What an absolutely amazing spot! Such a homey, vibey beautiful space with not just great service, but amazing food too! We had gone before for breakfast & wanted to show our friends a good time while they were in town. We went for lunch and just WOW. I had the parillada de pescado & what a deal for the food we have. Can’t wait to go back again!

Google
People are. A little slow have to get their attention sometimes multiple times. Once you have it they are very helpful. Amazing Iberian and Serrano ham along with delicious dessert bakery truly make this community fixture a must visit.

After emailing them, they called me and honored the mistake by replacing it with a great one, delicious as always!! We loved!! Thank you so much!!

I’ve been coming to Delicias de España every Sunday for years. The food is always great and most of the staff is wonderful—but unfortunately, service from Judith has consistently been poor. This last visit, we had to ask multiple times for our café con leche. My husband’s eggs never arrived until he asked, and her response was, “I don’t work in the kitchen.” I also had to get up to ask for the check, and when she finally came, she told me I was “complaining” and that she would never serve us again. Completely uncalled for. We’ve let it slide before because we love the place and the rest of the staff is excellent, but this kind of rude, dismissive service is unacceptable.

This restaurant is perhaps one of Miami's Sapnish food staples. Unassuming locale in a strip mall provides an authentic menu, great food, good service, and a good price. A great selection of Spanish wines available to join your meal. If you want to try good, authentic Spanish food, don't hesitate to stop and enjoy a good meal.

Google
Had an amazing time celebrating my neices birthday lunch here. I had the squid in its ink amazing. And the chorizo tortilla also delicious. Also shrimp in garlic and oil , and the bucarones OMG with the hot bread and a little butter.

Google
Customer service at its worse! The server did not pay any attention to our order for lunch. (Saily B) No straws, no sugar for coffee, paying attention to other customers while taking our order, reluctant to serve both ham and bacalao croquettes with an awful display of chorizo croquettes. Manager was advised.

Marxi our server was an amazing! She made my family and I welcomed. Every dish was delicious! Definitely would return and recommend.

Yelp
Loved the 3 specialty cakes I ordered for my 4 year old birthday party. I wanted deluxe cakes and needed all to have a white top in order to decorate them with Frozen figurines like Elsa, Anna, Olaf... #1. The Mil-Hojas Tart ( Millefeuille, Napoleon, Señorita) was a great choice. Not only had great mix of flavors throughout the different layers of cream, meringue and sugar powder on top but also had excellent consistency. We were able to cut through it smoothly without making a mess out of the tart. Usually these tarts are hard to cut. Every one loved it. About $33. #2. The rum cake: Just like I was told from the beginning. Yes, it does taste like rum! None of the kids complained and neither the parents. They just went through it like a chainsaw. We needed a traditional looking cake in case the kids didn't like the other specialty sweets. This one was also white as we needed it. In my experience you barely taste the alcohol in rum cakes but this one you get to taste the Kahlúa and the sweet blend on a very moist and prepared cake. Just for $33 dollars I had better quality and tasteful cake than most popular Dominican rum cakes that are usually offered for birthday parties. Note* this is coming from a guy that does not drink or like alcohol. #3. Last but not least: Their signature and best dessert "Delicias Soufflé". I order this continuously. Party or no party. Yes it is that good! A spectacular type of Tres Leches dessert that includes tiny pieces of nuts and chocolates just for crunchy texture to blend on this cold milky wet sweet treat covered in flamed meringue. It comes packaged in a Spaniard rectangular clay base that you get to keep( I have a collection of them that I use for events). Comes inside a sturdy box very well prepared and thought of for the delivery travel. Priced $42 and they offer a larger one for $54 I believe. Presentation made the difference as well. Every parent was intrigued and anticipating what was inside the nice looking boxes. In addition to the appealing presentation, those are packages are effective to carry, open and put back in the refrigerator as you can see in the pictures I posted.

Yelp
A great place to buy authentic Spanish products. Has a restaurant, prepared Deli food and traditional Spanish clay pots and cups. Also wines and beers and even perfumes and soaps from Spain. Great selection of sausages and hams and canned quality products.

Nalio E.

Yelp
The pastries here are outstanding! I ordered the crema catalana and it was amazing. Also the ham & chorizo croquettes are pretty good too. Even with the pastries being great I do feel like a lot of the stuff is a little overpriced but what isn't now days. They do make a mean Cuban coffee here so definitely order one while you're here.

Elle C.

Yelp
Haven't dined there but have bought their Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas) it is one of the best I have tasted outside of Spain truly authentic flavors. We got the original version which is thick, full of potatoes and onions flavorful, you can see the potato chunks, it was freshly made, we thought that it would serve 8 but we ate it all ourselves! Service is quick and knowledgeable, there was a line to order prepared foods and pastries but it moved quickly next time we will try the restaurant.

Roberto C.

Yelp
Management should be ashamed of themselves. They scream at their customers for asking questions about the food. WOMEN BEWARE!!! if you have any criticisms the men at this business will get in your face and scream at you. Disgusting. Horrible service, food is mediocre.

Maggie C.

Yelp
I was verbally assaulted and thrown out of the restaurant for saying to the person who appeared to be running the place that the ham croques were not Spanish croquetes. They were orange inside and sweet. A guy in hiss early thirties longed at me and said I was had to leave the restaurant. This is after paying $40 for lunch I should have called the police.

Ali G.

Yelp
The bandeja #1 is very very good for dinner parties. It has great options and it does feed 15 people and more. I ordered it by phone with the Fideua for a gathering and picked it up. Fideua is a thin noodles (fideos) pasta paella instead of Rice paella. It's suppose to be with all types of seafood but because of an allergy we got it with fish and chicken and It was tasty but not like the one in Spain I was craving for that reason the 4 stars. The service by phone was good but the women seem a little lost they had never heard of the Fideua and it's on their online menu. I have eaten here before and is good they have good croquetas and also the lamb is good but everyone knows the Delicias Soufflé is the star at this bakery/restaurant, is their version of a 3 leches cake with chocolate pieces and burn merengue on top. Must Try it!!

Emely M.

Yelp
If you're looking for the perfect cake for any occasion including birthday ... get the soufflé!!! Amazing!!!! And you can keep the clay container it comes in perfect for serving dishes. Love the food, also a marketplace.

Yelp
I hate giving 3 star reviews, but this restaurant really needs to bring back their A Game. The entire place feels so crowded because the tables are set up very close to one another. Last night (Friday evening around 8p), the place was crowded, which they tend to be busy anytime you go but they only had 2 servers and 1 person bringing water, bread and menus. We were waiting like 5-7 minutes after being seated for menus and another 10 for bread and water. The way they take tables is like the old school method of "I got next." Servers were deciding who was going to take our table. Now we're sitting like close to 20 min and server comes to take the drink order. Based on how disorganized and slow they were moving, we placed our food order at that moment as well. Food came out in decent time. The food was hot, and the portion size was fine. Taste was just ok, not bad but definitely not what it was before. We had a slice of tortilla (best thing we had), potaje de garbanzo which was ok, but missing some flavor profile that I could not pin, and the arroz marinero. The rice was overly yellow, almost orange in color and had 2 shrimp, 1 mussle, and 1 baby clam. Picture doesn't represent how little seafood was actually in a seafood rice. Definitely was lacking in seafood. Overall, this is not what they used to be, back when they were at the 57th Ave location and even when they expanded this location. Salvageable but needs some revamping.

Jimmie M.

Yelp
I'm 53 years old This was probably the rudest waiter I have ever encountered When he first came to the table I couldn't understand his Spanish because of his Cuban accent. I asked him to repeat himself and he got in a huff and stormed off In almost one hour and a half he never refilled my glass of water 90 minutes and he came to the table twice Every five minutes he would attend to the other tables, look at me, then turned his back and walked away when I would ask to order It was ridiculous I eventually asked the owner if someone could fill my glass with water There are way too many Spanish restaurants in Miami to sit through treatment like that The guy was outright hostile after the owner told him to take my order

Marcia A.

Yelp
Love the food here and the deserts are delicious. The only downside is their service when you call to order specifically around the holidays. Need to fix that please, answer the phones

Mercy M.

Yelp
Delicious food, quality is the word to best describe! Fair pricing for this food! The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. You don't have to know the cuisine. Simply ask, tell them what you're into and they'll make yummy suggestions. I have yet to try something I didn't like! Recommend Tortilla De Papa Con Chorizo, Tortilla de patatas (papa), croquetas de jamón, alfajores, palmeras, and their baguette!! Best baguette on bird road. The moment you step in it's like your transported to a Spanish home, great atmosphere, family friendly. You can also order to go. They accept contactless payment which is a bonus!

Marlen D.

Yelp
They don't answer the phone at all most of the time but the food is good. The employees are not the post polite just ok

Mica L.

Yelp
This place is really good for authentic Spanish cuisine. I came in to pick up a cake, & had coffee & pastelitos while I waited. Everything was really good. I'm obsessed with the soufflé delicias. It was a recommendation from so many people, so I had to try. It lived up to the hype for sure.

Arcadio H.

Yelp
We had lunch there today. I ordered caldo gallego n had to return it because it was extremely salty. They refused to take it off my bill n I refused to pay for it. After a while they took it off the bill, but damage was already done. I'll never go back there they were not very polite. Pls. stay away from there.

Hector M.

Yelp
Delicias de España no tiene servicio de entrega a domicilio, como todo los restaurantes buenos de Miami. Increíble en estos tiempos donde es tan común la entrega de comida a la casa.

Patricia B.

Yelp
We ordered a tortilla española with chorizo and a bandeja de manchego with membrillo for a party. I have been ordering from delicias for years. THERE WAS A FLY IN THE BANDEJA & A PUBIC LOOKING HAIR IN THE TORTILLA ESPANOLA. Ordered these items for my grandmothers 95th birthday. NEVER Again! After 20 plus years of patronage, never again. DISGUSTING and on both items. shameful. It's really sad to see such a great place go down hill so poorly.

Claudia D.

Yelp

Elisabeth N.

Yelp
It's a nice little bakery part authentic gourmet grocery part restaurant, however, the location of the dining area is far too vague in placement behind the grocery items. We visited the place on a Saturday for lunch, ordering a mushroom soup which was very delicious and probably the best we have ever had, We also had the Tabla de Serrano, and the Cantimpalo y queso manchego, it was fresh but it would have been better if it came with bread on the side. We were looking forward to the fish and seafood paella since paella is one of our top favorite dishes and we have enough experience to say that this was the worst paella we have ever tasted. It was definitely not made fresh; the shrimps were so overcooked that they didn't taste like shrimp anymore, and so was the rice. We were very disappointed to pay $23 for a barely-eaten dish. My husband spoke to the manager but he did not seem to care much about what we had to say. Overall, it is a nice place to purchase authentic Spanish groceries and that's all we will do if we ever go back

J S.

Yelp
Overpriced and limited variety. It used to be better when they were at their previous location.

Ileana P.

Yelp
Absolutamente recomendable. Te sientes como en España. Además de los desayunos, tapas y platos, el Bakery y la tiendita. A mi me encanta volver.

Daisy S.

Yelp
Rico rico rico. Delicias de España is a comfort spot. My favorite are the croquetas de jamón y queso as well as the pan con tomate. When I am in the area I like to pop in for a quick lunch and glass of wine. They have a market with imported goods from Spain. They also have a cute bakery , pastry section as soon as you walk through the door. Opt for the souflee! It has chocolate chips and is to die for. You can buy a single portion, for 10 or 20! Great for parties!

Andy D.

Yelp
I love this place the food is always fresh and traditionally consistent with the flavors of Spain . The wait staff is extremely helpful and efficient and the ambiance is vibrant and youthful. It is a pleasure to visit this place

Helen C.

Yelp
Everything here is always delicious! As soon as you walk in the ladies in the front are always helpful giving you recommendations and accommodating your order. Highly recommend coming here for a bocadito or any of their delicious dulces.

Andrius Z.

Yelp
The service always lacks and the servers couldn't care less to be at tentative to your needs! You are lucky if you get greeted ! You have to make sure to ask all at once as you won't see them again! They are too busy on the phone ! The food on the other hand is pretty decent. The eggs in tomatoes sauce with sausage is delicious ! Thought by the time mine was brought, the eggs cooked and were hard ! The second time I went they were a bit more runny. The croquettas were pretty good !

Kathie R.

Yelp
Service absolutely sucks and the blonde woman with glasses is BEYOND rude the one by dadeland is so much better honestly

David V.

Yelp
The Spanish chorizo and egg was delicious. I never expected to find such a high quality restaurant with the incredible menu in a location so secluded. If you are in the area, stop by

cristina b.

Yelp
Was so delighted to stumble upon this unassuming little place. Part bakery, part mini gourmet grocery that specializes in Spanish food, and part restaurant, Delicias de España is truly a delicious delight. We went on a Tuesday around 11 in the morning. The restaurant, which is hiding behind the mini grocery, was relatively empty. Although the decor is rather outdated, it is clean and organized. The staff is friendly, service was fast and the food was fresh and full of authentic Spanish flavor.

Sara D.

Yelp
We went looking for Chistorras, a Galician sausage, and could not find any. It's a small store divided into three sections.: Bakery, Grocery, Restaurant We browsed briefly in the grocery area before leaving. The lines were growing in length for the register, and it was not much room to spare. We need to visit the restaurant and bakery

Lourdes G.

Yelp
Ok, where do I start. The food. What we ordered was just ok. I have eaten in Spain and have visited Spain Many-Many times, so I can say that this is hands down, the worst Spanish food I have had. Again this is a personal opinion. The service was good. Our waitress was fast and helpful. I had a problem with the menu since a lot of the food is more a tapa, than actual food. The gambas al ajillo were good and enough to share with my husband. The ensaladilla was boring.. just potatoes and mayonnaise. No egg, no olives, just plain and boring. The ham croquetas were cold by the time they go to us, so forget about the creamy center. For me they were over cooked and cold. Also, they didn't taste like ham at all. The bread that was brought to the table was also cold and underwhelming, just ok. I think it was undercooked. My husband had the daily special. It was pork with sweet potato. The pork was dry, the sweet potato mash, which I have NEVER had or seen in Spain, looked horrible. I didn't take any pictures of the food, what for? Service good, food mediocre. Will not return to restaurant, only to market for product.

Dalvys J.

Yelp
This place is not definitely not recommended. We walked in, didn't get greeted. Once we realized where to sit, they finally took our order. No water offered, no bread to start ( which seemed to be included in the meal) Our food was hard, eggs over cooked, and meat extremely dry and rubbery. I asked for a coffee that was never brought to me. Honestly, waste of time and $30 definitely in the garbage. Do not come to eat here as you will leave disappointed and food is lacking beyond belief.

Frank M.

Yelp
This is more of a review of the market in the front than of the restaurant. The food in the restaurant is of very good quality, but the atmosphere is more Cafe than fine dining. As for the market, it offers the best array of imported Spanish products at prices that are certainly competitive with other outlets (often cheaper than Amazon for the same item) and far less expensive than some other local outlets (ex. Calamillor down the road on 57th Ave offers many of the same items at substantially higher prices). They pack a lot of products into a small space, but it represents one of the best varieties of imported Spanish products you will find in South Florida. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a local source for imported Spanish foods and beverages.

Annette S.

Yelp
Amazing catering to go! You can never go wrong with ordering goodies from there for your party, food is always a hit! The croquetas are and if you like sweets you must try the delicias soufflé!!!! ....so far everything Iv tried has been a hit.

Ozzie R.

Yelp
Excellent Mediterranean food, service and great ambience. Excellent typical Spanish daily menu,

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: Enjoyed the lentil soup and tortilla española with a glass of wine. The soup had big chunks of meat which I'm certain people enjoy very much. The tortilla española was delicious. Cons: The locale could use a face lift, the decor didn't match the quality of the food. Service was okay.

Carlos E.

Yelp
I have been here twice. The first time we had chicken and rice lunch special and it was great for amazing price. Two days ago we arrived at 12:30 pm and the was no more lunch special left. It was very disappointing because the other dishes are much more expensive and don't include appetizers or dessert. They should have more lunch specials or don't run out in 30 minutes! We had fried mixed seafood as appetizer which average and the trout which was excellent!! We also had the crema Catalana which was good. It's unavoidable to leave without buying some from the market or bakery. So we bought jamón ibérico and tortilla con chorizo. Both were incredible like Museo del Jamón in Madrid!! The service was good!

Alina Z.

Yelp
BEST SOUFFLÉ IN MIAMI! I never go to a party or birthday without one. It's so good, you can easily eat it all with a spoon. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it.) it's a mix of chocolate plus soufflé plus tres Leches plus créeme brûlée. It's a dessert from the gods I swear.

Lissett R.

Yelp
Wanted a little change of the usual Sunday Brunch! We decided on Delicias de España 2. Had no idea there are several and each has a different menu for their daily specials. Upon arrival the restaurant was full and with a waiting line that moved fast. It is a little cramped waiting because you need to do this within the "tiendesita" or little store. You can get from dolls, espadrilles, Carafe, soap, body wash. All sorts of Trinkets from Spain. So on to the food.. when ever I think of Spain I think of Tapas their little plates and that's exactly what I wanted. There is a decent selection of soups, salads, main plates. Bocadillos (sándwiches) and since there's a bakery on site. Desserts are is not an issue. We ordered 1/2 pitcher of sangria, only because it was less expensive than getting 2 glasses and it was sufficient for 3 glasses. Nice and with plenty of diced Fred's fruit. Got the small tabla of camtimpalo, Serrano and manchego cheese. Bacalao (Cod) croquetas, fabada, pulpo a la gallega and crema catalana. Service was good and price is reasonable. I recommended Delicias de España 2.

Deby V.

Yelp
Bought a tortilla española from here for a party and I think it's safe to say that the tortilla was the first thing to go at this party. Absolutely delicious and super well made. I also think it's safe to say I would've Finished this tortilla myself if i was given the chance. The prices are great! And the cakes here are also delicious, i tend to get the cake that has dulce de leche and almonds. Love this place!

MarceloGio C.

Yelp
Good food but bad service in the restaurant. The server in the picture is only nice to men and takes care of them really fast. Must think she's gonna get a better tip. Same thing happened to me last time with her. She is super rude and only smiles at men. I'm sure she over worked it that doesn't justify her attitude. Will keep coming just for the food.

Alexa C.

Yelp
Everyone seems to love their chocolate chip rendition of the tree leches cake. If you order the large one, it comes with the baking dish which adds value to it. It's a typical Spanish bakery but with a Refined twist which is why it attracts the crowd it does. Artisanal deli meats and all things chorizo is one their best fortes. Right by the palmetto & bird exit is where you'll find this gem and the reputation surely matches the product. Traditional tortilla española is a for sure solid choice here at anytime if the day- you can order it by the slice. It's definitely a favorite amongst the well-known bakeries in one of Miami's best known working neighborhoods. It's a perfect spot for lunch or even catering. They've been in business for years and it's evident why. You can't go wrong with this spot.

Cassie P.

Yelp
Delicias de España is a solid go-to for not just a Spanish meal, but specially imported market items, as well. After living in Madrid, I constantly crave tortilla, croquetas, olives, and the like. Thankfully, I can find it all here. There's a bakery section up front where you can grab coffee and baked goods, including tortilla española, to go. There's also a large dining room with waiter service for any meal of the day. I most recently stopped in for breakfast. I enjoyed pisto, a tomato based vegetable stew, with fried eggs, while my husband got the scrambled eggs with chorizo and fried potatoes. We also ordered pan con tomate which I thought would involve crushed tomatoes, but ended up being tomato slices. We'd skip this next time and instead, focus on the warm, soft and addictive bread that's given complimentary. Our dishes were really solid though and we ate every last bite! I was heartbroken to hear about the fire in the original location down the road. Thankfully, this spot still stands and will continue to satisfy all my cravings. Would definitely recommend checking it out! Parking is free in the lot out front, right off of Bird Road and near the IHOP.

Ely S.

Yelp
Had to stop coming to the restaurant cause the service is horrendous. Waited 25 min after we asked for it and only getting it cause the waiter saw me complaining to the owner. I've spoken to several usual diners and they mention the same thing why they no longer go. Sad, cause we loved coming here.

Emily H.

Yelp
This is a one stop shop for anything Spaniard. The storefront is a bakery, market and restaurant. The bakery serves cakes, cookies, tarts. They also offer savory items like their amazing omelettes aka Spanish "Tortilla Española. The omelette is filled with potato and onions, chorizo or the other is filled with ham and topped with cheese. These omelettes are great to take to a party. The market side has specialty products from Spain and they also have paella dishes. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you go for breakfast have the Cazuela De Huevos a La Flamenca which is amazing. The poached eggs are served in a tomato sauce with Serrano Ham and Chorizo. The eggs are cooked and baked in a clay pot and is brought to the table while it's still sizzling from the oven. This is a great place to come when you are in the mood for great authentic Spanish food.

Julio C.

Yelp
This spot has "THE THRES LECHES". Yes, I know you have had the best one in many places, but if you get this one, your life will change. I was introduced to this place thanks to a beautiful soul that changed my life. Literally and figuratively. That tres leches has the right portion of milk and sweetness. You can keep eating non-stop. Esto no empalaga. If you know what I mean. Great combination to our 4th of July celebration.

Gaby F.

Yelp
Patricia took care of us, late at night. Excellent service. Their soufflé was to die for. I had to have their breakfast, love it. No matter the time of day their breakfast is always among my first choices. We'll be back soon.

Ed W.

Yelp
Delicias de España is a nice place to go. It has a really good size market with tons of Spanish selections like boquerones, imported ham, paella pots, wine... etc. It is very complete. Prices will vary according to your taste. (Some hams are over a thousand dollars). Sitting to eat tapas here is much better than the usual southwest traffic jams. Good wines at an even better price, and some cheese and ham boards to munch while talking to your friends. Can't bit that. Service is really good and waiters are really attentive.

Barbara E.

Yelp

Alan C.

Yelp
They have authentic Spanish food. Their service is excellent, although I wish they paid some attention to the tables and refilled water and bread. The place is just like your typical Tasca, serving good octopuses. It feels like you are in Spain.

Neil D.

Yelp
The food is ok nothing special, they do have a decent assortment of goods from Spain at a premium. The service has never been good (been living in the area 30years ) but as of late it has gotten worse the wait staff and front cashier treat you like if they are miserable ( the owner is not pleasant either) instead of being greeted with a smile and hello they speak to you as if they are prison guards and you are a nuisance and not a paying customer who simply wants to enjoy a meal with family . I will not be returning I've had several negative experiences that has left a bitter taste in my mouth . I will take my family's business elsewhere. I believe I'm not alone in my observation
