The 14 Best Restaurants in West Adams - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Delicious Pizza is great for a quick NY-style slice during the day, but we like this unassuming pizzeria best around dinnertime. That’s when you can grab a table, order a whole pie, and take in the golden era hip-hop memorabilia lining the walls. The entire place feels like a museum exhibit dedicated to rap music, and since the owners run the record label that put J Dilla on the map, it kind of is. Bring a group of friends or a date who appreciates naturally fermented dough, fresh mozzarella, and a good Kendrick Lamar playlist." - nikko duren

Delicious Pizza is a great name because it is Delicious Pizza! Very friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Big TV in the bar for sports. They sell pizza by the slice and whole pies. They have vegan cheese too! They have some nice combo deals, which is what we tried. I had a slice, salad, and drink combo. The salad was really fresh and well put together. Super tasty. Pizza was delicious, hot & fresh!

Sure! Here's a lively review based on what you shared: --- If you're craving a spot that truly knows how to do pizza and wings right, **Delicious Pizza** is the place to be! The wings are **big, crispy, and packed with flavor**, and their **unique creamy ranch recipe** takes them to the next level. And the pizza? Absolute perfection. Whether you go for the classic or a **baby pizza**, it’s all about that **thin crust, rich sauce, and irresistible taste**. Beyond the food, the **service is fast and friendly**, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere here is a vibe—**great music, plenty of space**, and a setup that makes you want to linger. Whether you're rolling in for a quick bite or a full-on feast with friends, this spot **delivers on flavor, fun, and fantastic service**. Highly recommend checking it out—you won’t regret it! --- Would you like to add anything else to personalize it further?

I've wanted to come here for sometime since the days the Hollywood location was still in business. I'm also tired of Little Caesars since that's all I can afford lately. But once in a while I crave real pizza. I loved everything about my experience. The 12' pepperoni pizza was the best pizza I've had in forever, business seemed slow but comfortable enough for me to enjoy my time. I also love the atmosphere as there is rap music and hip hop based memorabilia all over the place and they play a lot of classic rap and hip hop music. This part of Jefferson Park is very lively as there are similar businesses on the street and is adjacent to Culver City and close to West L.A. As I told my server, I will attempt to visit as much as I can in the future. 🍕

Simple, high-quality flavors that leave a lasting impression. The true standout is bartender John — an artist in both service and craft. He recommended pizza flavors tailored to my palate and paired them with a bold Mezcal Bloody Mary to start and an Espresso Martini that took me back to a 4-star mixology bar in Japan — balanced and smooth with depth and layers of flavor. John’s attentiveness stood out from the start, showcased by thoughtful recommendations and inspiring personal stories that turned a casual night into something memorable. Great value, especially during happy hour, with smooth hip-hop beats setting the perfect vibe. Highly recommended.

Even your go-to's have to figure out who they are from time to time. You ask most folks how they discovered Delicious Pizza and you'll get the answer: we lived in the neighborhood a long time. West Adams isn't staying the same. You will see new faces at Delicious Pizza. I've met folks from Santa Monica area. Others will come from out of state. Class remains the same as they have done some renovations. They've got the top Mexican beer on tap, but I drink the top German Beer they have. It's tiring for places to go with a cheap bartenders. You find with Delicious a bartender that keeps your glass full, orders moving, and who doesn't like one that can handle a range of conversations. Even down to the bartender, Marissa shows her refinement through her cocktails. Because class is important to them, this allows them to stay with the changing area.

Wow!! Walking into Delicious Pizza, I felt a vibe. They had me at the music and the Hip Hop Ledgend wall. The hold events at this location, they have a huge patio area and a hidden event space in the back. Who knew?!?! We were greeted by Monica and Miguel and with energy and smiles. They both offered history about the restaurant and encouraged us to experience happy hour and brunch, of which we will try very soon. No on to the good stuff. The pizza, yeeees!! The Barry White is what we chose. Cheese and more cheese with one half full of pepperoni with crispy edges and full of sauce (my personal fav). Thin sliced pizza with plenty of flavor for your pallet. Delicious is the perfect description! We also enjoyed bread pudding and cinnamon rolls. Oh, and the hot chocolate is full of rich chocolate flavor that made me want to curl up with a blanket. I'm telling you, if you haven't tried, just do it now. We are going back to hold an event in one of their spaces soon. We can't wait! Photos courtesy of Hype Off Life Magazine, female owned and operated! What are the odds that a hip hop magazine would bump on a hip hop dedicated pizza joint? Love it

Google
Food: came for pizza by the slice and got a margarita pizza. Tasted fresh and amazing! I also ordered a meatball sandwich that came with a small arugula salad. The meatball sandwich was packed to the brim with homemade meatballs and the sauce was zesty. I also got a small doccini dessert and that was the perfect end to my meal. Service: The staff was friendly courteous and attentive. They were more than happy to provide recommendations since it was my first time. Final thought: This place is amazing for pizza and sandwiches. You're able to order pizza by the slice or get a whole pie. The building itself is really charming and has a cool soda shop 1950s vibe. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
I got the lamb meatball aka shot callin' big ballin' pizza. It was very good and not gamey. The meat and pizza was cooked well and it was good. The ceasar salad was also decent. The outdoors along with the cocktail bar is a nice touch. The service was slightly slow as far as the food delivery goes. But the waiter was very apologetic and helpful and nice. Overall good spot to have a beer and pizza. Parking is generally atrocious in this area though.

Yelp
Wings are not the best. Great place for a single slice of pizza. Their side salads is literally arugula. Makes me mad, literally just arugula and some cheese. Arugula! Deserts aren't the best. Good pizza tho.

Yelp
Last night, we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, pizza & spaghetti. John is an awesome bartender. The whole place is looking fabulous. Music is, of course, always on point. Staff is always friendly & helpful. It's always such a pleasure coming here.

Yelp
What an awesome spot we bumped up on in West Adams! The music is a real vibe. The wall of hip hop legends is DOPE!! They also hold events in the back. Who knew?!?! We were encouraged to come back to enjoy their patio entertainment, socialize, and have more pizza! I'm excited to explore their full bar. Okay, now on to the important stuff. The pizza is amazing. The thin crust, the pepperoni, is crispy around the edges, and the cheese melts in your mouth. It totally reminds me of the pies in New York. Sooooo good! You must try it asap. We were greeted with smiles and warmth by Monica and Miguel, who definitely made us feel like we chose the right place to grab a bite. We are for sure coming back and will host an event here soon. Yelp
The Service, The Food and the Environment is top notch! I am not sure why there are any negative reviews! As the staff always takes care of the guest! This is a great Gem in the area and look forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Extremely rude customer service and horrible quality looking pizza. They have certain "deals" listed on their own website but when I called in to ask about them they said that they're no longer doing them, despite it still being on their website. A combo that is listed as $24 is now apparently $40? And even that was unclear as the person on the phone seemed to not even be sure of the price, as they fluctuated from $38-over $40. Which at the new price doesn't make this "deal" very much of a deal at all. When I asked them to clarify about the price they were extremely rude and abruptly put me on hold for a long amount of time and didn't pick back up. In addition, ended up walking by the place and the pizza they had out looked terrible. The cheese was all congealed and nothing looked fresh. Terrible place. Don't waste your money.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Pizza is average and there are definitely better spots in Culver City. They have a nice patio for bigger groups.
google avatar

Spencer H.

Yelp
Great pizza spot. Feels like one of those old timer spots - a true vibe is going on here. Maybe it's the walk of rappers, the music, the event space in the back. Just good energy all around. Pizza is real solid. NY style. Beer selection is on point. They have the Stiegl Gold which is hard to find in LA. Server was pretty friendly. I'd come back!

Yelp
I got invited to a party at Delicious Pizza the Saturday before last, and I took the host at his word when he said I could bring my husband and kids. We rolled in at 6:30 and I was happy to see that the space was low-key and fun, and there were other children in attendance. We took over the patio, which was pretty ideal for a friendly pizza party. There were long communal tables and plenty of space to hang out, sit down, and run around. The set-up was straightforward. We got pitchers of beer delivered to the tables, and at some point, the staff set up a buffet line along an inside counter with salads and wings and pizza. I don't know what kind of beer and salad I had, but I enjoyed them both very much. The pizza was indeed delicious, with a pleasant thin crust. I liked the Delicious Pepperoni and the Delicious Mushroom, both classic and satisfying. And even my picky four-year-old was a fan of the Varry White, a nice white cheese pizza with mozzarella, fontina, ricotta, parmesan, and pecorino romano. We live a couple miles from Delicious Pizza and I'm thinking about adding it to our delivery rotation. I'd also love to come back, though. I love a place where we can get good food and drink while also feeding the kids.

Yelp
It's a good pizza that is different because of the dough and quality ingredients. It's a high price but I would try it once for sure. Some friends feel it's worth it and others don't but try it.

Meemee E.

Yelp
Amazing pizza the Cesar made w/ real anchovies so good all the dressings are real homemade.

Yelp
Wow! I can't believe it's been 9 years since our last time at Delicious Pizza! I really love this place, but we just haven't been over that way until now. The entire area has changed so much and the space has completely opened up to allow plenty of seating. The husband and I were lucky enough to snag a nice table upon entrance, right by the window in the main room where you order the food. I like the vibe of this room the best, although seating is the most limited here. Anyway, pizza was delicious, service was incredible! Staff very pleasant and accommodating. We will be back again next time we are in the area!

Yelp
I came here with a couple of friends for dinner. Really loved the vibe of this place! They play 90s hip hop and have many classic hip hop albums on the walls. Some of the pizzas are also named after hip hop and R&B artists. The pizza lived up to its name, absolutely delicious! Thin crust pizza with good amount of cheese. Multiple veggie options that are still interesting, like the Rosa. The shot calling ballin has lamb meatballs that are very tasty. Our server was also friendly and attentive to our needs. I can see myself becoming a regular here!
google avatar

Kay N.

Yelp
A great neighborhood spot with awesome pizza. It tastes better if you sit in the relaxing patio and the crust will stay crispier that way too. Friendly servers. Cheesecake is surprisingly good! Kid friendly.

Yelp
Provender: 1 star due to awful service. I ordered a few things for pickup. Traffic was more congested than usual so I knew I wouldn't arrive in time (approximately 35 minutes later). I called to see if they could switch my order to a delivery. They made excuses of why they couldn't, then before I could request they delay my order start time they just hung up. When I got there I still had to wait since the garlic knots weren't ready. The pizza was cold so I can't speak to eating a warm/hot pizza, and it wasn't good even after having to microwave it; the garlic knots I ordered did not feel soft or fully cooked; and the cheesecake was the best thing, but the portion was tiny in my opinion. Prices: reasonable for pizzas. Parking: I only know of street parking. This kind of parking is a real deterrent. People: pizza is meant for young and old. Perks: after a long day or battling traffic and you're hungry, you don't want to hear excuses or WAIT after the scheduled pickup time. I might be a one-off, but the level of service I received defines my experience here. Hardly delicious in my opinion. I regret pre-tipping for the pickup order.

Yelp
I will say first off, yes they are pricey but so worth the money. I've had 3 of their pizzas, all delicious. Reminds me of the best tasting pizza from New York City! I originally took pics. I ashamed to say I can't find them. But I have recommended this place to friends and they all agree that it is delicious. I will be back to try some of their in house specials.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice local pizza spot in Mid-City. I recommend the sangria, Caesar salad, mushroom pie and the vanilla gelato. The cinnamon raisin bread pudding was a little dry and the cinnamon seasoning was a little light for my palate. My boyfriend lives nearby so we were able to walk and there was plenty of seating and service was good for us. The music playlist was really good and overall a chill spot for a relaxing date night spot. We'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
So much more than pizza! Check out the menu! They have everything! In the community. Great service from Cindy.

Yelp
Great cheese pizza at a solid neighborhood joint... coming from the tristate area I don't say that lightly. Huge outdoor patio, tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Plenty of reviews mention unfriendly staff but that has not been my experience- everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Lizz R.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Food is always delicious!!! Never had any bad experiences with service. Love how the neighborhood embraced the pizza spot and it's been able to serve the community.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been coming here since it first open years ago and only been a very few times, the restaurants name literally states what this establishment serves... delicious pizza. Over the years this place has expanded and has added some new features to its dining area. Overall this place is very spacious and convenient for some pizza, wings, salads, or a glass of wine. Excellent service.

Nikolas M.

Yelp
You don't see places like this anymore. The ambience of the place felt genuine. Amazing food, 10 out of 10 experience. John helped us out as well as a lady both were great and made the experience a good one. I highly recommend coming here to grab pizza or wings. You won't be let down. Thank you guys!
google avatar

Bijan V.

Yelp
My local pizzeria. I love this place. Their fermented dough is everything! Excellent ingredients, not just your run of the mill pizza place.
google avatar

Isaiah A.

Yelp
Simply Delicious. But for real place stepped up their game. Pizza used to be floppier than Dobbie's ears, now the undercarriage is 10/10.
google avatar

J A.

Yelp
Very tasty! Tried the pepperoni and the lamb meatball pizza, plus the bread pudding and cheesecake. Everything was great, looking forward to trying it again! I think their pizzas are larger than you think, a small at 12 inches sounded like a personal pizza but we only ate 1.5 small pizzas between the two of us. Pick up was easy and ready, thank you!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're a fan of old school hip hop, then you've most likely heard of Delicious Vinyl, who produced hits for artists Tone Loc, Young MC, The Pharcyde, and Masta Ace. In 2015, the Ross brothers opened Delicious Pizza, not just for the obvious, but as a community center to host events and showcase musical talents. Their block parties of great hip hop artist lineups have been pretty massive and Boomyard, which features dancehall and reggae, is more intimate in their patio area. Both events are lots of fun! While enjoying the music there, I've had the chance to try some of their Delicious NY style pizzas with thin crusts and soft, chewy edges! They sell cheese, pepperoni and select specialities by the slice as well as small 12" and large 16" pizzas. Soul Flower: eggplant, roasted peppers, mozzarella and tomato sauce - great veggie option! Shot Callin' Big Ballin': lamb meatballs, mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil - flavorful Mean Green: olives, shallots, fontina, pesto, arugula and anchovies - like a salad pizza, and one of my faves here! I've also tried the wings, which tasted a bit frost bitten and microwaved. Could have been a bad day. They also have salads, sandwiches and pastas, but I think pizza's the way to go here. For beverages, they have a decent selection of soft drinks, coffee, beer and wine. Parking can be a challenge in this area, especially when they are having events. That doesn't deter me from coming here though!
google avatar

S C.

Yelp
The name says it all! The crust is thin, slightly crispy and tender. The toppings are fresh. Even a "simple" cheese pizza is perfectly yummy. Sure it cost more than chain pizzas but you get what you pay for. Don't sleep on Delicious Pizza!
google avatar

Tanner L.

Yelp
I've been trying to find a good pizza place near my apartment and heard really good things from my friends about Delicious Pizza. I ordered a pepperoni slice with a caesar salad. I was so surprised how underwhelming everything was. The pizza tasted like a mix between cafeteria pizza and costco pizza and the salad texture was as if it was sitting in the dressing for a few hours. At least the wait staff seemed nice. I really want to like this place and support a local business but I don't ever see myself coming back here. The pizza.... it was just so limp and doughy.
google avatar

Marco M.

Yelp
Gourmet pizza joint with affordable prices. Faithful customer since 2016. Love their pizza. The Cheeba Cheeba is my favorite pizza on earth. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. From the staff at the shop to the delivery guys to the managers. This place is a gift to LA.
google avatar

Jeffrey+Kathi A.

Yelp
Cheeba Cheeba y'all! This is our go to pizza joint! We normally call in get the Cheeba Cheeba and add lamb meatballs and ricotta. Hooooo doggy it's good. Also the simple yet yummy rocket salad. Light, fresh, delicious. We've been for brunch as well and it's just as good. Killer old school hip hop playing, tons of OG rappers on the wall, and now they have a full bar. I'm moving in!!

Yelp
This review is for Andrew. He was truly on top of everything tonight. Not only did he tend to my table but I watched is he equally serviced multiple tables with excellent customer service. He was professional and helpful. He was also kind and personable.

Yelp
This was a solid slice of 'za! Service is great, the people are friendly, they play some great music, and the inside decor is pretty dope. Def recommend this spot!

Yelp
On Saturday afternoon I went to Delicious Pizza on Adams with a buddy to check out the beer garden. It was great. Had a couple of beers on tap, the rocket salad, and a white pizza. It was all very good. The service was just right. It's a casual, relaxed environment, perfect for an afternoon with an old friend. It's so nice to sit outside.

Michael D.

Yelp
I find that the slices don't tend to reheat very well so I prefer to buy fresh pizzas. I love the pesto and pepperoni! Service is always friendly and they have great happy hour deals.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing place I highly recommend checking them out. Got a vegan pizza made and they were so accommodating with my dietary restrictions. Their customer service was also exceptional and they went above and beyond.

Yelp
the most best place for great pizza and good service. good vibes and a new bigger area to hang. The M-TH happy hour is the best pizza value on the planet.

Yelp
Been driving past this place for a while and finally decided to take a trip. Decor is super cool. Old school hip hop vibes. Seems like it is also an event space and there are posters all around with events. Came right as they were opening so the pizza by the slice options were a little limited. Ended up getting the margherita. They're super sweet. I ended up sharing a slice and staff cut it in half for me. My half slice was the size of a normal pizza. The pizza was fantastic. All the ingredients were super fresh and crust was crispy and thin. Happy hour is Monday- Thursday 4-6 where pizza is 50% off. Great deal and super excited to come back and get some cheap pizza.

Rio G.

Yelp
The pizza is awesome. The salad is subpar, mostly just lettuce and the salad dressing is nothing special at all. But the absolute worst were the wings. They were cooked perfectly but lacked any flavor whatsoever. To add to that, the side of ranch in the small plastic container that goes with the wings was put in the same box as the wings and it melted!!! Melted plastic in my woefully unflavored wings. The kicker was that the side of ranch was rotten and curdled. Absolutely disgusting. I spent over $100 on pizza, salad and wings and truly only enjoyed the pizza. Delicious pizza- if you're going to charge the prices that you do then you only need to sell pizza because that was the only thing worth it.

Sarah M.

Yelp
We have been ordering from Delicious Pizza for over four years. We love their pizza, wanted support a local place, and have never had any issues until tonight. Tonight we ordered delivery and half of the pizza was missing the main ingredient, (arugula). if you've ever had the Rosa pizza, the arugula is what makes it! I called to let them know and they offered to send out another pizza but I'd have to pay for it AGAIN , less 20%. Or they would give me four dollars off the order! This was a $38 pizza prior to the delivery tip! When I expressed frustration, the guy hung up on me as I was asking for the manager's name. Wow! We have never had an issue, but I have also never been treated so rudely on the phone. Horrible customer service! Unfortunately, no more Delicious Pizza for us. :(
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
I have to say, I was excited to try the this pizza. Brought two pies home to my family of four, we all concluded, it was just ok.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
What happened to Delicious Pizza?! This was a place we've loved and recommended to countless friends since discovering them a few years ago, but this week we ordered 3 pizzas to pick up, took them home and to say we were terribly disappointed is a huge understatement! Barely any sauce on the pizzas, skimpy amounts of cheese and toppings - for the most part these pizzas were just big, pricey slabs of crust. I'll say it again - what happened, guys??

Pizza J.

Yelp
Cute place. Awesome meatball sandwich. Generous side salad with fresh shaved parmigiana. Terrific service with a smile. I'll be back to try that pizza.
google avatar

Bruce P.

Yelp
I love pizza so much I go to the best pizza spots everywhere I travel too. At no time was I expecting this place to be the best pizza locally, I just went in to try it. I bought a XL pizza to share with a coworker, when I showed up with it, he didn't even want a slice, as he had been there before. I soon understood why he passed on a slice. About a year later, my wife asked me to bring the family home a pizza from here, as she had been passing the place and was curious. Neither myself, my wife, or our 2 teenage kids ate a whole slice. It's garbage!
google avatar

Richard Reaves R.

Yelp
Very cool spot owned by delicious vinyl records from back in the day. They play all old school hip hop which is phenomenal. Great album covers and photos on the walls. And the pizza and service and exceptional. I had the Margarita pizza and a glass of wine and it was delicious! Loved it and will definitely go back

Lemoyne M.

Yelp
Have always loved this place! The pizza is some of the best in the city. There is also a great community ambiance on occasion. I've accidentally stumbled into jazz shows here, or enjoyed the outside patio for their good value happy hour. I typically like the cheese or mushroom medley pizza, though friends of mine who eat more meat also love pepperoni and the like. The extra Parmesan is good, the desserts are great, too.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Pizza is a great restaurant with the best pizzas I have ever had, definitely a place worth checking out. As a pizza connoisseur, I can confidently say this establishment is Top #1 in Los Angeles to get quality 10/10 pizzas.
google avatar

Robert O.

Yelp
First off, I can honestly say that I have never been a fan of thin crust pizza, until now. Let me back track though for just one second. Our friend Karla recommended this place. I like the vibe right off the back walking in. The patio area is very relaxed. There is a screen on the wall for projected media and it has a great backyard beach feel. When I looked over the menu there were sooooo many choices that I had a tough time deciding. I tried three pizzas that night. The Slaughterhouse, Eggplant and Shot Callin Big Ballin'. All three very extremely flavorful. The crust, the crust though. It had just a bit of a char. That chat with the chili oil and rep pepper flakes combine for amazing pies. I definitely recommend this place if you're a pizza lover.
