Courteous welcome. Great service! Promot preparation was quick. Waitress good service. The soups, Caldo de Res and Caldo de Peacado(Catfis)were very satisfying. And the takeout Asado burritos were excellent.

Our waitress was very nice and professional. My friend ordered tacos 🌮 and I ordered a fajita salad 🥗. The lettuce was wilted and a lot of water on the bottom of the bowl, I couldn’t finish it. The meat was very tender and tasty so that was a plus. The place was clean and nice atmosphere.

Delicias looks small on the outside, but it's roomy in the inside. Has the Mexico atmosphere. 🙂. Friendly staff, great service. Variety of food to choose from. I had Caldo de Res, and it was perfect! Seasoning was just right which made the broth very good. My husband had the traditional Mexican Plate. We both agreed the rice was a bit dry, needs more taste. We both agreed to a 5 star rating 🙂

Love it. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Very cozy. Feels like home. I love it.

The lunch specials offer small portions but at a good price. Otherwise over priced i.e charge for chips and salsa.

Friendly waitress (Erica). My nopalitos breakfast was so delicious. Coffee can be stronger.

One of the more authentic Mexican restaurants I have been to. Right down to the broken plates, old silverware, and bright colors everywhere. The salsa was great; it had a good amount of heat to it but not too much. Our dinner was more flavorful than a few places we have been in the area. The two biggest complaints were that our menus had remnants of the prior guests' meals(I told you it was authentic), and for the amount of queso we received, I felt as if the churi queso was overpriced at $10. All that being said, I will eat here again.

I don't have a pic but this place is a 20/10. From the minute you walk in it's def a mom n pop. No chain restaurant here. From the friendly staff to the original authentic food. This place is a must!!! Go check this place out

My favorite dish at this restaurant is the cold soup. It's always very good. The staff is always very friendly and the place is always very clean.

I ordered delivery through DoorDash. Everything was really good! I debated between the flautas and tamales but got the flautas. They were great. I am a chips and dip sort of gal, so I tried the hot sauce and chips, queso and chips, chori queso, and extra refried beans. Normally my fave is chori queso, but My fave this time was the hot sauce mixed with the queso. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciated the chori queso! I would order both of them again. Next time, instead of the flautas I am going to try the tamales.

Went here for lunch and was very shocked to find out that they charge for chips and salsa! I have never seen that from a Mexican food restaurant, especially in west Texas. The waitress was not friendly and ignored our table. My plate was shrimp tacos and the corn tortillas were dripping in grease and this plate was $20. I would NOT recommend this place at all!!!

The food here is really good and and the service is as well. I love that they have a vegetarian menu, but it's lacking a little in the seafood department in my opinion. The place looks like it used to be someone's house that they turned into a restaurant, so it really gives you that authentic Mexican feel. In most cities, I have a restaurant that I feel that I have to go to when I'm there. In Odessa, Delicias is that place.

I had the small bowl of caldo de pollo and it was really good. Had good flavor. As for my husband he had the large bowl caldo de Res and he was screwed with a bunch of bone & a little bit of meat. They gave him 5 bones. The caldo was pretty poor in flavor. I poured the rest of my juice in his bowl to give it better flavor. This is not the first time of being cheated with the meat. They give you so little but you pay a good price. Here is a picture below to show you our biggest meat piece he had in his large bowl of caldo de res. I'll probably just stick with Lucy's cafe.

My favorite place for Mexican food in Odessa. So tasty and authentic. Caldo. On point. Flautas. On point. Green sauce. On point. Too bad their service is ultimately why I'm giving the one star rating. Very very poor customer service.

This is one of my favorite places to eat.. the lunch specials are good. Caldo always tasty. When I want to have an authentic Mexican meal with the atmosphere to match. Here is where I eat! Tacos are great.. menudo the way my grandma makes it! One thing I don't care for is the rice. It's always too crunchy for me but that is the only flaw I have found .

Very disappointed with this restaurant. I was in town for work and with the 5 stars reviews, I expected way more. We got the cheese dip and they told us it was their best seller. It tasted like it came from a can. The salsa was completely watered down. It tasted like water with a small kick of spice. We asked for their best plates and it had to be the absolute worst. As a Mexican, I am thoroughly disappointed. This is not Mexican food. It's Tex-Mex and I found it worse than other places I've been. I'm from Dallas and coming to a town that's heavily populated with hispanics, I expected more authenticity and flavor. What a joke. If I could give this place no stars, I would. I just found it astonishing thag people are calling this place authentic Mexican. It's NOT!! The waitresses were sweet, but I'm there for the food; ruined my trip back to Dallas.

I LOVE this restaurant. The people are friendly, the food is great! The queso is amazing. I get different things on the menu and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend Delicias!

Good prices for homemade fare. If your looking for commercial food or large portions this is not your place. I loved it and will be back.

Great service. Food was made just how you ask. No problems adjusting plates to order and amazing, ice cold Horchata.

Oh. My. God. Such good food. Real deal authentic Mexican food. I'm in a good coma as I write this. When you see the parking lot full of oilfield trucks, you know it's good. Those oilfield workers know how to eat. They won't be wasting time on mediocre Mexican food.

Had a lunch there on 8/23/17. My sister and I got food poisoning from there. Hurting for two days.

This place is hands down amazing. Best authentic mexican food in Odessa. Friendly service and decor that reminds you of your abuela's house. Awesome.

This was my first Tex-Mex place and I really enjoyed it. They are always busy and especially famous for their soups. If you are in Odessa, give it a try.

The was my first time eating here. I'm giving only 3 stars because my breakfast burrito was stuffed with eggs (hard scrambled, not soft, like I ordered), with little to no sausage. However, the salsa was great! I will try lunch or dinner to give and alternative rating.

The layout and ambiance is great. Obviously it used to be a house. I like this type restaurants. As far as service the guy behind the counter didnt greet. There was an akward 5 second stare and I finally said "for two" and he said ok and walked away and didnt take us to a chair or say anything finally i followed him and asked where and he said anywhere. The server seems like cool people to the OTHER customers. She was also akward Sheila is her name. Food OHHH LAWD. SALT SALT SALT. Ordered a michelada salty. Ordered combination burrito salty. Ordered the taco plate salty. I let Sheila know about the saltiness. No acknowledgement or anything. All in all DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK

The food is ok. I had the combination plate with taco, enchilada, and tamale. Everything tasted good. My biggest problem was the staff seemed unfriendly for some reason. There was a really kind of ackward vibe when we entered the restaurant. I can't exactly pin down anything specific, but all of the employees that we interacted with seemed unwelcoming. Whatever, the tamale was good.

This is the most nastiest restaurant in Odessa! Caldo do pollo and caldo de Rez was such a disappointment. I don't even know how this restaurant has been open this long. Service was bad the lady literally would throw our plates on the table. We asked for extra rice never got it! Never again will I eat at this disgusting place!

Hands down, this is the best carne deshebrada taco I've ever had. The meat was tender and moist like most places, but the flavor was incredible. Not too much chili spice, but a fair amount of heat mixed in with some sweetness that I think came from the fresh made corn tortilla. I'm giving the tacos 5 stars. I had a bowl of caldo de res also (don't judge. It was a long day, late lunch and it was cold out!). The caldo was adequate. Wasn't the best I've ever had, but wasn't the worst either. The lady had the chicken fajita soup, and that was a wiser choice. Wish I lived/worked closer to this side of town so I could come here more often. I see why it's always packed!

Have had both breakfast & lunch, both sooo good. Queso was delicious as well as flautes. Fried eggs perfect. Can not wait to go back.

Really like this place...been here twice now. I like the atmosphere (it's a cute little house with a big parking lot) albeit odd sometimes to eat in a sparsely decorated converted back bedroom in very close quarters to your dining neighbors....as a Californian I have grown quite fond of my personal space bubble, but close quarters in West Texas is rarely if ever uncomfortable because the people are so darn friendly. The couple at the table next to us helped us order our lunch! The place is always packed...A large portion of the lunch staff do not speak English well and a smaller portion seemed to understand it (we had 4 servers, and only 1 was flawlessly fluent.) HOWEVER, considering we were at an authentic Mexican restaurant in search of authentic food, the language barrier is reassuring instead of discouraging. And our order got to us quickly & correctly. I had the ground beef tacos - good - but not Rosa's good. Hubby got the Mexican Plate at the recommendation of server #3, which he really enjoyed. You get chips & salsa, which is too spicy for my palate, but then I can't handle much...probably why NO Mexican restaurant will ever live up to the all powerful Rosa's in my eyes. The queso at Delicia's is to die for however, white cheese dip with just the right kick to it. It's downtown so good for a business lunch or dinner before a show at the Ector. Prices aren't bad either...salsa, chips, queso, 2 lunches & 2 drinks for $20. Viva la Delicias!

Some of the best Mexican food in town, love their fajitas and their Caldo and their salsa is good and hot, too hot for the wife but just right for me. Chips are good. My go to Mexican food Restaurant in Odessa.

Delicias is just plain delicious. Great authentic Tex Mex. I havent been back to Odessa for a while, but this is a great place. How do you know if you found it? You've arrived at a house with a filled parking lot. They have the best caldo out of any restaurant I have ever been to- comfort food at its finest. You can't go wrong with any of their lunch specials. My favorite dish besides the caldo is the asado (it reminds me of the one I get at home). The portions are large and it is very cheap for the amount of food you get. You will notice laborers who need high caloric meals coming and going from Delicias. Its great food. It will satisfy your Tex-Mex craving. People of Odessa don't realize what a gem this place is- (I know I didnt until we moved to Eastern Texas).

Stopped here around 12:30 on a Tuesday and it was packed! About a 20 minutes wait. Even by the time we left, after 1, there was still a wait. Food was excellent! They have a variety of soups and we're already put of the beef soup, so I had the chicken. The large was enormous and came with huge vegetable pieces and full pieces of chicken, the leg, the wing, etc. The salsa was excellent and the staff fast and friendly. Go early and expect a short wait. Worth it, though. Reasonably priced for the area too.

Food was terrible, not hot and not authentic. Way overpriced. Service and atmosphere were severely lacking.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. 4 of us went and none of us liked it at all. I had the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp was old and bad. It physically made me ill. My son had the shrimp tampinique (sp) and was violently ill. The Chile Verde was bland and my other son only ate his rice and beans and 1 bite of his taco. He said it was stale and disgusting. We will never go back!

Absolutely love this place!! This is authentic homemade Mexican food!! The waitstaff is friendly and bilingual! They do get packed at lunch and you may have a short wait for a table but it is well worth it!! I recommend their Beef Caldo. It's a Mexican soup and is super yummy!!

This place was way authentic! About burnt my tongue off my face, but it was delicious. Friday around 6:30pm, we were delighted to encounter the famed mariachi band which added immeasurably to our experience! Definitely, check it out!

love the food here. it's so tasty, the service is great, the place is unpretentious and it's all about the food!!!! you have to go and try it out for yourself. Their Guela soup is FANTASTIC! Their barbacoa is really tasty as well. this place is a gem

What can I say about Delicias that hasn't been said before? There's a reason I've been a repeat customer for over 20 years, the chile verde is amazing, it just melts in your mouth. Their chips and salsa has the perfect amount of burn and flavor, the camarones a la tampiqueña is delectable, and on a cold wintry day, the caldo de res (beef soup) just hits the spot!!

Thought the meal was over priced for the quality of the food. Rice and beans had no flavor. My taco fritos were good, my wife's cheese enchiladas with red sauce were terrible. The sauce was slightly spicy and that is all it had going for it, there was no other flavor to it. My kids chicken strips and fries where both very good though. Wait staff was adequate but also in unimpressive.

Great service and good food. Gets a big crowd at lunch so be prepared. Their caldo is the best.

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and it was delicious! The queso is excellent! The salsa is excellent! The food is excellent! I am only giving 4 stars because our server was rather incompetent and disappeared for a while letting our drinks go empty. Great food for the price.

The food is great here, there is no doubt. I highly recommend the beef soup. The hot sauce is tasty, and their toast comes from a local bakery. My complaint is with their customer service. I can't tell you how many times I've called and got no answer or a fax machine buzzing in my ear. If the owner or employees read this PLEASE ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

This place is rediculous !! Prices are outrageous! Sorry but when u order a plate you expect to get rice and beans, not just one side especially when u are paying 12.00 a small plate! And if u order queso expect to pay 9.00 for a small queso!! Needless to say we will not go back! I don't recommend this place to anyone!!

Tried the huevos rancheros. Just the right amount of after burn in the sauce. Loved it. Going back for more.

It's been about a year since I've been in to eat here. It was way over priced for the quality. The beef fajita meat is very tough. They seemed to have gone up quite a bit on their prices too. Doubt I'll be going back there.
