Delta Que & Brew

Four of us were on a day trip; at lunchtime, this place popped up on our Google search for restaurants in the area we were traveling through. Everyone got something different & there were no complaints from anyone! In fact, it was better than the BBQ we had at a highly rated Memphis restaurant two days earlier! Pricing was reasonable, too. I'll definitely go back if I'm within a reasonable distance!! 😋😋😋

I decided to try Delta Que based on its 4.4-star rating, but I was shocked by the surroundings. The area is in such severe disrepair—with abandoned, crumbling buildings everywhere—that my wife wouldn't feel comfortable eating there, and I couldn't blame her. It looks like a war zone or a modern-day ghost town likened to Chernobyl. It's heartbreaking to see, and I honestly don't understand how this isn't mentioned in other reviews. I later read that Helena is one of the most economically depressed, high-crime areas in Arkansas. It’s a tragic situation, and it honestly feels like the town needs to be completely rebuilt from the ground up to give the people there a chance.

We had the Brisket plate with beans and street corn- Delicious! Also the pulled pork sandwich was wonderful. There was no one else in the place, the server and cook were very nice and friendly. Such a charming town that must have been wonderful in its heyday. So sad to see the abandoned homes and buildings in the area. Go visit!

This was a cute little place to visit. I didn’t care much for what I ordered but my table enjoyed their meals. The waitress was great. The building still had its historical charm as well as historical photos on the walls.

Stopped for a late lunch passing through so the place was empty. I was worried about the quality because of that but my worries melted like the pulled pork did on my mouth. We could hear the meat being chopped up in the back after we ordered and you could tell because the meat was not dried out at all. My wife said the sauce was good but I didn’t try it because the sandwich did not need it at all. Good bark and well seasoned. The fries were really good as well. Restaurant was clean and service was great. I will definitely come back when I am in the area!!

Great spot! The wings are probably some of the best we’ve had. Love these small local places. The only thing missing is a local brewery! Mentioned it to the owner if Delta Brew. Let’s hope someone here in Helena will come thru. Help support small local business. Delta que Brew is a great little spot for food and watching a game.

Brisket was a little fatty but had a good flavor. My bbq baked potato was a good size and delicious. I give a 5 star because this was a day she was supposed to be closed but while getting ready for an afternoon party, she decided to serve us, working by herself. Only took a picture of the Brisket sandwich.

Awesome awesome place! Food was great! I had the cheeseburger 🍔 with fries 🍟. The service was pretty awesome as well. Highly recommend! I also tasted the pulled pork and brisket and it was tasty.

Food was very good, we had the brisket and pulled pork. Perfectly smoked and seasoned. Service was outstanding and we were lucky enough to meet Steve Johnson, the man behind all the wonderful photos hanging in the restaurant. Steve told us about the photos and the stories behind them with passion and love for his family and heritage.

The food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating! We visit Helena annually for the holidays and this is the only restaurant in town that has a vegan option which I was beyond surprised and very thankful! The vegan option is the impossible burger. We will definitely be returning for a bite to eat when visiting Helena! Would highly recommend this restaurant for a bite to eat, accommodates multiple diets!

This place is one of those true hidden gems. This was one of the best bbq places in my whole life. Service was great, music was excellent, food and drinks were great. Will be back every time I'm around! Thank you to the Queen Brew!!

Great service. Best brisket I've ever had in my entire life!!!! Potato salad is 10 out of 10!!!! What a wonderful meal! Thoroughly recommended!

What an amazing place! Got to have lunch and dinner here during the King Biscuit Blues Festival and my whole family was impressed. Great food and courteous service people, and the owner came to say hi while we were at lunch. The crowd loves live music and the band had our son get up and jam with them too! Definitely check out this little gem. We will be back next time we visit Helena!

Food is delicious! The brisket is outstanding on a sandwich or a salad. Service was friendly too!

It doesn't get better than Steve's Brisket Sandwich. It's served with sauce and slaw, but I love it dress as a burger with lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo! Lovely Cherry Street location! Speaking of hamburgers -- their cheeseburgers are works of art, too!

The food-is good, the people are friendly, the service is slower than slow, even when they're not busy.

I can't tell you how blown away I was with the brisket! I ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife the brisket plate with beans and potato salad. The brisket was sooooo tender and flavorful! Sauce complimented the meat and the bun was fresh and soft. The potato salad and beans were so much better than your everyday sides. Service was fair. They claim to have the best brisket in town, but I would say their claim easily goes beyond the best in town! It's as good as I've had!

Great food and service! Pleasantly surprised for an impromptu lunch with family and we will definitely be back!

Food was good. Had a Red Hot Smoked Link with chopped pork and very hot fries. BBQ was seasoned well. In here at lunchtime. Looks like this place would be hopping in the evening and on weekends. Highly recommend!
