Yelp
First time eating at a Delarosa, and it did not disappoint. Our server navigated us through the menu and made some great suggestions. We were a party of 3, and started off with the eggplant caponatina w/ burrata, and an order of meatballs. The meatballs were nice and savory, and came in a pair, so we added an extra piece. Pro tip, ask for an extra side of crostinis so you can make your own meatball slider. We also got a small golden beet and goat cheese salad. I'm a sucker for a beet salad and this hit the spot. For our second course, we got the crab arancini and steak skewer. The skewer was brushed in a green sauce similar to chimichurri and came with some potatoes. It was savory and herbaceous. We did pizza and pasta for our third course. The Parpadelle just might be my new favorite pasta. It came with a slow cooked pork red sauce. We decided to do one red and one white pizza. For the white, we did the fungi pizza, and added prosciutto to it. So much umami and earthiness, we loved it. For the red, we did the bartender pizza, and added mushrooms. I honestly could have done more spice on this once, but it was tasty. I forgot to mention the drinks!!! I started with a salty dog which was a greyhound-esc cocktail that I could not get enough of. My partner got the Hugo spritz, and our friend ordered the Diablo. They let me have a sip, and all three were bangers. For our entree, we shared two glasses of red, but I can't remember what it was called. Our server said it was an Italian equivalent to a Pinot Noir. We finished with a tiramisu and bombolini. The bombolini were two donuts that came with a crème anglaise and chocolate sauce. This was so light and fluffy, it was perfect. And the tiramisu was the most moist little cake I've ever had. Overall I loved the service, the food, and the vibes of the restaurant. They were playing great music, and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Definitely make a reservation for this place, so you can get a seat inside. Great job Delarosa team!

Yelp
Visited Delarosa not realizing it was opening night. I used to go to the city location in my younger years, so it was fun to have dinner there with my kids! Quality is still really good. We had: - The eggplant caponatina (I forgot to order it with cheese but it was still delicious) -The fried calamari w/ shishito peppers. The batter was light and crispy and the aioli was tasty. -The garlic prawns were buttery and so yummy. - - Chicken skewer sat on top of delicious beans and pancetta. So flavorful and hearty. The chicken was very tender. - My daughter loves Caesar salad, so we had to get it. It did not disappoint and she pretty much ate the whole plate. - I tried the El Diablo cocktail. I was too busy enjoying it that I forgot to snap a pic. - Ended our meal with some Bombolonis. They were served with a chocolate sauce and vanilla cream. There are so many other dishes I want to try next time! Service was nice and efficient. My server Tony checked in on us frequently and the bussers were good about clearing our plates. What a great addition to the mall. Super family friendly and they have a kid's menu too. I am very happy they are open closer to home!

Yelp
For having just opened, this spot is doing great. Went here with some friends on opening night who were so excited- they love the SF location. While they're still working out some kinks- timing, knowing the menu, etc., the service was great. There were a couple of small mistakes, but they were all addressed in a kind manner. Appreciated that! The food here is ON POINT. Delicious. The group ordered: Ricotta bruschetta Beet salad Meatballs Hanger steak spiedini Ziti chicken parmigiana Margherita with burrata pizza Each dish was executed perfectly- came out quickly, cooked well, and delicious. We did not have a bad bite. Pro tip: save some meatball to add to the pizza. Thank me later.

Yelp
Only second day open and the service and food were outstanding!!!! My friend and I shared a Caesar salad. Delish! I had a pizza with sausage. Quite possibly one of the best pizzas I've had. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The crust was perfect. The sausage was just the right spicy. Prices were very reasonable considering how $$ it is to eat out these days. My only area for improvement, the ambiance was a bit boring. It is in the old CA Pizza Kitchen location and looks very similar. The service was great!!!!! Highly highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Extremely impressed with Delarosa! After a handful of disappointing new restaurant additions to Stanford, this one finally makes sense! Delarosa is a perfect casual but trendy dining spot, appropriate at any time of day- between shopping, after shopping, or just for dinner. Great ambiance, design, finishes, staff, and food! We can't wait to come back in a few weeks and try it again. We got 3 food items: Spicy rigatoncini: perfect texture, could use way more spice (we tasted no spice at all), great portion size. Margarita pizza +anchovie: delicious but cheese was sliding off, this was easier to eat folded in half, hot dog style! Tomato sauce was great, basil was fresh. Prosciutto and Burratta appetizer: the highlight! The gnocco fritto is a fried dough, similar to Terun's frittelle- it's great but a little tough. Burratta was nicely seasoned, and pickled onions were a great addition. Prices were fair- no complaints! -------- Room for improvement: -Staff still needs time to familiarize themselves with the menu. This is expected from a soft opening, but it matters. -Mocktails and NA options are SLIM!! I was limited to coke diet coke, soda water, one mocktail, and 2 brands of nonalcoholic beer... and water. -Timing needs improvement but it's expected from a soft opening. Our app and pasta arrived super quick (Yay!) but pizza had to be checked on. -Niche but their oil and vinegar are not the best quality- they are very watery and color seems diluted. Would love to have a better option one day.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night for an early dinner. The seating was nice and condusive for our two kids. They had high chair as well. We ordered a pizza, pasta and a child's cheese pizza. The kids loved the food! They ate without us having to prod them to eat, which is a testament to how good the food is. Kids menu pizza is also a great deal as it was only 10$ for almost the same size pizza as the adult one. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
The winter salad was a perfect blend of chicory lettuce, roasted butternut squash, pecans, apples and the right amount of delicious dressing. I also had the vegetable lasagna which was also light and low in sodium. The service was lovely and the ambiance minimalistic. Looking forward to trying their happy hour and pizza. Enjoy

Yelp
Just visited the brand new Delarosa Stanford, and wow this place is exactly what the area needed. The space is gorgeous, modern, and full of energy without feeling overwhelming. You can tell they put real thought into the design and flow. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel taken care of. Warm welcome at the door, attentive service throughout, and the pacing was spot on impressive for a brand new opening. We ordered a mix of classics and new dishes, and everything was delicious. The pizzas are perfectly crisp, the pastas are fresh and full of flavor, and the cocktails were balanced and creative. You can taste the quality in every dish. Super excited to have this location in the neighborhood. Whether it's a casual lunch, date night, or drinks with friends, this is definitely going to be one of the go to spots at Stanford Shopping Center. Highly recommend checking it out it's going to be a hit.

Yelp
I don't know, I don't expect to have any memories of my experience here (as I did for the one in the Marina, but haven't had the chance to go back for a few years now). Margherita Pizza was good, crust great and flavorful by itself. Rigatoncini was a perfect al dente, maybe a tad beyond Al dente, but I enjoy al dente so not an issue for me. Sauce was a little bland, pancetta was plenty, almost unbalanced when compared to the dish as a whole. portion feels little, i want to say the price feels in par, but i actually feel like the quality doesn't make up for anything lacking. It was only maybe 20% larger than my kids' child menu pasta. Caesar salad was.... Inconsistent with other experiences reviewed here. The large size was a let down, $16 for a salad where the heart was still in tact with 4 layers of leaves?? Also the size of the cuts of leaves... felt like a toddler puzzle where the pieces are different sized for them to learn. Service was, well, he tried hard but he needed more training. And our pizza came way later after everything, and came to us no longer warm... I feel like overall it's a mall version of doppio zero. But I do realize I am coming in with the wrong expectations, it's a mall restaurant!!! So, it feels a proper 4stars, as I don't drink alcohol and I do see the entire back side of the food menu being full of drinks. I know they have just opened so it can only get better from here!

Yelp
Great experience! We went in on the second day of opening for dinner. We ordered the meatballs and spicy soppressata along with Brussel Sprouts. We truly enjoyed the meal. We delighted ourselves with flourless molten chocolate cake. Shout out to our server Randy for making the experience memorable and introducing us to Samantha the manager. Highly recommend trying during this festive season! The ambiance was warm and inviting!

Yelp
The food is excellent. Very fresh and the meatballs are a bit spicy. The way I love them. The winter salad was also so fresh and had lots of good ingredients in it. I am happy I don't have to go to San Francisco now to enjoy Delarosa!! And the service is very good too

Yelp
I gotta say, Delarosa delivers again! I'm huge fan of the San Francisco locations and was pleasantly surprised to see the new location at the Stanford Shopping Center. True to from the portions are generous without being heavy. And the pizzas? Thin, crisp Roman-style pies with bold toppings and perfectly blistered edges. My go to is the Bartender Special. The new Delarosa at Stanford Shopping Center elevates the whole experience even further. The space has a beautiful modern aesthetic, clean lines, warm textures, a bright open feel and the generous patio makes it an ideal spot for sunny lunches, laid-back afternoons, and relaxed dinners. Whether you're here for a quick drink at the bar or settling in for a full meal, Delarosa nails that blend of creativity and comfort. Can't wait to return a for a bacca spritz and meatballs. Always a favorite.

Yelp
Great addition to the Stanford Mall. I love this place in the city and so happy to see it here. Pizzas are always delicious and my favorite combo -Papardelle with pork sugo and Caesar salad- is better than ever. Cute bar vibe with a full list of specialty cocktails, wine, beer and amaro... yes! Our server was so nice and helpful. Came here with my 3-year old and they made her feel comfortable with smiles, kid menu and a high chair. Finishing the meal with a coppa fiore di latte ice cream bowl was a must, for me and the kiddo. Then off to a little mall browsing. All in all, coming back for a date with my wife or with friends next time we're in the neighborhood for sure!

Yelp
Love thin crust pizza, and fresh seasonal salads. Prawns and meatballs apps were flavorful. Great cocktails. Food came out fast (great for my 5 year old).

Yelp
Great service and solid menu. The salads were delicious, particularly the winter salad, the cocktails were smooth (recommend the Marco Polo), and pizzas tasted great. We will definitely be back to Delarosa PA!
