlights, but a few areas could use refinement. On our recent visit, we sampled the ravioli, kale Caesar salad, and the Bartender pizza. Overall, the food landed around a 7/10, demonstrating good potential. The ravioli, while decent, scored a 7/10. It was a satisfactory dish, but didn't particularly stand out. The kale Caesar salad, unfortunately, was a bit of a miss at 6/10. It lacked the vibrant flavors and crispness one hopes for in a good Caesar. The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the Bartender pizza. This pie delivered a delightful kick and excellent flavor, earning a solid 8/10. While the culinary aspects had their moments, the service was a notable letdown. We found ourselves actively searching for our server just to settle the bill, which detracted from the overall dining experience. A significant point of concern, especially given DelaRosa's location in a family-centric area, is the extremely limited kids' menu. With so many families around, expanding these options would be a wise move, making the restaurant more appealing and accessible to a wider demographic. In conclusion, Dela Rosa has the ingredients for a good meal, particularly with their pizzas. However, improvements in service and a much-needed expansion of the kids' menu would elevate the experience considerably.

Yelp
I loved coming to Delarosa --their food was delicious. I actually met up with my friend here for drinks and some food and ended up coming back the next day because I was craving the pizza again LOL. Located in the City Center Bishop Ranch at San Ramon, this is such a fun and lively space to catch up with friends. The orange and elevated decor provides a modern and clean feel. I think the price point for food is mostly reasonable and affordable as well. FOOD - prosciutto de Parma pizza: 9/10 arugula was a nice touch, but the second day I ordered it was quite salty - caprese: 10/10 very fresh - broccolini: 9/10 lots of butter, very soft, could've used more salt - calamari: 9/10 was a little soggy and not crispy DRINKS - The Monarch: 10/10 perfect amount of sweetness - Marco Polo: 10/10 perfect amount of sweetness My only feedback: on the first day I came with my friend our server was super attentive, friendly, and personable. The next day when I came back, my server was amazing but I felt ignored by the hostess. I stood in line for a few minutes behind a party of 5 while I waited for her to get them situated, but after she came back she attended to the people who lined up behind me.... Twice. I felt ignored. I'm wondering if it's because I was significantly younger than everybody behind me or maybe because I'm POC and everyone after me was Caucasian.... I really don't want to believe that case but I was clearly there for a couple minutes before people started lining up after me.

Yelp
Delarosa is a spacious, family-friendly restaurant with a great view of the central lawn at Center City Bishop Ranch. From the Italian-inspired menu, we started with the Roasted Beet Salad, a simple mixture of red, gold and striped beets, kale, avocado, farro, almonds, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. My favorite appetizer was the Meatballs, two large beef meatballs served in a delicious marinara sauce and with two slices of grilled sourdough. Their popular Neapolitan-style pizzas included Funghi Misti, made of assorted mushrooms, fontina, red onion, and garlic oil; and the Bartender's Special, topped with spicy marinara, creamy burrata, fennel sausage, spicy calabrese chilies, and salty chopped olives. But my favorite entree was the lunchtime Smoked Salmon Panini, a ciabatta bread sandwich with a filling of smoked salmon, heirloom tomato, cucumber, pickled red onion, goat cheese, and caper aioli, served with a side of kale Caesar salad. The salty smoked salmon paired nicely with the tangy goat cheese and the refreshing tomatoes and veggies, making for a tasty sandwich!

Yelp
Been here a couple of times when we busted bishop ranch mall, this restaurant is located inside the mall, decent ambiance and quick service, tried the crab cake, garlic bread and a couple of pastas.i found the kids meal a bit pricey but it's justified given they are in the mall. Overall decent place, I didn't think any dish stood out for me but it's okay to grab a bite when you are in the mall

Yelp
If you want a casual place to drop in to eat, this is a good one. The penne mushroom was a perfect comfort food with a nice glass of prosecco. Saw the pizzas so kids would be happy if you need that. The only drawback is how the seating is. It's family style but you sit on a cube. Not the most comfortable or convenient. Service was ok. Did the deed and ready to hang out more.

Yelp
Had a great experience and great food today. Wife and I split the steak skewersn prosciutto pizza, and tiramisu for lunch while listening to the SF Opera. Our server's name was Eddie - great guy! He was attentive and helpful and incredibly friendly.

Yelp
Love how Delarosa really fits the vibe of the whole plaza! [Margherita pizza with burrata] The pizza was 6 slices and a good size so that you could finish it in one sitting or save 1-2 slices for later! But, it tasted so good, I didn't want to stop! I haven't had pizza with burrata cheese before, but this made me really want to try the cheese in everything now. The cheese had a light flavor that didn't come off too strong that had a nice saltiness. It had more of a soft, runny texture which the pizza dough held up well. It was really thin crust, so even with the large amount of cheese on it, you didn't feel too full. Overall, it was definitely a nicer quality pizza than you'd get it at other chains, which accounts into its cost ~$20 total. I'd go here for a fun lunch or dinner with friends!

Yelp
good experience here with a large family group. menu is straightforward with decent options (for gluten free folks there is GF crust for pizza available). food was good. service was straightforward. lots of community style dining in addition to individual tables which I don't mind.

Yelp
First time trying the PAPPARDELLE NAPOLETANA. Pasta almost tastes fresh, but possibly frozen since it clumped together heavily. Sauce is savory and semi hearty. Not sure why there was penne mixed in with my pappardelle. It made me think 1 of 2 things: The incorrect pasta was used and then the cook haphazardly took some out and replaced it with the correct pasta. Or They ran out of enough pappardelle and tossed in some penne? Either way, very little care put into my dish. I would order this again IN the restaurant, because maybe take-out isn't their thing.

Yelp
02/14/2025: Valentine's Day lunch with my Valentine. We shared the Fritto Misto and the Prosciutto de Parma pizza. I had a lime Italian Soda and my husband had 2 Correttos (grappa spiked espresso). Food was delicious and service was very good.

Yelp
(Note: we usually come here with our toddlers) Delarosa is unbelievably consistent and fast. This is great when the kids are super hungry, and the parents need some good food too. Their pizzas are seasoned well and have a nice thin, chewy crust. Salads taste fresh. Service is nice and very accommodating for kids. Nice outdoor and indoor seating options. I mentioned already but the food comes out blazing fast and hot without seeming like it's made carelessly or microwaved/sitting around. Just a reliable spot that hasn't given us any issues.
