Deluca's Pizza

We had the Sidetown with pepperoni and it was so good. Thin charred crust with delicious cheese and house made sauce. It's very difficult to make a super thin pizza yet have toppings that are tasty and not weight down the slices. This place does it. Worth every penny. My only knock is they don't have ranch to dip the crust in. Other thank that, it's superb and must stop.

We love DeLucas's! We hadn't been in a long while, and we looked at each other and moaned at the first bite of everything we'd been missing! The restaurant is always busy, but worse during the race meet. We had a dough reserved and waited at the bar for a table. They make a great blood orange Mule, and we each enjoyed one. We moved to our table and ordered our usual: Caesar salad, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and our pizza- The Gooch with meatballs and mushrooms added. Now, as Italian red sauces go, I am not a huge fan, but DeLuca's Bolognese and the fresh pasta could satiate me for life! It's really incredible. The Caesar is fresh and crisp and the dressing has just the right amount of tang. Plus, you get a snappy Parm cheese crisp with the salad. The pizza is baked on stone, and the char is part of the charm. The Gooch has soppressata pepperoni, garlic, sweetie drops, and arugula, plus we added mushrooms and meatballs. Now, I'm a huge carnivore, and let me just say that their meatballs are insanely good- you can also get them as an appetizer. Forget any other pizza meatball you've eaten- these are the only ones you need to remember. They will box up your left overs for you (if you have any), and write a note of thanks, with a flourish! To order pizza, you must reserve a dough, and they frequently sell out. It's a fun time, and if you're local, you will always see someone you know. Buon appetito!

The pizza is pretty good, decent texture to the crust, good toppings. We went on a weekend and even though we reserved dough, the wait to get a table was incredibly long. We ended up eating at the bar, which was fine. The decor is a bit odd and kind of has a college bar atmosphere to it. Maybe I'd try it again when its a little less crowded. I think I understand the fuss about the pizza given the lack of options around central AR, its definitely good but a little overhyped.

Food was great. The Caesar salad was on of the better ones I have tasted. Dressing is made in house and you could taste that. The cheesy gnocchi were fantastic and the bread to dip in the remaining sauce was a great touch. It should not go to waste. We had the Dave reviewed pizza and added pepperoni. They crust was fantastic. The cheese was and pepperoni were great too. The only thing I would change is maybe a slightly more great tomato sauce and more basil spread out for my personal preference. We will be making the 5 hour drive again though. Thank you, Deluca’s!

We ordered a Caesar for two and a half Sarah Meadows and half Jamesy Pie and a Cannoli and everything was DELICIOUS! One of the best pizzas we have ever had. The only thing I didn’t like was the atmosphere and decor. It was a little too dark, made it difficult to even read your menu, and it was very loud— hard to hear the waitress or the person sitting in front of you. The photos that lined the walls were headshots of random “attractive” women, which is fine, it just didn’t seem to fit the vibe of everything else and felt out of place. Other than that, no complaints! Food came fast and was great quality. Staff were friendly and quick. A little pricey, but worth it.

Rating 3 stars because the pizza was so burnt that if we had eaten the whole thing, we probably would’ve gotten sick. A human can only consume so much char before they start feeling bad. It’s a shame because we know that the pizza WOULD have tasted soooo good, if only it hadn’t been burnt. That pizza should never have left the kitchen. Earlier in the day my husband and I couldn’t decide if we wanted BBQ or pizza. Today we found both at Deluccas Smoked Pizza Co 😂😂😂 Aside from that, the appetizer and the service was great. Our waitress was super nice!

We went last night and arrived close to "kitchen" closing. I hate to be that person that orders at the last minute but, the hostess was so nice, our group felt very welcomed and assured it was not a problem. Our server was great, friendly, attentive and had a fantastic attitude! Pizza has amazing. Top 10 for sure! We got the one with the chili flakes and added Jalepenos. That was heat. If there is one criticism, I would have liked to see a bit more pepperoni for the $5 add-on charge but it's a big perfectly cooked pie. Highly recommend!

Our table is saying this may be the best pizza they have eaten! From the gluten-free part of the family, very disappointed in the options. Spent $19 for a bag of Lays chips and patty on a plate. Literally, just a plain patty on a plate. No offer for dipping sauce, no questions about it, just here's your patty.

I think Dave might have hit them low at 8.7... this is better than Sally's in my opinion. No flop. Solid undercarriage and a crunch on that crust that'll tingle your insides. Solid 9.4 IMHO. If youre looking for some place out of the norm to visit, come to Hot Springs Arkansas. And go to Delucas for some of the best pizza ever!

Was in hot springs Arkansas and everyone keeps talking about Delucas pizza. By far the most happening spot. Had to wait about 30 min to get seated. Open seating at the bar also but there was a line also. Pizza are huge. 18 inch. You can split and go half half on toppings fyi Dough crispy. And then. Crust intentionally burnt a little and I loved it. Cheese is nice with good chew to it. Not too cheesy. Got half patsy and half Benny. Patsy was so good. Nice touch of honey. Really good pizza. Benny was great also. I added the mushroom from a local farm. So good also wish they gave more though. Martini was also excellent here. Great spot to eat. Bartenders super nice and full of energy

Amazing pizza. Stopped in after walking Historic Downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas with The Foresters. the music, and the service was awesome! Lauren was fabulous!!!

We loved Deluca's! The garlic bread was the best I've ever had. The pepperoni pizza was great too and it was so much. We brought it back to the cabin and ate it the next day. Love the dark interior and also the Saturday morning football games playing on TV outside while we waited. Staff was very friendly. We will be back.

Easily some of the best pizza I've had in my life. I put this up with pizza spots in New York and Connecticut. No flop, elite cheese, and fantastic sauce. Picture perfect. If there's a wait time I recommend snagging a seat at the bar. The bartenders are awesome here. Bonus - Get the loaded Bloody Mary and thank me later. It'll take you places!

We came to Hot Springs for hiking and DeLuca's! We started with DeLuca's and the trip is already worthwhile! DeLuca's is in an old school space that reminds me of a 1970's pizza joint. Lots of hardwood, not well lit, and loud! A long bar occupies the right side of the room and we chose to sit there because even though it was mid-afternoon, there was a quite a crowd of happy pizza lovers! As we sipped excellent Bloody Marys, we enjoyed cheese covered focaccia. The bread was soft, flavorful and perfectly salted. The cheese was next level divine. I knew the pizza would be magical because the focaccia, served with a red dipping sauce was top shelf and the ingredients were clearly chosen with care. The pizza was the star of the show and I will not be able to do it justice with mere words. Great crust with little flop, perfect char and rich flavor served as the foundation for a mouth dazzling blend of cheeses and red sauce. No oil was visible. Herbs and spices were perfectly balanced. My companion said Hot Springs should have an airport just so people can fly in for lunch at DeLuca's and I agree! If pizza can be a reason to go anywhere, DeLuca's is a great reason to visit Hot Springs. Bonus points for having personable and service oriented bartenders!

My husband and I have been here in 2021. We knew when we came back to the area we wanted to come back, as the food was delicious. We had great service even though there was a slight hiccup with our order. They remade the pizza and tried to offer a free dessert. We declined as we were completely stuffed! You can make reservations, though my husband and I were able to wait at the bar for a table. We will be back!

$150 for 3 pizzas and 6 cokes..... burnt burnt burnt. Cardboard deluxe. Not impressed at all with this place. Cool vibe. Terrible food

We came through Hot springs just to try this pizza. It did not disappoint. We got the barstool recommended pizza and added pepperoni and onions - asked for bell pepper but they were either out or don't serve it. I tried the blueberry wheat beer on draft that was recommended and it for as very good also. I like ranch on my pizza but they don't serve it but i get that it is probably a Texas thing and it was good without it. Server was great and even helped us to find the nearest hot spring to head to after. Pizza is thin and crispy with great flavor. My son ordered spaghetti and Meatballs w sauce on side. It as good put pretty pricey at 25 dollars. The bathrooms were only one stall (they had 2) and were clean. Glad we stopped in!

People all over Hot Springs raved abut DeLuca's. We tried once to get in and the wait was 2 hours. We could not stay. But in the next couple of days we made a reservation and still had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes. There is some nice seating outside to wait and street parking. The establishment is not very big so understandably there is going to be a wait. We were waited on pretty quickly and the server was sweet and helpful with our questions. The pizzas are brick oven. Hand made, cold dough (maybe) since it is VERY COLD in the restaurant and hostess said it was because of the dough. She also said she should tell folks to bring a jacket when they make a reservations and she had on layers of clothing. So take a jacket if you get chilly in restaurants. We opted for 2 pizzas 1/2 cheese (Franky's) 1/2 white pie (Jamsey) 1/2 Franky with meatball 1/2 sauage The white pizza was my favorite. It was creamy and very cheesy but not at all greasy. The cheese pizza on the other hand was pretty greasy, especially after it started to cool off. Pizza was served piping hot. Too hot to eat, challenging to cut. Crust was very thin and almost soggy, not as crisp as I would have liked. The pizzas are huge. 18 inches. The sauage was pretty spicy but one of our group loved it. It was also a vit pricy for pizza but worth a try.

OMG. I've had a lot of good pizza in my life, and this may be the best NY-style charred brick oven pie (that's pizza in NY speak) I've ever had. The pizza dough, toppings, temperature - all of it was spectacular. I even got to meet the owner (he walks around the restaurant and frequently greeted customers) and he seems like a super cool, unapologetic, no nonsense kind of guy. He knows good food and he creates good food. I looked around while dining and all the customers looked super pleased. The ambiance was hip and spacious. There is a lot of seating, and on a Thursday evening around 7 pm, it was quite busy. I called ahead of time and made a reservation for my pizza dough. Note: you can't make a reservation for a table but you can reserve your dough. If you don't, they may run out, so don't say I didn't warn you. I showed up 20 min before my pizza dough reservation, and they seated my party of 4 immediately. The waitress was super nice and made some recommendations of things to do around town. We stayed at the Hotel Hot Springs and it's only a 5 minute walk from there. Dude, I'm telling you, this was excellent pizza. Perhaps the GOAT. Congrats, Anthony (the owner). You should be proud of your food and the restaurant's operation. Staff was very pleasant and the overall experience made my day after 12 miles of hiking in the national park's trails.

Been waiting impatiently to try this place since I planned my trip to hot springs. First saw it because of barstool sports review, I was excited to see what all the hype was about in this busy and popping Italian sports bar. The first night I got here we ran up and found a spot at the bar, and was prepared to finally taste this delicious looking pizza, only to find out you need a pizza reservation to get ahold of the coveted pie. So we got to try a few of their pastas the first night, and as an Italian myself, they did not disappoint. The vodka sauce has a nice zing and the meatballs are great, reminds me of my mom's. But I still had unfinished business... The next night we managed to grab a pizza reservation, and with the anticipation building I couldn't wait to see the hype. We have a large group so we got 5 different pies, and they were all PHENOMENAL. The favorites being the sidetown, which is just a cheese, It really allows you to taste the quality of the za. The other favorites were the patsy (spicy pie) and pepperoni mushroom. After having Deluca's for two consecutive nights, I can say confidently that I did not expect to have this good of Italian food in Arkansas, and it is a must hit when in town. Now I have to try the chicken parm I saw the table over enjoying.

Food and service were both excellent. Love that you can split two different types on one pizza! The vibe was so fun once they came out for a birthday blaring music we loved it! The whole room cheered it was so cool!

Me and my husband enjoyed DeLucas pizza so much. We arrived on a Saturday night not knowing they make a certain amount of pizzas and people will make a pie reservation. The staff was nice and accommodating, the food was great, and the drinks are made well. Definitely a 10/10 for this place.

Stopped by for an early dinner Sunday night. Made sure to call in advance to reserve "dough". They only make a certain amount each day. We ordered half of the Sarah Meadows (which my partner liked due to the garlic) and half of Patsy Searcy (which was my favorite due to the honey). Great pizza for NY-style pizza lovers. I did find the female portraits decorating the walls a bit odd, but I guess if it's tradition and it supports a local photographer...?

Best pizza in Hot Springs. Absolutely fantastic and FRESH ingredients. DeLuca's is a must do when we are in Hot Springs. It is non-negotiable! My favorite pie is the Big Mike with pepperoni and the creamiest meatballs and the Anthony Bourdain Blue Cheese Wedge Salad with bacon. Mamma Mia!!!!!!! The service is friendly and there is always a cool vibe there.

We were out on the wait list and told 45 minutes and we were in about 15 minutes later. The service was fast and efficient. The drink menu was great! But the pizza. My my the pizza. It's so good! I wish I lived near a DeLuca's. The Caesar salad was one of my favorites I've had!

Such a great place! DeLuca's has such a fun vibe going, while getting the pizzas out quickly! The pizza tastes amazing! One of the best slices I've had in a long time. Definitely check this place out. One of the best in Hot Springs in terms of taste, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.

The best American (New York) Italian food around. Also, the best service. The servers here will treat you like family, and if you're lucky enough to visit when the owner is making his rounds, he will embrace you like family, too. It was so hard to figure out what to get because everything on the menu sounds so delicious. They have several different 18-inch brick-oven-cooked "pies," and because I was visiting with several people, we chose The Renzi (tomato sauce, mozzarella and Italian sausage) and the Patsy Searcy (chili oil, honey, sopresatta). Both were amazing, but I think I loved the one with honey and chili the most because that sweet and spicy element added just a little something. These brick-oven pizzas come out with chewy yet crispy crust, with slightly charred bits. The pizzas are wonderful. We also got a salad for the table, and chose the arugula salad, which comes with white beans and parmesan. Exquisite. Why I never thought to put beans in a salad ... I don't know. But now my mind has been opened. Beans with arugula and cheese is my favorite combination. Of course, I had to get a Caesar salad too, because I need to try the CaeSal everywhere I go. This Caesar salad was fresh and crunchy, with a toasted parmesan tuile on top (kind of like a lace cookie, but made with cheese). Meatballs: This is a big one for me, because I love meatballs. These ones at DeLuca's come over tomato sauce, with a dollop of ricotta and toasted crostini. The meatballs were tender and I could have eaten a whole order just by myself. Someone at my table was gluten-free, and luckily, DeLuca's offers gluten-free pasta. She said it was delicious! I was super surprised to see that they offer cheeseburgers here. The owner is very proud of his cheeseburgers, so we had to get one to try. WTF: The cheeseburger at DeLuca's is amazing. And not just for an Italian restaurant. I can honestly say that this DeLuca's cheeseburger was one of the best I've tasted in a while. It's very simple and just comes with a hamburger patty and cheese on a bun, but really, that's all you need. Don't be ashamed to order a cheeseburger at DeLuca's -- because this is definitely an item to get. We ended our meal with dessert. They have seven (!) desserts on their menu, and we chose the olive oil cake, lemon ice box cake, and tiramisu. I loved the lemon ice box cake the most -- it was super rich and creamy, and not at all too lemony. The citrus cleansed the palate and was a nice way to end a superb meal.

Wow! I never imagined that I would find pizza this good in Arkansas. This is seriously well made pizza. And the other menu items are fantastic. Make sure you call ahead for reservations. We didn't have reservations (party of 3) but the staff were so accommodating and were able to get my elderly parents and me seated in a few minutes. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. The dining room is fairly spacious yet cozy. Don't sleep on DeLuca's if you're in Hot Springs (and Little Rock where they have a second location).

It is unusual for me to say anything negative about pizza places since I seldom find a pizza that I don't like at least a little. I was not a fan of the crust texture of our two take out pizzas. The crust was tough without being either crispy or doughy. Our cheese pizza had a huge burned bubble in the middle and the other pizza's sauce was as if they added hot sauce to it - not the best and I like spicy foods. The toppings on both were skimpy and I felt did not give good value for the price paid. Probably will not go back, sad to say.

Visited at the end of our time in hot springs, went in already expecting something great, Dave Portnoy gave a 8.7 after all! We were not disappointed! Easily top 5 pizza slices of my life. Both pizzas had GREAT flavor, we LOVE a crispy wood fire crust. The pizza sizes are generous, I'd imagine their pastas are the same. Our waitress was so attentive and gave great suggestions, you can tell she did eat there and enjoyed the menu. Per the recommendation, we opted for the Sarah meadows plus meatball and peppadews. WHY WAS IT SO DELICIOUS WHAT IS THIS MAGIC . Also got the Benny Briggs. Soo good also, the pepperonis do have a kick! My little one was not happy with his accidental taste, but no worries we will return when he's older and I'm sure he'll feel differently! As a mom I know it's unfair to expect restaurants to cater to little ones. But I would have loved to have separate options for him instead of trying to pick off toppings, but we made it work, and he couldn't get enough of the meatball! It was a quiet night when we stopped in, the restaurant is smaller and really cozy. If it was a weekend I'm sure it's PACKED. You can make reservations, but beware the reservations is only for pizza dough NOT a table. So you'll get to eat no worries, but it might be a wait for your table. Have no fear, great drinks/beers to enjoy while you wait.

The wait staff was so nice! The pizza was very good. I ordered the Sidetown, and it is in fact very good!

They say it's not bragging if you can back it up. Well, DeLuca's backs their One Bite score up with fantastic food, service and ambiance. Had a party of ten, that expanded from 6. Accommodated quickly and efficiently. Drinks. Check. Apps. Check. Pizza, 5 of them. Check check check. It may seem strange to call and reserve a pizza which is recommended. But it's worth it. The pizza itself is top shelf. Awesome. Shout out to the appetizers as they could be an afterthought but are not. Bartenders are friendly and professional and make good drinks. Just my two cents but if you are in town visit. If you live here. You are lucky to have this place.

Made a pizza dough reservation about 2 hours ahead of time on a Friday, had no problem getting it. Arrived a little early because they said there might be a wait regardless of reservation but we were sat right away. Decor at the angle looking toward the bar was typical, view in the opposite direction looked at 8-10 very large head shot photos of (I assume) previous waitresses?....im sure there's a backstory but it stood out as unique. Service was quick and on point with timing, food didn't take long to arrive after ordering. Everything was delicious and there were plenty of pizza leftovers overs which they boxed for us. Great place!

Beautiful little spot on the main drag literally the best pizza I've ever had. We did a half-and-half. I had the Sarah Meadows, a little sweet and then left a big kick of spice in your mouth. My friends, not the adventurous type, had the Big Make. We made a reservation the day before, which I suggest (it's for the pizza dough as they run out) Our waitress was exceptional so helpful and sweet.

This was an excellent pizza after an adventure at Hot Springs National Park. I highly recommend this spot ask for a side of honey to dip your crust in top notch pizza.

The pizza here is incredible. The best pizza you can get when not in NJ/NY. The meatball appetizer is so delicious. And the burger is one of the best we've ever had. The owner and staff are very friendly. Be prepared to wait. But that's a sign of how good the food is! You should reserve your dough in advance but be aware that is only making sure you get a pizza. There are no reservations for tables. Those are first come first served. But you can grab a drink and sit on the patio while you wait.

The best pizza in Arkansas, probably in the US. I love the atmosphere there! All the waiters and waitresses are so fun and friendly. Anthony, the owner is always there greeting people, walking around to each table, and working himself. I love that about him! He's the best!!!! Everything I've ever had there was delicious, fresh, and hot. Drinks are amazing, especially the espresso martinis. A hot springs must visit!

The pizza is worth all the Hype. I seriously don't think you'll be disappointed. However the rest of the menu needs some touch up work. If the owner is present then the place is very lively and hopping. If not, then it is not to exciting. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

I wanted to give it a 5. Let me start by saying the pizza was a 10/10 the burger 10/10. Arugula 10/10.. to be honest if I could give the burger a 11/10 I would. The service was pretty up there too. Where do I knock off THREE stars for a restaurant making such incredible food? Ambiance.. there are giant portraits of conventionally beautiful white women all over the dining room. As a white woman that is also pretty conventionally- it made me feel really uncomfortable. It has nothing to do with the food or the guest experience... One of the waiters made a joke about it being all of the owners ex wives and that also grossed me out. I'm not a prude. It's just REALLY weird. My recc is to do a little remodel and make it a place where women don't have to think about how much they've been objectified as a gender while they are trying to enjoy an excellent meal. If you can't do that- atleast include all sorts of women so it doesn't seem so pointed at a type- true beauty can be photographed in more artistic ways that don't seem so basic.

We ordered a regular cheese pizza. As shown in the photo, it came out burnt and tasted even worse. The ambience is nice, but the music is very loud. It's hard to hold a conversation over it. It's in a nice area, downtown. The workers were also kind. However, because of the food, we won't be back. ***Update: as seen below, no accountability taken by an owner and a nasty attitude is what you can look forward to if you make an honest opinion rating.

Perhaps the best pizza I've ever had??? We got a to-go order, but had drinks at the bar while we waited. The bartenders were so friendly!! We loved our drinks. The atmosphere was very fun, like sparklers on drinks fun we loved the pics of the staff (I believe?)

Dave Portnoy gave this pizza an 8.7 (EXTREMELY high) and it was hands-down the best pizza I have ever eaten. The very fact that you need to reserve your dough ahead of time tells you this is something special. When people say it's over-rated, they don't know pizza. The "girls on the wall" that others have mentioned has been misunderstood. It is an effort by the owners to recognize and appreciate local female business owners and leaders in the community. Absolutely a legendary hole-in-the-wall and the story is wonderful - a man who lost both parents in very short order decided to treat his grief by traveling to find his calling. He happened upon an elderly woman in Italy who taught him how to make pizza, which he had never done before. The story is authentic and so is the pizza.

Best pizza I've had! Great people and great food. If you're ever in Hot Springs you should check them out!

We were really excited to try DeLuca's during our trip to Hot Springs, especially since my dad is a huge pizza fan. We arrived around 7 PM on a rainy Saturday night and were greeted by a very friendly hostess, who was kind enough to let us know that there was an hour wait--and, to our surprise, they didn't have any dough. I understand things can run out as the night goes on, but it was still early, and it was surprising to hear they weren't prepared for a busy Saturday evening. We appreciated that the hostess was upfront about it, but unfortunately, we decided not to wait and found a great alternative at SQZBX Brewery, where we enjoyed delicious pizza, beer, cider, and desserts. It's a shame we couldn't try DeLuca's, but I hope they can improve their planning for future busy nights. I'd recommend calling ahead or checking if they have enough dough before making the trip. They didn't have any dough, so they didn't get my dough.

Nothing to complain about here. Last minute decision for dinner. Cheese pizza with pepperoni, and coconut cream tiramisu. Ate way too much. Self-admittedly, I'm not a pizza connoisseur but do like a great slice, with great crust. DeLuca's did not disappoint. Responsive staff, good food and vibes. Was nice to see Anthony in and out of the dinning room. No, I did not awkwardly ask for a photo for my review lol. Note, reservations can perhaps save you dough for a pizza but not a table. Plan accordingly. Must have been our lucky day.

Busy place. Make reservation. Great vibe. We walked up in time to not need one but about 45 min to get our pizza. Great ambiance but acoustics carried. Would have liked some music. Only 18" size pizza available and no by the slice. Cesar salad was delish and the large fed three easy enough. Love the thin style pizza! Not sure what was up with all the large pics of women on the walls, kinda weird but beautiful photography. There is an open wall patio area with adirondack chairs for watching games. Pretty cool, This would be great area to sell pizza by the slice. They turn on a Birthday jam with these great sparklers for birthday person.

insecure business owners who attack unsatisfied customers vs fixing whats wrong is really telling. Again, I'll go to the town bowling alley next time. I'll probably get a better culinary experience. Edit: my original review seems to have been replaced by the update. But basically the burger I had was way under cooked and way over priced. The side if chips was literally a bag of chips. all told it was like $20 or something and after drinks (2) was $40. Before the machine requested a 28% tip. Then this dude got all mad and yelp wont let you reply so I had to "update" or whatever. Bleh

We LOVED this place! Server suggested a pizza and it was amazing! Service was great and friendly! Beautiful inside. Definitely will go back!

Pizza was amazing. House made mozzarella, great sauce with a top notch brick oven dough. Highly recommend. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly and the cocktails were great as well.

The pizza was great, a little overpriced!! But great!! Bartender was good. Atmosphere a little weird with the women pics but it's part of the charm. Pizza is a Must great char!!

We had caprese salad, garlic bread, and a side town pizza. All was excellent! Amazing pizza, highly recommend it!

This place was recommended by a shop owner to us and it did not disappoint. There's outdoor covered seating though not tables, kind of like seating around a coffee table and a little bar like spot. We sat inside since it had been raining. The ambiance was very nice. The waitstaff was very friendly and prompt though it was overly busy since we ate at 3pm. We had pizza, OF COURSE! It was done perfectly and was delicious! We didn't have dessert though we had the "Celebration Package" since we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. Instead of singing to us they interrupted the music and played Frank Sinatra's L.O.V.E. Which was so cool! Everyone joined in on the celebration. The owner Tony Delucca was even out working the room though he didn't stop in on us. I love when the owner is present and adds to the experience, because That's what dining out is - an experience! Delucca's understood the assignment for sure!

The place is really cute and the pizzas looked delicious. I unfortunately did not try one. Instead I opted for the special of fusilli de arriabata. It was extremely salty. The spice was just right and the homemade bread that accompanied it was delicious, but the saltiness of the dish itself was overwhelming and I could hardly eat it. Service was good so,next time I will try a pizza.

Being from the northeast, I can be very snobby about pizza. I was excited about NY style pizza and this place did not disappoint. We got the renzi which is basically basil and sausage pizza. I folded my slice (like any good New Yorker) and I heard the crunch and had nostalgic flashbacks because I already knew it was going to be perfect. And it was. My husband loved that they put basil on it like a margharita pizza but still had the meat. The crust was *chef's kiss* and we had leftovers to take home. Also the garlic bread we ordered was nice and crisp and good. We got it because we thought the pizza would take longer to make but we didn't regret it either. It's a casual place. The photos on the wall are definitely an odd conversation starter and probably should have a sign or something telling us who they are. But otherwise it's all New York themed and I got a slice of home in the middle of the south. Highly recommend. We walked in on a Friday at lunch and got seats right away. First service took a minute but after that the waiter was attentive and friendly and service was perfect.
