I Ate Atlanta’s Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q on a Delta One Flight | Eater Atlanta

"Delta One passengers receive complimentary access to the lounge before boarding; arriving early is recommended because the lounge’s Local Flavors program spotlights rotating local restaurants and there’s an outdoor deck with Champagne, beers, and cocktails overlooking planes. The Concourse B and D locations specifically have hosted recent local features, and the lounge experience includes upgraded food-and-beverage options that tie into Delta One’s international service." - Henna Bakshi

I had such a great experience at the Delta Sky Club in Phoenix! First, I want to give a huge shoutout to Tyler, the bartender. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My wife had just turned 21, so we had a lot of questions about different drinks. Tyler went above and beyond answering everything with patience, making great recommendations, and even creating a custom drink he enjoys himself. I ended up calling it the “Tyler Special” and it was super refreshing! The lounge itself is on the smaller side, which is the only minor downside, but everything else more than made up for it. The food was great, fresh, and constantly replenished, which I really appreciated. Overall, this Sky Club had fantastic service, quality food, and an awesome atmosphere. Thanks again to Tyler for making our visit extra memorable!

I'm giving a lower rating primarily because the light fixtures at the bar obstruct the TVs. We had a lengthy flight delay and were hoping to watch college playoffs to kill time, but the experience was a bit frustrating since either screen is partially obscured by dangling lights. The fixtures are obnoxious and weren't designed with consideration for viewers seated just beyond the bar. TVs aside, the restrooms were clean and the food looked decent, though I can't confirm the latter since we ate elsewhere while waiting for the entry line to clear.

Wouldn't recommend. There weren't many choices at this airport so we cant complain too much -- but it just wasnt worth the "premium" we pay a year. The food is very limited. Seating is mostly individual seats and not one to be shared as a couple or family. There was a nice selection of sodas and a refill station but other than that, its pretty small compared to others.

(Writing this review in real time) First time in the Delta Sky Club and it has been a 9/10 experience overall. The atmosphere is very calming and serene and each section has its own little vibe. Grace has been absolutely amazing with assisting me as a first timer. My first stop was the restrooms, which could've used some attention, however it was fully stocked with feminine products, paper towels, tissue and soap. Next stop was to the food buffet with its variety of eats including vegetarian and plant- based options. Finally, I settled into the lounge area to write this review. The art work is definitely something to behold and kudos to whoever made the playlist! No headphones needed. Wifi very strong with plenty of outlets to charge various devices simultaneously. Comfy seating areas to fit groups of all sizes and a very nice bar area for the AESTHETICS AESTHETICS AESTHETICS! Definitely would recommend if you're in PHX and need to maximize on time.

The Delta Sky Club at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is such a great place to relax before a flight. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a calm oasis compared to the busy airport. The space is modern, clean, and inviting, with plenty of seating options, whether you want to work, eat, or just sit back and relax. One of the best things about the Sky Club is the food and drink selection. The buffet offers a variety of fresh options, from light snacks to more filling choices, and everything I tried was really good. There’s also a full bar with complimentary drinks, including wine, beer, and cocktails, as well as premium options available for purchase. It’s such a nice touch to have a glass of wine or a cocktail while waiting for your flight. The staff here are fantastic. They’re friendly, professional, and always seem eager to help with anything you might need. Whether it’s checking on flight updates or just making sure the food and seating areas are clean and stocked, they really go above and beyond to make your visit comfortable. Another thing I appreciated was how quiet and comfortable the space is. It’s the perfect spot to escape the noise of the terminal. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which made it easy to catch up on some work, and there are plenty of outlets for charging devices. The layout also offers privacy, with seating arrangements that make it feel less crowded even during busy times. The Sky Club is also well-located within the airport, so it’s easy to get to your gate when it’s time to board. Overall, the Delta Sky Club at Phoenix Sky Harbor is a fantastic experience and well worth a visit if you have the chance. It’s the perfect way to start your trip off on the right foot, and I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m flying through Phoenix.

I am submitting this complaint regarding an extremely disappointing and stressful experience at the Delta Sky Club at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, following a prolonged series of Delta operational failures. My family and I experienced over five flight delays spanning more than 24 hours, ultimately resulting in a flight cancellation due to a pilot no-show. We were rebooked from a nonstop flight to an itinerary with multiple connections and extended layovers. During this time, we were forced to sleep on the airport floor overnight after the Sky Club closed due to a delayed red-eye flight. When the lounge reopened, I attempted to bring my immediate family, including young children and an infant, into the Sky Club. I am a Delta Sky Club member and also hold multiple American Express Platinum cards, all of which include guest access benefits. Despite the extraordinary circumstances — including Delta-caused delays, cancellations, and significant financial losses (over $2,500 in non-refundable hotels) — the staff member, Shanta, denied entry to one family member unless an additional $50 fee was paid. What was most disappointing was not simply the policy enforcement, but how it was handled. The interaction lacked empathy, discretion, and basic customer-service judgment. There was no attempt to de-escalate, no acknowledgement of the prolonged hardship my family had already endured, and no effort to keep a family with small children together during an already exhausting travel disruption. The tone and demeanor were dismissive and unnecessarily rigid, especially given the context. As a business owner myself, I understand policy matters — but so does human judgment, particularly in customer-facing roles during crisis situations. This interaction escalated stress rather than alleviating it. Delta’s operational failures caused this situation. Penalizing customers — especially families with infants — while offering no compassion or flexibility reflects poorly on the Sky Club experience and Delta’s service standards.

I have been a loyal Delta customer for many years and have been experienced the Sky Clubs in many different cities and countries. Most of the time it is a great experience, but cannot say that about the Phoenix one. I understand that sometimes they get busy and that’s not the issue. He staff at this Sky Club are the most arrogant and rude people that I have ever met

Daniel Stanfield is one of the best Delta‘s got! Over the intercom he is the most professional and welcoming representative Delta I have encountered in 20 years! Give him a raise if you can and keep him as long as you can! People like him are the only reason Delta is in business! Phoenix Arizona
