Great cafe/deli. The sandwhich i got was amazing. I will be back for sure. The cajun fries are great too. Very clean place and very friendly staff.

I got salsalito sub today , it was really tasty and the main thing was the sauce was really exact amount. Everything was perfect, I enjoyed it .

Great sandwiches, fresh salad, sad GFS ranch. That’s the only negative, though. Everything was delivered fresh and on time through EZ Cater. I love that they use Boar’s Head meats and cheeses and their prices are very fair. If they upgrade their dressings, I’ll give them 5 stars! Very friendly, great for both small and large groups. Will order again.

Try their food for first time the chipotle chicken 3 pepper sub was fresh and very good. If you are looking for something spicy go for it.

I've read so many good reviews about this place that i decided to give it a try and made an order. And I haven't been disappointed at all ! The Blazing Buffalo Chicken Wrap was delicious! A lot of flavors and perfectly spiced ! Same for the Maple Glaze Honey Turkey Sub. And I love their Chai Latte ! I will go back for sure to try other subs and wraps.

Please get rid off this Bengali server, she seemed like she doesn’t even wanna be here. Worst customer service. We arrived to expected to get menu. But she asked us to get up and order in a rude way! Knowing that we were dinning in. The worst customer service ever.

The people are beautiful the service is amazing. I love their chai tea latte in their frozen frappe caramel, vanilla or white chocolate mocha my kids love their hashbrowns and their turkey wraps are amazing. Overall, the food is very good. They have different varieties of things you can order from. They even have a lounging area in the back that is very private if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee or food. If you are new to Hamtramck, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be a returning customer, inshAllah

I was looking for a new coffee shop this morning and came across Delite Cafe & Deli. The cafe is quite spacious, with plenty of seating options in the back. We ordered Cappuccino, Rada'ai, and Ghirardelli White Chocolate. The Cappuccino was perfect! The Rada'ai tasted great, but the smell was too strong for me; it was as if the cardamoms were burnt. The Ghirardelli White Chocolate tasted like milk. It seems that plenty of people enjoyed the subs in this place, so I'd definitely drop by again to try one of those in the future.

The food was TRASHHHH, I ORDERED 3 Subs and they jacked the order up did not add what was supposed to go on the SUBS, the corn beef was Soooo Dry and the bread was so flat it looked like a cookie sandwich , the SUPREME WAS AALSO DRY AND DID NOT COME WITH THE ITEMS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE, And also u can not see your food being made so u can see what's happening this is my first and last time spent to much money for not to get what I want!!! This place of business I will not recommend.

The breakfast sandwiches a really good Coffee is is excellent and I recommend the quiche that alone is worth. It is very good. They also have Tres leches cakes, good place.

Had a awesome croissant, egg, cheese and hash brown sandwich. The adeni chai was great as well.

Ordered a pastrami Reuben and the ratio of bread to meat is sad. Sandwich was dry and thick with bread It was like chewing bricks.

Sandwiches were sooo yummy. And the Arabic yea was delicious definitely recommend you give it a try.

Something is very wrong with the high ratings on this restaurant. It is a dingy little deli with a small, half empty deli case, dirty floors, dirty looking appliances, dirty trays, and Boar's Head products haphazardly thrown into a hoagie roll. It is very mediocre food. You are far better off to go to any Subway Shop.

Walked in and saw they served Boars Head cold cuts....already sold! Warm welcome from the two staff (one was a possible owner?). Ordered a hot sub sandwich to go and made it a meal with chips and drink. The staff were super friendly and conversational. I thought the prices were fair and the flavor was great. There was lots of seating in the front and a big lounge in the back. I would definitely recommend you stop in a perfect lunch spot!

Oh my goodness! I'd have to re-write my monthly budget if I lived or worked near this place. Definitely a standout sandwich! We popped in for a late lunch before a DCFC match this weekend and were very pleased. The menu is fairly large, but not so big that it's overwhelming. I went with the Supreme Sub which has roast beef and turkey, with the typical toppings. The sub was EXCELLENT, with Boar's Head meats (the roast beef was tender and perfectly medium) and some amazing bread that was delightfully crispy and soft. She got a custom turkey and cheddar with oil/vinegar... a sandwich that sounds too boring to be good... but it was just as delicious. The space is cute and cafe-ish, and they've got plenty of seating in the back room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are pretty reasonable too... two subs, a pop, chips, and coleslaw for a hair under $20. Not too shabby, especially for this kind of quality and flavor.

I've been going to Delite since it first opened. This is the best sandwich shop in the Metro Detroit area hands down! A wide variety of sandwiches which are served with Boars head meat. I've probably tried every single one of the sandwiches on the menu and my favorites are definitely Buffalo chicken wrap or the Cajun Turkey sandwich. They have it all! Must try!

This place has been around for a few years, but it's new to me. Effective immediately, it's my new favorite place to eat in Hamtramck. Delite Cafe & Deli is a casual place with fine quality ingredients. Boar's Head meats, fresh breads, the whole nine yards. When I stopped in for lunch today, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Taher. Really nice guy. He did a fantastic job of explaining different types sandwiches and also recommended a different type of bread for my pastrami sub (we put it on ciabatta - so good!). Overall customer service experience was superb. Taher even gave me a brief history of the building while I waited for my sandwich. (It used to be a music center). Fun fact: There is a good-sized, quiet lounge area behind the deli with free wifi. Definitely a space I can see myself making use of in the future. Oh, and the most important part... the "sinking your teeth into it" part. My sandwich was nothing short of delicious. Everything was fresh and top quality. Baked to perfection. If you stop in here for a sandwich, you will not be disappointed. Great deli!

Walked in and the girl was so sweet good customer service, The place looks really clean Man that was so delicious!!!! I got the pastrami and added some turkey bacon and a can of Mountain Dew for $7 dollars that a good deal! I honestly sat there after I finished thinking should I get a another one! That hit the spot, A hidden gem in HamtramcK!!! Everything looked fresh! Everything tasted fresh as will!!! Can't wait to come again!!!

I can't figure out why the reviews are so high. Maybe because it's open until 9pm? Maybe they have really good coffee or something I didn't order. The staff was friendly but the sandwiches are mediocre. The fact that they proudly use Boar's Head doesn't justify the small, overpriced subs. Mine was forgettable. It lacked meat and flavor. Street parking is a hassle because Caniff is busy no matter what time of day. The café is a lot bigger than it looks. There's a huge area in the back that has modern decor including a couch and a few tables and chairs. Because the area is so big, it looks sparsely furnished. WiFi is free but the seating area wasn't very clean. The tables looked like they hadn't been bussed. A friendly manager did speak to me as he walked by. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

They have a large room in the back if you have a lot of people. The food was good. I really liked the Chicken Jerk sandwich, it's loaded with horseradish and has a nice kick. The Ruben was average and the seasoned fries leave a lot to be desired. They have ice cream and some small baked goods but none of them looked fresh.

Wanted a deli sandwich for lunch and delite was the closest deli to my work (nortown, Detroit) that seems to do actually deli sandwiches. Got a traditional Reuben. Perfect sandwich, didn't come on the marbled rye, but the rye it came on was still great. Quality meat and cheese. Plenty of dressing. 11/10 would recommend. I also got the chicken tortilla soup, which wasn't for me but could definitely see a lot of people enjoying. Finished off with an iced latte which they didn't make until I walked in the door to avoid melting ice. It's the forethought for me. Will be returning. I will be a regular.

Cafe Delite is a block from Hamtramck High school, small, tidy, with a deli menu you would expect from Hamtramck- a little of a lot of things. My strawberry banana mango smoothie tasted like they used a syrup instead of fresh fruit, and the ice wasn't properly puréed - I wouldn't order one again; order the mango lassi instead. They serve Great Lakes Coffee and Boars Head deli products, which are high quality and relatively healthy (for a processed meat). My turkey reuben with slaw was perfect for the Detroit version of the sandwich. And the service was quick and friendly. They do catering also.

After reading so many enthusiastically positive reviews, I am really and genuinely confused. Just got carryout. A bagel, a reuben, and a classic sub sandwich. Bagel was okay quality I guess, but had so little cream cheese on it I had to take it apart to make sure it was even there. Two bites and it went straight in the trash. Reuben also wasn't quite there. Bread was thin and definitely not substantial enough to hold up to the mounds of meat and kraut. I love reuben sandwiches both high and low brow, but this one was just sad. I also asked for dressing on the side which didn't happen. Not a huge deal, but again, I have taken two bites and really don't have much interest in taking any more. The classic deli sub is the best thing of the bunch, but really didn't inspire the musings on its glory I see in other reviews. Did I come on a bad day? Did I even come to the same place?! Two stars for friendly service and clean interior, but man alive this was a colossal disappointment.

The customer service was great! This is important because I went right before closing. I was greeted with warmth and smiles. They have great variety which is why I came in. I also like a bit of spice which is why I was recommended the Salsilito turkey. It did not disappoint! I also ordered a cookies/cream shake and chips which were also delicious and of good quality as their Boars Head meats and cheeses. I will be back!! So long subway and Tubby's!

This place is amazing. I work next door @(royal kabob) and my lunch is always from there lol my favorite is #22 And white chocolate/peppermint latte Oh yeah how can I forget the coffe. I get my coffe almost every day before school and my godd what an amazing coffe thanks a lot.

Meh. Average in every way. Sandwiches uneventful and the cashier needs some people skills. Prob won't be back

Today was my first visit, but certainly not my last. The sandwich was awesome, the decor was adorable, but the drawing card was the fabulous customer service by Karolina. She was professional and friendly ( but not pushy). Thanks. can't wait to return.

Door propped open on a 95 degree day. No AC. Flies. Not a good sign. I saw in their ad that they sold Einstein Bagels so I inquired if they were fresh daily. Nope. Man pointed to 2 sad looking bagels in the case in plastic wrap. No deli meats were visible anywhere. I couldn't see what the meat/cheese selection was or how fresh it might be. Walked back out. How do these businesses continue to stay open? Hamtramck could use a great sandwich shop. This isn't it

Had a couple of minutes to kill and I was starving, I need something quick but I also wanted something good. I came across this place. Staff was really friend and sociable. They got my food out fast and it was awesome! Oh...and the coffee was fantastic as well. I'll be coming back when I'm in the area again. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Stopped in for lunch - prices were reasonable and service was super friendly! The food was quality, board head deli sandwiches. I ordered the turkey rueben, my only complaint was that while it was toasted it could have been toasted a touch more. There is a large open room in the back that has plenty of seating, but there were also a lot of customers doing take out.

Good prices, quality product, friendly service. The coffee is fresh, and they have a lot of food options. It's a great place to stop and grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich on the way to work

What can I say? I've been coming here for two years for a reason. The food and service are excellent. A wide variety of meats allow for a number of combinations for sandwiches. Don't forget the variety in drinks. Ranging from lattes to smoothies. Refreshing and full of flavor. This is one place you don't want to miss.

They are doing a lot of things right here. Great Lakes coffee, made well. (the cappucinos and lattes are great) You can also buy whole beans or ground coffee. Boar's Head meat makes a huge difference. Good bread makes a big difference. Their selection of sandwiches is maybe a bit small now, and they could certainly expand their menu a bit, but the ones I have had have been fresh and tasty. I'm told they are now offering breakfast wraps, as they open early. I love the pickles on the side. There is a huge room in the back with couches and tables. There is definitely free wi-fi, that I have taken advantage of for work and studying. The staff is super friendly and happy to recommend something if you are unsure about what you want. The owner told me the reuben and the blazin' sandwiches are the most popular now. I'd like to see some weird specialty sandwiches in here too. this is Hamtramck after all, bring on the weird. This is probably the best place to have a sandwich in Hamtramck right now. With a little more experience and a little more variety, this place will be a solid five stars.

Cool little local's deli. We stopped for a quick breakfast & coffee on our way through, but it was obvious most of the people who came in knew the spot well. Guy at the counter was really friendly, made us some yummy croissant sandwiches.

I ordered from Delite using the app DoorDash. My experience wasn't great, I placed my order and minutes later I get a call saying they aren't serving a specific soup that day which I then changed to an alternative soup option. Then, I get another phone call a minute later saying they're out of tabbouli and the employee asked if I wanted coleslaw or tuna. I didn't like these options so instead I decided on a side salad which was the exact price of the tabbouli. The employee then rudely stated that he's worked there for two years and there's no such thing to order when it's clearly on their menu as well as an option to be selected from on DoorDash. If they want to be with the times and accommodate customers by delivering, then they should be updating what's available to order from because this was just unprofessional and makes me not want to give them my business again. There are PLENTY of other options where this process is easier and staff members are educated on what their establishment serves.

They do it simple and right. Good coffee, tasty sandwiches and a bright and clean space. Back room could use a little sprucing up and it had a weird smell...needs better decor and lighting that could be done simply...check out Great Lakes in downtown Detroit for example, but still a good place to have a lunch and perhaps do some work. Ice cream and smoothies also available.

Great place for lunch, and studying especially with the great ownership you can't beat that. Place has a room another room where you could lounge and do some homework. The sandwiches are grey as they use the best quality. I'm going to keep coming to a place like this as they have very cheap prices to accommodate to everyone. I would definitely come here for anyone who's in the area

I love this spot! The mesquite turkey sandwich is my favorite, but everything I've ordered has always been delicious. The guys who own the place are really nice and you can tell that they really care about their neighborhood. I usually get it to-go, but there is a nice, big room in the back for hanging out or studying. A really great spot, the food reminiscent of a café I used to work at in Chicago and now when I get those nostalgic cravings, I can just go right down the street.

Always so so amazing. I recommend getting extra chipotle on every situation of you like it spicy. The location in Hamtramck is by far the best since the owner spends most of his time there. The sandwiches are like none I ever tasted before. Absolutely amazing.
