20 Classic Los Angeles Greasy Spoons Every Angeleno Should Try

"The fare at Delicious Food Corner might not follow the classic American diner mold. That’s because it feels plucked right out of a busy Hong Kong side street. Think congee, rice rolls covered in soy sauce, and warm pineapple buns stuffed with soft butter. This is diner fare, Cantonese-style, with numerous locations across the San Gabriel Valley. Just ask for Hong Kong coffee (with milk and tea) and a plate of eggs with pork chops to complete the experience." - Eater Staff

I had a pretty good first experience here. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, and the staff were quite friendly. This is a standalone building with a good amount of seating inside. I had the curry brisket rice, and enjoyed the dish. Note that this place does not give you any appetizer like soup. I don’t think I have been to a DLC that I didn’t enjoy, I’m happy to see them expand towards the inland empire so that there can be more HK food in the area. Will probably stop by again sometime soon since it is so close to the office! Im sure they chose this location strategically! Until next time!

Google
I love Asian food, but there are hardly any places near me that are open for breakfast. I came here simply because they were open early and I was pleasantly surprised by their Hong Kong style breakfast, which was new to me. I like how light the congee is and the breakfast combo price is pretty fair considering that I usually eat half the combo and then eat the leftovers for lunch so I stretch it into two meals. For the combo, I tried the chicken congee (main) with steamed rice rolls the first time and the sticky rice & chicken in Lotus leaf (very flavorful) the second time. I've gone a couple of times now for breakfast and there has been plenty of space and good customer service. I would like to go back for lunch to try other dishes.

Google
Items are hit or miss. I would avoid the Chinese BBQ at all costs. I had the BBQ pork with rice and egg. I can't believe how uninspiring it was. It looked good, but the taste just wasn't there.

Google
This restaurant serves the traditional Chinese dishes. Would be good for a family get-together as your parents will enjoy the old time cooking. There is plenty of parking. Prepare for Wait time at lunch. There are waiting seats which help with older folks. Dinner is less crowded. Prices are on the high side. Be prepared to spend. You will enjoy a delicious meal though, with fast waiter services.

Google
The most delicious Hong Kong cuisine I have ever have, service are very good, also I like there Milk tea a lot, especially they are refillable. Highly recommended to give it a try and it’s a good place to enjoy local Hong Kong cuisine

Google
Authentic Chinese restaurant with efficient approach, u eat and u leave. Lunch special is inexpensive; soup, fiber, protein, and grain, healthy! Will come again for the stew tripes, intestines, pork legs, and all Chinese BBQ delicacies.

Google
This the my go to for HK food. Never had a bad experience here. I know every time I come, I'll leave satisfied. Food is always on point, and they serve some good HK milk tea.

Google
Very famous Hong Kong restaurant; still very busy at 8:30pm (they close at 9pm). Unfortunately they only serve pineapple bun with butter till 2:30pm, so not a dinner item. All other dishes are still very good and tasty. The clay pot rice (not really cooked by a clay pot) is so good - you can find the rice very crispy at the bottom of the pot.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The food was good, and the servers were very attentive, refilling our water and checking on us. We had wonton soup, Kung Pao chicken and sweet & sour spare ribs. We will probably go back at some point. The ambience was fine, although the metal chairs were not very comfortable.

Yelp
We came here for some good home cooked porridge. W got the kidney and fish porridge, you can't forget the Chinese donut as well. Service is good so was the food. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
i started orderin take-out @their hacienda location & my go-2 meal has alwayz been their sizzling black pepper beef udon, which is $15.50 in hacienda but was caught off guard that this diamond bar location charges $20 (a near 1/3 inflation), meanin other dishes have gone up quite a bit as well :/ they need 2 update their website, as it still shows $11.50 ~ their other locations charge $15.95 on this particular dish, which is my fav but now knowin how much its gone up, i o b goin 2 da other locations

Yelp
Came in the morning and though it was busy, it wasn't that crowded to the point where we had to wait. We ordered congee with steamed rice rolls and some pineapple bread. The food was warm and tasted like every other Chinese restaurant. The prices were great considering how most places are increasing their cost. The staff members were very nice and quick with their service. As for the tea, they like it when you get refill since it's unlimited, so don't be shy if you wanted more. Overall, I feel like this place is great for hang outs and to relax. The menu is a bit limited for breakfast but if you're craving the basic Chinese breakfast, then this place can satisfy those taste buds for an affordable price.

Yelp
I've come here for both their breakfast and lunch. Located in its own small plaza, parking is relatively easy. When you head inside, the service is very quick. The breakfast menu is smaller than its regular menu, but the authenticity is there. My wife loves this place. The inside is also very large and very clean. I haven't had anything bad at this spot, and I try to order something new every time. Will definitely come back whenever I'm near the area.

Yelp
great place for quick cantonese cravings! not anything special per say, as the flavors were a bit lacking so not truly satisfying to me but ultimately, it filled me up! service was really good though and food does come out quickly. pineapple buns and wings were my favorite! the wonton soup and rice rolls with the special house sauce were standard heh

Yelp
*3.5 stars My first time at Delicious Food Corner, and overall, it was a good experience. I came around 1130, and I got seated within 5 minutes. I ordered: 1. Pineapple buns: really good, but damn, there is a huge chunk of butter with it. I was not expecting that much butter inside, and I actually took most of it out because there was too much for my liking. But really freaking good. 2. House special flour rolls: The rolls rice rolls itself were really good, but the sauce reminded me of the sauce you get when you eat Vietnamese shrimp/pork spring rolls. It was okay, not my favorite. 3. Hong Kong Style Pork Belly: this was my FAVORITE thing we ordered, it was so good. The skin was perfectly crispy, and the pork wasn't too fatty. It is quite expensive for the price you pay though. Would get this again though. 4. Crab E-Fu Noodles: pretty plain, but I added white pepper to it, and it was sooooo much better. Also good with the shallot chili oil at the table. Not something I'd order again if I would come back, but happy I tried it. Service is whatevers, what I would expect. There is a good amount of parking in the front and back lot as well!

Yelp
Review #8 This is my first time at this location. The other location is in Chino Hills. The menu items between the 2 locations are different. They don't have Dim Sums as in Chino Hills. They also have other locations as well. I am here to try the authentic Hong Kong Style Cuisine that is not offered at the other location. The ambiance and decor are nice. I ordered Ying Yang Fried Rice. It was half shrimp with creamy sauce and other half was the tomato sauce with chicken. Both were on top of the egg fried rice. When you mix both entrees together, it was really good. This is one of my favorite dishes while growing up. The other dished was Dry Beef Chowfun - This dish is one of my family favorites. I added a little spicy chili, and the taste was very flavorful and spicy. It is interesting to note they also serve breakfast which I like to come back one of these days when I am in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was good and fast.

Yelp
This review is for takeout only. Like other DFC, this one similarly does the job if you're craving for Canto food. We ordered several items for takeout, including char siu with egg, baby bok choy, yeung chow fried rice, string beans with fish fillet, tofu with mushroom, chow fun, and chow fun with gravy. All were delicious and satisfied our cravings with the exception of the tofu with mushroom. My memory of this dish from other restaurants and other DFCs, quite frankly, include silky tofu that melts on your tongue. The one we received appears to be a reheated item that someone probably asked for it to be returned: it was tough, chewy (unusual for this dish, I recall), and extra salty. I was looking forward to this dish but unfortunately, it disappointed. Pick up was quick and parking was plentiful.

Yelp
This is a review update for my dine-in experience. I'd first like to point out that I love the interior setup. It did feel like a Hong Kong teahouse. It was busy on a Friday night, but there was no wait. There were many servers, and the service was very good. We ordered a beef stir fry udon, pork belly salted fish clay pot rice, pineapple bun with butter, and lemon iced tea. The beef stir fry udon and lemon iced tea were delicious. The clay pot took a while to prepare, but that was expected. I was still excited! Unfortunately, it was not at all like the photo or what I expected. The pork belly was very thinly sliced and not seasoned well, and the rice was not much seasoned or fragrant. The pineapple buns were very stale and dry. Good potential, but the food fell short this time!

Yelp
This was the best way to start my morning and definitely worth the wait on a Sunday. They offer a variety of Hong Kong-style breakfast with the menu being a whole book that you could spend an hour looking at. But of course, we started off with the iconic pineapple bun with butter. I really wanted to try their congee since I know it's a big part of the cuisine and it did not disappoint. I chose the pork and preserved egg which all sunk to the bottom so it needed a good mix before it could be served. The texture was perfect and the pork provided the right amount of savoriness with the egg giving it an extra creamy depth of flavor. I've never heard of Yin Yang Fried Rice before but essentially it's divided into two sauces: béchamel and tomato. The béchamel sauce came with small but plump shrimps while the tomato sauce had meat and onions. This was such a good contrast of flavors since they were sweet and savory. I also love my protein, so you can imagine my happiness when I saw the three delicacy combination platter arrive at my table. It consisted of three main items: roasted duck, honey bbq (cha siu) pork, and hong kong style roasted pork. They were all delicious and you definitely get the most bang for your buck. The service is average but I don't expect much from restaurants like this. It's pretty spacious but it'll get busy during weekend mornings so if you want to avoid the brunch rush I'd go super early or super late.

Yelp
The experience at Delicious Food Corner brings back some memories of the Hong Kong Style café whenever eating at one of these restaurants. If you are craving Hong Kong or Cantonese style cookery, this place may be for you. One of the classics, is the beef chow fun, it is pretty good wok stir fried flat noodles and with garlic and soy sauce and (wok-hay) and if you like udon, there is also some sizzling beef udon with black pepper, that was nice and crispy. For the desserts breakfast style food we got was the French Toast with Peanut Butter, having it for the first time, it was really interesting and sweet. The place was nice and quiet on a weekday afternoon and they provided quick and fast service, which is always great.

Yelp
First I would like to say, I tried 3 different locations, being Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights and Diamond Bar. All of which the food is pretty good, no real complaints on taste. My friends and I love their Bolo buns and much of their dishes like pork and preserved egg porridge, cuttlefish ball noodle, roast duck casserole, beef stew hot pot. I also tried leftovers of my cousins favorite sizzling beef udon in black pepper, which is delicious even after reheating. But the service at this place is extremely slow. I am not fond with the location since it's not convenient getting into the parking lot and the price is a little more expensive.

Yelp
We like this location because it's roomier...more places to sit, than the Monterey Park location cuz it's smaller, but everything else is equally how we feel of this location. We are here for their Congee and other items in the menu and I had just tried their Fried Noodles (one of the sides you can pick that comes with their Congee), and my goodness, I wished I had I ordered this previous times I had came here...sooooooo yummy. Service is neutral. My hubby and I tried their Spam and Egg Sandwich, not our favorite. Other items were yummier. I love the morning vibe here, the hustle and bustle of people enjoying breakfast in the morning with their family and friends. So if you are looking for a quiet breakfast place, this is not for you.

Yelp
Not sure why the ratings are low because customer service is amazing and the food is bomb.com. It's authentic, and they give refills on the drinks too (HK Iced tea and the milk tea, you can even get the hybrid coffee / milk tea!) the crowd pleaser is the spicy minced pork/beef with the egg on top. So flavorful, and always cooked just right! The filet mignon cubes, garlic pea sprouts, black pepper udon beef, creamed corn fish, etc are all so good! End on a sweet note with any of their buns. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Yelp
Oh how I miss cha chaan tengs! With the Hong Kong Cafes and quick eat spots a slowly dying breed in SoCal, I'm grateful for Delicious Food Corner. They offer a full menu, including stir fry dishes, congee, fried rice, fried noodles, rice noodle rolls and that fat pineapple bun with a fat slab of butter inside. You can wash it all down with Lemon Iced Tea, HK Style Milk Tea or HK Style Coffee and Milk tea. Ribeye Steak or Fried Chicken Wings? Yup, they have that too. Pineapple Bun - I started off with this because how could I not. Two large pineapple buns, sliced down the middle so that they can throw on a big fat chunk of butter in the middle. There was so much butter that I cut half of it out, but I appreciate the glorious extravagance. A soft bun with a sweet crusty layer that just falls off when you bite into it. That is the mess I love about pineapple buns. Pork and Preserved Egg Congee - A large bowl of rice porridge arrived at my table and it looked rather plain, but gobs of stringy pork was the treasure at the bottom of the bowl. Pork and preserved egg are a congee staple, but they do it well. Soy Sauce Noodles (thin noodles, stir fry) - One thing I crave often are Hong Kong Style stir fry noodles. A heaping plate of thin noodles, pan fried in a hot wok almost to the point of crispy, mixed with bean sprouts, onions and green onions. This goes good with any main dish. The serving size here was large and I could not finish it, I had to take it home for a second meal. I would definitely get this again. HK Milk Tea - A strong milk tea with a good amount of cream. I got this iced but you can also get it hot. Since the Irvine location is still closed, I will gladly make the drive back out to Diamond Bar to get some of this HK goodness. There's nothing flashy, nothing extravagant, just a simple man's Cantonese food done well. The food comes out fast, service is quick (HK style!). And can I mention that in the restroom they have vintage posters of Wong Kar Wai movies slathered on the walls? You have my heart already.

Yelp
Delicious Food Corner is the answer to your Hong Kong style breakfast/brunch choices from porridges to customizable noodle soups to entrees like pork chops or spare ribs. I had to try the pineapple bun as it comes with a thick slice of butter that starts to melt. I was also really enjoyed the egg noodles. They were toothsome even after taking it home in the soup.

Yelp
Delicious food corner indeed. My sister and I lunched here and ordered the following: -Macau style pork bun ($12.50) -minced pork and egg ($16.96) -Hong Kong cart noodle ($17.95): wontons, roasted duck, BBQ pork A Macau pork bun was a nice way to start the meal. The pork chop here is deep fried unlike the grilled versions you get in Macau. Different, but good. The pork has a crisp and light exterior. It's proportionately large in size and definitely not for the light hearted. The minced pork and egg dish is your standard minced pork and egg dish. Nothing particularly special about this dish, but solid nonetheless. I've been on the hunt for wonton noodle soup and the version here more than satiated my craving. The Hong Kong cart noodle is customizable with your choice of noodles, broth, and toppings (up to 3). For mine, I opted for egg noodles in a Hong Kong style wonton broth - the broth had good flavor. I chose roasted duck and BBQ pork and both were quite good as stand alone proteins. This makes sense because they have an in-house deli where you can purchase both (I think). Each individual component of the dish was superb, so together, it was superb. They also offer a traditional Hong Kong breakfast that I'll definitely be back to try.

Yelp
They have delicious curry dishes here! I always get the curry fish balls and the beef stew curry. The flavor is perfect and they give a very good portion size. Pricing is on the high side but most things are nowadays. The quality and quantity of food makes it better. Service is very good. Workers are attentive and responsive. You may have to call them over, but that's typical in a Chinese restaurant. Plenty of seating including some shared benches. They also have good parking available on both sides of the building. Menu selection is vast and many of the dishes look appetizing. Will definitely need to try some of their other dishes.
google avatar

Anita L.

Yelp
We've been coming here a lot more after I realized that it is the closest one to us (Irvine location is still closed). I'm always hankering for this since I miss my HK days. Although the food isn't quite the same, it so hits the spot and satiates the craving. I just can't get enough of the "Yuen yong" which is a mix of tea and coffee. It always makes me jittery but it's so worth it. My favorites: claypot rice, jook, soy sauce noodles.
google avatar

Belldandy O.

Yelp
You know it's authentic and good Asian food when the whole restaurant is packed and filled with Asian families. We were lucky enough to get in for breakfast before the large crowd of families poured in to have breakfast Sunday morning, too. I am not the biggest fan of the seating arrangements in this restaurant, but it serves its purpose. I am just not the biggest fan of benches that you need to share with other people. Doesn't provide as much freedom to move it around if needed. We may have ordered a bit much for just two people, but at least we were happy and full when we left!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the second Delicious Food Corner that I've been to. They're usually really busy. When I got here, there was a wait. This location is pretty big with old school gaming feels in the smaller room. I like that they have the 3 items along with noods of your choice. And I always come here and get the steamed flour roll (plain) noodles with peanut butter sauce. So damn good!!! Their satay beef instant noodle soup is delicious also. Pretty decent hk cafe style food.
google avatar

Tracy C.

Yelp
This location is close to where I live now. I used to go to the one in Hacienda Heights. I noticed they have different menu items at both locations. I think they are more options at this location than HH location. I like that you don't have to wait for a table and the service is better than the HH location. The servers refilled our waters and drinks without even having to ask. This place takes card and cash, vs the HH location was cash only. Highly recommend this place whose looking for HK cafe style food! They have a big parking lot, so it's very easy to find parking.

Yelp
Party of 7 consists of 4 adults and 3 kids went for a lunch at this busy HK style eatery in Diamond Bar. We waited around 10-15 minutes for a table around 12:30pm. The store does have strong resemblance of Hong Kong style eatery with mix of traditional decor and cafe decor in Hong Kong. Service is quick, they have just enough staff and they speak Mandarin and Cantonese. We order the following: Fried chicken wing: solid, crispy fried chicken wings with flavor in meat and crust outside. It's Kid's favorite dish. Special meatball congee: smooth; well cooked rice congee with meatballs. Hokkien style wet fried rice: wet style, they are delicious if you have not try a wet fried rice before: basically they have more sauces on rice. So it's not dried like regular fried rice. Fried beef udon: something everyone enjoys ; average Stir fried beef onions and bell pepper: good taste with good ingredients. Lychee ice drink: canned Lychee with ice. Overall most dishes are better than satisfactory and some are very yummy because our kids will eat them. Price is definitely on the higher side. Overall service is fast and friendly.

Yelp
We ordered HK coffee & bun / Pork & Preserved Egg Congee / Fried Wings & Squid / Steamed Flour Rolls / Chinese Donut / Corned Beef w/Egg Sandwich Quality and quantity are fantastic. I love that there are condensed milk dispensers at every table. Wings was very flavorful and you should add its fried garlic to the congee wow! Pineapple bun was delightfully sweet and soft. Chinese donut was crispy and on point. Nothing disappointed. This is one of those traditional spots where the service is subpar but you don't mind as much if the food is really good and it is.
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
This restaurant lives up to its name. Simple no frills Chinese style comfort food at good prices. Lots of varieties, although I wasn't able to find the typical won ton on their menu. With all the food we tried there wasn't any dish that was subpar. Even the simple curry fish ball had good taste and flavorful. Their Roast Pork skin was crispy and not too dry. House Special Stir Fry vermicelli hit all the right notes, and their beef chow fun was done with minimal oil. Wait staff was busy but still attentive as they kept our HK Style milk tea and other drinks refilled. The beef stir fry udon had a good blend of flavor, and the chicken wings (although came later in the game) was one of everyone's favorite.
google avatar

Yelp
Foods was tasty and delicious as usual that I always order stir fried noodles n udons for lunch and ice lemon tea !! Yummy!! Services were good as they always refilled the ice tea unlimited.... As long as you still can drink!!

Yelp
The debut of new menu introduced two standout entrees: the Hainan Chicken Rice and the Sizzling Beef Tenderloin with Peppercorn Sauce. With each return visit, anticipation heightened as we indulged in these culinary delights. The Hainan Chicken Rice featured tender chicken atop fragrant jasmine rice, complemented by a harmonious house-made sauce. Equally impressive was the Sizzling Beef Tenderloin, boasting juicy, flavorful meat paired with a perfectly balanced peppercorn sauce. Both dishes surpassed expectations with their symphony of flavors and expert preparation.

Yelp
Who doesn't love DFC! It's nice to have a Hong Kong cafe around this area!! Avoids my trip to going all the way to San Gabriel Valley. Their breakfast are always something I crave. Preserved egg and pork and the dried vegetable with pork spare rib porridge are my go to! My husband loves the French toast! It is super thick and has peanut butter in the middle of their bread, served with butter and condensed milk. Minced pork with egg over rice is also a must try! Ask for extra spicy and they put a little more cupped up Thai chiles in there!
google avatar

Cecilia C.

Yelp
I have dined at Delicious Food Corner many times. Always impressed by the quality of their food. I had the pleasure of trying several of their dishes and each one exceeded my expectations. The HK Pineapple buns with butter were a standout for me - they were warm, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The Hong Kong cart noodle was also delicious, with a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The beef chow fun was another standout, with tender slices of beef and wide, chewy noodles. The Scallop egg white fried rice was also a highlight, with generous portions of succulent scallops mixed in with fluffy, perfectly cooked rice. Overall, I would highly recommend Delicious Food Corner to anyone in the Diamond Bar area. The food is top-notch and the service is friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Yelp
3.5 stars, the perfect rating fast and efficient service, yummy food, and clean environment

Yelp
The food is fresh and delicious, it's a little pricey but I think it is intended to be eaten family style. $22 for most entrees but the quality is decent. Service is good although if you don't speak Chinese communication might be hard especially if you want to make changes to the food. Nothing here is truly vegan or vegetarian despite what they say... so keep that in mind. Overall I thought it was good :)

Yelp
remind me NOT to come back here again! it's chinese new year and hubby and I felt like Chinese breakfast. this place is closest to our home. we ordered a salted veggies with spareribs porridge+dried shrimp/green onions rice noodle combo, and a plate of soy sauce stirred fried egg noodles (hubby's favorite even though it's 'microwaved'). plus coffee and HK tea+coffee 鴛鴦奶茶. drinks came first promptly, then the porridge, which was a little on the salty side. the egg noodles was hot enough, as we know they just microwave it longer since hubby specifically asked for a 'hot' dish. then the joke was on the rice noodles. it's covered with the sauce, and it looked like plain/vegetarian rice noodles. we questioned the waiter, who told us it is what we ordered and that the dried shrimp and onions are on the bottom side of the rice noodles probably covered by the sauce. we pickup and turned every piece of rice noodle and found only 1 small piece (2mm) of dried shrimp in the entire plate. then he said it's probably the ends of the noodles so there's not much shrimp and onions left. he had no intention of replacing it. I was upset and wanted to return the dish and have it taken off the bill. a few minutes later, the waiter brought a fresh new dish and delivered it with the sauce on the side, then tried to apologize for the earlier dish. if it weren't for this action I would have given this place a 1-star review. but I still think we've given this place too many chances and the food quality is just not there. we'd be better off going down a few blocks to the other similar restaurants for much better quality food.

Yelp
Every time I come here, the staff is friendly & welcoming. Place is always clean & service is fast. My family & I have tried numerous dishes here & we were happy every time. Highly recommend their new Indo chow fun & their iced HK style milk tea with coffee. This location also has the best fried chicken wings & squid with spicy salt.

Yelp
It was busy when I came for lunch around 1145 got my order around 1215 servers are nice and kept checking the kitchen on my order thinking I've waited to long but I understood how busy it was they also gave me water to drink quickly. I ordered the beef chow fun with the dark soy sauce it was around $18.56 -_- it was good but the price was a shocker.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
Quintessential Hong Kong food Cafe but with a tad better quality. Service is good but it's on the more expensive side for what you get in my opinion, especially the wings and soup. But still worth it if you want some good Hong Kong Cafe type of food.
google avatar

Spencer W.

Yelp
It was delicious. That said soup was pretty expensive at $18 for a bowl. Everything else was normal expensive. Lots of parking, especially bc there's a back lot behind the restaurant

Yelp
This location by far has the best fried rice in my opinion. Their chilli sauce also made my rice extra better. Portion is huge that I have to take home half of it. Service was nice since they keep filling my lemon green tea. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
This appears to be a branch-off of the main restaurant chain like the one in Hacienda Heights on Azuza Avenue. This particular Delicious Corner has no Western menu (Hong Kong style Western food) but has a barbeque section that sells roast duck and BBQ pork. This place is very overpriced, especially considering that it is located in the SGV and not Irvine. I had the popular staples of chow mein and chow fun several times and the food are really fine. For apps, I really like their salt and pepper wings - they are some of the best in the business. But the hot pot rice is mediocre at best. I also ordered half a roast duck to go. The quality is good, and the meat is flavorful and tender. But the prices are much higher than other popular to go places such as Tasty Box in Diamond Bar.

Yelp
The foods are good and delicious. The staffs are very friendly and nice. The ambiance is nice and cozy.

Yelp
We ordered turkey set for Thanksgiving get together and it came with a set of sticky rice and sautéed veggies on the side. On top of the Turkey set, we also grabbed the pineapple buns, like a bunch of them. It was so awesome everyone asked about it because they loved it. The staffs were really friendly, if you do not understand Cantonese or Mandarin, ask to speak with Jessica. She is very helpful. We forgot to take pictures of the turkey set but will definitely order again next year.

Yelp
It was surprisingly busy on a Tuesday at 2pm but me & my dad were still sat quickly. The servers were quick to refill tea and helpful even though it was busy-ish. Food was a bit oily and tea was a little too sweet and filled with ice (free refills were needed about 3x). We requested the pork to be extra spicy and it was mild at best. Price wise was a bit high for cafe style food but portions were good at least. I appreciate the waitress who helped us out because when we took togo she topped off our tea and gave us togo cups for them which was really nice. :)

Yelp
Our cousins wanted to take us to dinner and Delicious Food Corner was a convenient short drive away. With plenty of parking available and seating at long tables and benches made for 8 people, our group was seated very comfortably. Even though we were only 5 people, we ordered like we were 7 or 8 and we had dishes lined up the length of the table. The Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine was just what we wanted to wind up our vacation. You could call this an HK Diner. Standard fare includes roasted meats and we got a combo dish of Char Siu (Roast Pork Loin) and Roast Duck, both very flavorful and reminded of wonton joints in NYC. This was followed by Sweet and Sour Pork, fried bits of pork riblets ins a scarlet sweet sauce with pineapple, peppers & onions. The Chicken Bo Jai Fahn (Little Rice Pot) is very Hong Kong-esque. I love the crispy rice at the bottom when it absorbs the smoky and chicken flavors with the sweet soy sauce. We also followed with 3 vegetarian dishes: Baby Bok Choy in Broth, Lotus Root Stir Fry and Japanese Bean Curd with 3 kinds of Mushrooms, one of mt favorites. Of course, each dish comes with it's own big bowl of white rice, which I use to soak up each of the sauces. A very down home Chinese meal while on vacation!

Yelp
Super packed in the morning on a random Tuesday. We came around 10:30am for their breakfast specials. Congee combo: we ordered one with noodles and another with rice rolls. The portions were large and filling. Egg and ham sandwich combo with the macaroni and spam noodle soup: The sandwich was plain, but my toddler likes the macaroni soup, so I ordered this combo for her. The soup was light, but the spam was salty, so it worked perfectly. I like that you can add a milk tea or coffee with the combos too. Prices weren't super cheap, but we had leftovers. Overall, everything was flavored well and delicious!

Yelp
food is ok and service is ok. decoration is awesome, full of hong kong feel. 3 stars because food was better and service was better last time I visited. noticed fewer items on the new menu.

Yelp
Mushroom egg tofu was the best dish. Beef hot pot was good portion and tender. Skip the seafood udon was too much pepper and bland also not much seafood. Dishes come with rice. $65 for 3 dishes and had leftovers for 2. Fair price I would return and try new dishes. Not a fan of shared table. They should add more private ones. There's no dessert menu. Free parking in lot. Good service

Yelp
Just get out from this hell restaurant. Definitely not come back again. Never eat food taste that bad. An order of roast duck is combine from different duck. Obviously is from different duck with skin color. Not honest business. Wonton stew beef brisket noodle, wonton wrap is brown color not yellow color. Frozen too long from outside supplier. Food in here is not Hk style at all, I am from Hong Kong. Stew beef is red color, not brown stew beef. Mushroom stir egg tofu is sweet in taste not a savory at all. It's a horrible meal. Food on table serve like a trash. It looks like eating food from dump yard.

Yelp
Great place if you're craving Cantonese food. Got the seafood chow mein and filet mignon cubes with assorted mushrooms and both dishes were really good. Nothing to complain about. The filet mignon cubes were really tender and seasoned very well. Service was great! Place is spacious. No waiting on a Friday evening.

Yelp
When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I love to try their cheeseburgers to see how they do it. Same thought w my western-style order here. The bun was clearly the highlight and is required, but I loved the crispy pork chop too! Years ago I used to get the minced pork on rice from DFC, perfect in its packed-to-the-brim styrofoam to-go box. Next time I'll try the congee or some of the other more Hong Kong style dishes on offer. Notes: Friendly, attentive service; Not at all busy on a Wednesday morning; solid diner-style breakfast; over-the-top cop dramas running on the TV were a fun accompaniment.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30pm with a party of 7 and were seated around 20 minutes later. We ordered preserved century egg with pork congee, pineapple bun with butter, three combo plate with duck, roasted pork, and honey bbq pork, fried squid with spicy salt, steamed shrimp flour roll, filet mignon cube with mushroom, beef chow fun dark soy sauce, and more, as well as drinks. After tips, our whole meal came out to be $30/person. All the food and drinks we ordered were yummy, authentic Chinese food, and they were very generous with the portion. The servers were very on top of refilling our drinks and checking in on us. They were also patient with us when everyone at the table was ordering their food. Overall, I would definitely come back again. Great food and great service!
