The 15 Best New Restaurants In Paris

"If you need proof that Parisians crave more than wine and cheese, you’ll find it in a quiet corner of the 11th arrondissement. Join the crowds of young locals congregating outside and book a table at this Indian hotspot, where a filling meal probably won’t cost more than €20 per person. The menu is divided by portion size, and while you could easily stick with the chaats like dahi puri smothered in spicy yogurt and chutney, you’d be missing out on larger plates like creamy chicken korma and spicy lamb. Whatever you do, don’t skip the cardamom soft serve sundae. The cocktail menu also includes booze-free drinks, like the Mai Lassi Tai with pineapple juice and a hint of lime." - sara lieberman, lindsey tramuta

Decent butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, plain naan, briyani rice. Lack depth though - like only tasted tomato for butter chicken, it was more like italian creamy tomato sauce. Good to satisfy Indian food craving. Cheerful, friendly service. Nice setting, decent pricing.

One thing from Bucket list in Paris, checked ! This place does thousand percent justice to the Indian cuisine. Service: excellent. Presentation: excellent (sure it can get crowded at times due to it popularity). All dishes I tried were on mark: pav bhaji, vada pav, palak paneer & Mahua. I'd highly recommend Mahua (either neat or a cocktail).

Such a beautiful atmosphere and reasonable prices for all the dishes. Unlike some Indian restaurants that are overpriced. They have authentic taste to their starters. I was a little weirded out when my butter chicken came with curry leaves.. 😅 which was not what I was expecting but the portions were good, the chicken were very well cooked and soft. Also, thinking that the last page of the drink menu were cocktails we ended up with straight up rhum and vodka.. maybe for next time we ask before making the order. But Will definitely be coming back again.

Really stylish interior, great service and super friendly staff. A really nice range of dishes which were good, but it’s just a shame that they’ve been adapted to French palates because even the “spicy” vindaloo wasn’t particularly hot. Otherwise, would definitely recommend!

Delhi Bazaar is a true gem! Incredibly kind and attentive service, gorgeous and fun atmosphere and delicious Indian cuisine and Indian-inspired drinks at fair prices. We didn’t have a reservation but we were welcomed at the bar in no time. We loved the panipuri and the chicken 65, both of which were seasoned to perfection. The mango lassi was the perfect texture and flavour. To finish, we had the cardamom sundae, which was super fresh and a great way to end the meal. I wish it tasted more of cardamom but it was great nonetheless!

Delicious Indian food with cool ambiance the design of the restaurant was fun and modern. Each plate was great with a twist on the traditional.

Food was good, like the major ones was amazing. Even as an Indian I can vouch for the quality of butter chicken, naan, biryani was as good as possible. But some dishes like chicken 65, and kebab were okayish. Chicken 65, is particularly strange since it's quite an easy dish to make. We had to wait for over an hour to get food, it was frustrating. We were told we would be given free dessert as a " sorry" , so we ordered desserts even if we didn't really want it, but in the end they kinda ate their words and made us pay for desserts too... Poor service in general !! But the food and interior was as good as you can get for an Indian restaurant in Paris. So that saved the day !!

Delhi Bazaar is a great restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere and excellent, friendly service that makes you feel welcome from the start. However, the food fell short of expectations, lacking the bold Indian spices that could have made it a truly phenomenal experience. That said, it’s still a good spot to enjoy a meal, and the popularity speaks for itself—be sure to make reservations as it gets packed quickly!
