"A secret fried chicken recipe passed down over generations has helped Dell Rhea’s become a historic and necessary pit stop along Route 66. The restaurant has been feeding hungry travelers the same juicy chicken with a side of nostalgia since 1946." - Naomi Waxman

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere and decor are awesome. There was a buffet option when we were there on a Sunday but we ordered off the menu. We started with the Mac and cheese balls, which were served in a delicious cheese sauce. I had the chicken pot pie, and my partner had the chicken fried chicken. Everything was 10/10.

My brother and I decided to take in some vintage Route 66, which included lunch at this 1946 Route 66 Original, The Chicken Basket. We chose the buffet, which included their famous Fried Chicken. We weren't disappointed!

Stopped in on Saturday night with my 3 teen children. What a great experience. We all had the dinner buffet and everything was great. Priced very reasonable and all the food was fresh. Cindy our waitress was a true treasure. So kind and always checking in on us. Even my teenager agreed she was wonderful. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend for a great family atmosphere.

This restaurant is amazing. Everything is homemade: biscuits, soup, potatoes, fries, of course the chicken, desserts. Everything! Vicky is really outstanding. She'll take care of you!

Not sure how they ever made it on Guy Fieri's Triple D Show on The Food Network. May be the selfie background decoration out front? I ordered the chicken fried chicken basket. Took well over 30 minutes to get my order. The veggies were either freshly cooked or high quality frozen. They had a nice crunch and we're piping hot. The gravy was also fresh and had a good taste to it. The chicken, corn pudding, and the biscuits however were another story. While the chicken fry had a nice crunch to it, it was overly salty, and the chicken itself was bone dry. Very obvious that they either don't brine their chicken, or it had been sitting in a hot box for way too long and dried out the breast. Even with the addition of hot honey that was on the table or the gravy, I found the chicken inedible .The corn pudding and biscuit were not any better. Both were dry and with little to no taste. I finished maybe half my plate, and then couldn't stand it anymore. If you're in the area and in the mood for mediocre food and a cool looking place, sure stop by. Otherwise go to Chick-fil-A for a juicier chicken, although an inferior fry crust. This was also the first time and I don't know how long that I had to get the waitress's attention to bring me the ticket to pay. She never stopped by to check on the food or to offer a soda refill. I still paid her the obligatory 15% tip, though. She definitely didn't deserve more than that. I for one will not be back. PS: I have to admit though, that I've been living in the Atlanta area for the past 30 years Southerners know how to fry a proper, juicy, and tender chicken breast.

The same awesome staff and food since the 40’s. Great place to take the family or a date.

Google
What is find! A wonderful kitschy adorable place with amazing homemade comfort food since 1946. I recommend the fried chicken, the corn pudding and root beer float. Our first visit absolutely will not be our last.

Google
Good food good service good atmosphere. Known for good home cooking comfort food. It has been featured on Diners Drive-Ins and dives. Local establishment has been in business for years. They have a nice soup and salad bar that can be added on to a meal. A little hidden gem.

Yelp
Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket is simply outstanding! The fried chicken is second to none--crispy outside, juicy inside--and the buffet is full of flavorful, fresh, and homemade sides that make it worth every penny. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is historic, and the entire experience feels special. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing guests to take a small portion of leftovers home from the buffet. Since it's part of what you're paying for, it would be a nice touch and add even more value to the dining experience. Even so, Dell Rhea's is one of the best restaurants around and absolutely worth the stop. Five stars without hesitation!

Yelp
Dining at this restaurant is a family-friendly, enjoyable experience in itself! It is a national heritage location, I believe, set right on the historic Route 66. Our oldest daughter & family took hubby & me here for Mother's Day lunch. I admired the adorable interior decor... chicken-themed, of course. The four walls have a connecting ledge upon which sit all sorts of ceramic and carved chickens decor. So cute! We liked the all you can eat buffet, but the one entreé they're supposed to be famous for - the fried chicken - was too salty! I really liked the salad bar. Everyone's favorite were the little waffles that were like cookies. Service is very friendly, happy, welcoming. I would bring out-of-town and foreign guests here for an authentic Midwest American dining experience!

Yelp
Disappointed. Ordered: same time, same place & same order as the past week . Sadly this weeks order was not even near comparable. Picked up order w/in time frame given, actually ealier. Fried shrimp w/fries were greezy & disapointingly soggy. No comparison to past weeks order that made me want more of the same. Todays ordered tasted like it was pulled from the buffet. Yuck. Advice: order on site, not a pickup. The previous week order was delish. Not so for this week. Shrimp weren't cleaned or deveined this visit. 2 stinconsistency? A Good Hurrah for past week. Why the inconsistancy this week? D. If you like consistency dont count on it.

Yelp
My karaoke girl's luncheon was at Dell Rhea's. We enjoyed the lunch buffet and it was so fresh, tasty and soooo many delicious choices!! Two homemade soups, untenable choices to make your own salads and hot food choices galore! Not only their famous fried chicken, but also grilled chicken!! Sloppy joes, chicken meatballs....plenty of tasty veggies, potatoes and hush puppies!! Want dessert? They've got a nice spread including brownies and custards. It's a family friendly establishment with a wonderful accommodative staff!! GO!!!!

Yelp
What a fun experience and stop on the Route 66 line! The food was fantastic and well seasoned, with a very nice selection for the price ($17) and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I loved the decor with all of the memorabilia in the hallways.

Yelp
Stopped by for an early Sunday dinner. First time here. Plenty of parking. Separate bar area inside the restaurant. Friendly wait staff who properly explained the menu. Had the chicken dinner. Texture of the fried chicken was not to my liking. The batter used made the chicken hard. I think they used cornmeal. The chicken was also dry but seasoned well. Like the mashed potatoes, fried chicken livers, and corn fritter. Salad bar had a variety of vegetables, fruits, and pasta but many pieces of the lettuce were wilted and discolored, making it unappetizing. They really should discard those. My Old Fashioned was made well .

Yelp
An outstanding home style place with great food, nice service, and a homey vibe. If you like fried chicken and you are anywhere near here, it's a must go!

Yelp
This review is only for the lunch buffet. Maybe I'm not the target demographic for this place as a 26 year old woman. I saw this place had great reviews, has been visited by guy fieri, and seemed like a place where you get really good fried chicken so I stopped by. When I sat down they recommended the lunch buffet and said that if I ordered, it could take 30 minutes (even though the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full). So I tried most of the lunch buffet and it was pretty disappointing. I first got the ribs, something labeled as corn fritter but it was just like a corn dog bite, and a piece of fried chicken. All of the meats I got were lukewarm to cold. I will say, I saw someone else cut into their fried chicken and it had steam coming out so I'm not sure why my chicken was cold. The fried chicken was incredibly disappointing - not very moist at all, not crispy, just bleh. Popeyes chicken is 10x more delicious. I later tried the bourbon chicken which was just also not great but at least warm, and the rest of what I tried (marinara pasta, corn bread, biscuit) were all just fine. I would have expected the biscuit to be really good here too but alas. I noticed that the demographic was like 60+ and I could definitely see how this demographic would enjoy the way this food tasted, it had kind of an old fashioned bland taste. Me personally I live in Chicago and have had many outstanding dining experiences so maybe I have a different standard. Overall it was very disappointing food considering guy fieri featured them on his show, I can only assume the food made to order is what he is talking about. The interior was nice and the service was decent.

Yelp
An old place with friendly people and good food. Look for the cute chicken related ornaments about, a Route 66 historical marker outside, and an open fireplace in the fall and winter. The prices are a little on the high side, so look for specials. I like to get the Chicken Dinner for $20, which includes their famous fried chicken, steamed string beans, and home made mashed potatoes, along with their soup and salad bar. I add one of their old fashioned soda bottles for $2.50 and take one to go for $2.50, so my total out the door plus tip is about $30. But they have a lunch buffet for $15, a bar, and slot machines for those looking for a more affordable good time. This place is always packed with families. Yelp
My family comes here often. The vibe is very homey and comfortable - perfect for family dinner or brunch. They have a buffet but I always get their chicken sandwich. Their chicken never misses, it's always juicy and tender and their service is always extremely friendly and welcoming.

Yelp

Yelp
OBSESSED. This is such a cute location on historic Route 66, with lots of nods to that history. But the food here is really incredible!! There's a fabulous soup/salad/dessert bar, biscuits, and AMAZING fried chicken! Portions are wildly generous--I definitely had leftovers for days. I STRONGLY recommend this place for a fantastic, fresh comfort meal!

Yelp
First, amazing food as usual. Tried the stuffing for the first time; it was delicious. We had a huge problem in which George and Kayley (sp?) were a tremendous help, going above and beyond. There was a huge downpour while we were eating. Somehow all our car windows, including the moon roof opened fully on their own! Our waitress alerted the manager, who went out in the rain to help my husband secure a garbage bag over the top (all the other windows closed, but moon roof wouldn't). They sealed up the inside with tape and we were able to get home without incident. Thank you George and Kayley.

Yelp
Dell Rhea's has always been on my list since we drove Route 66. Being from Chicago, we were in town for a family wedding. The chicken is AMAZING. I had the buffet which was so nice. My husband had a chicken sandwich. Right when you walk in you are greeted as family and the service is out of this world! They should right a book on customer service!

Yelp
Review Visit: May 4th, 2021 This place gives a cluck! I'm not sure how I discovered Dell Rhea's originally but it has been on my list of places to visit since 2014. I know it was featured on an episode of 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' so maybe that is where I heard of it. However I was made aware of it doesn't matter as I finally got to mark it off my list since I was in the area and knew I needed to try it. I stopped in during an hour-long lunch break from work and thought it was a place where you ordered at the counter and took a seat. Wrong. This is a full-fledged restaurant with an optional buffet if you should want to stuff your face until you pop. I snagged a table in the far corner and got to take in the restaurant as I looked over the menu. One thing I noticed was a distinct smell if you took a big enough breath. I am not sure what that smell was but it was just a bit unpleasant. Not enough to sour the appetite if you breathed normally but enough to take note. The place also had a bit of a grime to it but that could be due to the sheer age of the place. I know it's been around since the 1940's, whether that adds to the charm of the place or detracts from it is up to you. As I sat there and waited for my Buffalo Chicken Sandwich to come out, the waitress put a biscuit with a honey packet in front of me. I looked around and noticed other people with the same thing, so this must be an appetizer they give out to all patrons, similar to chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants. I ended up dipping my biscuit in the honey on the plate to avoid getting my hands too sticky. I enjoy a good accompaniment to my food and this biscuit was delicious. Easily a top 5 biscuit in my book (not that I am keeping track). This got me excited at the prospect of what my sandwich will bring. I didn't have to wait too long before my main meal was placed in front of me. The chicken sandwich dominated the basket and I had to snack on a few of the fries to be able to grasp the sandwich in a way that didn't make a mess. The fries themselves were okay. Nothing special but also nothing awful. Just your standard french fry. Since I was on a time crunch, I inhaled my chicken sandwich. I typically eat fast, so that wasn't an issue. What I did encounter with trying to eat fast was that the buffalo sauce was indeed hot. I had to stop a few times to catch my breath and drink some water before I could continue. The sandwich came with blue cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. I learned while scarfing the food down that I wasn't a big fan of blue cheese. Not that it took away from the sandwich, just a personal preference. The sandwich itself was really good. It burned my mouth (in a good way), cleared up my sinuses, and hit the spot. It was more than enough to fill me up and I sometimes have an endless appetite. I couldn't finish the fries that came with it but half of that was due to not finding the fries all that tasty. If I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich and lived in the area, this is the place I would hit up. I might have to see if I can find the episode of 'Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives' that featured Dell Rhea's to see what it's like behind the scenes.

Yelp
Food service and ambiance is all top notch! The best chicken anywhere! I've been going here since 1967 and it has never disappointed.

Yelp
Got the travelin pack for take out. 8 pieces of chicken, fritters, mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits. Reasonable prices. Chicken was crispy, big pieces. I was impressed with the flavor and juiciness of the chicken. They have a buffet as well which was popular. Would recommend.

Yelp
A really lovely family place. Food is good and portions generous. Have holidays and special occasion events...very nice to save mom cooking time and service was excellent despite being extremely busy. Casual and welcoming.

Yelp
we have loved Dell Rheas for a very long time. We travel over and hour and half for the chicken livers. last nights dinner was horrible. The biscuits were hard and cold and not fluffy at all. The chicken liver were burnt and all dried out. last nights experience was horrible i doubt we will be traveling there again and will not be recommending this restaurant.

Yelp
The restaurant feels like walking into someone's home. It's quaint. Currently it's decorated for Christmas. The fireplace is a cute touch. I love how it makes you feel like you've traveled back in time. The Route 66 information is a great photo op. I wasn't thrilled with the lighting but it was okay. Our server was Vicky. She was very thorough but she didn't hover. She answered all of our questions. The green beans are a good portion. Easily two people could share. Actually of the portions were very generous. I liked the sauce on Chef Patrick's wings. I loved the black cherry soda. That's all I'll say.

Yelp
Lazy Saturday afternoon while out shopping I had a last minute urge for some takeout selections. The food is always delicious. The service is friendly and helpful in the restaurant. But when I popped in to pick up my order, I think it was the very accommodating and nice guy manager that helped with my order because it wasn't cash. Oh, when you come to the front door there is a notice that you will be charged a service fee for using plastic money. So, I was given the bill, I pulled out my debit card, and payed the bill, but I left no tip. As I was leaving almost into the foyer, I heard the manager say to the lady at the cash register, he paid the bill but left zero tip. First of all, I have to pay for the privilege of using a debit card? And second, why do I have to leave a tip? Sorry, that's BS move. Yet, I have to say that a lot of other restaurants have the same play if you pick up takeout. I'm thinking when restaurants use a delivery service there are share fee type of arrangements, so going forward, when I pick up my food, what is the discount? Please advise. I would appreciate to hear your reason for the additional costs.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! The chicken dumpling soup is amazing, and they have a solid menu as well They offer a buffet (for lunch) too!

Yelp
Great experience and good along with excellent service. Go there regularly for years.

Yelp
Stopped here for their Sunday buffet and it was very tasty. The service was great and the food hot and fresh. Hush puppies and chicken took up most of my plate. I really enjoyed the salad bar. They had dark green lettuce mixed in with the iceberg which I like. So many times restaurants use only iceberg. Bean salad and coleslaw were tasty.

Yelp
A favorite when traveling across Route 66 near Chicago--perfect, juicy chicken with all the fixings. A couple of chef friends raved about this restaurant so we had to go! The service was helpful and friendly, like an indoor picnic, where everyone was happy. Gingham table cloths, buffet entrees and sides, salad, and dessert stations. Help yourself or order al a carte of the menu. Friendly neighbor patrons and gracious service. Thanks for a memorable Sunday dinner with family!

Jewish J.

Yelp
Do not go here went and ordered a chicken basket with the salad bar . Did not realize there was a difference between the hot bar and the salad bar. So when sat down at my table 2 guys cane up.to me and loudly accused me of stealing food after I had already paid and I told the that I have never stole anything in my life and they loudly in front of everyone in the restaurant accused me of stealing food . At that point the waitress apologized and said it's was OK and that it was a misunderstanding. But then the 2 men said that I had to pay for the hot bar or the would call the police loudly in front of every one in the restaurant. Un believable 1st and last time I will ever go here . And my attorney will be in touch .

Yelp
DDD - The Chicken Basket, as it is today, opened in the summer of 1946 on Historic Illinois Route 66. Because of the amount of traffic and distance from Chicago, the Chicken Basket was the perfect stopping place going to or coming from Chicago. Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket has been in countless Route 66 documentaries and travel books on Route 66 and has visitors from around the world on a regular basis! "Our goal has long been to serve our customers the freshest, most outstanding food. We also promise to provide you with the best service in the world. We would like to thank you for 60 plus years of loyalty, and we would like to ask for another 60 years of that same loyalty." Fried chicken (GF) was exceptional and the Mac'n Cheese worthy of Guy's praise! Season 5 Lunch time buffet was filled with hot and delicious food options! Bldg was decked out too - and server was great!

Yelp
Our version of a Wisconsin supper club. This is not haute cuisine. But it is delicious chicken served in a comfortable atmosphere with zero pretension. Just a lot of families looking to enjoy themselves with a tasty meal, good company and at a very reasonable price. Good soup/salad bar and my favorite chicken in the world. I have been coming to this restaurant for 60 years. It's gone through ups and downs over the years but the chicken remains the jewel. Still juicy and delicious! Great service and good, reasonable cocktails too!

Yelp
Lunch buffet for $19 daily or 9.99 per pound Togo! They have a variety of options, their famous chicken is available with the buffet as well as soup and salad bar. We got to sample almost everything in just over a pound. The food was good, pretty standard American food, the chicken I think was the best part - super juicy and fresh. They did have a 30 min wait for dine in so we chose to take our buffet to go!
google avatar

Janet Y.

Yelp
GREAT food, but be warned: the chicken takes 30 minutes!! I stopped by on the way back to Chicago after running an errand in the area, and what I thought was going to be a quick solo meal ended up being a 30 minute wait and having to get the meal to go. I reheated it in the air fryer once I eventually got home, and it HIT. The staff was so wonderful and kind, and the place had a homey feel. A great place for a casual meal with friends and family!

Jamie M.

Yelp
Simply the best. I've been coming here since I was a child. It's been a while since I've been in, but came here with my family and everything was just as good, if not better than I remembered it. We love the building (50s style diner), and how warm and cozy it is inside. The staff was amazing, the soul & salad bar is SO GOOD!, they had a dinner buffet when we came in (on a Sunday night). We didn't get the buffet but it did look delicious. We got the famous chicken dinner, and even the baby approved. We will be back!

Yelp
Been going here for many many many years chickens always good food's always good service is always excellent. Big complain is they put too many tables together too close so when they have buffets it's hard to get around people, but it's a family business and I support family business all the way.

The food was so delicious and the hospitality was excellent. There were plenty of options available.

Yelp
So much to see in this restaurant. Love the RT.66 nostalgia. I came here because of a Jeep event, very cool place. Had never heard of it before. SO glad the Jeep event brought us here. The food was really good & service was super nice & attentive. Chicken had great flavor and love the breading. The drinks were really good too. Highly recommend this cute spot.

Yelp
Last night, my cousins and I swung by for an early dinner. When I say early, I mean 4:30p which is super early for this 40 year old but I went with the flow! In all, I'd say we had a table of 12 with a mix of some kids. No one really deviated from ordering Fried Chicken for the most part as there was one Chicken Parm and one Baked Chicken order. Our server was great and very kind. We ordered some apps of Jalapeño Poppers (didn't try) and some Hush Puppies. I've had many a hush puppy in my and life and these were flavorless. A simple buttery finish would've been nice but not the case. I had the 1/2 Fried Chicken which was delicious with a side of fries. I really enjoyed the light, crispy skin on the chicken as this 1/2 mixed order was more than enough. Not 100% sure I'd go back as almost 100% of the restaurant was not diverse. Plenty of parking in the lot and plenty of tables.

Yelp
*** I've Been a Dell Rhea's Customer Since 1979... This Historic Restaurant Has The BEST Fried Chicken Dinner And Customer Service within The Chicagoland Area!!! (BAR NONE)

Yelp
Hmmm. This place was so highly recommended, but really was disappointing. I tried a lot of their dishes. The "fried chicken" was kinda like unseasoned shake and bake, kinda small birds, and kinda dry. The mashed potatoes were real and good, the sausage gravy was good. Sweet potatoes were ok. Biscuits were not biscuits to me, but that may be cultural. Server was wonderful, and got me a fresh fried chicken thigh. It was better than what I had been served, but still not very good. I guess my South Louisiana tastes are different from Chicagoland tastes. My local guest LOVED it. They wouldn't make it one weekend in Louisiana, but they've lasted 70+ years in Chicago. Glad they're successful, but they sure don't cook to my taste!
google avatar

Tammi W.

Yelp
Very crowded when we went. Guess that's always a sign that food is good. Had the chicken basket. Fried chicken was very yummy. I was very excited to try the corn fritters, they were good.

Yelp
Christmas Eve 2024. Ordered meals to go for 4 people. Pick up time at 4:00. Still standing here 45 minutes later. Why set a pick up time if you're not going to honor it??
google avatar

Lambert E.

Yelp
I had a good time, the food and manager was really great and so was the staff and I would've given a 5 star review but I noticed whom I would think was the owner just berating and belittling the manager, needless to say I won't be coming back because I spent 20 years in the restaurant industry myself and that is so wrong to treat your employee like that let alone the manager in that way. Extremely unprofessional.
google avatar

Felicia K.

Yelp
Parking was easy and plentiful. They open at 11am and by 11:20am it was nearly full. Tells you a lot about the place. They have menu options that fill all your chicken and rib needs. On the other hand they have a buffet for $17.99 and that is what we opt to do. It was a great choice. We are not buffet people but I'm glad we did it. The chicken was DELICIOUS! Corn fritter was perfect the biscuits were a little dry but still tasty. Service was quick and attentive and the owners were present. The decor was 40/50s gas station vibes and the was right up my alley. The back has a cozy gather area that looks like it can seat up the 30 or 40 comfortably. If you love to spend some money they have a few gambling games in the back. Overall we will be back for them delicious looking ribs. Sorry forgot the picture!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
The fried chicken is of course delicious and the service has always been great until a week ago. Had a server who is typically a food runner who clearly doesn't understand or care what it means to provide good service. Very quiet evening for them, only four tables had guests, we ordered very simple food. After 40 minutes no food had arrived and the server couldn't be found. She finally brought it ten minutes later with no clue that we were upset. A week earlier we had essentially the same meal, also a quiet night for them and it was on our table in 20 minutes. The manager was unapologetic and ended up taking 10% off of each meal. A whopping 2.20. We won't be back, but If you go, ask for Vicky- she's pretty amazing.

Yelp
Terrible food and service. Went there with my in-laws and wanted to like it. The servers are very rude and entitled - thought it was a joke at first on how crappy the service was. Then the food came. The chicken has a weird old oil flavor, zero seasoning and leaves a slimy taste in your mouth. They won't let you order sides. Very weird. The server literally said, "I am doing you a favor by letting you add a piece of chicken to your salad". Mind you....its very expensive and they were making like $12 off one small chicken breast add but stated three times how she was doing us a favor. It's a dirty diner feel - and normally these are the places with awesome food and service. Unfortunately neither were worth it. We left for 4 people (2 adults and 2 little kids) and a $125.00 later - we were left disappointed and feeling very mistreated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Yelp
Iconic This place is a blast from the past. Lots of nostalgia. This restaurant is right off Rt 55. For those that aren't old enough to know, Rt 55 used to be the infamous Rt 66. You still may not know what that means. Rt 66 is an old but famous highway built in 1926 at the early years of families owning cars. This highway started in Chicago and went all the way to Los Angeles. Back in the 90's I drove what was left of Rt 66 from Chicago to Arizona, and then to Los Angeles. In the 90's it had partially been rebuilt to different / new highways, but there were still many parts of Rt 66 you could drive on. Even back then it was crumbling road but had so many roadside dinners and motels. Anyway, Dell Rhea's Chicken has been around since 1946, right off Rt 66. Most restaurants off Rt 66 were iconic in that people would stop frequently at these dinners as part of their journey. Rt 66 may not have survived, but Dell Rhea's certainly did. They survived because they have amazing fried chicken. I'm not going to go into detail about the chicken because you'll have to try it for yourself. I will say that you should plan on being here for a couple hours so you can see all the Rt 66 memorabilia and pictures, and you can take your own pictures.

Yelp
We arrived 10 mins before open.. they were already starting to be busy.. they have a Sunday lunch buffet that was overflowing with chicken and many other appealing items. We were sat immediately and chose the buffet that included salad bar, buffet and a few dessert items for $21.99. Although I enjoyed everything I had from the buffet, the food coming out off the menu looked AMAZING! I can't wait to go back and try an entree. There's a big dining room with lots of tables.. it was more than half full 10mins after they opened. The bar area looked quiet and mostly inviting.

Yelp
I have been a customer at Del Rhea's since the mid-1990's. The quality of the food is consistently good, very innovative specials. Along with the famous fried chicken, there is a vast buffet including soup, salad, hot items and desserts. If you can't find something you like, it's not their fault. The customer service is top notch! I do have to do a shout out for some people in particular. Jose and Petey, the busboys are hardworking and I never see a dirty table! Servers Dee, Shari, Jami, Cindy, Yessie, Brittany are personable and friendly. They always make sure their customers are taken care of and feel like family. Expediters Bill and Catherine are great, making sure to get the correct orders to the tables hot. George, the manager, has been doing an awesome job! He keeps things running smoothly, engages the customers and helps the staff whenever he sees they need it. He is an incredibly engaged manager, the staff respects him. I can't believe he has worked at the restaurant for such a relatively short time, it's like he's been there forever.

The manager George and the Cindy bartender provided excellent five star service! The drinks and food were wonderful! We will come back often!

Yelp
When ever I mention my favorite place, people know of it, but haven't been there in years. Well it has a new fantastic owner and she revamped the menu so it is even better then before! Something as simple as mashed potatoes are the best I have ever had. Everything at CB as we call it is AMAZING. The food is very affordable for what you get and the drinks are moderately priced compared to most places. Everyone here from the owner, to waitress's and cooks are great people. If you want the best comfort food and a warm atmosphere that won't break the bank, I will see you at CB. Skinny people be warned, the portions are not for you. Lol.
