The food here is amazing! Authentic Colombian dishes. I happened to opt for a smaller appetizer did and small salad today. The Shrimp/Camarones Grilled Quesadilla was above and beyond. Light and very flavorful and packed with grilled shrimp, enveloped in a spinach house sauce which is unique and topped with melted cheese. Everything is well proportioned so you taste all the ingredient flavors without one ingredient overpowering the other. I thought this was Amazing! The house salad has a homemade dressing that was light and bursting with flavor. I added avocado on top and both dishes satisfied my evening dinner encounter. This is one place you don’t want to miss for authentic Colombian food at a reasonable price in Jax. The music is from the islands in Spanish, yet not loud, allowing for pleasant conversation with screaming. John is a great host and made some great suggestions. The quesadilla’s are the most delicious quesadillas I’ve ever tasted in my life!! They were not only very good but exquisite! A must try!

Angie, our server did a great job. My wife and I ate here last year and we had to return to enjoy this great beef soup. Of course the bowl was filled but I was late taking the picture. Very tasty food and very fresh.

They give you one plantain, they cut it in half, but they charge you for the price. The rice, which is supposed to be yellow is orange

Loved both the red snapper and the beef soup! The Red Snapper: beautifully fried, crunchy skin and delicate meat...full of flavor. The Beef Soup: clear stock with very good taste and just enough veggies. I chose to pour into the soup the rice, slaw and avocado slices that came as side dish...very nice! Add some hot sauce from the house to kick all flavors up! 😋 Last but not least, very attentive crew! And great prices. Recommended!

This place has forgotten what a good tasting Colombian pan de bono is supposed to be... this is dry and tastes like flour instead of the cheesy hot delicious creation you can get at a good Colombian Bakery. Owners are fortunate that none in the area can deliver a good one...

Amazing colombian food. Got the bandeja paisa and everything was delicious. We also got chicken and beef empanadas and grilled chicken plate. Service was good and everything was warm and just like we remember from the Colombian places we used to eat back when we lived in sofla. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Checked into the Delicias Ice Cream and Coffee. They have an array of pastries , ice cream and Colombian foods to choose from. Just a couple of doors down from the restaurant. Fast and easy to get in and get out or you can dine in. The staff is friendly. I tried the chicharron and beef empanadas. The Chicharron were huge , tasty and delicious. The empanadas weee hot and fresh.

When it comes to Colombian food, this is the place to come. The bandeja paisa it's just perfect. La picadera as aperizer for a big group is huge plus.

The soup and the entire meal were very well done and tasty! The pork any steak were complimentary to each other. The cuts of beef in the soup enhanced the meal. The highlight of the meal was really the Soursop drink. The staff especially Marianna was pleasant, professional and well mannered. This was a great experience!

I was craving some Colombian food last night and decided to go with my husband to Delicias Colombianas for dinner last night! It was delicious! My son loves arepas and we ordered him one and my husband and I had an empantanad and tostones for an appetizer. He ordered a loaded Colombian hotdog which had sweet cold slaw, bacon and pieces of han fries on the side and I ordered breaded chicken meal which came with white rice, beans, sweet plantains and a side salad. The food tasted amazing! Service was quick and extremely affordable. I highly recommend :)

The food is always great here! Only thing I'd recommend is them to enhance the arepas. The last few times I've purchased Bandeja Paisa, the arepas fall apart and taste like water. As for the service, it's always great! Feels like home away from home. The ambiance of this restaurant makes you feel like it's your other family. Good food and good people.

We enjoyed our brunch here on Saturday! The steak was delicious and we enjoyed the passion fruit drinks as well.

Just solid Colombian food. We got several plates but the stand out order was the Toston con Todo. Good service, good food, what else do you want?

No tengo idea que le paso a este lugar. Esta horrible, el servicio esta ok, nada especial es como el trato de una cafeteria de segunda. Lo que si me dejo mal fue la comida. Pedí un churrasco y el chimichurri por Dios parecia qué una vaca había masticado el perejil lo lo escupió en la copa, nada de aceite, ajo nada. El ají para las empanadas un horror , yo solía comprarlo par llevar luego de comer allí pero ahora esta tan malo que no pude ponerle a mi empanada. Nota: Para las camareras, en un restaurante por respeto si atiendes una pareja te dirijes la mujer y la atiendes a ella primero, sentido comun sean sutiles y tendrán mejor propina. Definitivamente que les paso , que les paso.

If I can give this place zero stars I would.. my evening dinner was supposed to be a wonderful night with my family and it was ruined thanks to the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! The waitresses here are extremely rude!!!!! And condescending not only did they drop our food twice we were called losers to our face for their own mistakes! Unbelievable honestly. So expensive on top of that and for terrible service do better!! Train your servers not to be moody.

My husband and I always split the Bandeja Paisa, because there's so much food. It was delicious and plenty for two to eat. We also tried the meat empanadas and they were excellent, smaller in size, but they were legit. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone interested in great Colombian food.

I wish there was a half star rating because I feel this is a solid 3.5 but to err on the side of caution for the next patron, giving this a 3. We've passed by multiple times and were in the mood for Latinx food so we decided to give Delicias a try. There was decent parking and the place looked clean but a little in need of cosmetic updating. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and could explain tastes to someone who hasn't had a lot of Columbian food. The food was more warm than hot but tasted good. They could benefit from stepping up the game on plate presentation. We got an appetizer and meals and were stuffed to the brim when we left. Wasn't bad overall. I wouldn't go out of my way to get back here but I would give this place another try.

Excellent empanadas colombianas made of corn instead of flour and filled with ground beef, chicken, and white cheese. It comes with 2 different types of dipping sauces. Honestly, I didn't care for either; one was mayo ketchup, and the other was like salsa. I prefer chimichurri or homemade hot sauce. I also had tostones topped with guacamole and shredded beef. I was not too fond of the sauce for the meat; it got overwhelming after the first toston. It was like too much tomato paste. Generous portions, excellent presentation, friendly service (I mean, you cannot expect anything less of Colombian servers) Ohhhhh I almost forgot the guanábana juice that I inhaled in 3 long sips (long daydream pause here) Back to reality :( If my experience were only the tostones meal, I would've given it 3 stars, but the service, juice, and empanadas were too good, so they get 4. You should definitely stop by when in the area. I'm glad I did.

This place is always full but nothing like last Sunday when we walked in I thought they had some special event or something. Wow, well that was not the case, we were quickly seated so there was no issue at all. I had to get the empanadas as usual but decided to try the cheese ones as well, omg they were outstanding. It was nice seeing people from all backgrounds in here it's like the United Nations of restaurants. It's also nice to see people that have no Latin background at all enjoying our flavors. Keep it up Delicias!

This was my second visit to this restaurant. Similar to the first time I stopped by, the staff was nice and friendly. The wait for the food wasn't too bad either. I decided to eat inside of the restaurant this time instead of carry out. I found it interesting that I received less food (chicken) than I did when I got take out. Not a deal breaker at all but something that caught my eye. Solid place to stop for your Colombian food cravings.

*Edit .... they have redeemed themselves and earned my five stars again. It's hard to get delivery to taste as fresh as it would be if eaten in the restaurant. I am not sure if they have a new chef but today's delivery of empanadas, chicharron and yucca fries were all on point! Very fresh and crispy!!! Thank you for your services and expertise!!!!! Please don't tell me that you are the restaurant manager that over priced and mixed up my order ..... I go to a small restaurant.... yes .... they do t like "others" .... however .... they do get my Oder correct! My husband ordered a big order of chicharron.... "I was making something after work and didn't have time to cook them" ...... The lady asked "you want area pa for 1.00 more?" ...... he was being nice and said yes However ....... the areapa order came with sausage and not chicharron like he said ..... Ok .... it's ok ..... WE understand...... BUT ...... calling in and speaking in Spanish ..... the "woman" who even said she was the "OWNER" ....... said "oh well" My only reason to the review is ...... if in English..... Maybe I just don't like the taste of Colombian food but this place just wasn't it for me. The restaurant was crowded and noisy and I'm pretty sure they were short staffed as there only seemed to be 3 servers running with a packed restaurant thanks to a large party. It took an about an hour to get my drink after ordering it and a refill was never an option. We ordered the sampler platter and it was just meh

The food was absolutely amazing. The amount of food you get for the cost is perfect! The service is very attentive alongside quick. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, it wasn't super busy. But the food speaks for itself, don't knock it till you try it!

Went to Delicias Colombianas Jax on beach blvd across from Sam's club. And it was delicious. Husband started with the beef emanada...good but basic...great with there sauce, he also had the Colombia platter...the carne asada/steak was tough but egg was cooked perfectly and the sausage was delicious. Chicarron was good. Personally I wanted to try something completely new so I did the grilled pork chop...it was fantastic. Best horchata ever..will definitely return and recommend to others.

Came in the and the host was speaking Spanish to us. I only know my numbers so I responded dos for two. And the waitress was also speaking Spanish so we just pointed to the pictures, but we got our orders in. The pastry was mediocre. It had no fillings and it all tasted the same (cheese flavor). I loved my platter. It had so much variety of meat. The pork was my favorite. The crispy skin and tender meat were delicious. The chorizo sausage, the egg, and fried plantain were perfect combination together. The thin steak was not flavorful and a bit dried. The empanadas were fresh and hot when it came out. I really enjoyed my dinner here.

My food was delicious. I just wish I'd had a little more room in my stomach or someone to share a couple other dishes with. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Which is especially nice when you're traveling for work and eating alone.

Horrible service they took 15 mins just to come to my table on top of that horrible food it was cold and cheap quality for the price the inside is dark and cold. I was very disappointed being a Spanish and getting horrible Colombian food makes me miss Miami so much.

There's beef soup is delicious and the meat in sooo tender. I'm feeding my mom on hospice and she loved it.

That place is a hidden gem! We enjoyed our lunch there soooo much! everything tasted great and the service was on point. Our waiter made some great recommendations and was very friendly. We will definitely be back

Bandeja Delicias - the famous Colombian platter is very hearty and you can try out a wonderful combination of grilled meat with fried eggs, avocado, beans, rice, and plantain. I was having light breakfast, lunch, and snacks only for the day. I was ready for a big meal! I like the generous portion overall. The pork reminds me of the fried crispy pork you find from Filipino restaurants. The beef and sausage are similar to the ones I find in other Brazilian and Argentinian restaurants. Couple of pet peeves: extra charge for using credit card and all the non-alcohol drinks have too much sugar. Have cash ready and pick water with lime!

My friend was the one who had this restaurant saved in her bookmarks and I had a big craving for bandeja paisa so it was the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. There is plenty of parking available in the plaza. The restaurant is very spacious and took precautionary Covid measures with mask and spacing out the seating. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food came out quick and oh mannnnnn everything on the plate looked divine. Food was cooked nicely. My favorite was the chicharron which was fried to perfection with a nice crispy skin. My friend who never had bandeja paisa thoroughly enjoyed her meal. Although my friend and I came to the restaurant with empty stomachs, we both had to pack our leftovers because the portion was bigger than what our stomachs could handle. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Stay away from this place....Tumbada.. Went to this place for the first time and got take out. My wife is Colombian and we had a bandeja Paisa.....by the time we got home, we found out it had no chorizo, no chicharrón, no fried egg no arepa, you can imagine how upset she was. What a ripe off...:::totally disappointing

Recently having moved to Jax eager to try Some of the local Latin food, I Give up!! This was like our last try to get a decent meal. Steak was cold and tasteless, chorizo had a bad aftertaste. My wife who is Colombian was shocked at how bad the meal was.. my children refused to eat the meal and that rarely happens...

Saw a Yelp friend post about this place so I showed it to my husband and he asked to stop here for his birthday lunch. I'm so glad we did. The place is large enough to social distance comfortably and we were greeted and taken to a table quickly. Servers are super friendly and helped us decide what to order seeing this was our first time here. Holy portions! You definitely won't go hungry and it wasn't pricey at all. They bring 3 sauces to the table and warn about the level of heat. Lol Hubby ordered the Bandeja Paisa (Colombian platter) and I ordered the pollo en La crema de champinones (chicken in cream of mushroom). The appetizer was a chorizo con arepa. Soooo much food! We definitely did not leave hungry and had lots of leftovers. Everything was delicious and fresh! Definitely recommend.

The music was super loud. The food was bland and anything but Colombian. The customer service was below average. The wait staff was more interested in hanging out with each other than giving their customers a good experience.

Excellent food! We discovered this wonderful restaurant yesterday. My wife and I had lunch. I had a sampler plate which had beans and rice, steak, plantain, thick cut pork, chorizo, and it was delicious! It was about $18 and worth every penny. My wife had chicken and rice, salad and plantains and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was friendly and the lady answered all my questions. I had many questions about the different food and drinks I was seeing. We will return!

Very surprising and pleased ! Came on a Sunday eve it was pretty packed so I chose to dine at the bar top the food was delieved promptly and very delicious!! Even had one of their tasty guava pastries! I recommend this place for tasty traditional Colombian eats :) Ps: there fruits juices yum! ( tried the passion fruit and guava )

Service was a little slow is the only negative I can say. Beans are super tasty. The giant piece of pork fried was seasoned perfectly. That didn't last long. The steak and egg were cooked a little too much. Loved that rice cake, super crispy and light. That blackberry drink was perfect. I look forward to coming back!

Update: we returned for a 3rd visit & the food didn't disappoint once we finally received our order after a very long delay. Thus, four stars is again appropriate for our latest visit. We highly appreciate the great cooked to order food prepared here, but became a bit annoyed after we'd been in the restaurant for a while & another couple who later came in after us received their food before we did. I voiced my feelings to a staff member after she asked how everything was; she did apologize for the delay. We'll give it another try because the food really is great.

Updated review ! The key is to go when it's busy ! We went for dinner around 6 and it was quite busy but the food was much fresher than the last time we went during the day . I still love the chicken dish . Salad had enough dressing and the avocado was just right . I didn't get the capture a picture but the empanadas was nice and crispy . They come with a pickle side which gave it some tangy and crunchy texture .

Over priced. Bland. Hit or miss. The arepa is always burnt and significantly tiny. The chorizo is almost always burnt. Beans are wayyy too watery and need salt not authentic at all. Churrasco was raw and unseasoned with a veryyy small almost invisible line of chimichurri. Rice crunchy. It taste like they put ketchup instead of fresh tomatoes in the guiso(sauce). "Salad" just lettuce no sauce not even vinegar with lime and salt on it. I really wanted to give this place a chance but this is the 3rd time in a row.

$80 delivery order. 4 beef empandas. 2 chicarones. Grilled steak. Columbian shrimp and rice. Breaded pork loin. Beef empandas had no beef just potatoes. Texture lacking. If you want real empandas I recommend Salentos. Theirs are perfection. Chicarones definite highlight perfect crispiness good meat to fat mix and nice chewy skin. Columbian shrimp and rice. Wife absolutely loved the rice. Breaded pork loin. Dry but flavorful. Attributing dryness to delivery time. Some things don't transport well. Grilled Steak and here's the 2 star rating. This dish looked amazing. Arrived with papas fritas on top of steak and they were slightly limp but once again attribute that to packaging and delivery. Uncovered the steak and found not 1 but multiple hairs on steak. THIS STEAK HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN DROPPED. Called restaurant (was thinking they could resend steak or remove from bill because it was inedible) manager gives me long spiel that it is delivery drivers fault (Grub Hub) and had we used their free delivery this wouldn't have happened. Sorry you lost a repeat customer

I usually call before I come to see if they have any chicharron. I stay about 3 mins away. When I get there it's always a different story. The look I receive when I walk in makes me feel I'm unwanted. I went about 3 times already and it's always the same thing. I'm not sure if it's my dreads or my skin color. The food is awesome but I won't be returning.

I the restaurant and food is good it was great and I don't see anyone talking about this. We ate their and our stuff got stolen from our car we told them and they said that happened often and that the police didn't care either. We called and they said they'll get back to us and they never did. Be careful of this area. Recommend the food 100% though.

Food and service was very good came here a few months ago with a friend. The smoothies are amazing and also the empanadas. I had a burger which was really good too.
