Limited menu at this location. Some items are not available, and have run out. Perfectly made empanadas. Mushroom empanada in particular, great flavor, with cheese and wild mushrooms. Crowded food hall location, with many other vendors and communal seating, a fun atmosphere for a casual, quick bite. Pricey. Empanadas $6 each.

Google
easily the best empanadas i’ve ever tasted. the pastry was beautifully thin and the filling well-seasoned and delicious.

Google
I ordered three empanadas. Sweet corn, beef, and BBQ chicken. All of them were fantastic. However I liked the sweet corn the best. I highly recommend the sweet corn. A friend of mine recommended this place and I will come back for more sweet corn empanadas. Beef and BBQ Chicken were tasty too. I also liked the sauces, not too spicy.

Google
Yum! I love a good empanada and these were great. Pork belly was insane, really enjoyed the beef (able to get a GF option). They had a good menu with a variety of choices. Empanadas were ready upon order with the exception of gluten free. $3.99 per empanada, even GF!

Google
Thus restaurant was very clean. I loved the customer service and being able to meet the owners. I did try several of the empanadas and the delicious tres Leche cake. I highly recommend the tres leches cake. I think the caprese empanada is my favorite so far because it tastes like a calzone to me. The spinach one is very good too and so is the ham and cheese, and sweet corn. Please give them a try. They're worth the visit and investment in food happiness.

Google
Empanadas were stuffed full of filling, lots of choices. My favorites were the BBQ chicken, caprese and ham and cheese empanadas. Dipping sauces are great too!

Google
We love empanadas, and these were some of the best we’ve found. The sweet beef were our favorites, and the mushroom were really tasty as well. We only had three days in town and were really disappointed to find the market closed on Monday evening for a private event. We had to make a special trip there the next day to have the empanadas one more time.

Yelp
If you're anywhere near Southeast Minneapolis and craving something warm, flaky, and comforting, DelSur Empanadas is the place to go. I stopped by on a warm evening following the Legacy Cup, and the smell alone was worth the trip -- buttery pastry and savory fillings drifting out the door. The empanadas are the real deal -- perfectly golden on the outside, with just the right amount of crunch before you hit the soft, flavorful center. My favorites were the beef (rich, perfectly seasoned, with just enough spice) and the caprese (melty cheese, tomato, and basil that somehow feels both indulgent and fresh). Not to mention their french fries have that same golden crispy affect as well! Their chimichurri sauce is liquid gold. I ended up dipping everything in it -- no regrets. The staff was friendly and genuinely seemed excited to talk about their food, which made the experience even better. The space itself is cozy and bright, with a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to hang out for a bit, grab a mate or a local beer, and take your time. Prices are super reasonable for the quality -- you can easily have a filling meal for under $15. I do recommend this place however if you want to wash it down with a beverage, be aware of Malcolm yards costs.

Yelp
I ordered 2 empanadas: Spinach Bbq chicken My first impression was that they looked very pasty and dry. The spinach empanada was decent. It wasn't super flavorful, but it was nice and healthy tasting. FYI, I normally like spinach stuffed foods. The bbq chicken empanada was inedible. The chicken was extremely dry and it reminded me of meat floss. Maybe it was an off day, but I could not justify spending $4 for each of the empanadas.

Yelp
Amazing service and delicious food! Friendly knowledgeable and fast:) We got 12 empanadas all were amazing. The sauces were also flavorful and complimented them perfectly!

Yelp
I will preface my review with that I ordered delivery. However, the food arrived cold and was not great in more ways than one. The fries were extremely dry and somehow were empty and tasteless straws? Not sure how that even happens. (See pic). The empanadas would have been much better if they were warm- the flavor of the chorizo filling was good but not amazing. I tried the spinach and cheese which was similarly bland. I found this place because I was looking for gluten free spots and was excited that that they had gf empanadas. The dough was dry/thick and not super flavorful. The sour cream dipping sauce was decent and necessary for moisture. The chimichurri was too heavy on the oregano. The side salad was good. Overall was disappointed. I have never been to Malcolm Yards but since it's more of a food court I wonder if the food just sits out all day and dries out? Perhaps I'll try it for lunch in person sometime. And I would not recommend getting delivery for dinner from this location.

Yelp
We actually ate here twice in three days. Both times we stopped at their location at the Malcom Yards food emporium (or whatever it is called). The first time I just ordered one of their traditional beef empanadas and it did not disappoint. Very good. Unlike many of the other restaurants here the empanadas were ready to go so no waiting necessary. The second visit we were on a bike ride and needed a quick lunch so I knew this would be a good option since it would be fast and tasty. I got the sweet beef empanada and a mushroom empanada - both were very good. Do give them a try!

Yelp
Crispy, flaky, and utterly delicious! These empanadas did not disappoint! The wild mushroom ones were our favorite, but all were delicious. We didn't really use the sauces because we enjoyed them on their own so much!

Yelp
If you're in the Minneapolis area, Delsur offers one of the most easily accessible paths for a quality empanadas. Located in Malcolm Yards, they have a daily selection of empanadas with fillings ranging from vegetarian to chicken, beef, or pork. They also offer some crowd pleasing sandwiches, desserts, and sides. I'm partial to the pork belly empanada for its jalapeños kick. The sweet beef is a solid option for those of you with milder palettes.

Yelp
Great introduction to Argentinian cuisine! The place has a wide variety of fillings with ample vegan options. If you haven't tried one... get an alfajor! You can thank me later

Yelp
I was here a little while ago, and wanted to try something different. I have heard of empanadas, but never really had them before. Until now. Who knew that by looking at the menu I could choose from one with meat or a vegetarian option as well. Or maybe an Argentine burger instead. Of course I wanted something quick so I chose the caprese and beef empanadas which was not only so good and healthy, but it didn't break the bank either only costing like a total of $5 or $6. Who knew that they packed plenty of flavor, and was just so good. Definitely worth going back to.
